The Hunter Named Naruto

Three days later Naruto and Lara were standing in the Ranger Station of Lost Creek, Colorado so that they could ask about the missing person from the camp that was attacked. A ranger walked in while Naruto was looking at a picture of a giant grizzly bear. "Wow that is a nice sized grizzly that this guy shot, must be a hell of a hunter."

The ranger smiles "Sure is, now what can I do for you two?"

Naruto turned towards the man "We're friends of Haley's and we're here to ask if we could have a copy of the pictures that you had of the campsite that appeared to be attacked by a grizzly so that we could show her that it wasn't her brother's campsite?"

The ranger nods "Sure just let me get them and do tell her that he's not missing because he filled out a back country report that said he wouldn't be back until the 24th."

Naruto smiled and nods "Could I get a copy of that so she can see her brother's return date?"

The ranger nods and hands Naruto a file "Everything you asked for is in there."

Lara smiled "Thank you Ranger, have a nice day."

They walked out and drove off. Ten minutes later they were outside of Hailey's house. Naruto knocked on the door and a few seconds later Haley opened the door. "Hey we're park rangers, can we come in?"

Haley nods and moves aside before she sees their car. "Is that yours?"

Naruto looks over his shoulder "Yeah that's ours."

Haley smiled "Nice."

Naruto smiled and they walked in to see that Hailey and her other brother were having dinner. Naruto looked slightly sheepish "Sorry about interrupting your dinner."

Haley smiled "Don't worry about it because you're here to help us find our brother so you can interrupt our dinner any time. Though I do have to ask are the two of you together or something?"

Lara smiled and wrapped an arm around Naruto's waist while Naruto did the same and kissed the top of her head "Lara's my wife and my partner."

Haley's eyes widened and smiled after a few minutes. "Well that's great to know, so how do we help our brother?"

Naruto sighed "Well Lara and I are going to go out there and try to find him while you and your little brother stay here where it's safe."

Haley shakes her head "I can't stay here anymore; I'm tired of sitting around and doing nothing while my brother is out there and in danger. I need to find him."

Naruto looked at her "I think I know how you feel. Oh can we also have you forward the last video your brother sent you to me?"

Haley nods "Sure I can do that, here you go."

Lara smiles "Well I'm sure that we have all we need to go looking for your brother tomorrow."

Haley smiles "Well maybe we'll see you out there then, because I hired someone to help us."

Naruto closes his eyes "Well then maybe we'll join you if we run into each other."

Lara looked at Naruto before nodding "Sure that would be nice, well we have to get back to the station so that we can clock out and get some sleep for tomorrow."

They leave and get to a motel twenty minutes later. They walk into their room and Lara turns to Naruto "Why are we letting them go into those woods?"

Naruto sighed "Because we can't stop them without telling them the truth and since we're not entirely sure what we're dealing with we have nothing to tell them."

Lara sighed "I know but we don't know what could happen out there and know we'll have three innocent people with us."

Naruto nods and pulls her into his arms "I know babygirl but we have to do it this way because we can't tell them what has her brother until we know. Now there was one survivor and I would like to go talk to him, you coming with me or staying here?"

Lara smiled and kissed his cheek "I'm going to stay here and take a shower so that you can have it when you come back."

Naruto nods and pulls her into a kiss that caused her to moan. He pulled away a few minutes later and smiled at the dazed look in her eyes "Well you have a nice shower babe; I have a witness to talk to."

She snapped out of her daze and smiled at him "Sure and when you come back make sure that you have some food because I'm hungry so don't take too long dear."

Naruto nods and walks out before leaving. Lara sighed and smiled before getting into a shower. Naruto arrived at the witness's house twenty-five minutes later. "Sir could you please tell me about the attack that killed your parents twenty-three years ago?"

The man sighed and sat down "I don't know why you're asking me about that. It was just a-"

Naruto finished the man's sentence for him "A bear attack right? Is that what attacked those campers about a week ago? How about the other disappearances were those bear attacks too?"

The man had a fearful look enter his eyes "You won't believe me, no one else did."

Naruto smiled and sat down across from the man "Trust me, my family hunts things like this all the time so just tell me what you saw that night."

The man gained a far off look in his eyes as he remembered that night again "I didn't see anything, heard it though. It was late at night and I was sleeping in front of the fire. I didn't even know anything was wrong until I hear my parents scream."

Naruto looked at the man "So this bear got into your parents tent?"

