After the birth of Dudley's son Harry, Dudley and their families maintained a somewhat awkward, slightly distant but cordial family relationship. Xmas cards were exchanged every year and Harry and his family would make brief visits whenever they were near Little Whinging.
Then in August 2028 Harry got an unexpected message from his cousin.
"Harry, we have a big problem and your advice is needed. Little Vernon has just got a letter from somewhere called Hogwarts..."
