chapter 2 of Steve and Kono this will be season 1 episode 2 and in this episode will be where our Hawaiian girl Kono starts to delevoped a crush on Steve, Oh and I'm currently in the process of fixing some small mistakes I made on chapter 1. Hawaii Five-O Steve and Kono chapter 2
A man was sitting in the back of a SUV talking to his son when a white van plowed into the SUV, the body guards were trying to defend themselves but to no avail some were dead and the assilants took the man leaving his worried son on video chat.
(Intro starts here)
"When he was five years old, I asked my son Steve what he wanted to be when he grow up, he said "I want to be a cop dad, like you" I told him be anything but that. The life of a cop is not easy. It's not that I'm proud of the work I did, but more then anything I have, uh... I have regrets. The toll it took on my family is something I think everything and now uh... I'm alone now. Losing my wife was almost bearable but giving up my kids that, uh... that just broke me. I'm so proud of but they'd never know it, I've missed so much of their, you know, watching them grow up and all. I guess that's the way it has to be unitl I figure this out." Steve didn't get the chance to listen more when once again heard his door open and close, it was Danny coming in with a bag in his hand. Steve shut off his recorder and shut the box, "What is it with you and coming in other people houses?" Steve asked, "I knocked" Danny retorted "I didn't hear you knock." Steve said ,"Well I did, I knocked and I saw you through the window and I thought you nodded." Danny said "I didn't nod" Steve said "Would you like me to leave?" Danny asked his partner, "Depends, what's in the bag?" Steve asked, "Oh, those uh, Donut-looking thing they sell around the block." Danny answerd "Malasadas?" Steve asked, "Yeah, whatever they are. They're fried and they taste good, you want one?" He asked his partner, "No, not without bypass surgery. And you can stay just don't eat near my stuff." Steve said, "Can I have a napkin?" Danny asked, "Yeah" Steve said giving his partner a look, "What was that look? What, did they teach how not to spill in the Army." Danny asked, "It's the Navy, okay? The Navy." Steve said slightly offended of not knowing the differnce. "It's not the spill, it's the tie. No one in Hawaii wears a tie." Steve said "Oh I'm I like to look like a professional." Danny said now being offended,
"Professional what?" Steve asked, "Okay this is my favorite tie." Danny said, "Mm-hmm" Steve said, "Grace gave this tie for Father's Day." Danny said Oh and also, just so you know back in Jersey and every normal city in the country this is what a dectective looks like." Danny said, "Really?" Steve asked in scarscam, "Yeah, really" his partenr retroted, "Yeah, shirt, tie, and donut crumbs, you missed a spot." Steve said and Danny wiped his shirt, "Look you're never going to fit in looking like you're from the mainland." Steve said "Who says I want to fit in?" Danny asked his partner, "I don't want to fit in, I want to look like I'm from the mainland, okay?" Danny said and Steve rolled his eyes. "I got 87 homicide case under my belt looking like this." Danny said "Not in 110-degree weather, you don't. I'm just saying." Steve retrorted, "I'm not taking off the tie, so leave it alone." Danny said, "Fine" Steve sighed in defeat, "You want to discuss my shoes." Danny asked now instantly regertting it, "Now that you mentioned it, patent leather loafers?" Steve asked, "Will you, uh, do me a favor please?" Danny asked his partner, "Just let it go." Danny said, Steve sighed again close the box and sat down, "That's your dad's stuff?" he asked Steve "Yeah" he answered, "You get anything from it?" Danny asked, "More questions then answers. You talked to the Coast Guard?" Steve asked Danny. "Yeah. Uh they didn't find Victor Hesse's body yet." Danny said and that was not what Steve wanted to hear, "That does not mean they won't." Danny said trying to reassure his partner, "What if he's alive?" Steve asked, "You empty a mag into his body." Danny said, "Right" Steve agreed "He's fish food. Look, Admiral Shepard knows that this is the guy that killed your father, he's got crews on it 24/7. They will find Hesse's body." Danny said as Steve's phone ringed "Yes Governer" Steve answered. After the phone call Steve and Danny is in the Camaro making their way to the crime scene, "Kiddnapping victim's name is Roland Lowry. His car was T-boned an hour ago. Gunshots were exchanged, passengers were killed. This all happened in broad daylight." Steve explains, "Well that seems like a pretty messy grab just to yank an ordianry guy off the streets." Danny said "This isn't an ordianry guy. Lowry was ex-NSA, he used to have top-secret security clearance. Which means his abduction could be a national security threat." Steve said "Right, what else did the Governer say?" Danny asked "She