Since you got a glimpse of the backstory within the previous chapter, allow me to put your theories to the side with some Wildehopps fluff (and some sexual tension to top it off) :3

Something rare about Zootopia was times where it would be almost entirely silent during the night. The city's residents were frequently busy and caused the large multi-sectioned landscape to be rather noisy during the early morning and the afternoon. However, once it came to the point that it was late at night, where most of the city was asleep, it was more peaceful than the city itself.

There was no constant car honking, little amounts of chattering, engines weren't continuously roaring across the streets. It was just quiet, the only sounds being slight crickets and possibly a truck or two passing by. This was something that was also rarely spoken about and usually, this peaceful silence occurred every few months. It was a moment where any mammal within Zootopia could just sit down, and take in the beautiful sight of the glowing city at night.

Speaking of mammals, resting under a tree near the center of the city park, rested fellow member of the Zootopia Police Department: Nicholaus Piberius Wilde, with his partner (more like his boss) Judy Hopps resting on his chest, snuggled up close to the vulpine. While Judy was clothed in a purple t-shirt and a pair of jeggings, Nick was only wearing a pair of cargo pants, his red tropical pattern button and striped tie were tossed onto the grass aside and resulting in the vulpine remaining shirtless. Wilde kept a paw over his lover's back as she softly breathed along the fox's bare chest. This made a gentle blush creep upon his facials, his smile only growing wider as he looked down at his favorite bunny.

It had been 8 months since Nick and Judy had first met at Jumbeaux's Café when he was still in his business as a hustler in the streets of Zootopia. He was surprised that she even stood up for him, and managed to fall for his little trick. It wasn't until afterward when they saw each other again, as she had 'caught' him in his business. During that amount of time, the fox managed to reflect his own emotions onto the small bunny, in an attempt to make her feel horrible about her decisions.

However, his timing was cut short the next day after the situation had occurred. After taking on another successful hustle, Judy saw the two again and attempted to ask Wilde about a case he failed to comply with. After a short conversation regarding his job, she eventually threatened to arrest the vulpine and ended up blackmailing him using his own words.

Of course, not wanting to go to prison, Nick ended up following along with her case and decided to take unlikely measures by doing what he could to try and talk the rabbit out of the situation, along with the two of them spending 8 hours at the DMV to get her to fail. Eventually, after unlikely situations, it all came down to the time in Rainforest District. When he saw Bogo's demand for her badge and refusing to believe the situation that occurred, it broke his heart if he was being honest. So right then and there, he stood up for Hopps, and the two left to continue with their investigation.

On the sky tram, Nick finally gave in and decided to tell Judy about how he used to be, and his original dream of joining the Junior Ranger Scouts, and what had gone down involving the muzzle incident. She attempted to comfort him, and if it was one thing, that for sure worked, but he then he went right back into detective mode, and their mission had continued as simple as that, nothing else being spoken on that situation.

Once the two had found all the 14 mammals within Cliffside Asylum, it all came down to that moment in the Entrance of the ZPD, when the interview involving Ms. Hopps, where she spoke on the situation regarding only Predators going savage within Zootopia, and how it might've been a biological component. All it took was one glance at the pictures, and Wilde's PTSD had kicked in at that moment. Blinded by his fear and rage, Nick remembered snapping on the bunny about the situation and left her without a trace.

However, weeks later as a large political outrage was all over Zootopia, Judy came to him as she had finally pieced together the missing bits of the case. Still heartbroken from the incident, Nick attempted to turn it down by walking off, and at that moment, he heard the poor bunny pour her heart out to him. If he was being honest, it was most likely that moment where he began to see the bunny as something else rather than a friend. Instead of shutting her out, he then put his grudge aside and helped her out.

Once the final piece of the case was finished, that was when Nick really knew about his feelings for Judy, and he only teased her from time to time to foreshadow how the fox really felt for her. With that, he then decided to give it a try and applied to the Zootopia Police Department, which even surprised him that even after training, he managed to be accepted into the force.

As time went on, Wilde continued to hide his feelings for Judy as he worked with her. Even during times where she'd suggest that he could come over to her apartment, or she came over to his, he would believe that time would be perfect to tell her about how much he loved her and wanted to be with her. However, he never took the chance and instead brushed it off as just friends.

This went on for a month until the time came where Nick eventually broke down and told Judy about how he felt about her, resulting in leaving the bunny shocked at how her friend felt about her. Yet, she couldn't say no. Why?

She felt the same.

