(Back In Time Outside Hogwarts Gates)
I come back to my senses and look at the place I once called home "Tempus" I whisper September 1st 1974 6pm. I was in the Maurders final year at Hogwarts. And it was dinner time on the first day of the term. The sorting should be done by the time I make it there, and I change my clothes into a black dress with silver Applica's and silver heels. I reach into my bag and pull out my family tree that we had done but I never got to see the results. It was there in black in right another strike against you Dumbledore. I makes the treck to the great hall. I make it to the door thankfully many didn't see me. I hear chatter thankfully that means that the sorting is over and I wont scare many first years. I magically force the doors open and the hall goes quiet. "ALBUS DUMBLEDORE" I scream and make my way to the front of the staff table. I seen both my brothers but I didn't have time I had to deal with a manipulative wizard.
He stands looking confused as ever. Well I was about to ruin his day, "yes Ms that would be me how might I be of service?" he asks his eyes doing the fucking twinkle.
I hope my next words take the twinkle right out of them, " 'The black light comes and will soon be taken, by the fake leader of light. If this comes to be then the darkness will reign until the dark light can be found again. If she is returned the light will be return and darkness will fall with the power the dark lord knows not' sound familiar?" He looks at me with wide-eyed the twinkle is gone. "You have become a traitor to house of Black I am Hermione Lyra Black I have returned to fix the fuck up you did to the wizarding world. Though I should leave you all to rot because of you darkness almost won" I tell him.
He looks at me in shock "Ms. Black how when?" then he puts his head down in shame. Then he looks back at me "For what it matters I am truly sorry for what you have gone through and hope you forgive an old man for trying to save the us all" he says "will you be joining us at Hogwarts?" he asks me.
I don't trust his apology but nod and take a seat at the stool I look over at the gryfindors and see Sirius looking at me in shock and then looking at Dumbledore in anger and ready to kill. I look over at Regulus he looks to be the same. The hat is placed on my hat, "Welcome back Ms. Black you have bits of every house in you. But, you have the heart of a lioness." He starts "Better be GRYFINDOR I hope you save us all Ms. Black" He whispers the last part.
I don't know what it was I stood and looked at Regulus he gave me a smile and nodded then I looked over at Sirius he was standing and cheering. I broke out into a run he opened his arms and I jumped right into them. I was finally home and I would save them both and I would save the world. He spun me around I swear I felt my shoulder getting wet and we sat down I was in between James and Sirius Remus was sitting across from me. I just hopped I would be able to save them all.
James Point of View:
I sat next to my best mates Remus Lupin the legendary book worm and Sirius Black the legendary ladies man. Our other mate had gone to see Madame Pompry because he wasn't feeling well. We shrugged it off and sat through the sorting. As it ended suddenly the doors burst open and there stood an angel. I could feel her power and it blew me away. She had long wavy black hairs, amazing curves, she was short but not to short, her eyes from what I could see with molten silver. This was the empitimoy of every wizards wet dream. And the dress she was wearing oh my Merlin. This witch is HOT! I didn't hear a whole lot I am not ashamed to admit I was staring at her arse. And then I heard my angel say her name. "Hermione Lyra Black" I looked over at Sirius in shock. The long lost Black Heiress was finally found and apparently the person who took her was none other then headmaster Dumbledore. Oh he was about to be put through the ringer by the house of Black.
I see her sit down and I am silently praying to all the deity's she gets into Gryffindor. I have never felt this way about a woman since Lily. And, we decided that we were better off as friends since we dated all throughout sixth year and it just didn't feel right. And, I secretly have a feeling she is in love with Remus. I told him to go for it I think he is still working up the nerve and I wish them all the happiness in the world. But, when I looked into Hermione's eyes I felt like I was home. I felt possessive of her like I wanted to kill all other men who looked at her. She was mine she just didn't know it yet. I now understood what my father said when he talked about my mother. I will make her mine even if it takes my final breathe. All the sudden that hat decided, "Better be Gryffindor" the hat shouted out.
She stands with grace and looks over at the Slytherin table and she smiles at Regulus and he smiles back at her, but glares at Dumbledore. Oh yes that old man would be paying, and they would have house of Potter standing behind them. I just hoped Sirius would accept me and help me get his sister to fall in love with me. She looks over and I feel Sirius standing. She breaks out into a run right into his arms, I silently wish it was me in his place. And, hopefully it will be soon I just had to be patient and pull out all the stops to make her mine by the end of the year. Sirius caught her and held her close spinning her around. And then helped her sit next to me and he claimed the spot the opposite side of her. She smiled at him and then smiled at Remus and finally her gorgeous eyes met mine I noticed if you looked close she had a baby blue ring around her eyes. Her eyes were exotic I could get lost in them forever. "Welcome to the best house of Gryffindor" Sirius says smiling at her. "These are my best mates Remus Lupin and James Potter" he proclaims loudly. "Our other friend Peter is in the Hospital wing and Lily is over at the Slytherin table with her friend Severus Snape (AN:/ yes they are friendly with each other in this fanfiction don't like it you know where the exit is) she is also in Gryffindor" he tells her.
