Welcome back readers! This is the second chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Territory of the Shark! As you expected, this chapter will be Shark vs Yuya! And for OC pairing, I decided to pick Ruri because I think they will be a good pair since Shark and Ruri used Xyz Summoning. And for Shark, Xyz summon wasn't only thing he could. So stay tuned! Once again, Thanks Helios Darkus for your advice!

After taking a hour, Shark and Yuya arrived in Yu Show Duel School.
"Here we are." Yuya said before he releasing the boy's arm.
"We didn't have to run Yuya." Shark panted as he clutched his chest and taking rest. "You almost kill me."
"Oops, sorry about that, I got carried away." Yuya said in embarrassment.
"Whatever, where's the others ?" Shark asked as he looked around the area before seeing them. "Ah, here they are."
"Yuya.. next time.. please don't run too fast." Yuzu panted heavily. Once Yuzu and the other kids recovered their stamina, they entered the main room of Yu Show Duel School as Shark looked around it. For Shark, it was like regular primary school but more futuristic.
"Yuya, Yuzu! Is that you guys!" They heard a man's voice called out, making them turned and see a man who has dark blue eyes and brown/orange hair.
"Yes, it's us, dad!" Said Yuzu.
'Wait.. he is Yuzu's father ?!' Shark thought to himself.
Before Shark speak, Yuzu's father got an uncomfortably close to him.
"I'm Shuzo Hiragi, the Principal of YSDS and Yuzu's father." He introduced himself.
"It was a pleasure to meet you Hiragi-san. I'm Reginald Kessler, but you can call me Shark." Said Shark respectively.
"Oh, don't tell me you're interested in enrolling our school." Shuzo looked so hopeful and probably a little bit desperated for searching a new student. He felt a bad for dashing their hopes. But, he still replied resolutely.
"Sorry, I haven't made a decision yet. But, Yuya and Yuzu asked me to take a tour to your school."
"Oh, in that case, we will give you a tour of the place."
"Thank you. And sorry if I bother you guys." Shark said with conflicted manner.
"Come on Shark! Don't be so shy!" Yuya said with smile on his face.
"Who's this person ?" The bulky young man questioned as the short boy with cyan colored hair followed. "I, the man Gongenzaka, never seen him before."
Shark sweatdropped. 'Is he always said that ? Oh well, maybe a habit..' He thought to himself.
"Hi Gongenzaka, when did you came here ?" Yuya asked his bulky friend. "I hope you aren't waiting for too long."
"No you didn't." Gongenzaka said firmly. "I, the man Gongenzaka, was wondering if my rival would be interested for another friendly match before Maiami Championship."
"Sorry Gongenzaka, another time to duel. For now, I would like you to meet my new friend here." Yuya said as Gongenzaka walked towards the purple haired young man and they shook their hands.
"Hi. My name is Reginald Kessler." Shark introduced himself.
"I, the man Noboru Gongenzaka, Yuya's childhood friend and rival. It's a pleasure to meet you Reginald-san."
"Oh, don't need to be formal Gongenzaka-san. You can call me Shark." He said with a smile.
"Understood. Then, you can call me Gongenzaka."
Then, the cyan haired boy walked towards Shark.
"Hi, I'm Sora Shiunin!" Sora introduced himself.
Shark thought to himself. 'I don't know why, but I felt a bad feeling about this boy.'
"Nice to meet you." Shark replied.
"Do you guys know it ?! Shark nii-chan is an amazing duelist!" Said Ayu happily.
"Yes! He can summon two powerful Xyz monster in one turn and beat Sawatari into a pulp!" Tatsuya added.
"It gave me shivers!" Futhosi excited.
Hearing at the name of Sawatari, Gongenzaka was not pleased. "Is Sawatari bothering you again Yuya ?"
"Yeah, something like that.." Yuya chuckled nervously.
Then Yuya explained Gongenzaka that how they meet Shark and Sawatari wanted to take revenge on Yuya for defeating him but Shark teaching him a lesson by defeating him in a duel with his Xyz monsters.
"So you're an Xyz duelist.. not bad." Said Sora with genuine curiousity.
"I, the man Gongenzaka, really grateful for protecting my friend. Thank you, Shark!" Gongenzaka thanked.
"Don't need to thank me. I just couldn't stay and do nothing when someone getting harrased." Shark said with small smile on his face.
"Say Shark." Sora questioned at Shark. "I haven't seen you around here, are you perhaps out of town ?"
'Okay, he suspecting something about me but I won't blow my cover easily.' Shark thought to himself.
"Yes, I just came to this city not too long before I met Yuya and his friends." Shark answered.
"But what's bring you to Maiami City ?" Shuzo suddenly asked.
"I've been traveling around a lot of the countries and learning the Duel tactic's in one years. However, traveling is a little bit tiring and I decided to stay in Maiami City because this city is beautiful." Shark explained.
"What about your parents ? They didn't mind on you ?" Yuzu asked.
Shark was looking down on the floor, looking sad. "I'm an orphan. When I was 7 years old, my parents died in a car ancident."
Yuzu widened her eyes as she covered her mouth with her hands, much to everyone surprise.
"I'm sorry to hear about your parents." Yuzu apologized in regretful.
"It's okay. That's just some bad memories for me." Shark stated.
"Anyway Shark, what do you think ? Would you like to be Yu Show's new student ?" Shuzo asked with hope in his eyes.
"Hmm.. I will join. But, if one of the students duel me to show me their belief in dueling." Shark replied.
"Alright then! The only thing remaining is a proper opponent!" Shuzo announced.
Hearing this, Sora was eager to participated. He wanted to see this Xyz's duelist power beforehand. Gongenzaka seemed voluntary too. Even he wasn't a member of Yu Show, he still thought himself as a big part of the school.
"I will be your opponent. Since we are the ones who found you, it should be my job to impress you with my entertaiment duel." Yuya proudly said.
"Yuya.." Yuzu whispered.
'This is getting interesting.' Sora thought to himself.
"Then it's settled! Prepare for a hot-blooded duel!" Shuzo said before rushing to the control room.
The two duelist moved to the Real Solid Vision arena while Yuzu, Sora and the kids moved to spectator area while Shuzo was preparing action field.
"Have you been in an action duel before, Shark ?" Yuya asked.
"No, I haven't." Shark answered as Yuya and Shark's duel disks activated and Shark placed D-Gazer in his left eye.
"Since this is Shark first action duel, I will pick this! Field Spell: Legendary Ocean! On!" Shuzo yelled as the whole arena transformed a Large City in depth of the sea.
"This is a Field Spell ?" Shark said in confusion as he looked surrounding area.
"Nope. This is action field. There are no boost or effects to support a monsters, it just a Real Solid Vision and everything turned into reality." Yuya explained.
"I see. This action field matches definitely my tastes." Shark replied.
"Glad you like it!" Yuya said with a smile before start chanting. "Duelist locked in battle!"
Shark tilted his head. "What are you doing ?"
"This is action duel chant. Now, just follow me." Yuya answered.
"I see." Shark replied.
"Kicking the earth and dancing in the air with their monsters!" Yuya and Shark chanting together.
"They strom thought the field!" Yuzu joined in.
"Behold! The newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Sora and Gongenzaka also joined in.
"Action.." The kids said enthusiastically before everyone yelled.

