It had been a decent day for Evan. He got to school on time thanks to Tikki waking him up, no teachers called on him in class (Much to his relief), and best of all, he even got to sit by Connor in English class. When Tikki asked about the blush that stayed on his face and the constant stuttering around the boy in the dark clothes, Evan explained his crush to the tiny goddess.

"You should tell him!"

Evan just tucked the Kwami into his pocket and ignored such a suggestion. If he told Connor, he'd probably laugh at him, then everyone would laugh, and then he'd just die of embarrassment!

He walked into his next class, History, and avoided any eye contact. He kept his head down and his eyes glued to the floor. You never know when someone might stick their leg out and trip you, making you fall and humiliate yourself in front of everyone.

Then the tiny goddess in your pocket could fall out and people would know that your a superhero and give you unwanted attention!...

Evan finally made it to the back of the classroom and sat at a desk next to a boy in a red hoodie- Michael Mell. They sometimes talked, but Michael was usually the one holding the conversation while Evan either nodded or gave one-word answers.

He would also sometimes sit with his friends at lunch- A group of eight consisting of Christine Canigula, an aspiring actress; Chloe Valentine, and Brooke Lohst, two of the most popular girls in school; Rich Goranski, the dick with a very noticeable lisp; Jenna Rolan the school gossip; Jake Dillinger, the top athlete; and Jeremy Heere, Michael's best friends for twelve years and counting.

It was a real mystery how these students from different steps of the social ladder became friends, but not many questioned it.

Feeling a little confident, Evan spoke, "Hello, Michael."

The Filipino boy looked up from his desk and turned to the blonde with a rarely seen frown plastered on his face "Hey." Then he looked back down.

Evan frowned in confusion. Michael was usually so loud and cheerful, but for a while, he just seemed so... Off.

He felt a small nudge in his pocket and knew Tikki was urging for him to continue.

"A-are you okay?"

Michael's only reply was a shrug of his shoulders. Evan got the message and didn't ask any more questions.

"Is he always like that?"

Tikki flew in Evan's locker so no one would see her.

"Michael?" Tikki nodded, "Well... Not really. He's been like that for a while, I-I don't know what's wrong. But he and Jeremy-" Seeing the confusion on her face, Evan explains, "His friend. They've been kind of distant for a few months ever since Jeremy started hanging with the more popular students."

He turns to his left and sees Jake Dillinger talking to Jeremy and laughing. Not at him, but with him.

"They started hanging out again, but not as often."

Tikki is about to say more, but gasps, and quickly flies back into Evan's pocket. Before he can ask why, Evan feels a hand on his shoulder, and turns around to see Connor. He can't help the tint of red that appears on his cheeks.

"Hey, you still coming to lunch?"

"I- Uh, Yeah! Oh, co-course I am!" He closes his locker and follows Connor to the cafeteria, trying not to embarrass himself in front of his obvious crush.

Lately, Jeremy's voice just annoyed him to no end! Whenever he talked, it was always 'Jake is...' 'Jenna said...' 'Rich is doing...' Ugh!

Michael should be glad Jeremy had more friends, he should be glad that they made up after... Four long grueling months of the taller boy ignoring him. He should be glad that Jeremy apologized after calling him a loser when he tried to get him back, then leaving him to cry on the floor in the bathroom of the house of the most popular boy in school.

He should be glad he had more friends... Be he just can't. He wanted more than just an apology... He just didn't know what...

Michael had thought he got over these feelings a while ago, but every time he saw Jeremy hanging out with the people who used to torment him daily, he just wanted to scream and punch one of their perfect faces!

He and Jeremy were supposed to be in this together, a two-player game, the two of them against the world, but it didn't feel like that anymore.

Sometimes... He even worried Jeremy would leave him behind again... He'd be alone while Jeremy had Rich to play Xbox with instead of Apocalypse of the Damned.

He'd be alone while Chloe and Brooke took him shopping.

He'd be alone while he would rather hang out with-

"Are you okay, Michael?" Christine asked with concern as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

At her touch, Michael froze. He wants to be mad at Christine, all because Jeremy abandoned twelve years of friendship to want to be with a girl he's only stared at afar from since seventh grade.