The man shook his head "No, it got into our cabin, the door was locked and it still walked through it like a man, it was too fast to see but when it roared it didn't sound like any animal I've ever heard but it definitely wasn't human either."

Naruto nods and got up to leave "Well thank you for telling me this sir, I know it's hard going through that night again and I'm sorry that I had to ask you to do so."

The man shakes his head "Don't worry about it young man, just stop that thing before someone else gets hurt. Oh and it left me this."

Naruto looks at the claw marks on the man's left shoulder and chest area with wide eyes. Five minutes later he's in his car driving to get something to eat while on the phone "Babe I'm telling you that whatever we're dealing with here it's not our normal type of monster. The old man said that it enters his family's cabin like a man but he didn't even hear the damn thing until he heard his parents scream and the claw mark that thing left on him, I think we're dealing with a Wendigo here."

Lara sighed "Naruto those aren't in this area, you know that."

Naruto groaned "I know but nothing else fits, unless we're dealing with something new. If we are then you get to name the damn thing."

Lara giggled "I'll do that but for now I just want to know how much longer until you're back here because I'm lonely and I want to cuddle with my husband."

Naruto smiled "I'm just getting us something to eat than it should take me less than ten minutes to get back to you."

Eight minutes later Naruto walked into their motel room with food and saw that Lara was on the bed waiting for him to come back. When she saw him she smiled and jumped up before hugging him. Naruto smiled and put the food down before gripping her thighs and lifting her into the air. "You know you should keep my shirts from now on as night shirts because you look better in them than I do."

Lara smiled "I'll do that but you still need them for out day job. Other than that I'll wear them."

Naruto smirked and lowered her until she was level with him and kissed her. The kiss turned into a make-out session that left the both of them breathless and happy. When Naruto pulled away Lara rested her forehead against his "I love you."

Naruto smiled "I love you too babygirl."

Lara smiled and Naruto put her down and sat down so they could eat. Lara sat in his lap before getting the food Naruto brought for them out of the bags. Naruto put an arm around her waist and gently rubbed her back while she got the food out for them. An hour later they had everything put away and where cuddling in the bed while watching The Note Book. Half way through Naruto looked over and saw that Lara was asleep and he kissed her forehead before pulling the cover over them and going to sleep too. At seven the next morning Naruto was awake and making breakfast with only his pants on. Lara was also awake and watching Naruto walk around and cooks while he was half naked because she loved watching the way his muscles flexed everything he moved and the way the water made his skin glow. She also watched as water droplets would carve a path down his body while sliding through the ridges of his muscles.

Naruto put the food on the table "Dear it's time to eat so you can shower before we get ready to leave and meet up with Hailey."

Lara groaned "I don't wanna get up, carry me to the table."

Naruto smiled and walked over to her before leaning down and kissing her gently. When he broke the kiss he put his arms under her so that he picked her up in a bridal carry before carrying her to the table and sitting her down before taking the seat right next to her. She looked at him and pouted "I want to sit with you."

Naruto smiled and pulled her towards him so that she was sitting on his lap sideways while Naruto put food on their plate and they started to eat. About two hours later they were pulling up behind Hailey and the guide that she had hired to help her find her brother. Naruto got out and walked up with Lara "Do you guys have room for two more?"

Haley walked forward "You're coming with us?"

Naruto nods "Sure so that we can help you find your brother, I mean five sets of eyes are better than three right?"

Haley smiled "Thank you."

Naruto nods and walks to the back of his car before pulling out two larger hiking packs and two rifles. He also pulls out two large hunting knives, two duffle bags with rations in them, two canteens with full of water, and two sets of walkie-talkies. He walked back and smiled "Well we're ready. Babe here's your rifle and canteen. Do you want me to carry your pack or are you going to take it?"

Lara took her rifle and canteen before taking her pack. "I got it honey and now all we need to do is get to the camp site so that we can start tracking whatever took Hailey's brother."

Everyone nods and they start heading towards where Haley's brother was camping before he went missing. It looked like a grizzly had torn about everything before it took her brother. Naruto noticed drag marks and followed them. When he was about fifteen feet from the camp site the marks vanished. Naruto called for his wife and a minute later she was standing behind him. He glanced over his shoulder "Look at this, there are drag marks leading from the camp site before they just disappear. This just shows more evidence that we're dealing with a Wendigo and that means that we need to keep a very close eye on the three back there. Do you want to keep an eye on Hailey and I'll keep an eye or Roy while we both keep an eye on Haley's younger brother Ben?"

Lara nods "Yeah let's do that so that we could make it easier to keep them all safe."