said "Find him"." Steve said. Chin and Kono arrived at the crime scene along with Steve and Danny, "Hey got your message." Chin told his friend, "Good, let's start processing. Governer's task force we'll take it from here." Steve said "Chin, Kono, stay with the SUV. Danny and I are on the van." Steve ordered, "Officer Lee" Chin greeted but he ignored him. "North winds must be coming in early; I just got a chill." Kono said "you know, I trained that guy and now he can't even look me in the eye." Chin said, "Forget him cousin. My police academy graduation dinner's at Haleiwa Joe's at 7:30. Can you make it?" Kono asked her cousin. "I'll try, car was a rental." Chin said looking a the registration." Chin said, "Come on, you're going to make it to my graduation right?" Kono asked, "You know I don't think that's such a good idea. Between our family and HPD..." Chin was cut off by his cousin, "I don't care what they think. You're the reason I became a cop." Kono said, "Well, a ceremony doesn't make a cop, doing the job makes a cop." Chin said "I want you there." she insisted, "No you don't, they think I'm dirty Kono. They're gonna paint you with the same brush. I'm doing this for you." Chin said and Kono rolled her eyes, he notice a security camera that points directly to the crime scene, "Stay on the car, I'm gonna pull the footage from that traffic camera see if they got anything." Chin said. While Chin pulls the traffic cam footage Steve finds a bullet, "SS-190 armor piercing rounds. Thees were definitely prepared." Steve said, "Definitely not a local job." Danny said, "What do you got?" Steve asked his partner, "This van was reported stolen two days ago." Danny answered "That intersting." Steve said, "What's intersting?" Danny asked, "This is density-layer ballistic glass, laminated onto a shield of resilient ploycarbonate." Steve said, "Why can't you just say "bulletproof"? I mean how hard is it?" Danny asked his partner, "Get Chin to call the security company see where they going." Steve order then Kono came to the window of the van with the Lowry's phone, "Guys, Roland's last call was at 6:15AM." she said "Same time he was abducted, who did he call?" Danny asked her, "His son, Evan." Kono answered "We got a witness, nice work Kono." Steve said with a smile and she blushed. "Evan, do you have any idea where your dad was going this morning?" Steve asked, "No, I mean he probably told me but I was only half listening." Evan said as he sighed softly worried about his dad, "It was some big meeting." he said, "Do you know what it was about?" Danny asked him, "We don't really talk about his work." Evan said "Did your dad had any disagreement with anyone? Can you think of anyone that would want to hurt your dad?" Steve asked the boy, "No, I'm telling you he's the most boring person you'll ever meet." Evan answered, "What about your mom, where's she?" Danny asked, "All right, buddy look they were bodyguards. Do you have any idea why your dad would hire bodyguards?" Steve asked the boy, "Seriously?" he asked, "Yeah" Steve answered, "Bodyguards? N-no I have no clue. I can't beleive, that could've been the last time I ever talked to my dad and I called him a dictator." Evan said as the door opened and a woman called his name and asking if was okay and offered the boy to stay with her. Steve, Danny, and Kono left Evan under the care of the woman who was comfronting him, "Who's that?" Steve asked, "Name's Natalie Reed, she's Roland's girlfriend." Kono answered, there was something about Natalie that bothered the former Navy SEAL, "Does she know who would grab her boyfriend?" Steve asked, "No idea." Kono answered, "All right stay close, if this is a kidnap and ransom, then the abductors might try to make contact and they do, I want someone who can run the trace." Steve Kono knowing she was pretty damn good with tech, "Okay" Kono said "Hey listen, give us a couple hour, we'll run down some leads, and we'll relieve you. I promise you, you won't miss your graduation." Danny said. Danny thinks of Kono like a little sister so if makes a promise to family he'll deliver on his promise, "It's cool brah." Kono said as Chin walked in, "Grabbed the video footage from the traffic cam near crime scene. I'll mine it, see if there's anything on there that can help us indenitfy the shooters." Chin said, "Did you get in touch with the security company that Roland hired today?" Steve asked his old friend, "Yeah, I spoke to the owner. Turns out, Roland hired the bodyguards for an appointment he had this morning." Chin said, "Where were they going?" Steve asked, "Hickam Air Force Base." Chin answered, "Know anyone at Hickam?" Danny asked his partner, Steve didn't bother to answer he just made his way out the door. "A stupid question, of course you do." Danny said while Kono just looked at Steve with a dimpled smile, she would be lying if she said she didn't find him attractive.