He became popular to get close to her. But he just couldn't bring himself to be mad. It wasn't Christine's fault. Anyone would've done the same. Hell, if he were straight, he'd do anything to date her... That's what he always told himself.

"I'm..." He sighs, "I'm fine, Chris."

"Are you sure?" She asked again "You haven't really been yourself lately."

"I'm sure," he nodded, "Thanks for asking."

"Okay," satisfied with his answer, Christine continued, "well the others are in the cafeteria already. Let's go." She proceeded to walk down the hallway with Michael following .behind

He remembered when it was just him, Jeremy, and one whole table to themselves... Or sometimes they'd eat outside.

As he continued walking with Evan, Connor cast a glance over at Michael, who still seemed so... Not himself. Connor knew what he was like, they smoked pot together behind the school. He watched as that theater girl... What's her name?... Christine! Talked on about some Musical he's never heard of, and Michael just nodded instead of asking follow-up questionsz

'What's wrong with him?' He wondered to himself.

He thought about asking him, but the guy just looked so dead. What answer could he possibly get out of him? Then he remembered that Michael and Evan had English together, so maybe he'd know. He'll ask him later. Right now, they were already in the cafeteria and at their usual lunch table.

Already sitting at the table were Jared Kleinman, Alana Beck, and Connor's sister, Zoe. It was a nice group. They've gotten used to each other quirks, Connor and Jared occasionally make jabs at each other, but they're mostly in good fun.

As Evan was eating his sandwich, he noticed Tikki eyeing the chocolate chip cookie on his tray from his pocket. Well, immortal goddesses need to eat, too.

So, while the others were talking amongst each other, he grabbed the cookie off of his tray slid it towards him, and passed it down to Tikki, who accepted it with delight. He looked up to make sure no one was looking. No one saw. Good.

"Evan, when did you get your ears pierced?" Alana asked out of the blue. Evan looked up and saw everyone at the table looking at him expectantly.

He nearly forgot about the earrings, but he guessed someone was bound to drop the question.

"I g-got them pierced over the weekend," he managed to say without spewing out, 'The guardian of magic jewelry snuck into my room and placed the earrings on my dresser.'

Zoe leaned in close to him, took a look at the earrings, and smiled, "They look nice!" Evan blushed a little bit form the attention he was receiving, but he managed to smile "I'm surprised you got black, though."

"I bet they're Con's," He heard Jared mutter, and so did the others.

Connor, who had been sitting across from Evan, rolled his eyes and said, "Shut up, Kleinman." He looked at Evan and shot him his signature smirk, the kind would make Evan's hands sweat and his face heat up.

"They do look nice, Evan," Alana complimented

RIIIIIIING!

"I gotta go-" Jeremy grabbed his hand before he could leave, "What are you doing? I-"

"Not until you tell us what's going on, Mike," Rich said with his arms crossed as he stared down the hoodie-clad boy.

Michael frowned, "I told you guys, I'm fine." He pulled his arm out of Jeremy's grasp and started gathering his stuff, but they still wouldn't drop the damn questions.

Brooke sighed, "We're really worried about you!"

"You need to talk, or somethin'?" Jake asked.

Everyone at the table stared at him with eyes filled with concern, but Michael just kept his head down to avoid looking at them, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and headed for the nearest exit. Christine got up and placed a hand on his arm, but she got no response from the Filipino as he just continued on out the cafeteria.

He sped-walked down the hallway and passed by Evan, who was at his locker, pulling a book out for his next class. When Michael walked by, he gave Evan an unsettling feeling.

"... Tikki," He mumbled, "I have a bad feeling right now."

Connor, who was on his phone, managed to get a good look at Michael as he sped right by him. He saw how glassy his eyes look, and his fists were balled up, meaning he was about to cry and he was angry.

He took another closer look and saw one of his hands slip into his hoodie pouch and pull out the familiar-looking brown paper Connor sees all the time whenever he's stressed- A blunt wrap, and he disappeared into the boy's bathroom.

