Strength and power

Ryuunosuke Pov

"Amaterasu? What a weird yet unique last name. Do you come from a noble household, Amaterasu?"

The silver haired female known as now emilia says

"A noble household? Hmmm..."

I was now again emmerged from my thoughts once more.

"A noble household? I guess this place is really in medieval era, but at the same time it isn't. Lizards, demihumans, and now a cat creature that is floating and can shoot ice shards.

I guess I am in a fantasy world with things like magic, It's like those manga that Ken always reads. I did read manga as well as to waste time but I wouldn't say that, I am a fan of it. And this emilia person...

INTERESTING!

I always had good intuition and good luck as well, and my guts is telling me that if I keep following this emilia, I'd end up in interesting and fun situation myself. However a noble household...

I can't just say random things like "Hey, actually I was supposed to be dead then I somehow randomly ended up here." So the best course of action to take right now is..

"Amaterasu-kun?" Emilia calls my name, but to no avail I am still stuck in my thoughts.

Puck then began to sit on top of my head

"I know that Lia is beautiful and this is a normal male reaction, but it's rude to keep a lady waiting you know? Also you're hair is so soft and nice"

Puck says while comforting himself on top of me.

I was snapped out of my thoughts

"Oh my bad, your question was if I was from a noble household right?"

I say while trying to make it interesting

"That's right are you a noble, Amaterasu-kun?"

Emilia says while staring at me

"You can just call me Ryuunosuke or Ryuu for short. Now am I from a noble household..

I say while smiling and staring at emilia's confused face

"In truth, I actually don't remember how I got here without any money, my memories is a bit messed up right now. Well anyways isn't it time to go look for your insignia, I want to help you exchange for food please accept my help"

I say at the two while they are trying to analyze my words

Then Puck now flew out of my head and went to emilia's shoulder.

"I think you should accept Lia, He doesn't have any ill intention, he's saying the truth as well.

Puck says at the thinking emilia

Emilia then began to stare at me

Emilia pov

"Well I don't really think that he's a bad person, he even apologized to those three, because he knew that he took it too far.

He said that satella doesn't fit me and that I am my own person."

Now he's staring at me with innocent eyes, however those eyes...

"He certainly didn't live an easy life."

"Ahem! Then I'll accept your help um..

I say at the strange person in front of me.

"Alright let's look for my insignia then!"

Ryuunosuke pov

"Ohhh"

Me and Puck say while holding both our hand and..

We were about to go out of the alley until a voice stopped us.

"Please wait for a Moment!"

A red hair man with a knight figure says at us.

We then stopped, and looked at him.

"If you're looking for money, I actually have nothing to give."

I say at the unknown red hair man

Emilia and Puck then stared at me with surprised eyes.

He also stared at me with surprised eyes.

"Oh I am not here for that, I was gonna ask you if you were responsible for the beating of this three."

The red hair man says

I look at the three, one was unconsious and had a bleeding nose along with a crushed face, and the big one was also the same with the bleeding figure and the little thug was..

Traumatized.

I stare at the three then switched my look to the red hair person.

"Am I going to jail? But it was out of self defense they tried to rob me!"

I say at the red hair figure

The red hair person looked at me with a surprised and amused eyes.

"No not at all, in fact I was gonna thank you since this three had been robbing passerby in this area."

The red haired man says

"Then mister..."

I then began to think on what to call him, before suddenly he introduces himself

"Oh! My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Reinhard Van Astrea.

Can I ask for your name then?"

The red haired man says at me

"My name is Ryuunosuke Amaterasu, and this is my friend Emilia and Puck." I say at reinhard

"Emilia?..."

He says quite surprised and he looked towards the silver haired female

He then began to bow at Emilia

"OH! EMILIA-SAMA, My sincere apologies, I was quite focused and determined to learn where the sudden massive aura appeared and did not notice you.

"I hope you were not offended by that."

Reinhard tells at my companion, and he was very sincere about his apologies.

"It's okay Reinhard-san, No need for formalities."

Emilia says at reinhard

Reinhard gives emilia a thankful look before turning to look at me to only find out, that I am now right in front of him close.

I observe his body, his aura, the way he carries himself, and the look of his eyes.

Reinhard did not move and stayed at his spot,

And also observed me.

"Hmmm...

You are Strong Reinhard."

He only smiled and said

"Yes, and you are as well."

He did not reject or tried to be humble, he truly was strong and he had pride for his strength.

"By the way, the way you called lia-chi, are you perhaps someone really important?"