Steve and Danny arrived at Hickam Airforce base, "Roland became paranoid firing off memos in the middle of the night directly to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Which pissed off his immediate superiors to no end." Nathanson said "What were the memos about?" Steve asked him, "He was constantly telling us how vulnerable we were to attack. In fact he moved to Hawaii not retire, but to carry on with his work. He felt this where he could do the most good." Nathanson said, "What does that mean?" Danny asked, "Hawaii's in a strategic position in the global theater and that the United States Pacific Command is directly responsible for 150 million square miles. Literally half the Earth. Why do you think Pearl Harbor was a target?" Nathanson asked, "Is that why he wanted to see you? Cause he felt we were still vulnerable?" Steve asked "He said he was working on something that could prove it." he answered, "Okay what was it?" Danny asked intersted on what Roland was working on, "He didn't say he said he wasn't comforable talking about it over the phone, so he was bringing it over today." Nathanson answered, "So Roland was about to expose some serious threat to the island." Danny said, "That's why I took the meeting." Nathanson said, "That's why he was kidnapped." Steve said. Back at the Palace, Chin was taking a good look at the footage from the crime scene and he saw a wounded man running from the scene of the crime. he pulled up another camera to find out where he was going and he called Steve, "Mcgarrett" Steve answered on the other line, "Steve we got a wounded runner injured from the gun fight and he went to the Kahiko on Kalia Road." Chin said "Then that's we're going, Nice work Chin." Steve said to his friend. Steve and Danny are in the Camaro while Chin was in his motorcycle making their way the hotel where the scumbag was at, they pulled up to the hotel and started looking for him. Steve noticed the bloodstain on the elevator button and it was on the 36th floor. A few minutes they got to the floor and followed his trial to the roof and Steve found him passed out from blood loss, "Found him" Steve yelled, Steve checked his pulse to see if he was alive, "Is he dead?" Danny asked his partner "Not yet." he answered, Danny decided to spary him with a hose to wake him up, "Nice nap princess?" Danny asked him, "Who are you?" Danny asked but he didn't answer him, "The man asked you a question." Chin said but not having any luck either. "Where's Roland Lowry? What do you want with him?" Steve asked him but like Chin and Danny he got no response. "Hey, I got shot too. You might want to get that looked at." he said then he explained how bad the a bacterial infection would be, "Danno move, Chin hold him down." he ordered, he forcibly his index finger on his shoulder "What is the matter with you?" Danny asked not pleased with what his partner is doing but Steve ignored him, "Give me a piece of paper." Steve ordered and Chin gave him one and placed his bloodly print on the paper, "Run that print." he ordered, "Let's go" Steve demanded and made him hanged him from the ledge "Hey, are you out of your mind, this not Guantanamo. You cannot hang a guy off a roof." Danny yelled at his partner, "WHERE'S ROLAND LOWRY?" Steve demanded "All I have to say is that you came at with a gun, we struggled and you fell. What do you think of that, huh?" Steve asked "Hey, listen to me, listen to me. If the suspect dies he's no longer has the ability to speak. Ergo, he's useless to us." Danny said, "You think anybody's gonna care? you just killed two people, buddy. I'd be doing the world a favor." Steve said and he could swear he could see a wet spot on his pants, "That's enough!" Danny yelled, "Ladies you can stop now. I just got a finger print match off an Interpol database." Chin said and Steve looked at Danny, "Ergo?" Steve asked raisng an eyebrow but Danny was having none of it, "You and I are going to have a long talk later, you understand? GET HIM UP!" Danny yelled and Danny did what he was told, "The guy's name is Sergei Ivanovich. Serbian national with a rap sheet a mile long. He's part of a gang who pulled mostly bank jobs, jewelry heiest. Smash and grab type stuff." Chin said, "Thieves, thieves take things, not humans." Danny said "Maybe they graduated to kidnapping." Chin said "Or maybe they knew what Roland wanted to show the general and they wanted to get thier hands on it. Either way take this guy to the office, throw him in a hole. Then I want you to run deep background. Find out when got to the island, where he's been, all known associates, the whole shot." Steve ordered, "Got it." Chin said, then Steve started walking, "Where you going?" Danny asked "We are going to Roland's house, okay? These guys are thieves, I want to know what they were after." Steve said, "You're going that way?" Danny asked as Steve realized he was going the wrong way. (AN:This makes me laugh everytime)
