Chapter 1: New World, Some explains
"And done. There" Marie finished bandage him.
"Do you know who is he, Marie?" Callie asked her. Marie turned to Callie and said "I don't know. Why are you asking me?".
"It's weird that he crashed outside our yard. His clothes is not fresh especially his robe. It looks fresh to him. And those weapons outside are rusty and old too" Callie told Marie. Marie just sighed and turned to unconscious inkling and said "I don't know, Callie. Let's just wait for him waking up and we will get answers from him".
"Oh, Callie. Can you pick up those weapons outside?" Marie asked her and Callie nodded.
Callie goes outside and tries to pick up the large sword. She felt heavy and shocked about this.
"W-What! How much ton is this?! Marie, Help me!" Callie called Marie out.
"What's wrong, Callie?" Marie asked her.
"This thing is heavy! It's heavier than Dynamo Roller! I can't pick it up!" Callie told her.
"Really?!" Marie goes to help her and surprised about this. "OMG! It is really heavy! Try pick the another!" Marie told her and Callie nodded.
They let go of the large sword and try to pick up the second sword. They surprised about this weapon. It's heavy too.
"This thing is heavy too!" Callie tole Marie. "Yeah! Try the small one!". Callie nodded.
They let it go and pick up the small sword. They can pick it up but It still heavy.
"This one is almost heavy! We can barely lift it up!" Callie said and also shocked about this small weapon. It's heavy too
They let go and catch their breath. Callie said "All of them are heavy. No one can't pick them up that easily".
"Let's get inside and waiting for him to wake up" Marie told her and Callie nodded. They both go inside.
2 hours later.
"Uuuuhhhhh. He isn't waking up. How long are we going to wait? We've been waiting for 4 hours" Callie felt bored.
"We only waited for 2 hours and be patience, Callie" Marie turned to her and told her. "Fine".
Suddenly, the inkling boy is waking up. They both turned to him.
An inkling boy slowly opened his eyes and he saw two persons are looking at him.
"Huh?... WAAAHHHH! Who the heck are you ?!" the inkling boy shouted in shock. Squid Sisters surprised that he just woke up and asked what they are.
"Umm. We're an inkling and why are you surprising about it" Marie told him.
"A-An inkling?! This is the first time I hear it! You have pointy ears! Are you an Elf?! And what wrong with your hair?!" he asked them.
"An elf? No, we are squids and our hair is tentacles. You also a squid or an inkling too" Callie told him.
"Huh?!" He checked his body, ears and hair. "What! What is happening to me?!" He panicked and shocked about his new appearance.
"Umm. Are you having amnesia?" Callie asked him. "No, I don't!".
"Would you mind calming down? Tell us what happens to you? And why did you crash to our yard?" Marie asked him and Callie added "What are those three weapons? I've never seen them before and why are they so heavy?".
"Three weapons?" He asked in confusion. "Yeah. They are outside our yard" Callie told him and pointed them outside.
"Wait. Why are they outside my …?" He said and realized that he doesn't have his grimoire.
"WAAHHH! My grimoire is gone! Hey! Have you seen my grimoire!" He asked them.
"Grimoire? No, I only see you crashed with those weapons. I don't see any "grimoire" thing with you" Marie answered. "Really?!" He said and Marie nodded.
"Can you tell us what's your name?" Marie asked him.
"Oh Uh. My name is Asta. Can you tell me where am I?" Asta asked them as he looks around.
"You're at our home. I'm Marie" Marie introduced herself. "And I'm Callie" Callie added with a cheerful voice.
"We are idols. We called ourselves Squid Sisters" they told him and did a "Stay Fresh!" pose.
'Idols? They reminded me of Kahono' Asta thought about his friend at Sea Temple.
"Tell us what happens to you and why are you injured?" Marie asked him.
"Well, I remember my friend Yuno and I are fighting the devil" Asta got irrupted by them. "A devil?! Like a real devil?!".
"Uhh Yeah. Yuno and I are fighting him. He's strong. Everyone is trying against him with their magic but it didn't work" Asta told them.
"Magic? Magic does exist? They both said and thought about magic is actually exists.
"Yeah. In my place, everyone has magic but except me. I only have anti-magic, the ability to nullify any kind of magic" Asta explained.
"Woah. Inklings in your place sure do are strong" Callie said in excitement with star eyes.
"No. We don't look like you" Asta told them and they both confused.
"What do you mean?" Marie asked.
"We're actually a human. Unlike you" Asta told them and they both silently.
"What?!" They both yelled in shock.
"Human?! Humans are still alive!" Callie shakes him. "Yes. I was a human!" Asta gets shaken and said.
"Wait! If you were a human then how did you become an inkling?! Did something happen to you?!" Marie asked him.
"I don't know how I became one. I remember the devil opened the portal. I got pulled into it and ended up being here" Asta answered.
"Portal? Hmm" Marie holds her chin and thinks.
"I guess you from another world." Marie told him.
"Eh?... What! I came from another world!" Asta shocked and Marie sweat-dropped. Callie on the other hand, who is excited to meet someone from another world.
"Really? He really came from another world?" Callie said with star eyes.