I say at emilia, while she looks at me with surprised eyes.

"Lia-chi? A nickname for me?"

Emilia says at me

"Of course! We are buddies after all, right? Or am I the only one that thinks that?"

I look at emilia with innocent eyes

She paused for a moment

"Does that mean...

we're friends?"

She says a bit confused and surprised

"Of course we are!"

I say to her while closing my eyes and smile

"Ahem, although not to ruin the moment Ryuunosuke-San. Although I am not in duty, it would not be proper if I were not to reward you for catching this three, would you like anything?"

"Hmmm although I am hungry, I still want to help my buddy. Actually got something stolen from her. You don't have to come with us, but can you help us look for a blonde female with red eyes?"

Reinhard takes note of the appearance of the person I mentioned

"I understand if I were to encounter someone that matches that description, then I would let you and emilia-Sama know."

Reinhard says to me and Emilia

"Then see ya, Reinhard."

I say to Reinhard as I Grabbed Emilia's hand, and I lead her towards the town to look for that person.

Although she was surprised, she didn't let go of my hand.

We were now exploring the town asking people question, if they were familiar with the description given.

While walking around we saw a little girl crying because she seemed to have lost her parents.

"That girl seems to have lost her parents.."

Emilia says while looking at the girl

"Do you want to help her then?"

Emilia looks at me and says

"Of course!"

"Why?"

I say confuse at the reason why she wants to help, when she needs to look for her insignia.

"Because..

It's the right thing to do!"

She walks over to the crying little girl

And tried to soothe the girl, but the little girl now cried even more.

"Um please don't cry! I won't do anything bad"

She says flustered at the situation

I sigh and grabbed a stone that was nearby and began to walk towards the crying little girl.

"Now we have a stone that is in my hand! Now what shall I do with this stone?"

I closed my palm crushing the stone in the process, and turning it to dust

Emilia sweatdropped at my magic trick.

"That's amazing, Mister how did you do that?!"

The crying girl was now replaced with a smiling happy one.

"Kukuku It's because mister here is really strong, and do you know how I got so strong?

I say at the little girl

"How did you get so strong mister?"

The excited little girl asks me

I grab the little girl's waist and carried her up high.

"It's because mister here doesn't cry easily"

The girl was now laughing being carried up high.

"Now then can mister and and this sister help you look for your parents?"

"Of course!"

The little girl says

We were now walking around hand by hand

At the streets of Lugnica

I sigh

"It's like I'm taking care of one small little girl and another little girl that's just bigger than others"

Puck then got out of emilia's hair and laughed at my comment.

Emilia pouted and Glared at me

"It's the opposite!"

Emilia says

While I was teasing her the little girl suddenly let go of our hands, and ran towards a person that seemed to be her mother.

"Well it looks like she's found her parent."

"Mhm, I'm glad."

We then stopped at a bridge and decided to take a break there.

"Hey, Ryuu"

Emilia calls out my name

"Hm?"

"Earlier, Reinhard said that he can reward you right? For catching those three."

"That's right, what about it?"

"Then why didn't you ask reinhard to buy you food? Isn't that the reason your helping me?"

I look at her and saw her eyes, she was confused and a bit down.

"Well at first it was because of that, but now it's different."

I say to emilia while looking at her

"Different? Then what's the reason your helping me right now then?"

Emilia looks at me

I look at her surprised and saw that she still doesn't get it, because of that I let out a small laugh

Emilia pouted because I laughed at her

"Mou, what's so funny tell me the reason!"

She glares at me while pouting

"Are you stupid? There's no reason."

I say with a small smile while looking up in the sky

"What do you mean there's no reason?"

She was confused by the answer she was given

"There's no reason, because I don't need one. There's no need for a reason when helping your buddy right?"

She then looks at me surprised and her cheeks began to blush a bit.

"I guess you really aren't a bad boy Ryuu-kun."

"Ha? I'm a bad boy of course if I weren't one why would I wear this coat in the first place.

And why are you treating me as if your older than me, the gap isn't that big."

I say to her

"The gap is that big, I'm a half elf after all."

She says looking down and shaking a bit.

She then looks up and met my curious eyes

"Awesome? I'm a half Elf you know?"

"Yeah? I heard you, aren't elf those beautiful people that lives in the forest? That's cool."

Her ears got red and she crouched down holding her head

Then Puck suddenly comes out and charges at me and hit me with his soft paw

"What, you wanna go?"