"You can go first Shark." Yuya offered.
"If you insist Yuya. My turn!" Shark accepted, before looking at the cards in his hand.
"I summon Hammer Shark in attack mode." Shark announced as Hammer Shark appeared on the field.
Hammer Shark ( ATK 1700/DEF 1500, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"He used Shark monster cards.. no wonder he called himself Shark." Sora said.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn. Now, it's your turn." Shark said.

"Alright! It's my turn! Draw!" Yuya declared as he draw one card from his deck.
Shark: 4000 x3
Yuya: 4000 x6
"I summon Performapal Whip Snake in attack mode." Then perfornapal Whip Snake appeared on the field.
Performapal Whip Snake ( ATK 1700/DEF 900, Reptile/Earth/LV: 4 )
"I activated Whip Snake's effect! Once per turn, I can target one face-up monster to switch it's ATK and DEF until the end of the turn." Then Whip Snake use hypnotism on Hammer Shark, make it grunted in dizziness.
Hammer Shark ( ATK 1700/DEF 1500 - ATK 1500/DEF 1700 )
"Hammer Shark ATK is now 1500." Ayu said happily.
"With this, Yuya nii-chan's Whip Snake can attack Hammer Shark." Tatsuya added.
"Shivers!" Futoshi cheered.
Then Yuya tried to find action cards. Once he found one, he activated immeditely. "Action magic, High Dive! My monster gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn!" Yuya explained.
"Action Magic ?" Shark said.
"These card are special, they scattered around the action field with various effects." Yuya explained.
"I see." Shark nodded in understanding.
"Battle! Performapal Whip Snake attack your Hammer Shark!" Yuya declared as Whip Snake dashed towards Hammer Shark.
"I don't think so Yuya. Trap card open, Poseidon Wave! If my opponent declared an attack, I can negate the attack. Futhermore, I can inflict 800 damage for each Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua monster I controls."
Then Poseidon appeared and washed Whip Snake to Yuya with his water hands and hit Yuya with it.
"Heh. Nice counter Shark. I set two cards facedown and end my turn. And Whip Snake ATK return to normal and your Hammer Shark ATK return to normal." Yuya said.