Plagg quickly flew out of his pocket and hid in his long hair. The dark color camouflaged him very well so no one could see him.

"Kid, you better keep an eye on him," He warned

Connor looked confused "What'll happen?" The tiny god shook his head

"Nothing good."

"Ah, the fear of losing the one you love- it can truly break a man."

Hawk Moth held out their hand, and a pure white butterfly landed in their open palm. The other hand covered it, and with the power of the Miraculous, dark energy consumed the butterfly, turning it black.

"But this one is shattered, and has been for quite a long time."

The evil insect flew away from them, "Fly away my beautiful Akuma, and evilize him!"

Michael took a long puff of his blunt wrap, and could almost feel the effects of the pot.

He just wanted to forget the bright, wide-eyed look on Jeremy's face every time he talked about Jenna, or Christine, or Rich, or Brooke, or whoever the fuck else.

Jeremy was never like that around him... He was losing his best friend all over again. He didn't even know if he could call him that anymore.

He'll be alone again...

Hanging his head in sadness, he didn't notice the black butterfly slip in through the small open window in the bathroom and land on his blunt wrap.

"Cloud of Doubt, I am Hawkmoth."

Michael lifted his head up. A purple butterfly outline appeared on his face as Hawk Moth communicated with him

"Wh-who are you?"

"I am your true friend. Someone who will give you the power to make others express their doubts and fears. In exchange for this gift, you must give me the Miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir!"

"Who?"

"You'll know when you see them. Do we have a deal my, Pitiful Child?"

When Hawk Moth finished his monologue, Michael's lips curled up in a sinister grin, "All doubts and fears will be revealed."

Michael straightened himself up and allowed himself to be engulfed in a black murky cloud that bubbled up from the blunt wrap.

RIIIIIING!

Jeremy packs up his backpack, but his eyes wander over to the empty desk next to him. He sighs and continues packing.

"Are you okay, Jeremy?"

Jeremy looked up at the hand being placed on his shoulder. Standing in front of his desk was Brooke, with a concerned look on her face.

He sighed, "No. It's Michael. I-I know we haven't been on the best terms lately, but... I'm still worried. We don't hang out anymore, he doesn't talk to me. I just want him back."

"Jeremy. I won't lie. What you did was a sitty move." Jeremy looks down, ashamed, "But give him time." She smiles, "Maybe try spending more time with him. When was the last time you two played that video game?"

"..." Jeremy furrows his brow, thinking back to the last time he and Michael played Apocalypse of The Damned. When he can't recall, he smacks his forehead, "Fuck." He mutters, "It's been like... Months."

He stands from his desk and follows Brooke out of the classroom.

"I bet he thinks I'm an ass."

"No, he doesn't," Brooke said, crossing her arms "You guys are best friends."

As they walk down the hallway, they bump into Rich,

"Hey Rich-" Brooke greets but is then cut off by him, "Am I too short?!" They look at him, puzzled. When they don't answer, he freaks out, "Aw, fuck! I am! D-do you guys even like this red streak in my hair? I thought it looked cool, but, I-I don't know!"

"Rich, what's wrong with you?" Jeremy asks.

"I bet a lot of things, man! And why the hell am I wearing this shirt with camouflage pants?!" He pulls on the collar of his shirt, "What was I thinking?! Why do people even like me?... Do people like me?!"

"Rich, what is that?!" Brooke points up at a dark gray cloud floating over Rich's head.

"Who cares?!" Rich shouted, then ran away to question others. Jeremy and Brooke look around and notice the other students seem to be freaking out, and all have dark clouds over their heads

"Jesus Christ," Jeremy mutters "What the hell is going on?"

"DO YOU GUYS EVEN LIKE MY HAIR?!"

"I DON'T THINK I'M GOOD ENOUGH FOR COLLEGE!"

"WHY CAN'T I FIGHT BACK?!"

"AM I FAT?!"

"DID I GET TOO MANY PIERCINGS?!"

"MY DAD DOESN'T LOVE ME!"

"I THINK MY GIRLFRIEND IS CHEATING ON ME!"