With that, the two began their relationship. The two occasionally would flirt with each other while on patrol, in attempts to make the other flustered as they kept their focus on their mission. They had a rather healthy one in full honesty, with dates going on here and there, sleepovers, etc. This went on for 7 months until Wilde finally dropped down onto one knee, looked into her violet eyes, and asked her to be the one he would never leave, the one he would love until the two grew old. Many tears were shed that day, and just as he hoped.

She said yes.

Now back to the present. It had been 12 days since the proposal, and the wedding was planned for tomorrow afternoon within a field located in Bunny Burrow. However, these two were out late at night, cuddling against the tree as fireflies flew around the grassy park. A beautiful and calming sight, and it was surprising that none of them had yet suggested that they should've returned home.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Judy said now, causing the vulpine's attention to lower downwards to his soon-to-be wife, his smile only widening as he leaned down to gently nuzzle the bunny, who did the same.

"How lucky I am to be with you," Nick answered, wrapping his arm a bit more securely over Judy's body. "Can't believe this all started because you saw me and Finnick disguising ourselves as father and son at an ice cream parlor."

This received a gentle giggle from Judy as she leaned up against the fox's chest, turning her body over a bit so she was laying against him entirely, tracing one of her digits along his bare chest, before speaking up herself. "You two did a good job at acting, I never would've thought someone as handsome as you would be great at a dad impression."

"Oh, so I'm handsome now?" Nick teased as his smile morphed into a smirk, his head cocking to the side gently. "Are you trying to make me blush, Carrots?"

"Of course not," Judy said with a teasing tone, leaning up closer to the fox's lips as she looked into his eyes. "I just wanted to tell you how good you were at acting."

"Mmmhmm." Nick purred out with a gentle eye roll, before leaning down to close the gap between their lips, kissing the bunny deeply. Judy kissed him back, her paws making their way to his bare chest as she climbed closer to him. Wilde caught onto this, his paws moving over to her hips to hold her as the two continued to kiss, adjusting himself a tad before easing her down onto his lap.

However, as much as both of them didn't want this to end, Judy slowly pulled back and got a gentle whine from Nick as his eyes opened, looking towards Judy who gave a gentle smile in response, before slowly pulling herself off of his lap, clearing her throat for a moment.

"We should go back to the apartment since I'm pretty sure no bystander is gonna want to see a couple making out on the park grounds," Judy said to Nick, who gently snickered as he reached over to grab the tropical button-up from the grass, stuffing it into the waistband of his pants.

"Who cares what they think? It's not like I was on top of you." The fox remarked, rolling his eyes as he pulled himself up from the grass, stretching his limbs out for a brief moment. "Plus, even if I was, that wouldn't stop neither of us now, would it?"

"Nick!" The bunny said as she felt her face go red, turning over to face away from Nick to hide her blushing. "You can't say things like that, it makes me... you know."

"Horny?"

"Sweet cheese and crackers, Nick. Let's just go." Judy said with a hint of annoyance in her tone, but not like an 'I-hate-you-never-speak-to-me-again' type of way, but more in a flirtatious way. With that, the two departed from the tree in the park and towards their apartment. "And please, put your shirt back on."

"Make me." Wilde snorted, stuffing his paws into his pockets as he watched Judy turn and stare at him, a gentle smirk forming on his face as he stared at the bunny.

"Oh, don't worry. I will." Judy said now, rolling her eyes and ignoring the gentle pink shade slowly forming along her cheeks. Nick knew what he was doing, so with a gentle flick of his tail and a tilt of his head, he then spoke up a final time as the two made their way towards the Townside Apartments.

"We'll see about that, Carrots."

Once the two reached the apartment room, it wasn't long for Judy to unlock the door. However, Nick saw it as a personal win as his emerald gaze was able to look down at the rump in front of him, releasing a gentle 'wolf whistle' in the process. This caused Judy's head to turn back to look at him with a head tilt, causing the fox to raise his paws in defeat.

"What? It's right in front of me, Judy. I can't ignore it." The vulpine defended himself, which got a gentle chuckle from Judy as she unlocked the door to the apartment, reaching over and gently tugging onto Nick's paw, urging him to move inside of the room.

"I don't care anymore, get inside." She said now with a gentle hint of lust in her tone, and that managed to get the fox to quickly step inside, shutting the door behind him as he reached down, his paws moving to her sides. "So we watching a movie or-"

She didn't get to finish as she released a gentle yelp of surprise as the fox lifted her into his arms, swiftly spinning over and pinning her back against the wall. His muzzle swiftly moved down to her neck and he began to inhale at her scent, placing gentle little kisses along the spot where her neck and shoulder met. This got gentle moans to release from Judy's lips as her legs wrapped around his hips, paws trailing up his fur.

