It was a usual weekday morning at the firm, the bullpen was buzzing but the indistinguishable noises coming from all the direction as Rachel passed through it but suddenly one clear voice brought her feet to a halt. Yes it was Harvey. He was shouting on Mike in the corridor.

" What do you think you were doing in there? How could you be so careless?"

" Harvey please listen to me" Mike requested. "It was.."

" Mike how many times I have told you I don't care for your excuses, I need you to be impeccable in your work. When you make mistake I come out badly. And I absolutely hate that. "

"But.."

" Do you know what could have happened today? We could have lost the client. Jessica won't be too happy about this. Till when would I need to defend you in front of her. You are always creating some or the other trouble you let the accused leave, you almost botch the launch,or something else. Just get your sh*t together, I told you I need a grown god damn man. " Harvey finished and stormed into his office.

Leaving Mike stading looking guilty, sad and slightly enraged.

Rachel too stood there looking at the boyish face. It was times like this when Rachel always felt sad and wished she could help him in making all this right for him. But it was out of her hand suddenly she heard some whispering and turned around to see kyle and his idiot friends peaking and giggling at the scene like a bunch of teenagers. Mike too never bothered to make friends, not after the first time he tried but it fell flat, and things kept getting worse with Mike's each victory and especially after the mock trial after which Kyle was so sure that he would replace Mike but that didn't happen and now he almost daily would deal with some or the other taunt, insult or prank by some of the associates.

Mike while always been awesome self pissed off a lot of other associates. When Harvey was promoted and a position for his associate opened up all the associates wanted it. Harvey being the best closer has a starling reputation and being his associate would mean glory. But Harvey never even bat an eye on any of them and Harvey being Harvey he had also called may of them colorful names like clowns or incompetent fools on their face when the associates tried to approach him. So when Mike stepped his feet in the firm he was bound to be the most hated one, he was the golden boy. Mike's... Well lack of well built personalities and cheap suits didn't help. Mike spe

She nodded and moved to the copy room to finish her own work as she knew going to him now with all of them watching would mean even more taunts for Mike.

She returned from the copy room in about 20 minutes line had been long, when she heard the nasal voice of Louise shouting on mike as he stood there trying to explain something.

But the session was seemingly at its end all she could make out was Mike had lost something and Louis had given hime impossibly small deadline for doing it again along with a huge pile of work he had just dumped on him.

She immediately scanned and saw same group of idiots sniggering behind their palms.

She felt something was wrong but immediately shuffled from their as she saw Louis coming towards her.

She got busy with work after going to her office, it was lunch when she thought of Mike again. She thought to take him for a short lunch to cheer him up. She went to his desk but found him missing. She turned to see Donna leaving and assumed he might be with Harvey. So she started leaving but on her way she heard Kyle talking to his friends.

All of them were laughing " It was so funny did you see his face?" Kyle said ridiculously imitating Mike's sad face as all laughed.

" I have to admit Kyle this was the best one yet" Greg added. " He got double smash from Harvey and Louis."

She knew it!

" By the way where is Mike I thought he would be completing Louis's work" one of the other associate asked

" Fishing for his things" Kyle added in between the laughs.

" Oh where did you keep all the things that we stole from his desk?"

Now it all made sense these idiots have hidden Mike's stuff including the work he completed for Harvey and Louis. She was going to go and shout on them when she heard...

" Oh the prank isn't over yet i kept all the things in a box and kept on the top of the one of the old high shelves we have in the library." Kyle laughed " and guess what i glued the box to the shelf"

" You idiots" she shrieked and ran towards the library.

She had hardly reached there when she saw the thing she feared. Everything felt like in slow motion. Mike was on high end of the ladder trying to reach the lift the box. He suddenly yanked it and the old shelf which was not very stable one started to fall on him. She ran trying to hold the shelf. She stood against shelf hoping to atleast slow it down. She closed the eyes in the fear.

After moments she realised she had held it was havy but she could hold it. She opened her eyes only to see Harvey standing against the shelf and holding most of the weight. His muscles clearly visible even under the 3 peice suit. After a moment few other people too came there and helped them straighten the shelf back up. She heaved a sigh but saw Harvey rushing towards something. It suddenly occurred to her Mike!

She ran there was a huge crowd gathered around them. She made her way through. She saw Harvey immediately slid beside Mike and placed his head on his lap.