"I DON'T THINK IM STRAIGHT!"

Everyone who had dark clouds over their heads yelled out their fears and insecurities while others tried to figure out what was wrong and calm them down.

Jake, Christine, Jenna, and Chloe run up to Jeremy and Brooke. Jake looks up and sighs with relief when he doesn't see the dark clouds.

"Oh thank God! You guys are okay!"

"What's going on?!" Jenna asked, panickingz

Chloe looked past them, and her eyes widen. "I think that may have something to do with this!" She points to a cloud of smoke at the end of the hallway. If one were to look closely, they could see a dark figure. The smoke lifted up, revealing...

"Michael?!"

No longer was he wearing his iconic red hoodie. He now wore a black cloak, much like Raven's from Teen Titans, only shorter, and in place of the red orb was a white teardrop. On his face was a black mask in the shape of a butterfly. He has on a black shirt with a swan-neck collar with a white collar underneath, and dark purple pants that become black halfway down his lower legs, and reached the floor, covering his feet.

In his hand, he was carrying some sort of dark purple stick with smoke coming out of the end

Christine recognizes the stick as a cigarette stick. She remembered going to see a play that took place in the '20s, and the actors used them for their fake cigarettes

"It's Cloud of Doubt, now." He whispered, but the others heard it clearly. He took a puff of the cigarette stick and blew out the smoke which formed small clouds. At his command, the clouds flew towards the group. They ran.

Meanwhile, Evan was hiding in a classroom and looking at the chaos through the cracked door.

It had been in history class when he saw gray smoke flooding the room. The teacher prepared to have them evacuate, thinking it was a fire when suddenly, the door flew open revealing Cloud of Doubt.

The teacher was about to reprimand him for smoking, but the Akuma blew smoke in her face, and it formed a dark cloud over her head. She turned to the class and asked if they liked her and or if she was doing a terrible job as an educator.

Cloud of Doubt did the same to many other students in the room but most managed to escape, one of them being Evan.

Tikki flew out of his pocket

"Tikki, what was that thing?!" He whisper-screamed

"That's Michael! He must've been akumatized." She explained then smiled "Now this is your chance to become Ladybug!"

"What?!"

"With your powers, you can purify Michael! Just catch the black butterfly with your weapon and purify it."

Connor hid in a bathroom stall and listened to Plagg's instructions, "Just say 'Plagg, claws out' to transform, then 'claws off' to detransform."

"That's it?"

"And to use your destruction powers, just yell out 'cataclysm' and touch whatever you want to be destroyed."

"Tikki, I don't know."

"It'll be okay." She assured, "You just have to say 'Tikki, spots on to transform', and say 'Lucky Charm to use your power!"

Evan took a desk breath and said...

"Tikki, spots on."

Tikki grinned as she flew into the earrings, and the transformation began.

Gone was Evan's blue polo shirt and khakis. Now he wore a red bodysuit with black spots that would remind one of a ladybug. A black belt appears around his waist, holding his yoyo. And a red mask with five black spots materialized on his face. His hair becomes messier, and his eyes somehow became a brighter blue

Evan, now Ladybug, looked at himself in the reflection of a window and was at a loss for words until he heard screams from outside the classroom

"Right! The Akuma!" He pulled out his yoyo, keeping it in his hand just in case, and ran out of the room to face Cloud of Doubt as the town's newest hero

"Plagg claws out!" The kwami of destruction flew into his ring, and Connor's transformation began.

His black hoodie and jeans were now replaced with a black leather bodysuit which came with a golden bell, a black belt that acted as his tail, and cat ears that seemed to have fused to his head. A black mask appeared on his face, his irises and scleras became a bright green, and his pupils became slit, much like a cat's. Leather boots completed the look, and Chat Noir was now standing in the bathroom, getting a look at himself in the mirror

"Holy fuck." He cursed as he examined his new look. He noticed a small silver cylinder with a green paw print in his belt. He pulled it out and pressed the paw print, making the cylinder extend into a bo-staff

He grinned, showing off his now sharp teeth "Alright, let's fuck up some shit!"

