"Lenya! Get your head out of the clouds and come help with the ship!" Visenyas head snaps up, from where she had been staring out at the water lost in her memories. She turns to look at the man who called her name, Davos Seaworth, the man who saved her that night, and brought her to safety. The man who looked Stannis Baratheon in the eye, the brother of the usurper and told him that Visenya is his daughter, her name is Lenya, and her mother died in childbirth. Stannis Baratheon never questioned it. Never questioned that Lenya had blonde hair, Targaryen hair, because other lines have mixed with Targaryens in the past, and had some Targaryen features. Visenya, thankfully did not inherit the Targaryen eyes, purple like an amethyst. That would have been something unexplainable. Only true Targaryens had the purple eyes. Pure blooded Targaryens, of which she is one, but the purple eyes had skipped. Her brothers Rhaegar and Viserys had purple eyes, as did her sister Daenerys, leaving Visenya to become the oddball. She is now 18, a woman, and Davos had been her father for 13 years, raising her and loving her as if she was his own daughter. He had turned down many marriage requests for her hand as he could not trust that if it was discovered that she is not Lenya Seaworth, that they would not kill her or turn her over to the usurper Robert Baratheon. Davos had raised her, risking his life for her for 13 years and she loved him for it. Loved him more than she loved her true father Aerys.

"Lenya!" She heard her father scream again.

"Coming father!" She raced up the docks to assist her father with loading the ship when she almost crashed into Stannis Baratheon.

"Oh, I'm sorry my lord."

"No worries my dear. Sounds like your father is cross. Were you day dreaming again Lenya?"

"Yes sir. I could not help it. The waves are beautiful as always."

"Lenya! Dammit girl where did you get off to now- Oh Stannis, I did not realize my daughter was with you."

"It is no trouble my friend. You know I love Lenya as you love Shireen."

"Yes Stannis I do know that. Although it does make me wonder."

"Wonder what my friend?"

"Why are you insisting on this excursion North? You know my opinion on my daughter marrying for love and not duty. We are a minor house. My daughter will marry for love, for happiness."

"Davos, my friend, peace. Lenya does not have to marry the young Stark, but I do believe they will get along well. I have heard the young Stark is handsome, and charming. He would be lucky if our Lenya, decides she likes him, but it is entirely Lenyas choice. Besides she has never seen the beauty of the North of anything more than the Southern Seas. This will be good for her."

Visenya looks between her father and Stannis, who had been an uncle to her for almost as long as shes known him. This argument has been brought up several times between her father and Stannis. Stannis, at the beseechment of his dear brother Robert, suggested marrying off a Baratheon supporter to the oldest son of his dear friend, Eddard Stark. Robert wanted Robb Stark to marry Myrcella, but Cersei Lannister put her foot down and refused to consider it, so Robert turned to his brother who made the suggestion of his friends daughter, but he would not command her to marry the young Stark boy, and that if Robert tried to force them, Stannis would stand against it as my liege lord. Robert left it to their discretion at this point. His only demand was that I meet Robb, spend time with him, and make a judgement based on him as a person, not on the basis of a political marriage. Which is what led to this moment, packing the ship to sail north to White Harbor, before continuing on to Winterfell on horses that Stannis is so kindly supplying us with. I do wish that Stannis or Shireen were coming with us. It would make this journey more enjoyable. Besides this is Stannis' wish, he should follow through with it. However, this journey is just my father and I along with some Baratheon men to accompany us and keep us safe. They have been ordered to guard me as if I was their lieges daughter, as if I was a Baratheon, and if Stannis heard they did not treat us as such, they would be in a lot of trouble when we got back to Dragonstone. I have often found it amusing, that I was able to grow up in my ancestors home, under the protection of a Baratheon.

"Lenya."

I startled back out of my thoughts as I heard my name.

"Sorry father. I did it again."

Stannis and my father shake their heads chuckling at the blush on my cheeks.

"The ship is ready. Say goodbye to Stannis."

"Goodbye my lord."

He pulls me into a hug. "I will see you soon my dear. Enjoy the North."
