Chapter 1: Truth of the Perk
Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles
Manhole. Two fingers. Manhole.
Gonta had just lifted a manhole with two fingers, which was impressive and scary. I understood now how easily Gonta killed Miu in the game.
"I really need Kokichi to murder someone else" I think to myself.
"Ah, maybe the escape is below!" Kaede exclaimed.
"Or it could lead to nowhere" Himiko moaned.
They were both right, there was an escape but it was laced with so many traps it might as be impossible. But I suppose we have go to through the motions.
"I think it's worth investigating" Shuichi spoke up, "We should go down one at a time." Everyone reluctantly agreed.
As I expected, we were at the entrance which was known as the Death Road of Despair, which the monokubs verified as the escape to the real world.
And as I also expected, nobody was skilled enough to beat the Death Road.
"Pufufu- escape is impossible. The only way out is for you to win the killing game" Monokuma taunted.
"Stop messing around" Kaito threatened while moving to strike the bear. Instinctively, I wrap in Kaito in a lock to stop him.
"Calm down you dimwitted space cowboy" I shouted, "Dying for nothing is not the best course of action."
"She's not wrong" Maki spoke up, "as unfortunate that is."
"What a shame" Kokichi hummed, "Kaede was so excited for a happy ending, but now we're destined to be pitted against each other."
"..." Kaede frowned.
"I'm sure Atua will lead us down the narrow path" Angie said with her prayer gesture.
"Gonta hope so, Gonta don't want anyone to die" Gonta said.
"...At the moment, we should probably meet back at the dining hall" Rantaro sweat-dropped.
Once back, everyone began chatting about the hopeless situation we're in.
"I'm sorry everyone" Kaede apologized, "I thought we could escape together and tunneled on doing the impossible."
"The whole situation reeks of bollocks" I clicked my tongue, "But...I want to believe there is still a way out of this shithole."
"The fact of the matter is that the only known escape route is impossible" Maki commented.
"Well, you can always try to get away with murder, teehee" Kokichi joked.
"Ugh, of course a man thinks of such a grotesque way to win" Tenko piped in.
"...I'm pretty sure his goal is to provoke us" Ryoma sighed.
"Agreed" Kirumi nodded, "In any case, it's getting late. I suggest we call it for the day"
"My golden brain needs to recharge" I yawned, "Maybe we can look into alternatives tomorrow. Bitch out."
As I left the dining hall, I spot Shuichi and Kaede talking to each other.
"So it begins" I think to myself, "I really need to set myself good to take the fall for the first murder, otherwise Kaede will be able to backdoor herself into taking the blame."
I cringed at the thought of dying so soon, but my decision would also change the outcome of the game. Also fuck the deity that put me here for this sick experiment.
Something in the back of my mind told me I was missing an important detail about chapter one.
Rise and Shine, Ursine
"Bloody hell, I forgot about the morning announcements" I cursed under my breath as I stretched from my bed. I casually tuned out the monokubs speech while getting ready for the day, including cleaning up my mess before bed.
As it turns out, I also have Miu's absurd libido. Apparently she needed to release it before bed every night or she wouldn't get a good nights sleep. This also explains the amount of sex related inventions she had around, she never has been boinked before.
Truthfully, this was a major inconvenience since her natural thirst lead to her speech patterns having a dirty joke in between every other thought. Something I was not comfortable with, even to maintain character.
But given I wasn't just Miu Iruma, I am able to maintain some control of my language.
Knock Knock
"Who goes there?" I ask.
"It's me, Keebo" Keebo responded.
"Come in" I announced. The door swung gently, revealing the Ultimate Robot.
"How may the golden hair genius help you?" I asked with a smile.
"Well, I heard you were great AI and what not, so I was wondering if you could help me with something?" Keebo asked.
"And that would be?" I shifted my head
"I was wondering if you could help me understand what it means to be human, truly" Keebo asked. I raised my eyebrow at him before a smirk rose on my face.
"Sure" I answered, "In return, I wish to improve...your assets." I glide my hands across his metallic body, causing him to shiver.