Chat Noir ran down the hallway, following the trail of students with clouds over their heads. He eventually ran into someone.

"Hey, watch- huh?"

Jenna and Jeremy got a better look at the leather-clad hero, and stared at him in awe, "Are you another superhero?" Jeremy asked.

'Another superhero?' He thought to himself "Yeah, I guess. Who's the other one?" He asked

The school gossip pulled out her phone and showed him the photos she took of the fight, "There's a blonde guy fighting Cloud of Doubt. He calls himself Ladybug."

'Damn. Ladybug's kinda cute.' He snapped out of these thoughts and looked back to the two, "Where are they right now?"

"The cafeteria. Come on." She grabbed Chat's hand and proceeded to pull him all the way to the cafeteria with Jeremy following behind.

He could've just gone by himself, but that would probably reveal to the gossip that there was a hero at their school, and give away his identity.

They finally made it to the cafeteria and saw Cloud of Doubt fighting Ladybug. Around them were students with clouds over their heads, crying and questioning themselves. A determined look came on Chat Noir's face as he turned to Jeremy and Jenna, "Go and hide with the others. I'll deal with Grimm Reaper over there."

"Got it!" She snapped one more photo of the scene then ran out of the cafeteria to hide, but Jeremy stayed behind and spoke to Chat Noir.

"Please help him! He's my best friend!" He pleaded. Connor normally wouldn't comfort others, but he was Chat Noir now.

"Don't worry. He'll be fine. Just get to safety." He said with a smile. Jeremy nodded and ran after Jenna to find someplace safe to hide. Chat ran over to Ladybug

"Need a hand, bug?"

Ladybug dodged another one of the clouds and turned to the leather-clad hero running towards him.

Chat Noir was immediately smitten. He thought Ladybug in the picture was cute, but in person, it looked as if he was staring right at a blonde angel dressed in red.

"Wh-who are you?"

This roused Chat out of his daze and allowed him to introduce himself "Name's Chat Noir." He said with a smirk, but it disappeared when he saw another cloud coming for them. He uses his staff to deflect it, "So what's this guy's deal?"

"I don't know, but don't let the clouds hit you, or you'll end up like these students!"

The butterfly symbol appears over Cloud of Doubt's face. He could hear Hawk Moth's voice in his head again

"That's Ladybug and Chat Noir!" They yelled "The earrings and the ring, you need to grab them! Do it, or I will strip you of your powers!"

Cloud of Doubt nodded "Yes, Hawk Moth!" He took a puff of the cigarette stick and blew the smoke at the two heroes. Ladybug got in front of Chat Noir and spun his yoyo around. It acted like a fan and blew the smoke at the Akuma, but he got out of the way before it could touch him

"Looks like the guy can't handle his own smoke!" Chat Noir remarked.

Cloud of Doubt recovers. He's about to make another cloud but paused when he sees Jeremy watching the battle from the doorway instead of hiding. He sneers, "The Miraculous can wait, Hawkmoth!"

Needing a distraction to get out of here, he grabs onto a lunch table, and using his newfound strength caused by the Akuma, hurls it at the two heroes who weren't ready for the attack and get crushed under its weight. Thankfully, the magic from the Miraculous softened the blow a little bit.

When Jeremy sees the enraged look on his Akumatized friend's face, he runs. Cloud of Doubt goes after him.

Chat Noir extends his staff, lifting the table off of him. He helps Ladybug up, "You alright?"

"Yeah, but he's going after Jeremy! I'm gonna try something." He then calls out, "LUCKY CHARM!"

He tosses his yoyo into the air. Red hearts seem to flow out from the yoyo and swirl around. Finally, an object landed in his waiting hands, "... A hose? I guess this'll come in handy later. Let's go!"

Jeremy ran outside the school and found most of the students and faculty who haven't been affected by Cloud of Doubt standing in the parking lot. Police have also arrived on the scene.

"Jeremy!" Christine ran over and engulfed him in a hug, "I thought he got you!"

"No, I'm okay,0 He assures then looks down in shame, "But Michael's after me. I can't blame him."