They walked back into camp and heard someone screaming for help. Lara and Naruto saw the other three take off looking for the source of the screaming. Only when they go there they saw that it was an empty clearing. Naruto looked around while Lara looked at Haley "Let's get everyone back to camp right now."

When they get back Haley noticed that everyone's packs where gone before remembering that Naruto and Lara never put their packs down so that they still have them. Haley turns towards them "Do you two have enough food for everyone here?"

Naruto sighed "Not really, one of us is going to have to go without food. So make sure that you eat what you need."

Naruto puts his food on the ground before walking five feet from them and drawing something in the dirt. He does the same thing three more times on every side of the camp site before sitting down and starts putting together what look likes hand help flame throws. Haley looked at him with wide eyes "Why do you something like that?"

Naruto glanced up at her before looking back at what he was doing "We're hunting something called a Wendigo and they can only be killed by fire. The guns and knives that we have will just piss it off. They're very smart because they know how to hunt and trap their pray to make it easier to kill or capture them. We have to track it back to where it stays while it's hibernating so that we can find your brother. If we do this right than we can be out of her by noon tomorrow at the latest, however if something goes wrong than we'll be here for a few more hours."

Roy shook his head and laughed "Right and I'm hunting a demon after this."

Naruto scoffed "A demon would kill you without batting an eyelash dumbass."

Roy got up and took a threatening step towards Naruto who didn't even look at him. "Sit your ass back down Roy; I don't want to have to hurt you before you listen to the experts about this hunt."

Roy stood there for a few minutes before sitting back down. Naruto popped his neck and finished putting the hand held flame throwers together. He put them to the side and stood up before cracking his back. He noticed that it was getting dark. "No one leaves the camp because while this thing is a great hunter during the day it's an absolutely amazing one at night. However it can't get us here."

Roy laughed "Because of the magic circle."

Lara rolled her eyes "No one like an asshole Roy."

Roy rolled his eyes and went back to watching the area around him for any movement. Naruto walked up to Haley and put a hand on her shoulder "We will find your brother I promise."

Haley looked up at him and smiled. Naruto smiled back at her before looking at her younger brother "Can you carry my pack dude?"

Ben nods "Yeah I should be able to do that Naruto, but why are you asking me that."

Naruto smirked and gave Ben his pack before hearing something moving around outside of the camp site, he turned around and noticed that someone was yelling for help again. "No one leave because it's trying to draw us out of camp. We're safe here."

Roy sighed "Because of the magic circle?"

Naruto shook his head and they heard the Wendigo roar. Roy brought his gun up to shoot if he saw anything "Ok that wasn't a grizzly."

Naruto, Lara, and Roy started shooting anytime they saw movement while Haley and Ben stood in between the three of them so that they had more protection. Roy shoots it and run after "I hit it!"

Naruto turned towards him "No, Roy stay in the camp!"

Roy took off into the woods. Naruto turned to Lara "Stay here with them, if I'm not back in five minutes, get them out of here in the morning."

Lara nods and Naruto takes off after Roy. He hears Roy yell "It's over here, this way. It's in the-"

Roy couldn't finish his sentence because the Wendigo reached down from the tree and broke Roy's neck before pulling his body into the tree. Naruto ran up to the last place he heard Roy and saw nothing so he ran back to camp. When he got back there he looked at Lara and shook his head "The Wendigo got him before I could see him."

Lara looks down while Haley and Ben looked worried. The next morning Naruto was walking around the camp site before stopping next to the other three "I want to kill this evil son of a bitch and we have half a chance in the day."

Lara nodded "I'm in so let's go find it and kill it."

Naruto nods and they start to track it to where Roy had disappeared. They didn't see anything else but Haley felt something hit the shoulder of her jacket. She looked over and saw that it was blood. She looked up and saw Roy's body, this caused her to scream. Everyone turned to her before Naruto and Lara looked up. They saw Roy's body and Naruto lead Ben away while Lara did the same with Haley. They then heard the Wendigo roar and started to run. Naruto made sure that everyone was in front of him. They had been running for about four minutes when Haley fell. Naruto started to help her up when he realized that they were being left alone. Naruto got her onto her only for the Wendigo to appear behind her. Lara heard Haley scream somewhere behind her before hearing Naruto fire four or five shots. Lara and Ben turned around before rushing back hoping to get there and help only to find out that they were too late. Ben took another five steps before looking around "Haley!"

Lara took two steps in front of Ben while looking around "Naruto!"