"Nicky~" She breathed out, her leg grip slightly tightening around his hips as she pulled him closer, causing both of Nick and Judy's lower halves of their bodies to come in contact, resulting in a rather loud moan coming from both of them as their eyes locked onto one another. It felt like the two knew what each other were thinking, and that was the part that made the situation even better.

Nick pulled himself over and navigated over towards the couch with a swift action, keeping Judy's body close to his as he made his way over. Once he was close, he then carefully laid the bunny down onto the couch, climbing on top of her as he continued to kiss onto her neck, making her release more moans as her paws continued to run up and down his back.

As their moment of passion continued, Judy's paws then slowly moved away from Nick's back and reached over towards the zipper of his cargo pants. She then let out a shaky exhale as she began to pull the zipper down, beginning to unbutton the top piece of his pants, before a paw moved over top of hers, stopping her from continuing. She then looked upwards, looking at Nick as he released a gentle purr, looking down at Judy with a smirk.

"I thought we were going to watch a movie," Nick said now with a gentle head tilt, causing the bunny underneath him to go completely red as she buried her face in her paws, causing the vulpine to break into a small fit of laughter before he reached down to his pants, pulling them down to reveal the tight black underwear that went down towards his knees, which also had a very noticeable bulge. "But that could always happen another time."

"I hate you," Judy mumbled, pulling herself up to sit more properly as she watched Nick set the pants aside from the couch, before crawling up towards her and giving her a gentle kiss on her cheek, which caused her face to remain more heated than it previously was.

"Love you too, Judy." Nick purred out, softly kissing onto her cheek once more as he reached over to pull her closer. "So... what do you have in mind? You have a choice or... just browse."

"Well, I guess we could browse through a few movie channels until we find something both of us like." She suggested with a gentle shrug, looking over towards the remote. She then reached over and took it, flicking on the TV. Nick scooted a bit closer towards the bunny, wrapping an arm around her as the two began to scroll through the movie channels.

"Fine by me."

The duo ended up agreeing to a romantic-comedy film that was beginning to start. However, it wasn't long until Judy fell asleep on Nick's shoulder as the fox continued to watch, actually interested in what was going on in the film. Although he forgot what the title was, and was too lazy to check, the film was about a jackal single father with 3 daughters and a raccoon mother with 2 sons who had traveled to another continent as a vacation, but they were forced to act like a couple due to the trip being offered to them.

At the moment, the raccoon and the jackal were currently having a dinner date by the lake, the two make up for the horrendous first date that happened at the beginning of the movie. Nick couldn't remember when he was this interested in a film ever since he was a kid. However, he then glanced over at the clock and took a note it was 1:47 AM, his eyes looking over towards Judy who was sleeping on his shoulder. This made the vulpine gently smile, as he then reached for the remote and clicked onto the guide button, taking note of the name of the film, before shutting off the TV.

With that, he reached over and slipped a paw underneath Judy's legs, and moved another to wrap around her back. He stood up from the couch, carrying the bunny in his arms as he made his way over towards the bedroom. He took this moment to study her features as she slept, her long ears, her gentle breathing, slight tail movements. He leaned down to give her a gentle kiss on her forehead before stepping into the bedroom, making his way towards the mattress. Nick carefully laid her down on her side onto the bed, before slipping behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her closer.

Once he was comfortable enough, his emerald gaze looked downwards to Judy a final time, kissing her cheek as he looked towards the small ring on one of her digits, a smile forming onto his facials before he reached over and pulled the blankets over them. However, as he went to rest, his phone had gone off, making him release a gentle groan as he reached over, and pressing on the power button to examine the message that covered his phone screen.

ZOOTOPIA ALERT
METEOR SHOWER IN RANGE OF VIEW
TOMORROW 4:15 PM - 11:52 PM

"Huh, ain't that something." He mumbled to himself, before shutting off the phone and setting it aside from the bed, going back to holding Judy as a gentle sigh emitted from his lips, looking down at the bunny before whispering his final words before falling asleep.

"Tomorrow, we start our new life."

If someone here can guess the movie reference that I slipped into here, they are my new best friend.

Anyways, you'll get some Wedding Fluff tomorrow, as the real stuff will begin soon...