The young thespian held his hand and game him a sincere look, "Ladybug and Chat Noir will save him. I'm sure of it!"

"Always so optimistic, Christine."

The voice drew the attention of the crowd, making them either run, back away, or be paralyzed with fear.

The police surround him, holding riot shields. One pulls out a bullhorn and yells, "You're coming with us, kid!"

Cloud of Doubt rolls his eyes. Then, after taking a long puff of his cigarette stick, he blew the smoke towards the officers. They try to evade it, but they're too late. Dark clouds have formed over their heads

"AM I REALLY A TRIGGER HAZARD?!"

"I'M GONNA DIE ONE OF THESE DAYS!"

"WILL MY KIDS EVER RESPECT ME?!"

"I COULDN'T EVEN PROTECT MY OWN WIFE!"

Cloud of Doubt walks past the panicking cops and makes his way towards the crowd, but his eyes are settled on Jeremy.

The taller boy was terrified. He couldn't see the kind brown eyes he loved behind that black mask. When or if this is over, he just wants to tell Michael, the real Michael, that he was sorry, and that he lo-

The sound of a yoyo whizzing is heard. Cloud of Doubt barely had any time to react before he felt himself being flung into the wall of the school, making some cracks appear along the solid surface.

Ladybug retracts his yoyo, and turns to the crowd, "Are you guys okay?" A few gave scattered 'Yes,' and 'We're alright.'

"Y... Yeah," Jeremy replied, still shaken up, "Thanks."

"Dude, you are so awesome!" Jake exclaimed, starry-eyed, making Ladybug blush at all this new attention he was receiving.

Jenna holds up her phone to record him "You are so cool!"

"Oh... Thanks!" He heard a crash and remembered Chat Noir. He saw him using his staff to deflect clouds away from himself and a few students who were in the line of fire.

The butterfly symbol appeared over Cloud of Doubt's face again "His Miraculous! The ring! Take it now!"

"Your Miraculous is mine, alley cat!"

Ladybug's eyes wandered to the hose still in his hand. He looks around and from his perspective, everything is grey, except for a few things that glowed red with black spots- An air vent cover on the side of the school, Chat Noir, the hose, and Cloud of Doubt.

Have Chat Noir cataclysm the air vent cover off

Connect the hose to the vent to blast the air out

The smoke will be blown back at Cloud of Doubt

While he's vulnerable, take the cigarette stick, purify the Akuma

Ladybug blinked a few times to adjust his vision, then yelled, "Chat Noir! Use your power on the air vent cover!"

Chat Noir grinned, "I've been waiting for this!" He yelled out, "CATACLYSM!"

As a response to his call, blackness radiated from his clawed gloves. He becomes excited, "Awesome!" He ran towards the vent cover, and reacting to the cataclysm, it turned black and crumbled into dust

"My turn!" Ladybug readied the hose and connected it to the vent. Cloud of Doubt, getting angry, blew more smoke than he's exhaled all day in their direction. Ladybug aimed the end of the hose, and the air from the vent blew the smoke right back to Cloud of Doubt. There was so much that he couldn't dodge it. He dropped to his knees as a dark cloud formed over his head.

"Why am I doing this?"

"Why do I want to hurt him so bad?"

"Am I just holding him back?"

"He apologized, why can't I accept it?"

"Why do I love that asshole?"

Jeremy looked astonished at that last sentence, 'He... Loves me?', he thought.

Chat Noir looked at him with some remorse, then turned to Ladybug "How do we change him back?"

"..."

Ladybug walked over to Cloud of Doubt who was still under the effects of his own powers, then took the cigarette stick out of his hand before snapping it in half. A black butterfly emerged from it.

The Akuma.

'Just catch the black butterfly with your weapon and purify it.' He remembered Tikki saying earlier. He looked at the Akuma, a determined look on his face as he took out his yoyo and said, "No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!"

"Damn," Chat cursed as he rested his head on his staff, "He is so cool."