"Shut up" Steve told his partner and headed back to the door with Danny following him. Chin took Ivanovich back at HQ while Steve and Danny made their way to Lowry's house and Steve decided to break the silence, "Let it go, just let it go." Steve said, "Please do not speak to me right now." Danny said "So we're going to go through that whole thing again? Why do we..." Steve didn't get a chance to answer his second question because Danny cut him off. "Can you zip it for a second? I'm gonna speak now, it's my turn." Danny said, "Sergei Ivanovich, he's a suspect. That means we treat him as a source of information and then we book him, okay? Torturing and killing is not part of the job description." Danny said "I wasn't going to kill him Steve retorted, "Why are you talking?" Danny asked his annoying partner, "I'm just trying to explain..." he was cut off again by Danny, "Why are your lips moving?" Danny asked, Steve held up his hand in surrender "Go ahead" he encourged, "I know the governor gave you a free pass, okay? But immunity and means does not entitle you to hang a guy off a roof. I was about to break Ivanovich, I just need a little time to get into his head. That's how police work is done, is that too theoretical for you, huh?" Danny asked "Can I speak?" Steve asked his partner, "Please!" Danny exclaimed "Okay, that guy was only going to talk out of fear of death." Steve said, "Fear of death?" Danny asked "Fear of death. Did you see the tatoo on his hand?" Steve asked, Danny looked at him in disbelief, "What?" Danny asked, "The blue star, did you see the blue star on his hand? That's a New Belgrade Serbian mafia tatoo. These guys aren't smash and grab types, they kill kids, they slaughter families, that boy is going to lose his father." Steve said "Is everything going to be a personal mission? You hang a guy off a roof because you lost father?" Danny asked, "Danny you know what..." Steve was once again cut off by his mouthy partner, "No no no no no, I swear to God, I just want to know. I want to know because if everything is going to become a personal mission, I count my odds of job security, not to mention survival pretty slim. Okay, we are partners, so if you are going to be the shoot first and ask questions later type of a guy, I would at least like to know where and when to duck." Danny said and Steve gave him a confusing look, "Okay." Steve said "Okay." Danny echoed quietly "Just for the record I wasn't planning on killing him." Steve said "Well that's good." Danny said. A few mintues later they made it to Roland's house and Danny started to name every sercurity measure he had at his house. They started to look inside, "We're looking for his files, note books, or computers." Steve said "Oh, thank you Inspector Obvious. I'll check the back." Danny said, Steve was looking around when Danny notice something about the wall. "Fall asleep with your eyes open again?" Steve asked jokingily "Very funny, Does this wall seem werid to you? I'm no architect but there should be another room here." Danny said. Steve decided to check it out and he knocked on the wall 'For once Danno's right' Steve thought, he moved the shelf and the room they were looking at is every tech guy or girl wet dream, "Wow" Steve said, "This slightly above the level of my expert this expertise." Danny said then he noticed Steve touching the key board, "Hey what are you doing don't touch that." Danny demanded but his demand fell on death ears because Steve didn't listen, "Great, you put a blip in the matrix." Danny said, "We need to find someone who can make sense of this." Steve said "You were in Naval intelligence. None of this looks familiar to you?" Danny asked his partner, "No, I seen super-grade level cryptography before but nothing like this. This is something else, this is like off the grid hacker world." Steve said "Hacker, I think i know a guy who can help us." Danny said "You know a guy?" Steve asked with a raised eyebrow, "Yes, I know a guy, I know people too." Danny retorted, "Okay" Steve said "Do you have any cash on you?" Danny asked