I say to Puck

"I don't know what you mean by go, but I just had to do something about this feeling."

"Are you guys perhaps mad at me? Did I say something wrong?"

I say confused at the situation

"No no, it's the opposite in fact"

Puck says while laughing

"Mou, Ryuu-kun, you dunderhead!"

Emilia says while pouting.

"Who says dunderhead nowadays, anyways it's time we go to felt."

I say to the two

"But we don't know where she is?"

"Oh I already had a guess on where we can find her. "

"Ha? Then why did you just say it now?

Emilia says at me.

"Well..

You didn't ask?"

Emilia looked at me with annoyed eyes

"Well then let's go!"

We were now in the slums and asked some questions and luckily someone knew where felt's house was.

We were now on our way towards there until I bumped into a black haired female

I glared at the black haired female, not because of the bump, but because of that dangerous aura she had.

"My my, you bump into someone and glare at them how rude."

The unknown female says to me

"Rude? Don't wanna be called by that by a person with a dangerous vibe like you."

We then stood in front of each other, and the atmosphere was tense so tense that you can cut it with a knife.

I was about to kick her until Emilia suddenly grabs my hand and apologized quickly to the person, and ran away towards felt's den dragging me with her.

"Mou, that was dangerous why were you so alert around that lady.

Emilia says at me

"She was dangerou-"

Until suddenly someone tried to cut me from behind,

But I just moved sideways and saw the figure of the familiar blonde girl.

She tried to attack me again with a stab until I lifted my foot and blocked it with my sandal

"Woah easy there, we just wanted to talk."

I say to the blonde girl

"Talk? Talk about what?

Although she stopped atacking, she is still cautious around us.

"Hmm.."

"Judging by her financial situation, She won't easily give it for free because she needs money."

"We want to have a trade for your insignia"

I say to felt.

Emilia then wanted to say something but I used my hand to cover her mouth

Her ears got redder and she blushed by my sudden action.

I used my finger to make a peace sign to show that the situation is in control.

"Then what do you have for trade?"

Felt asks me

"Well this isn't a place where we can negotiate right?"

Felt looks at me

"Hmmm you're right nii-chan follow me."

We went over to an unknown house

And a Massive person opened the door

"Ohh felt! You're here"

The giant says to the blonde

"Yo! Old man Rom we want something to get appraised"

Felt says

"Is that so, then come in"

The old man known as rom says.

We then entered his house, and Old man rom offered felt a milk.

I took out my phone, from my pocket and showed it to them. They looked at it with curiosity.

"This tool is quite special and unique, I am very confident that there's no tool like this you can find besides mine. It's one of a kind."

" Hoo, then what does it do?"

"It does a lot of things for example"

I took my phone and recorded them

Try waving at it.

They both wave towards the camera.

And with that I ended the record and showed them the record video I just took.

They were surprised at the video

"This tool you can use it to trap things in place in this little object. You can also use it at people and record them."

I say to Old Man rom

"Record? Oh! That's me and felt waving at it."

Old man rom says

"So what do you think? Pretty useful right?"

I say to the two before I suddenly sensed an attack coming towards Emilia.

"PUCK SHIELD HER!"

I yell to Puck and Puck blocked the knife with magic.

The unknown figure seeing the attack didn't work, she decided to jump backwards.

"That was quite close, I'm glad you yelled that Ryuu. You saved us!"

"A spirit.. That is a spirit yes?

Wow.. How lovely, I've never dissected a spirit's stomach before."

The unknown figure says

"Hey! What do you mean by that?!"

Felt says at the black haired female

"How can we negotiate, when the item owner is right here? So I decided to change my plans, I shall slaughter everyone here!"

She then charges at felt at an inhumane speed but I also dashed towards her and went for a kick.

She dodges and jumps backwards again, but it grazed her cheeks making it bleed a little.

She then looks at me wide eyed

"Hey, you bastard did you just say you'll slaughter everyone here? That means that includes me right?"

While talking I removed my white uniform and just wore my coat on my shoulder.

I proceeded to grab my gloves from my pockets and wore both on my hands.

"Such Big Words coming from a vermin like you, but I wonder do you have the power to back it up?"

"Because if not.."

I dashed at her, and caught her off guard by my speed. She went for a block with her knives, so I changed from punch to kick directed at her sides.

She flew over the tables, and she gasped for air but she recovered quickly with blood coming from her mouth a bit, she looks at me with a wide smile.

"If not, then you should know your place."

"FOOL!"