All I want to do it wrap my around her make all the eyes of the male population stop looking at her scream from the roof tops that she was mine! Merlin I hope I can make her mine sooner rather then later. "Oh Remus is that Hogwarts a History that is one of my favorite books" she says with so much excitement.
I file that information away for later she is beautiful and smart a strong combination and the power I feel she is my perfect match. "Yes it is James and Sirius got me this for my birthday it's a first addition and its signed by the author of the book" he says with the same excitement. Someone that enjoys books just as much as him.
She looks at him with wide eyed "that must have cost them a fortune you have amazing friends" then she gives me a look of confusion and I realize that I had begun to make a plate for her. I had never done this for anyone but she shouldn't have to raise her perfect delicate hands to do anything. "Thank you James" she says and starts to eat.
I begin to eat as well the hall was whispering about her I started making a mental list of men population I wish to kill. For looking at her for lusting for her. Ugh I so hope my fellow maurders stand with me and help me get her. I am already whipped, and proud of it. She yawns and Sirius stands as do I. "I will take you to the common room we can give you a tour of the school tomorrow don't want my favorite sister to get lost. Oh and I will write to mother and father to tell them the news if Reggie (AN again going to like each other in this fanfiction at least when they aren't home) hasn't beat me to it." He tells her taking his arm in hers.
She looks unsure like this is all new to her. Maybe she wasn't raised in the world and doesn't know the pureblood customs. This would be a lot harder especially the betrothal contact. I should write home and talk with dad about this, it's a scary feeling but amazing at the same time. Remus joins us and we all walk towards the Gryffindor common room. The twins talk all the way there "Courageous" Sirius tells the fat lady. We walk to the girls stairs and Sirius looks petrified at the thought of letting her go.
She seems to understand and I see it in her eyes as well even though she is putting up a front. "I will see you in the morning Sirius please apologize to Regulus for me for not having time to talk with him as well" she says and then lets out a yawn. Waving to me and Remus she hugs Sirius and then walks up the stairs.
Sirius stands there till the door closes and then goes to the coach next to the fire not many are back from the dining hall yet so we have mostly privacy. "Dear Merlin Prongs I could smell the pheromones and alpha male musk coming off you in waves what the fuck was that?" Remus looks at me.
Sirius looks at me fist clutched if looks could kill I would be six feet under right now. "Don't tell me that was for my sister Prongs I just got her back" he says to me.
I put my head in my hands, "I don't know how to explain it Pad I seen her and my Magic just called out to me like it was claiming her and I could feel her magic it felt so strong. I seen her and I wanted to write home to mom and dad and tell them to send me the betrothal rings. I wanted to kill every man in that room that even looked at her. This is way worse then Lily. I looked at her and all I thought is she is Mine!" I say looking him in the eyes so he could be the seriousness of the situation.
He looks at me with wide eyes "Well I believe you and I trust you but if you do win her over if you ever and I mean ever hurt her no one will ever find your body you may be my brother but that is my twin my only sister I have lost her once because of that headmaster I wont lose her again she is my everything prongs" she tells me.
I nod in understanding "Will you guys help me we have till the end of the year or I might lose my chance forever" the thought of not having her kills me.
Remus and Sirius nod. "We will mate operation make Ms. Black the next Lady Potter is a go all we know about her so far is her favorite book is Hogwarts a history and we cant do much with that so our main priority is getting to know what she likes what she doesn't like too woo the witch" Remus says.
I nod and the three of us raise our glasses of Butterbeer that we keep in plain sight but in secret so no one touches it. "To Operation Lady Potter" we cheer. I just hope I can make it happen and soon.
Hermione's Point of View:
I lay in bed and stare at the paper in my hand "Hocrux's 1. Locket- Regulus Black 2. Diary- Lucius Malfoy 3. Didium- Room of Requirements 4, Cup- Bellatrix's vault 5. Snake- Voldemort 6. Ring- Gaunt House" I read quietly. I had to find these and destroy them then the only soul left is what lies in Voldemort since Harry isn't born yet. "Oh Harry how am I going to do this without you?" I whisper.
The tears began to fall I was back in time I could change things for the better I could give Harry a better life, and keep Ron and Ginny away from him. Yes I am changing the future but I don't trust them still today along with Molly and Dumbledore. All the sudden my curtains open and there stands a beautiful red read and staring at me is Harry's eyes. This must be Lily Evans. She has sympathy in her eyes and slowly sits on my bed. "You must be Hermione Black I am Lily Evans the head girl and a fellow Gryffindor. You seem upset anything I can do to help? I can go get Regulus or Sirius if that's what you need." She says in a comforting voice.