"My turn! Draw!" Shark declared as he draw one card from his deck. He looked at the card he draw.

"I activated Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck." Shark draw two more cards from his deck.

"I activated Hammer Shark effect! I can reduce Hammer Shark level by one and Special Summon Level 3 or lower WATER monster. I Special Summon Drill Barnacle!" Then Drill Barnacle appeared on the field.

"He had two level 3 monster, that means.." Yuya said quietly before he realized what Shark do next.
"I overlay my level 3 Hammer Shark and level 3 Drill Barnacle! Be born! The Emperor Dragon of the sea! Xyz Summon! Rank 3! Leviathan Dragon!"
Leviathan Dragon ( ATK 2000/DEF 0, Dragon/Water/RK: 3/OVU: 2 )

"Sir, we detected a strong summoning energy! It's same as earlier!" Nakajima remarked.
"Do we know where it come from ?" The youth whose name Reiji asked.
"It's from Yu Show Duel School." The picture showed an Action Duel between Yuya and Shark.
"It's that new duelist! The one who beat Sawatari!"
"Furthermore, he's dueling with Yuya Sakaki. With this, we can collect data on his Pendulum Summoning while observing this "New Individual"." Reiji announced.
Yu Show Duel School.
"It's Shark nii-chan's Xyz monster!" Three kids yelled in excited.
"He actually perform Xyz Summon." Gongenzaka and Sora noted.
"That was impressive Xyz monster Shark!" Yuya said with impressed.
"Well thank you Yuya. I activated Leviathan Dragon effect! By detaching one overlay unit, Leviathan Dragon gains 500 ATK." Shark said as Leviathan Dragon absorb one of it's overlay unit.

"2500 ATK ?!" Yuya exclaimed in surprise.
"Battle! Leviathan Dragon attack Whip Snake!" Shark declared as Leviathan Dragon unleashed it's attack to Whip Snake.
"I won't let you! Trap card open, Defense Draw! I can reduced battle damage to 0 and I draw one card." A rainbow barrier protect Yuya from shockwave as Whip Snake destroyed and Yuya draw a card.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Shark said.

"It's my turn! Draw!" Yuya declared as he draw one card from his deck before smiling widely. "It's here!"

"Ladies and gentleman!" Yuya announced loudly. "Behold the newest style of dueling!"
'What is he doing ?' Shark thought to himself.
"Do it Yuya nii-chan!" Ayu said happily.
"With the scale 1 Stargazer Magician and scale 8 Timegazer Magician I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya said as Timegazer and Stargazer being surrounded in pillars of light as they rise up and large version of Yuya's pendant appeares between them.

