She felt prodding at her nose. She weakly slapped away the hands that were torturing her or healing her, she wasn't quite sure yet. She tried to pull the tubes out of her nose but someone grabbed her wrist, which hurt. She couldn't open her eyes, like they were glued shut. She felt the sharp sting of a needle in her arm, liquid that was slowly being pushed into her arm and she knew no more.

Hermione felt groggy, her eyes felt heavy. She tried to rub in her eyes but she couldn't move her hand. Her hands were cuffed to the bed. Hermione groaned. Everything hurt. She felt sick to her stomach. 'What if those aurors took me? What did I do wrong?'

She heard footsteps in the corridor, coming her way. She closed her eyes again.

"How is she?" A distinct male voice asked.

She felt some prodding and tugging at the tubes in her arm. "She will survive but it'll be a while before she can be questioned." A female softly said.

"Someone who fell into this building through the roof is hiding something." The man answered gruffly.

'Falling through a roof, I would've remembered that, wouldn't I?' Hermione thought. Her eyelids grew heavier and she slipped back into blackness.

Opening her eyes felt a lot easier the third time. She slowly blinked and looked around.

"Good evening sleeping beauty." A man softly said next to her. He set down his glasses and put aside his book. "How are you feeling?"

Hermione looked at him with wide eyes. Next to her was the doppelganger of Bruce Banner. It couldn't be the real one. 'Maybe I'm delirious from the pain?'

He took out a little light to shine in her eyes and Hermione flinched back. "Sorry." He looked apologetic.

Hermione tested her voice. "Can" She croaked, she cleared her throat and tried again. "Can you please release one of my hands?" Bruce looked unsure.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I'm allowed." Bruce looked at her.

"Am I a prisoner?" Hermione asked softly, her voice still strained after disuse.

"No but we like to take every precaution." Bruce said as he felt at her wrist to feel her heart beat. "But how are you feeling at the moment?"

"Like I got hit by the knight bus." Hermione tried to smile but it came out as a grimace.

"Why specifically the night bus?" Bruce asked. "Don't the night and the day busses hurt the same?"

Hermione looked at him. "The knight bus? Like the knights of the round table?"

"Is that something special where you are from? I know we here in New York just have night busses like night and day." Bruce said as he looked at the screens she was hooked up to.

Hermione just looked at him. "New York?"

"What's the last thing you remember?" Bruce asked, his back turned towards her. He heard the beeping of the machine that was hooked up to Hermione fasten, her anxiety levels were increasing and he prepared a shot of calming medicine. "They broke down the door of my apartment and they tried to bring me in. And then black."

Hermione's breathing quickened. Her heart was beating rapidly, she felt like she was going to faint until she felt the sharp stab of a needle in her upper arm. Her eyes once again closed and everything went black for the third time.

Hours had passed and once again Hermione opened her eyes. There was no one around this time. Hermione couldn't make sense of this. How come she was in New York and with someone who looked like he had asked a plastic surgeon to make him into Bruce Banner?

Hermione gasped. 'I hope I'm not right about this. Please let me hallucinate this?'

Someone opened the door. Steve Rogers came into the room. "Oh you're awake again."

Hermione looked at him, not trusting him to stick another needle in her. "I would really like to stay awake this time."

Steve smiled. "I think we can manage that. How are you feeling?"

Hermione shrugged. "Everything hurts and I don't know where I am. So you know I'm grand."

Steve snorted. "I'll get the rest and we can hopefully work something out."

Before Steve could leave, Hermione asked. "Was there a stick on me when I apparently fell through the roof?"

Steve looked at her with one raised eyebrow. "I'll ask."

Steve left the room once again and Hermione leant back against the fluffy pillows. 'This is better than the last time I was a prisoner.' Hermione snorted.

The door opened again and there they were. Steve, Tony, Nat, Bruce, Thor, Loki, Wanda and lastly Bucky all filed in the room. "Sleeping beauty is finally awake." Tony said as he ticked on his touch screen, bringing up her vitals.

"I would have been awake a lot sooner if I hadn't been given a sedative three separate times." Hermione softly said.

"Do you remember anything?" Nat asked as she looked at Hermione, Natasha flinched at Hermione's face.

"I'm sure I'm a sight for sore eyes." Hermione softly smiled. "The last thing I remember is men barging into my apartment and them threatening to hurt me."

Loki looked at her. He elbowed Thor in the side and furiously whispered something to his brother, who shook his head. "You're not from here."

Hermione looked at Loki. "How can you tell? And where am I from then?"

Loki smirked. "You're not from this realm. Something happened to you that you're not telling us."

Hermione looked at Steve. "The stick?"

Steve looked at Tony and Tony ticked a few buttons before he grabbed her wand from the closet at the wall. He twirled it in front of her but didn't hand it over.

Loki gasped. "Trollkvinne" Thor looked at Loki and then looked at Hermione.

"Witch?" Bucky said. Hermione's gaze was pulled towards him. His hair was shorter than the clips on tiktok made her imagine. He looked better than she could ever dream.

Wanda nodded her head. "I can feel her powers. She's very powerful."

Hermione smiled. "I think a toddler could win from me right now so." Wanda smiled at Hermione. "But what do you mean with other realm?"

"This world and your world isn't the same. The chance of you going back to your own realm is very little."

Hermione shrugged. "Not that great of a loss, even though I missed my opportunity to get revenge."

Loki smirked. "Maybe we can help with that." Thor elbowed him in the side.

"We still don't know who you are?" Tony said.

"I'm Hermione, Hermione Granger."