"That...can be arranged but...um...can you stop that?" Keebo sheepishly replied. I laughed before nodding to his request.
"Enough screwing around, let's head to the dining hall" I exclaimed. As we made it to the hall, we were greeted by the conversations of what happened the past day.
Suddenly, Monokuma popped in the middle of the room.
"Pufufufu- I see you guys are still clinging onto the idea that you can all be lovey dovey~ Maybe I should poison the well with a motive?" Monokuma jested.
"Motive?" everyone says in unison.
"A reason to rip and tear into each other, just like first degree murders" Monokuma explained, "A killing game with no killing is boring, so I have to spice things up somehow."
"Fuck that" I exclaim, "What kind of sicko creates such a game?"
"I wonder indeed~" Monokuma hummed, "In any case, I decided a class trial for the first murder won't be necessary, because the blackened will be able to leave after killing someone. A first blood perk if you will."
"First blood perk?" Tsumugi said in soft horror.
"You heard that right" Monokuma replied, "Once the blackened admits to the murder, they will be released into the outside world."
"Right...I forgot about the first blood perk" I thought to myself. This complicates my plans, because it allows me the option of killing Tsumugi and getting away with it. I fulfill the butterfly effect and can chose my next life.
Yet...
Something tells me it won't be that simple, especially since the deity that sent me here is a sadistic piece of shit. So I guess I stick with Rantaro...but maybe I can already throw some breadcrumbs about Tsumugi being the mastermind.
"So...if I kill Tsumugi on the spot in front of everyone I'm free to go?" I said aloud. That got some serious uproar.
"What the hell? You're actually considering murder?" Kaito barked.
"Kehehe...looks like the killing game has already begun" Korekiyo chuckled.
"To think the potty mouth bimbo would say such a thing...interesting" Kokichi pondered. My eye twitched at that comment.
"Gonta mad that Miu would kill friend. Gonta demand apology" Gonta furiously said.
"You're a meany" Himiko whispered.
"Miu..." Shuichi and Kaede grimaced.
"But...But...But why me?" Tsumugi stammered. That comment made me laugh manically.
Gotcha bitch.
"I was just forming an example, Miss Ultimate Virgin" I remarked, "Unless you're hiding a reason for me to actually kill you~"
"N-o-o" Tsumugi sulked. Oh she was scared, for certain. But she must be secretly happy that someone will indeed start the game.
Hell, maybe I won't need to kill Rantaro after all and let paranoia take the first blow.
"I make a great heel" I compliment myself in my mind.
"To answer your question, yes you would be free to go" Monokuma stated, "But you better do it before someone else does~" And with that, Monokuma disappeared from site.
"What an awful turn of events..." Monophanie mumbled.
"Hell yeah! The tension in the room is giving me a raging boner" Monokid exclaimed.
"..." from Monodam.
"Daddy is up to his tricks again" Monotaro sighed.
"Unsurprisingly" Monosuke clicked.
Suddenly, it was just us teenagers in the room.
"I can't believe what you said, Miu" Kirumi spoke up, "I fear you may destroyed any possible harmony with your careless words."
"Tough shit, Poojo" I rebuked, "If someone is going to murder on my words, then that's their problem."
"I thought you sided with Kaede's plan of escaping this nightmare, Iruma" Tenko cried.
"That's fucking impossible now with that kind of motive" I clicked, "Nobody wants to be here and now a "get out of jail" card has been waved in our face. A murder not happening is practically zero."
"Bold claim" Rantaro calmly replied, "But I'm determined to end this game with no bloodshed."
"You can't even remember your talent, how are you suppose to achieve that?" I mocked.
"That's enough" Kaede rebuked, "Look, I know the motive is tempting, but we must remain vigilant and work together. Killing each other is what Monokuma wants."
"Whatevs" I huff, "I've got to go, I have projects that need to be completed. Later losers!"
Before I leave the dining hall, I hear murmurs about how I stirred the pot.
Good.
Now I have to wait for Shuichi and Kaede to approach me about their request for a camera trap; this will be the first step on changing the script.
But how much the script would change wasn't something I could predict.
A/N: Poor Rantaro, he's still dead man walking.