Ben looked down and saw something on the ground. He picked it up and saw that Naruto had dropped some poker chips for Lara and Ben to follow. He called Lara over and showed her the poker chip as well as pointing out that there were more to follow. Lara smiled "My husband, always thinking outside the box."

Several hours later they found the cave where the poker chips ended. Lara looked at Ben "Last chance to let me get out of the woods before I come back here to get our family members."

Ben shakes his head "I need to be here in case something comes up and you need some help before we can find the others."

Lara nods and slowly opens the wooden door. They walk in and start searching for Tommy, Haley, and Naruto. Twenty minutes later they walk into an opening in the caver were they see Naruto and Haley. Lara ran up to Naruto and Ben did the same to Haley. They got the two of them awake. Naruto shook his head to get the cobwebs out of it. Naruto snapped out of his stupor and looked at Lara before smiling "I knew you'd find my poker chips. Now will you please get me out of these ropes so that I can distract that damn thing while the four of you leave?"

Lara nods and cuts the ropes around Naruto's wrist before catching him as he stumbled because he couldn't stand on his own for a few seconds. When he could Lara went over to help Ben get Haley down before they walked up to Tommy. Haley and Ben thought he was dead before he took a deep breath which made Haley gasp and Ben to take a step back. Haley quickly cut him down with the pocket knife she had. While that was happening Naruto was looking around the cave opening to see if he could find something that could be used against the Wendigo. He saw two flare guns on the ground and picked them up before turning towards everyone else. "Hey, look at all of these."

Everyone turned towards him and Lara smirked "Those will work lovely against the monster."

Naruto handed one to her and looked at the other three. "Stay with Lara, she'll get all of you out of here."

Naruto kissed his wife. When he pulled away Haley looked at him "What are you going to do?"

Naruto just smirked before turning around and started running down the cave tunnel "Come and get me you ugly bastard! Come on its dinner time bitch and I taste good!"

They watched as he disappeared down the tunnel before Lara looked at the others "Come on."

With that she started to lead the others out of the cave while Naruto tried to get the Wendigo to come after him. Two minutes later Lara saw the Wendigo in front of them and she shot at it. She missed and hit the cave wall but it did make the monster run because it couldn't see. This happened again three minutes later and the Wendigo caused her to drop the flare gun and get her and the others cornered before she could pick the gun back up. Lara made sure that the others were behind her "Stay behind me."

Lara watched the Wendigo walk closer to them. Naruto pointed his flare gun at the monster from behind "Hey, you ugly piece of shit!"

The Wendigo turned towards Naruto and he shot it in the stomach with a flare that caused it to scream as it burned into a pile of ashes. Naruto then looks at everyone else "Let's get out of here so that we can get Tommy so medical attention. We'll also need to tell the police that all of this was a bear attack so that they don't try to have us all locked up in a loony bin."

Everyone nods and Naruto walked up to them before having Haley and Ben get Tommy on his back so that they could leave the forest as fast as possible. Thirty minutes later Ben is telling the cops about the 'bear' that had attacked them while Naruto was sitting on the hood of his car and Lara was getting checked out. Haley walked up to him and smiled "I don't know how to thank you for helping my family come back together."

Naruto smiled "You don't have to thank me because this is what my family does. My parents were hunters and they were killed when I was younger. I'm just trying to be the best at what I do so that they can watch me from Heaven and know that I'm going to keep up the family business."

Haley nods "I can understand that, if you don't mind me asking how did they die?"

Naruto shook his head "Sorry Haley but I've only told three people about that and one's dead. My father in law and my wife are the only two still alive that know about my parent's death."

Haley nods and kissed Naruto on the cheek before walking to the ambulance that Tommy was in so that she could ride to the hospital with him, Ben got in soon after and the ambulance drove away. Lara sat next to Naruto and leaned into him "I saw her kiss your cheek and I don't want you to think that I'm mad or anything, I just wanted to say that we should talk about that old family tradition that you told me about after we had been dating for two years."

Naruto sighed and put an arm around her waist before kissing the top of her head "I thought that we decided that we were never going to go through with that babygirl."

Lara smiled "I know but I've also known that you want a big family and I just can't give you that. You and I both heard the doctor last year, we'll be lucky if I can give you more than one child. So I think that we should talk about you having other women that love you come into our lives so that you can have that big family."

Naruto closed his eyes "I think that we should talk about this at a later time love, and we will talk about it but I just want to get some sleep in a bed with my gorgeous wife."

Lara smiled "I can agree with that so let's get you back to our motel room babe."