I don't know what happen maybe it was because it was finally hitting me I had to go through another war, and the world's salvation was on my shoulders. Or knowing I might never see Harry again, and if I mess up it will be on his shoulders again. I fell into her lap and cried. Lost of my childhood, Harry, my past, who I was, who I was going to be, what I had to do. It was all to much. Dumbledore was to blame all I wanted was to curl in my bed at Grimland palace with Harry and drink hot chocolate. She just held me as I cried letting me cry it all out. Being a friend which is what I truly needed right now. After a while I finally calmed down and pulled away she got me some ice cold water and helped me lay down. "Thank you Lilly" I whispered and slowly fell asleep. Not knowing what tomorrow might hold. I thought nightmares would be coming, but I dreamed of man with glasses, unrulay black hair and hazel eyes and felt safe and protected throughout the night.
Sirius's Point of View:
We sat by the fire for a while when Lilly came though looking at us confused, "Where is Hermione I wanted to meet her before I went to bed in case she needed help finding her way around or anything since I am head girl this year, and of course James being head boy could have helped her, but I have a feeling she needs a friend who is a girl. Merlin knows I do" She says.
We let out a laugh because its true she has Alice but she is always complaining about wanting more friends that are girls, but the others only use her to get close to us. "She went up not to long ago depending on how tired she is she might still be awake for you to talk to her." I tell her.
She smiles and nods and goes up to the room where my sister is sleeping. I still couldn't believe that she was back and there was a prophecy about her and Dumbledore was the one who sent her away. My uncle Alphrad use to say that our parents would doat on us left and right and loved us unconditionally they didn't start to turn dark until my sister was taken. Maybe they can change now that she is back I hope so. Then me and Reggie wont have to pretend to hate each other when we are at home anymore. Though I spend most of my time at the Potters anyway. "So how should we start this courting process?" Remus asks.
All the sudden the fat lady swings open and there is Peter. Lately I have been getting the vibe from him that he is dark, but we have been friends for so long I hope I am wrong about this. "Hey Pete" I call out. He comes and joins us "You missed it my sister came back and James here thinks she is the one so we are going to try and woo her. I cant think of someone better for her then my best friend. Plus he is a powerful wizard. I already gave him the talk and he got my blessing though getting Reggie's might be slightly more difficulty" I say.
The look of fear and uncertainty flashed on his face but he quickly covered it up, "It's not him I fear but Lady Hermione's I need to be in her good gracious if I even have a shot I was thinking we could have star sparklers fall down the great hall as soon as she steps inside for lunch and a large banner fall that says the Maurders, Lilly, Severus, and Reggie welcome Lady Hermione Lyra Black to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. And, then have a frozen stasis charm on one of them put it in a unbreakable glass jar and present it to her. Since we don't know much about her except she's a black and Black tradition is to name children after stars" James proclaims looking proud of his idea.
And, it wasn't a bad one either just how to get it done? We all looked over at our resident book worm. "Well if we could get just one star and then use an illusion spell like they do on the great hall celing and make it look like there are stars all around we could make it work it wouldn't be able to be done at lunch but definitely at dinner time if we worked most of the night and during free period." He tells us.
James jumps and gives him a great big hug and I have to laugh, "Progsie I thought you had a thing for my sister not for Moony here" I say. Which gets Moony and Progs to laugh.
Wormtail looks confused which is normal for him. Why are we friend with him again I don't understand. "What is so special about this girl I mean she is just Sirius's sis…" he started to say.
But, he didn't get to finish because he was being held by the neck on the wall by none other then Scion James Charles Potter. "Never speak ill will of Hermione again in my precense hell even when I am not around. She is mine! She is the light of the world! My everything! If you do I swear on Merlin they will be your last days on earth because I will hunt you down and end you!" He snarls. Wormtail looks ready to pee himself and nods as much as he is able to James drops him on his ass and spins around. The common room is full and quiet. "That goes for everyone Hermione Black is under the protection of the house of Potter harm her and there will be hell!" he says.
Lily comes down the stairs looking strained. I look at her in worry and Remus rushes to her side. Love sick puppy, "I am fine Moony promise. It's Hermione" That got me and James attention "I went to introduce myself to her and she just broke down in tears she is sleeping now I just feel bad for her she looked so heartbroken and lost" Lily told us.
I went into protective mode my sister was upset I had to make it better, "Remus Prongs lets get to work on operation stargaze and make a full proof plan on how to make her have an amazing day tomorrow." I say we all go to the room I realized I left Wormtail out of it and shrugged. Maybe some friendships aren't meant to last.
AN:/ I hope you enjoyed this second chapter and hope to continue this story. Now you know the possesive wizard is James Potter. And, I am not a fan of Wormtail, and love Severus and feel like him being in there lives is a good thing. And, I feel like Sirius needed that family connection. I feel like I should kill of Lady Black and make Orion an amazing dad who has been under the impurius charm this entire time. Let me know what you think about the idea,