Timegazer Magician ( ATK 1200/DEF 600, Spellcaster/Dark/LV: 3/PS: 8 )
"Pendulum ?!" Shark said in disbelief.
"It's coming! His Pendulum Summoning!" Sora said in excitement.
"Pendulum! Pendulum!" Three kids chanted.
"Swing, Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arclight across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" Yuya chanted as a portal appears overhead and two lights burst out.
"Meet Performapal Sword Fish!"
Performapal Sword Fish ( ATK 600/DEF 600, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
" And the wondrous dragon with dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Then the dragon with dual colored eyes appeared on the field.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ( ATK 2500/DEF 2000, Dragon/Dark/LV: 7/PS: 4 )
"You used Pendulum Summon huh ?" Shark stuttered.
"Yeah! It's a summoning left by my father!" Yuya responded with a smile.
'So, in this world, Pendulum was a new whole summoning method.' Shark thought to himself before he staring at Odd-Eyes. 'That dragon must be his ace monster.. I wonder how they will react to Shark Drake, Abyss Splash or Silent Honor ARK.'
"I activated Sword Fish effect! When Sword Fish is summoned, it can reduce your monster ATK by 600 points." Then a copy of Sword Fish attack Leviathan Dragon as Leviathan Dragon grunted in pain.
Leviathan Dragon ( ATK 2500 - ATK 1900 )
'I better find action cards.' Shark thought before he began searching action card.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attack Leviathan Dragon! Spiral Strike Burst!" Odd-Eyes fired it's Spiral Stream at Leviathan Dragon.
"Action Magic: Evasion! I negate the attack!" Shark stated.
"Stargazer Magician's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, during my battle phase, when Spell card is activated, I can negate the activation and set that card and it cannot be activated until the end of this turn!" Yuya explained.
"What ?!" Shark surprised.
The action card destroyed because Yuya's magician pendulum effect as Odd-Eyes attacked but, to much everyone surprise, Leviathan Dragon still on the field.

"What ?! But how.." Yuya said in disbelief.
"Leviathan Dragon can only be destroyed by Xyz monster." Shark explained.

"That's some powerful effect." Nakajima noted.
"It seems so." Reiji added. 'But the question is: Does he come from Xyz Dimension or he's a spy that Academia sent ?'
Yu Show Duel School.
"I never heard that effect.." Sora muttered in surprise.
"This is Shark's power." Gongenzaka added.
"Now what will you do Yuya ?" Shark asked.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Yuya stated.

"My turn! Draw!" Shark declared as he draw one card from his deck. He looked at the card before he smirked.

"Well Yuya, since you showed me your ace monster, it's time to show mine!" Shark declared as everyone widened their eyes in surprise.
'Shark ace monster ?' Yuya thought to himself.
"First, I activated a Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck." Shark stated as he draw two more cards from his deck.

"I activated a Spell Card, Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two cards from my hand to the graveyard." Shark declared as he draw three more cards from his deck and discard two cards from his hand to the graveyard.

"Continous trap open, Call of the Haunted! I can Special Summon one monster from the graveyard an equip it to that monster! I special summon Lantern Shark!" Then Lantern Shark appeared on the field.
Lantern Shark ( ATK 1500/DEF 900, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Lantern Shark effect! When Lantern Shark is summoned, I can Special Summon level 3 to 5 WATER monster from my hand. I Special Summon Saber Shark!" Then Saber Shark appeared on the field.
Saber Shark ( ATK 1600/DEF 1200, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"When I summoned a Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua monster, I can Special Summon Shark Sticker from my hand! Let's go, Shark Sticker!" Then Shark Sticker appeared on the field.
Shark Sticker ( ATK 200/DEF 1000, Fish/Water/LV: 3 )
"Saber Shark effect! Twice per turn, I can target one Fish-type monster on the field, and increased or decreased that monsters by 1. I target Shark Sticker and increased it's level by 1." Shark declared.
Shark Sticker ( LV: 3 - LV: 4 )
"Three monsters level 4.." Yuya said curiously. "Is he going for it ?"
"I overlay my level 4 Saber Shark, Lantern Shark and Shark Sticker! The most powerful ruler of the deep sea! Your sharp fangs shall exerminate everything! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Shark Drake!"
Shark Drake ( ATK 2800/DEF 2100, Sea Serpent/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 3 )
Shark's ace looked like of a two legged dark red sea serpent with four wings like fins on each side.
"Shark.. Drake.." Yuzu said in astonishment.
"So that's Shark's ace monster." Gongenzaka and Sora muttered.
"And when I thought Odd-Eyes was cool." Yuya muttered in mix of awe and jealousy.
"SHIVERS!" Futoshi exclaimed.
"Shark's ace monster is awesome!" The two other kids cheered.
LDS Office.
"President! The energy coming from that Xyz monster is incredibly powerful!" Nakajima remarked in a panicked.
Reiji who looked confused. 'Just who is this guy ? Not even my strongest Xyz monster can produce such an energy and I don't think any people from Xyz Dimension would come close.
'
Yu Show Duel School.
And then something strange happened, Shark's Shark Drake and Yuya's Odd-Eyes started to resonated.
"What are Yuya and Shark's monster doing ?" Yuzu asked in confusion.
"Maybe they recognized themself as rivals." Gongenzaka speculated.
'That strange.. This is the first time I saw Shark Drake and Odd-Eyes calling each other.' Shark muttered curiously.
"Battle! Shark Drake attack your Sword Fish! Deep Sea Destruction!" Shark Drake unleashed it's attack to Sword Fish.
Yuya was found an Action Card. But, it was too late as Shark Drake attack destroyed Sword Fish.
"Ugh!" Yuya grunted in painful.