Steve and Danny arrived in Ka'A'Awa Valley, O'ahu looking for Danny's contact, "How did you say you know this guy exactly?" Steve asked his partner, "His name is Adam Charles. First case I work on since I got here six months ago, he got busted for hacking ATMs all arcoss the island. Basically a good kid but got caught up in the wrong crew, they were using him for his skillset." Danny answered his partner, not leaving a signial detal. "Right and you bled for him?" Steve asked his partner "Not really no, I, uh... just put a good word in with the judge. I mean this kid had a scholarship to MIT, the whole nine. He's really a genius, at least 42 minutes of the day." Danny said "What about the rest of the day?" Steve asked his partner, "Baked like a potato." Danny answered "Ah Pakalolo." Steve said (Don't ask that was in the episode) "Yeah he says it helps him see patterns and all codes are basically patterns." Danny said, he sat the bag of lolly pops right in front of him, "Oh my, Dessert before Dinner. Hey Jersy, Aloha." Adam Charles greeted, "Toast" Danny greeted back calling him by his nick name (Which I'll be using from now on) "You're looking all Kama'aina." Toast said as Steve tries not to laugh, "It's the tie right?" Steve asked "Really sells it." Toast says and Steve couldn't hold it any longer as he just laughs quietly. "I don't know what that means. Uh, we need a favor Toast" Danny said, "Grab your stuff, we're going for a ride." Steve said. Meanwhile, Chin called Kono to catch her up to speed, "Hey Kono we got one of guys who grabbed Roland." Chin said, "Did he give you anything?" She asked her cousin, "No, but we found out he's part of a gang of Serbian thieves, I'll send you a picture. Listen do you think you can talk to Evan. Ask if he knows this guy or anything about his dad's business. International contacts, overseas phone calls, anything that can tie Roland to the Serbs." Chin said "Yeah, sure, I'll try." Kono said "How's the kid holding up?" Chin asked his cousin, "As well to be expected, considering his dad was kidnapped." Kono said "Good point, how about you?" he asked, "I'm fine. Why?" She asked her cousin, "Well, you're cutting it kind of close. You might miss your graduation." Chin said "Don't worry. You become a cop by doing the work, not walking across the stage, right? Good news is, you're off the hook. You don't have to be there." Kono said "Well good luck with it kid." Chin said, "Thanks." Kono said, after she hung up Natalie asked Kono if there was any news but nothing concreate, "He won't eat, he won't talk. I'm really worried about him." Natalie said, "Do you have any paper?" Kono asked. Meanwhile back at Rolend's house Toast was on his computer, "Wow, your kidnapped dude's got a sweet setup." Toast said "Yo, take your time Toast, it's just national security." Steve said impatiently "I'll take my time and do it right. Can I smoke in here, guys?" Toast asked "No." both Steve and Danny said in unison, "Harsh" Toast said and got back to work, "No way, this unreal. Like unicorn style. I mean, I heard rumors about this guy online but I thought it was just urban legend. He really did it." Toast said "Did what? What did he do?" Steve asked the hacker, "He built a skeleton key. It's basically a worm that can bypass asymmetric encryption on high grade security networks and also allow remote acess to infrastructure systems." Toast answered and both Steve and Danny didn't understand a word he said "Uh, english please, Toast." Danny said, "Just take a look." Toast said, "Wait wait wait, that's a rendering of the power gird of the entire island of Oahu and the radar array for Honolulu International Airport." Steve said "What did Roland do?" Danny asked, "I don't know, but you're talking about places with heavy-grade asymmertic encryption and your boy here hacked them." Toast said "Roland did that all with this computer?" Danny asked "No, this is all archives and logs of he did. Skeleton key's definitely not on those drives." Toast said as he got up, "My guess is, it was right in there." Toast