" Mike ! Mike! Open your eyes kiddo " Mike had apparently fallen and hit his head on something it was bleeding profusely and his right arm was dangling in a weird angle. " Mike!" Harvey again called louder this time this was the first time in 5 years of working at Pearson Hardman she had seen fear in those eyes. " Mike!" When they a heard small groan

"Harv... Aargh" Mike held his left shoulder.

Harvey immediately picked Mike up and moved towards his office. Not caring for half the firm standing there gawking at the scene. He moved inside the office just giving the look to Donna who ushered everyone away except her.

She realised Harvey's glass was office was suddenly. Opaque. " Paramedics will be here in 15" was the last thing she heard before the door closed. Shestood there for a few moments and then moved towards her office.

She was sitting in the office rewinding the whole scene when a furious Harvey barged in.

He was almost red with anger " i want to know what happened" he growled.

" I... they..."

"Now!" She shouted. Rachel was shaken to the core she had never seen him this angry before Not even after his fights with Louis.

She told him everything she heard. " I just heard and ran as i knew old shelves were not bolted to the ground and are not very stable. " She completed. Apparently he had heard her shriek and saw her running and followed her to the library.

He just turned around and walked straight off she too followed him. Harvey's eyes were shooting fires.

Louis he roared as they entered the bullpen. The junior partner rushed to him leaving behind the scared looking group of associates he was scolding.

" Kyle, gregory ..." He whispered the names dangerously, Louis nodded and he turned around and made a beeline route to his office.

"Harvey" Jessica called him. " Jessica " he started angrily but she cut him off. She came near them just acknowledge her with a passing gaze and then started talking.

" I know, just want to know what are you going to do now?" Harvey seemed a bit calm in front of Jessica.

" After what they did to my Mike atleast an 80." Even Jessica seemed shocked at hearing My Mike.

" Harvey" she said in her soothing voice " I know what they did to the the kid is unacceptable but you can't go beyond a 60."

"But Jessica"

" Harvey please I know this is personal to you but this firm has some policies. And before you start it is not open for negotiations. I am not a client to be closed." Harvey seemed offended but nodded. "Ok you can have Donna add something." She whispered lighting up Harvey's eyes he nodded and turned to leave. " And have Louis throw in the puch from my side as well. " She added naughtily before leaving.

Now this was the Harvey Spectre she knew confident walk, charisma to own the place, and an evil smirk to burn them down to hell.

The next 2 months were worse than hell for Kyle and his friends.

She had watched him rain fire on those associates but from other side of the glass. Donna had invited her to listen in with her .

" Do you have any idea what you have done. In addition to almost losing the client because you hid the paperwork, If i hadn't been there you could have killed my associate. If anything happened to my associate god help you i would sue you so hard that no lawyer will be able to save you from spending your time stairing at the prison bars." Associates gulped in fear. (They all knew Mike being Mike would never sue these people)

" If it were up to me you would be out on the streets by now. But for now you are given 2 weeks suspension without pay."

"But"

"Want 3?" Gregory shut his mouth back nodding no. " In addition to that all the medical help Mike will be needing will be coming out of your pay checks in addition to 10% cut for mental assault caused by you. And all his work for next two months will be done by you. If I find as small as a punctuation mistake..."

After getting scolded for an hour by Harvey and with a warning if any of them even tease Mike again they wouldn't even be able to dream of setting foot in any of the law firm in New York.

They were handed over tripple work each everyday by Louis in addition to their normal ones and Mike's. Among all this it was Donna who made them most miserable every other day something about one of them would become public knowledge or they would pranked and video would go viral. Or they would stuggle to get smallest of the things like coffee for the whole day.

Rachel really felt sorry for the group by the end of it. Mike came to office almost everyday after the first week but had strict instructions not to work Donna would be mother henning him all day and he spent most time just bouncing off ideas with Harvey in his office. He was mainly there as Harvey didn't trust him alone at home after all the accident was pretty bad he had fallen off great height hit the table before meeting the floor and had few heavy books fall on him. Mike had broken hand, 2 fractured ribs, a concussion and a sprained ankle. But it was not all bad Rachel saw how caring Donna and Harvey have become, he even had started taking healthier meals, proper rest and mostly he seemed happy.

Harvey had also put in some for her she was getting better cases than ever from many of the senior partners she even got a chance to work with Jessica. Things were really starting to look sunny...