Ladybug captured the Akuma in his yoyo, then pulled it back, "Gotcha!" The yoyo opened up, and a pure white Butterfly flew up into the sky, "Bye, little butterfly." He tossed the hose into the air and yelled,

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"

The hose exploded into a bright red red. And suddenly, thousands of ladybugs flew around the area, fixing all the damage caused by the Akuma, and getting rid of the dark clouds over everyone's heads, making it look like nothing had happened. Finally, Cloud of Doubt melted away into a black cloud, revealing a very confused Michael Mell with his blunt wrap a few inches away from him.

"What...?" He looks around "What just happened?"

Ladybug and Chat Noir high-fived before turning to him. Ladybug helped him up, "It's alright. You just let your anger get the best of you."

"..." He looks past the two heroes and sees Jeremy, standing awkwardly in the crowd. The two lock eyes for a moment before the taller boy looks away, "Th-thanks... Uh..."

"Ladybug. And this is my partner, Chat Noir."

"THEY BEAT ME?!"

They slammed their cane onto the ground, startling the butterflies once again. A sinister smile then appeared on their face

"No matter, though. One day soon, I will have the Miraculous. I'll get you Ladybug and Chat Noir... Some day..."

When the heroes left after their jewelry made a loud beeping sound, Chloe, Brooke, Jake, Jenna, and Christine crowded around Michael to make sure he was alright.

"Guys, I'm fine."

"No, you're not, man!" Jake yelled, "You turned into like this... Grimm reaper looking guy, and made everyone miserable!"

Michael cringed when he heard what he's done, "Oh my God." He muttered as he hid his face in his hands.

Chloe smacks the back of Jake's head and he realizes what he just said, "Aw, shit. I-I didn't mean it like that. You didn't know what you were doing, right?"

"I can't remember anything." He holds his head

"Not even what you said?" A timid voice asked. Jeremy stepped into his view, a nervous look on his face

"... I remember that ."

Christine ushers for them to leave so Jeremy and Michael can be alone and talk it out. There's only silence for a few seconds until

"... Jer, I-"

"I'm sorry." He cut Michael off then continued, "I know that doesn't make up for what I've done to you, and I don't blame you, I'd hate me too! But I'll do anything to make you forgive me, I just..." Tears stream down his face "I don't wanna lose you, Micah..."

"I don't hate you." He takes Jeremy's hand in his "And I don't wanna lose you, either... I love you..."

When he doesn't respond, Michael starts to cry, thinking Jeremy may not feel the same way, and that he's messed everything up. But then Jeremy hugs him "I love you too."

The two wrap their arms around each other, savoring this moment

It was at this time, Rich walked out of the school, very confused and demanding answers, "Can someone please explain what the fuck just happened?!"

Somewhere in the school, in different rooms, the heroes slumped down to the floor, exhausted. Their Miraculouses beeped before glowing, and their super-suits reverted back to their normal clothes. Their Kwamis flew out of the jewelry

Tikki gushed "I told you you'd make a great Ladybug, Evan!" She hugged his cheek

Evan breathes heavily "Thanks... Tikki. I just wanna go home right now... But what exactly happened to Michael? Why did he turn into... That?"

"It's Nooroo's power. He can give normal people superpowers, and they're loyal to whoever holds the Butterfly miraculous." The Kwami frowns "But whoever has it, is using it for evil, not like you and Chat Noir."

"But why did he-"

"Con, he wasn't in the right state of mind." Plagg explained, "So, whoever has the Butterfly Miraculous took advantage of that."

"That's fucked up." He mutters

"Tell me about it." He changes the subject "So... You into Ladybug or something?"

"Hell yeah." He smiled to himself "There's just something about him."

Students came back to school a week later after the Principal sent them home for what he called a "Week of reflection" A few students affected by the Akuma were even sent to the counselor's office since some of the things they said sounded... Alarming.

Jenna, inspired by the town's new heroes created a blog dedicated to them she called "The Ladyblog". And with Michael's permission, she posted her first video of an Akuma attack and a few pictures of Cloud of Doubt. The blog became an overnight success.

Jeremy and Michael were closer than ever now that they were dating. They haven't felt this happy in a long time.