said, "Okay at least we know what he wanted to show General Nathanson the skeleton key and what it can do." Steve said, "Okay, so hang on if Roland can hack into the island infrastructure, any goverment network computer..." Danny said, "And whoever has him can do the same." Steve finished. Back at Natalie's place, Kono was doing something with the paper and Evan seemed interested, "What are you making?" he asked her, "A crane. In Japan, it's a symbol of peace, honor, and loyalty. I once had to make a thousand of them for my cousin's wedding in Kyoto." Kono said, "Whoa, a thousand?" Evan asked "Yeah, it's kind of a thing. You ever been out of the counrty?" Kono asked the boy "Not really, we never go anywhere. Hawaii's the farthest from Virginia we've been." he answered, Kono pulled her phone out of her back pocket and showed him a photo of Ivanovich, "Do you recognize this man?" Kono asked "No. Is he the man who took my dad?" Evan asked her, "One of them, we got him and we'll get the others, I promise you." Kono said, "Do you think I could try to make one of those?" Evan asked, "I would love to teach you, let me get a piece of paper." she said. Meanwhile back at the palace the guys were looking for the one in charge of this operation, Drago Zankovic and Chin was explaining how he got the tickets and they had doctored passports. (In other words fake passports) "There were three guys on the traffic cam." Danny said, "Let's go a little further back show me all Serbian passports in Hawaii in the last six months." Steve ordered, "Yeah, give me one sec." Chin said, back at Natalie's house Kono was in the kitchen, "Hey Natalie do you have another piece of paper?" she asked "In the top drawer." Natalie answered "I just put some water on for tea, do you want some?" She asked, "Yeah, sure" Kono said, she was looking threw the drawer when she noticed something written in Serbian, at the same time in the palace Danny noticed a blonde woman that looked suspicously like Natalie Reed, "Blow that one up." Danny ordered and Chin did just that, "Nadia Lukovic" Chin said "AKA Natalie" Danny said knowing that Kono and Evan are in trouble. Nadia looked back at Kono "Everything okay?" she asked "Yeah, everything's fine." Kono answered with the fake smile, "Evan's okay?" Nadia asked, "Yeah he's hanging in there." Kono responded and as she closed the drawer Nadia attacked with a knife and while Kono could take her hand to hand but controlling a knife was another story, while she did get lucky with getting the knife away from Nadia, she was no slouch when it came to hand to hand combat. They took the fight outside and Nadia threw Kono in the pool attempting to drown her but she fought back. When Kono got the upper hand, the leader Drago Zankovic showed up with Evan with a gun pointed at the boy's head, "Hey, let her go. I said let her go, NOW!" Drago demanded, Kono reluctantly did what he said, not wanting anything happen to the poor boy, "Come on let's go for a ride." Drago said. They got into Kono's Chevy Malibu and both Naida and Drago were arguing about the skeleton key, while Nadia wanted more time Drago was about Roland giving the skeleton key to the U.S. Military, "Turn left ahead." Nadia demanded, "You shouldn't have involved the boy." she said to her boss, "You should have done a better job, convinced to sell to the open market." Drago retorted, "Treba mi jos vermena." (I needed more time) Nadia said, "More time, it's been months. He was about to hand it over to the U.S. military." Drago said, "You've been watching my dad for months?" Evan asked feeling betrayed that his dad's so called "girlfriend" was planning this from the start with Drago. Kono's phone is now ringing, "That's my boy... boss, if I don't answer he'll know there's something wrong." Kono said hoping they didn't noticed the silp up but they did especially Drago who has a sick smile on his face, "Tell him everything's fine or the boy won't see his next birthday." Drago demanded and boy was close to breaking down but also trying to keep it together, "Steve" Kono said, "Kono, am I on speaker?" Steve asked "Natalie's working with the Serbs. We're on the way to her house, Where are you?" Steve asked "Yeah, everything's great." Kono said, "Copy that, just stay on the line as long as you can. We're running a trace." Steve said knowing that something's