"I'm not sure. He said he was a human and ended up being here. It must be he from another world" Marie answered.
"WAAHH!" Asta screamed in panic. "Hey, calm down. You're so loud" Marie tried to calm him down.
"Calm down?! How the heck I can calm down?! I stuck into a new world, got a new body and my friends are worrying me! I don't know how to get back!" Asta yelled in panic. Squid Sisters covered their ears.
"Look! If you wanted to get back then you need to calm down and stop yelling! We'll figure this thing out, Ok?!" Marie told him and felt annoyed.
Asta tried deep breathes to calm down and said "Ok".
"Good. I need a private chat with Callie" Marie said. They both go to the kitchen and have a conversation.
"What's wrong, Marie?" Callie asked.
"Nothing. It's just he's very loud" Marie replied.
"What are we going to with him?" Callie asked.
"We'll let him stay here until we figure out how to get him back" Marie answered.
"Really?" Callie said with puppy eyes and Marie nodded.
"But first we need to get him a job" Marie told her. "How about Ammo Knight?" Callie replied back.
"I'm not sure. Maybe we ask Sheldon and explain everything about Asta so he'll accept him" Marie said.
"I guess that's the only way. Also, I think we should let him play Turf War too" Callie added.
"Turf War?" Marie asked in confusion.
"Yes, We'll teach him how to play. I want to see how he play. Also, He can make more coins for playing Turf War" Callie explained.
"Alright. We'll ask Sheldon to let him play Turf War in the afternoon. In the morning, there are only a few inklings come to play."Marie told her. "Ok. That's settled down. Let's tell him" Callie said. They went back to the living room.
"Hey Asta" Callie called him and Asta turned to them. "Guess what? You're going to stay here" Callie told him "Really?!".
"Yes. But you"ll pay rent" Marie told him. Asta realized he didn't bring the coins with him and said "Oh Crap! I didn't bring any coins with me!"
"Don't worry. Callie and I are agreeing on choosing you to work at Ammo Knight" Marie said. "Ammo Knight?" Asta asked.
"It's a weapons shop. The shopkeeper is Sheldon. We'll ask him and explain everything about you" Marie told him. "Wait! Are you sure that's Ok?!" Asta asked.
"Don't worry. Sheldon knew us. He is one of our close friends so he won't tell anyone." Callie answered.
"Also, we'll ask him for letting you play Turf War in the afternoon" Callie added. "Turf War?" He asked.
"Turf War is a match for 8 players who split into two teams of up to four. Players must ink the most turf to win the match. You only have three minutes to cover them" Marie explained to him.
"Also, you can Ranked Battle. It's the same as Turf War but the difference is they will gain up your rank" Marie added. "My Rank?" Asta asked and the smoke came out of his head.
"Yes, you are a new starter. Your Rank will start at C-. There are four modes. Rainmaker, Clams Blitz, Tower Control and..." Marie got irrupted by him.
"AHHH! Too much information!" Asta's head exploded and he fainted on the ground.
Marie sweat-dropped at his stupidity and Callie laughed at him.
"Ha Ha Ha! I guess his head can't hold much information!" Callie laughed. Marie sighed and said "Let's just wake him up. Tomorrow, we don't have work so we'll teach him".
After Asta woke up, Squid Sisters showed him around the house and even showed him a guest room for him to stay. Asta felt happy about his guest room. He started clean his room. Asta told Marie that he would do chores for them. Marie asked him why. He said that he used to do chores at Black Bulls hideout so Marie taught him how to do laundry except cooking. He doesn't know how to cook.
Asta took a shower and he gets dressed back in his dirty clothes. Tomorrow, Asta will ask them to buy some same clothes that he wears.
"Asta! Callie! Dinner is ready!" Marie called them out. They both come to the kitchen.
"Food!" Callie said in a cheerful voice.
They both sit down and eat the food. For Asta, He started to like it.
"Waahh! This is really good!" Asta said with star eyes while eating.
"Thanks. I'm glad you like it" Marie said with a smile.
"Hey Asta. Can you tell me more about you? Callie asked in curiosity.
"About me? Well, I'm an orphan when I was a kid" Asta told them. "You're an orphan? Where do you live?" Callie asked.
"I live in the church with Sister Lily, Father Oris and five siblings. Well, they aren't related but we still called ourselves a family" Asta scratched his back of his head.
"Really? That's nice" Marie said with a smile.
"Do you girls have a family?" Asta asked them.
"Well, we do. We have our parents. They lived in Calamari County. That's our hometown. Callie and I are cousins" Marie told him. Asta confused and asked" Wait! I thought you girls are sisters".
"Well, "Squid Sisters" is the title for our band. "Squid Cousins" sounds weird so we go for "Squid Sisters"" Marie told him
"Marie and I are living here together. We both considered ourselves as sisters" Callie told him. "Oh. That's nice" Asta replied.
After they finished their dinner. They are cleaning the table and washing the dishes. Marie watched TV while Callie is taking a shower.
Asta yawned and told Marie "Well, I'll go to sleep. Goodnight Marie"
"Goodnight" Marie replied back.
Asta goes to his room and lays down on the bed. Asta sighs and looks at the window "I hope they are doing well".