"Yuya!" Everyone yelled in worried.
"I'm not done yet! Shark Drake effect! When Shark Drake is destroyed a monster by battle, I can detach one overlay unit to Special Summon that monster back to the field, but 1000 ATK weaker!" Then Sword Fish appeared on the field once again but weaker.
Shark Drake ( OVU: 3 - 2 )
Performapal Sword Fish ( ATK 600 - ATK 0 )
"There's once more! After that monster revived back, Shark Drake can attack again once more!" Shark declared as everyone looked in shock.
"What ?!" Yuya exclaimed in shocked.
"That's some powerful effect.." Sora muttered.
"It's over Yuya! Leviathan Dragon attack Sword Fish! Shock Stream Blast!" Leviathan Dragon unleashed it's attack towards Sword Fish.
"Action Magic: Damage Banish! All battle damage reduced to 0!" Yuya countered.
A barrier protect Yuya from shockwave as Sword Fish destroyed into pieces.
"Shark Drake attack Odd-Eyes! Deep Sea Destruction!" Shark command as Shark Drake charge towards Odd-Eyes.
"Action Magic: Evasion! I negate your attack!" Yuya countered.
"Sorry Yuya, but Action Magic: No Action! I negate your Action Card!" Shark countered back as Yuya stepped back a bit.
"Odd-Eyes!" Yuya said as he stepped back a bit as Odd-Eyes destroyed.

"I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Shark stated.
Shark looked up only to see Yuya feeling down because his ace monster getting destroyed so easily. He hated to seeing someone feeling down. So he needed to motivated him.
"Yuya!" Shark called him which make him turning on him.
"A duel isn't over until the last card is drawn! So get up and believe in your deck! If you believe your deck, it will answer you!" Shark told him in 'Yugi' way.
Yuya listened every word very carefully and slowly stood up with a smile on his face.
"You're right Shark. If I believe in my deck, they will answered me." Yuya said as he draw.

"He surely knows how to motivated someone." Sora said with a smile.
"He does." Yuzu added as Shuzo and Gongenzaka were crying waterfalls.
"That's right! Show us your hot-blooded duel Yuya!"
"I, the man Gongenzaka, has never been so touched as today."
Yuya looked at the card before he smiled widely.
"It seems you got it. Now, show me your power Yuya!" Shark said with a little smile on his face.
"Count on me Shark!" Yuya stated. "First, I activated a Spell Card, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck." Yuya said as he draw two more cards from his deck.

"Then, it's time for Pendulum Summon again! Come forth, my monsters!" An oversized Pendulum swing once again, three beams of light burst out from the portal.
"From my hand, we have Performapal Drumming Kong and Performapal Partnaga. And from the extra deck, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Then the monsters appeared on the field.
Performapal Drumming Kong ( ATK 1600/DEF 900, Beast/Earth/LV: 5/PS: 2 )
Performapal Partnaga ( ATK 500/DEF 2100, Reptille/Earth/LV: 5/PS: 3 )
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ( ATK 2500/DEF 2000, Dragon/Dark/LV: 7/PS: 4 )
"Performapal Pertnaga effect! When Partnaga is summoned, I can target one monster on my field and that monster gains 300 ATK for each "Performapal" monster I controls. I target Odd-Eyes and since I have two "Performapal" monster, Odd-Eyes gains 600 ATK!" Yuya explained as Odd-Eyes roared in powerful.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ( ATK 2500 - ATK 3100 )
"Well played Yuya." Shark said with impressed. "But Shark Drake can only be destroyed by Xyz monster."
"Don't worry about that. I got this." Yuya said sheepishly as he jumped on his dragon's back. "I activated a Equip Spell, Rainbow Veil! I equip it to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Due of it's effect, the effect of all your monsters are negate during my battle phase only." Then Odd-Eyes was surrounded by rainbow aura.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attack Shark Drake! Spiral Strike Burst!" Another spiral energy was shot from Odd-Eyes's jaws.
"At this moment, Performapal Drumming Kong effect! Once per turn, when my monsters battle, it gains 600 ATK until the end of this turn! So Odd-Eyes gains 600 ATK!" Yuya explained.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon ( ATK 3100 - ATK 3700 )
"3700 ATK!" The three kids exclaimed happily.
"Yuya is now getting the upper hand." Sora concluded.
"Trap card open, Poseidon Wave! If my opponent declared an attack, I can negate the attack. Futhermore, I can inflict 800 damage for each Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua monster I controls!" Shark countered.
"Timegazer Magician Pendulum effect activates! Once per turn, I can negate your trap card and reset it." Yuya countered as Shark Drake destroyed. But, to much everyone surprise, Shark smirked.