wrong. Chin was making a call to trace his cousin's phone, "Yeah I may even take Evan out for a swim in Mokuleia Beach for a swim. I even heard there's some good waves there on this time of day." Kono said, "Okay, you're heading north." Steve said "Exactly" Kono said "Oh crap" she cursed herself in her mind for that slip up, "I know what you're doing." Nadia said taking her phone and handing it to Drago who threw it out the window, "Now take a hard left." Drago said "You want a hard left, I'll give you a hard left." Kono thought and she screetched the car on a hard left and Kono had a statisfied smile on her face, they finally got to the air field a few minutes later, "Take the boy inside." Drago ordered and Nadia nodded, Drago backhanded Kono "You pull another stunt like that again and I'll deliever your head to your boss or should I say boyfriend." Drago said as he smiled smuggly at the latter, "You hit like a girl." Kono said but Drago isn't phased at the insult. (He heard worse) they got inside and Evan saw his dad on a labtop, "DAD!" Evan yelled, "Evan." Roland said noticing his son's distrass as he got up he got hit in the back by one of Drago's men, "No dad"! Evan yelled worried about his father and then Roland notice Nadia restraining Kono's hands with ductape, "Natalie what are you doing?" his asked his "girlfriend", "Dad she's one of them." Evan said, "No, no, no, it can't be." Roland said not beleving what's going on, "Oh shut up! You see, your father has not been very cooperative, but now you're here maybe you can talk some sense into him, huh. Tell him to do whatever..." Drago was cut off by Roland "All right, all right, you win. I'll do waht you want, just don't hurt my son, please!" he said not wanting anything happening to his son, "Leave him alone." Kono demanded, "SHUT UP" Naida yelled while Drago forced Evan on the chair bounding his hands tight with ductape on the chair, "Get to work." he demanded Roland, he typed in his password and Toast called Steve to warn him and the boys, "Yeah Toast, what's up?" Danny asked his C.I., "Jersey look, I don't want to freak you out but..." Toast was cut off by Danny "Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, take the lollipop out of your mouth. I can't understand a word you're saying." Danny said and Toast took the lollipop and threw it on the table. "Look I don't want to freak you out but it looks like the skeleton key just went live." Toast said "Okay, what does that mean?" Danny asked, "Someone's using it, dude." Toast said then the computer started beeping, "No, no, no, That's going to be a problem." Toast said, this wasn't looking good, "What's going to be a problem?" Danny asked his C.I. "The radar just went down." Toast said, "Can we trace the hack?" Steve asked, "No I can't pinpoint the origin. Whatever it is just took down the Honolulu approach rader." Toast said "Why do that?" Chin asked, "So someone can fly in or out undected." Steve said, Meanwhile with Kono was thinking of a way to free herself when she noticed the stray nails on the ground, "That could work." Kono thought, "Make sure the radar is down before they land." Drago ordered "Got it" Roland said reluntantly "What are they making him do?" Evan asked, "I thought I told you to shut up." Drago said "Get away from him." Kono demanded, "Huh?" Drago asked "I said get away from him scumbag." Kono demanded again and gets backhanded again and she landed on the ticket to both the Lowrys and Kono's freedom, "Mogu li je jos ubiti?" (Can I kill her already) "Nah, not yet. She's a good hostage, my hostage!" Drago said, Nadia got Kono back on the chair unaware that she got something to help her cut the ductape "You're dead, bitch. It's only a matter of time." Nadia spat, "We'll see about that." Kono retorted in a whisper. As Steve was driving a jet flew passed them overhead, "Did you catch that?" Steve asked the boys, "Yeah, no markings, no tail number." Danny answered his partner, "You were right not one of ours." Chin said "Where the hell did that come from?" Danny asked, "I don't know, but I do know where it's going. There's a skydiving school around here." Chin said and Steve agreed "Skydiving?" Danny asked "That's right, there is. It's gotta land somewhere right?" Steve asked "Dillinham Airfield." Chin said "That's where they are." Steve said redlining to the airfield.
The Jet now landed on the air strip and they looked to Asian men, Chinese if Kono had to guess. They gave Nadia and Drago the money, meanwhile outside Steve, Chin, and Danny were near the front door, guns drawn "How are we taking the building? What do you think?" Steve asked his partner, "I think if we can get eyes on our people and we go in hot. Is that what you would do." Danny asked his partner "Yes, that what I would do. See, This is a partnership." Steve said "It's like pulling teeth, you know that." Danny retorted, "Come on" Steve said and they made their way to the front door of the building. Meanwhile inside, Kono managed to free herself, "Here it is as you requested." Drago said to his buyers "Dad?" Evan called whisperly called to his father, "Yeah?" He answered his son "I'm sorry I called you a dictator." he apologized. "It's okay, it's okay." Roland said accepting his son's apology, Kono was watching the front door and she saw the man she was hoping to see, she gave a big smile knowing that she was saved along with Roland and his son, outside Steve was looking at Kono, seeing her with a dimplily smile but his mood changed quickly when he saw a mark on her cheek and Chin saw it too, that pissed them off. It was one thing for them a man to hit a woman but it's another ball game if they hit Kono, but the two old friends decieded to keep their emotions under control not wanting to do anything reckless to put Kono in danger especially with a kid present. Chin stayed close to the door since he had a shotgun which is best at close range while Steve climbed the ladder on the left and Danny climbed the ladder on the right. Steve gave Kono the signal to be ready to get down and she nods, "Hey, both of you, listen to me. Get ready to hit the ground." Kono ordered "When" Roland asked "You'll know when, just do it." she said and Evan nodded, Steve got behind the guard and pushed him over the rail and a gun fight starts, Steve slides on a chain and takes out some guys while Chin entered took some guys out of his own with his shotgun and Danny is providing cover fire, Kono and Naida were fighting over her gun when the gun fired on highly explosive tanks, Steve noticed the tanks on fire, "Everybody out now, now, now, now." Steve said, Kono knocks out Naida leaving her in the building along with all the other dead men. Steve, Danny, Chin, Evan, Roland, and Drago managed to get out the building, Steve and Danny noticed Drago getting up and making his escape, "Hey, Hey!" Steve yelled, "Evan, Evan, I got you." Roland said to his son, "Hands up, Hands up." Danny demanded to Drago and cuffed him, "You had me worried there, cuz." Chin said kind of joking but mostly serious, "I had it under control." Kono retorted jokingly, Steve got face to face with Drago and decked him right in the face, "That's for Kono, book him Danno." Steve said, "Is that going to be a thing?" Danny asked his partner, "You don't like it?" Steve asked, "I don't like it." Danny retorted, "I think it's catchy." Steve said and Danny just shook his head, "Hey what are you looking at, walk right this way." he demanded to Drago, he walked over to Kono, "You okay?" Steve asked the rookie "I'm fine boss." she answered to her boss and crush, "I have something that'll prevent scarring." Steve offered, "Thanks" Kono said gratefully. Now back at the Palace, Kono is applying the cream to her cheek where Drago struck her and it worked like a charm and she covered it up with a band-aid. After she was done she straighten up her uniform and she was disapponited that she missed her graduation, when she got out of the locker room, she noticed Chin, Danny, and Steve standing in the middle of the palace, Chin and Danny in their police uniforms while Steve is in his Navy Uniform, Steve gave her a box and she opened the box "Go ahead" Steve gestured, "A Kel-Tec nine-mil. Very Nice." she said "Makes for a good back up weapon. Keep it on your belt or ankle strap. Doesn't need a separtate holster, it served my father well. It'll serve you well too." he said, "Thanks boss." she said "I'm sorry you got put in danger today, we care for each other like a family, so please know we'll do everything we can to protect you." Steve said, Kono gave him a big dimpled smile to Steve and kissed on the cheek which made him blush 50 shades of red "That's for punching Drago for me." Kono said, Danny was next. "He's the patron saint..." he was cut off by Kono who knew exactly what it was, "of law enforcement. I've seen cops wear 'em." Kono said smiling, "Pretty sure with that roundhouse you're never need it. My sergenant gave one when I graduated from the Academy. I always kept me, it's always kept me safe, until I met him." Danny said gesturing to Steve, Last was her cousin Chin, "You really proved yourself out there today. You earned this." Chin said giving her a flashlight/teaser and it said "To My Cousin, Who brings light to darkness." "And for the record, I wouldn't miss your graduation for anything. Now rasie your right hand." Chin ordered his cousin and she did also repeating the oath word for word, "Kono Kalakua, on behalf HPD and as leader of the Governor's task force, I now name you officer, congraulations." Steve said.
*Breaths a sigh of releaf* Finally this is done this took me months to finish. I'm in the process of fixing chapter 1 a little bit I know made some mistakes, don't I fix them as soon as I can. I'm in the process of making an Assassin's Creed fanfiction with two OCs one is mine and the other is a new friend I made on here so stay tuned to that, I'm process of making Chapter 2 of Charmed/Supernatural Crossover and I'll do the second chapter on 2018 Charmed/Supernatural Crossover once I'm done with the one I'm currently doing.