"Got you."
"What ?!" Yuya exclaimed in surprise.
"Second trap open, Xyz Reborn! I can Special Summon one Xyz monster from my graveyard and attach this card as it's overlay unit! Come back, Shark Drake!" Then Shark Drake back to the field.
Shark Drake ( ATK 2800/DEF 2100, Sea Serpent/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 1 )

"I don't think so Yuya. Final trap open, Xyz Sacrifice! If an Xyz monster I controls is targeted for attack, I can tribute another monster I controls and if I do, that Xyz monster gains original ATK of that tributed monster. I tributed Leviathan Dragon and Shark Drake gains original attack of Leviathan Dragon which is 2000 ATK!" Shark countered.

"4800 ATK ?!" Yuya exclaimed in surprise.
"Now what will you do Yuya ?" Shark asked.
"I end my turn. And Odd-Eyes ATK returns." Yuya stated.

"My turn! Draw!" Shark stated as he draw.

"I'll end this Yuya! I activated a Quick-Play Spell, Mystical Space Typoon! I can destroy your spell/trap. I destroy your facedown card." Shark said as Yuya's facedown card is destroyed.
"What ?!" Yuya exclaimed in surprise.
"This is definitely win for Shark." Sora muttered.
"This is the end! Shark Drake attack Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Deep Sea Destruction!" Shark command.
"Drumming Kong's effect! Odd-Eyes gains 600 ATK!" Yuya countered.

"Still not enough Yuya! Shark said.
"I know! That's why I activated Action Magic: Evasion! I negate your attack!" Yuya countered.
"Action Magic: No Action! I negate your Action Card!" Shark countered as Yuya's action cards vanished.
"What ?!"
"End this Shark Drake! Deep Sea Destruction!" Shark Drake charge towards Odd-Eyes as Odd-Eyes destroyed.
"Ahhhhhh!" The entertainer screamed before falling on his back.

The action field faded, Shark looked up to see Yuya on the floor with his friends gathering around him.
"You alright Yuya ? I think I got carried away." Shark asked him, corcerned about his state.
"Nah, it's fine." Yuya got helped from Yuzu to get up again which he only responded by smile. Shark, who saw the scene, instinctively asked the question.
"Are you boyfriend and girlfriend perhaps ? You two seem really close."
"I know right ? It's also what I thought the first time I met them." Sora added.
At Shark question, the two started to be a red as tomatoes.
"Why would you say that ? Yuya and I just friends." Yuzu shyly said.
"Yeah! Why would I want to date a rude strong girl like her." Yuya said pointing at Yuzu.
At that Yuya's comment, Shark slapped his face with his hand. 'Seriously Yuya ? Well, you better prepare for the worst.' Shark thought to himself with arms crossed.
As completing Shark prediction, a big 'SMACK' was heard. Yuya was sent to the floor by a very angry Yuzu holding her paper fan.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT TO YOUNG LADY YOU JERK!" Yuzu yelled.
'Really need to know where she hide that fan..' Shark thought, hopefully will found out one day.
"S-sorry Yuzu." Yuya apologized, rubbing his head.
"So does that mean Shark won't join our school ?" Ayu said with sad look.
"Who said I won't ?" Shark told them as they looked at Shark with surprised.
"Really ? But why ? It's not that I'm complaining but didn't Yuya needed to beat you to make you join ?" Yuzu asked.
"If you remember correctly, that wasn't the agreement." Shark told them, only to make them more confused. "The point was to show your belief on dueling."
"Our belief on dueling ?"
"That's right. Having fun in dueling is a thing that a lot of people forgets and only duels for win. I, myself, almost forgot the last time I duel for fun. You, Yuya, reminded me what a duel is truly about. Only for that, I will join Yu Show Duel School." Shark said firmly.
At Shark declaration, the kids cheered and Shuzo crying waterfalls (again).
"That's truly a hot-blooded answer Shark!" The principal said, still crying waterfalls.
"I, the man Gongenzaka, really touched by your words. You have my deepest respects." The man said with slight tears on his eyes.
"Well Shark, let me be the first one to welcome you to You Show Duel School." Yuya said extending his hand, which Shark accepted.
"Thank you Yuya." Shark said with a small smile on his face.
LDS Office.
Reiji hummed while reclining into his chair.
"He certainly knows how to give motivating speeches, doesn't he ?" Nakajima asked.
"He does." Reiji replied. "The energy coming from his Xyz Summoning is very powerful, even more than Academia's Fusion Summoning and I don't feel any hatred nor evil in his duel which seriously decreased the probability as Academia's spy. He maybe from Xyz Dimension but we cannot say for sure. If he does, he probably come here for searching any help since Xyz Dimension is burn to the ground. Having a duelist like him will be an excellent addition to the Lancers. However, I don't think he used his true potential."
"How can you be so sure President ?"
"I simply have a feeling, that his true powers has yet to be seen. I will duel him myself to see if I'm right about this." Reiji stood up before he looked at the picture of Shark as he though.
'Just where are you from, Reginald Kessler ?'
Yu Show Duel School.
Once the duel was over, Shark signed the papers Shuzo gave him. After that, Shark and the others discussing about random things until Sora asked Shark something.
"So Shark, why did you choose Xyz deck ?"
"I think they are best suited for me. I know how to Fusion and Synchro Summon but Xyz remains my favorite. But of course, we all have our preferences." Shark replied as Sora nodded in understatement.
"Oh didn't see it was already late. I should back to the dojo." Gongenzaka then turned to Shark. "It was a pleasure to meet you Shark. See you tomorrow. Good night everyone!" Then he left.
"Good night Gongenzaka!" Everyone said goodbye to the man.
"So Shark, what are you going to do now ?" Yuya asked.
"I need to find a place to stay." Shark answered.
"You don't have a place to stay ?" Yuzu asked.
"Nope. I was about to find one but Sawatari and his goons showed up and I totally forgot about that." Shark answered.
"Then why don't you stay at my house ?" Yuya asked.
"Sorry Yuya, I don't want to bother you." Shark said to him.
"Don't worry about it, it's not big deal. My mom won't mind." Yuya said with a smile.
"Hmm.. okay then."
Then Shark and the others went to their home. Shark and Yuya just arrived at Yuya's house, passing the door as they heard a female voice from the kitchen.
"Yuya! Is that you ?"
Then the figure show up. It was a fairly tall and youthful looking woman with green eyes and long blonde hair with front golden bangs.
"Yes mom, it's me. I also brought a guest. Shark, meet me mom. Mom, Shark." Yuya introduced Shark to his mom.
"Nice to meet you." She told Shark with a small smile.
"She is your mother Yuya ? I though she is your big sister since how young and pretty he looks." Shark said honestly.
The words young and pretty makes Yuya's mom jumped on Shark and hugged him very tightly.
"Oh my! What an gentleman you are to call someone like me young and pretty!"
"Mom please! He's only 16!" Yuya begged to his mom.
"Oh right. Sorry." Then Yuya's mom quickly released Shark from hugging.
"Thank you. So mom, Shark don't have a place to live so I though he can stay with us." Yuya explained to his mom.
"Of course! He can stay as long as he wants! I will finished a dinner for you two okay ?"
"Thank you Mrs. Sakaki, I'll do my best to not burden anyone in your house." Shark said respectively.
"You're so nice Shark-kun! I happy knowing Yuya has great friends like you. And you can just call me Yoko." Yoko said happily.
After Dinner.
"I'll show you my room Shark. I'm more than willing to share." Yuya said.
"Are you sure Yuya ? I don't mind sleeping on the couch." Shark asked.
"Don't be to shy Shark. I really don't mind." Yuya replied.
"If you say so.." Shark said casually as he though about something. 'Why all my Number monster doesn't have Number on it ? Maybe because in this world Astral and Barians world doesn't exist. I'm lucky that I still have my 3 aces.' And after that, he's started asleep.
