Sins of Blairwood Grown Up
~The Adventure Begins~
"Heyo, anyone here?" Senshi called out as he and Erma entered through the portal Oslo made.
The duo went walking around the castle inhabiting the island. However, it wasn't long before Senshi and Erma stepped aside, to avoid someone who came flying towards them from behind and crashed into a wall.
"Nice dodge Senshi." Meliodas smiled, picking himself up.
"Hey little Oreo, you might wanna get out of here for this one." Ban said, coming up from behind them.
"I'm not little anymore you know." Erma exclaimed, puffing her cheeks at Ban.
"Maybe, but you're still not prepared for this." Ban smiled, before he was stabbed through the chest from behind.
"You three are not doing your usual destructive greeting." King said, joining the group.
"Fine." Ban sighed, his wound healing. "You've become a real pain, and spoil sport, since Diane got pregnant."
"You call it being a pain, I call it being a responsible and sensible adult." King stated, his spear turning back into a pillow.
With that confrontation done and over with, Ban, Senshi, Erma, and Meliodas, went through the castle, before coming into a large room, where Merlin, Elaine, and Gowther were sitting around, with a human sized Diane walking, or waddling around the room with a tray of tea and cookies in one hand, and the other on a large, full term sized her belly.
"Diane, let me take care of that." King said, taking the tray as his pillow came up behind the shrunken giantess and made her sit in the plushness like it was a recliner.
"King I'm fine, I'm not helpless I'm just pregnant." Diane said putting her hands on her belly.
"With twins. There are a lot of things that could go wrong with your pregnancy if you overexert yourself." King said.
"I don't think serving tea and snacks qualifies as overexertion." Erma said.
"Erma, it's so good to see you again little Oreo." Diane smiled, getting up and hugging the teen.
"It's good to be back Ms. Diane." Erma smiled.
"Please, I've told you before, call me Aunty Diane." She smiled taking Erma's hand and putting it on her belly, letting the teen feel fetal movement kicking against her hand. "The twins always get rowdy when you and Senshi visit. They're happy and know you and Senshi have arrived."
"Well I'm happy to be here for them to." Erma smiled.
"You know, it'll only be a couple years before you and Senshi are in this situation." Diane smiled.
"Not before either of us finish college." Senshi smiled giving Diane a hug.
"Or we're married, at least according to what my dad says." Erma exclaimed.
"So how have things been at school?" Gowther questioned.
"You seem rather different." Senshi said, looking at him.
"He stopped trying to erase his memories again." Merlin exclaimed.
"Good to know, because Senshi's needing his help with him at his best." Erma stated.
"What's up? Is it a memory problem you need help with?" Gowther questioned.
"It's something like that." Senshi said. "There's this club coordinator named, Elizabeth Dommer. She's prejudice towards Erma because of Sam's success being better than her own, and gave us both, an impossible assignment we need for our deadline next week."
"What's the assignment?" Diane questioned.
"We have to write a 400,000 novel manuscript by Friday next week." Erma exclaimed. "I keep telling Senshi he doesn't need to take the entrance test with me, but he's insistent."
"Damn, you'd need the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for something like that." Ban said.
"Unfortunately that dimension doesn't exist, no matter what your manga says." Merlin said. "However, there is something we can do to help with a story line."
"First let's address what Senshi is needing my help for." Gowther said. "Could you please explain the situation?"
"Basically, I think Elizabeth Dommer, is a fraud." Senshi exclaimed, holding up a manuscript. "When we got in there, I spotted her shoving this into her book bag."
"What is that exactly?" Merlin asked, taking the manuscript.
"It's a manuscript for a novel. An' it's good, I'd even go so far as to say, top notch material." Senshi exclaimed as Merlin read through the manuscript.
"So she wrote a top notch manuscript. How does that identify her as a fraud?" King asked.
"She wasn't the one who wrote it." Senshi said. "Another student who she sent crying, wrote it."
"This is some top notch work. Doesn't even look like an amateur wrote it." Merlin said. "An' it was written by Amelia Burnzellie."
"How top notch are we talking about?" Elaine inquired.
"So top notch, it'd do wonders for Elizabeth's ranking in the list of New York Times top Authors." Merlin said. "If Amelia were to get this published, she'd make a lot of money from the first edition."
"That does warrant investigation." Gowther said. "But why didn't you do it yourself Senshi? You have all Seven of the Sin's abilities, as well as your late Grandmother Elizabeth's. Doing something like searching through her memories would have been a piece of cake for you."
"I promised Emiko and Sam that unless I had their permission, I wouldn't use my memory manipulation magic on anyone." Senshi exclaimed.
"He's been keeping that promise since freshman year." Erma exclaimed. "Trust me, he already sent one teacher to the psych ward for messing with their memories, and we wanted to avoid that again."
"That's sensible." Merlin said.
"So, with that information in tow, I'll be sure to keep my distance from this club coordinator, and rummage through her memories and see if I can find any evidence to use against her." Gowther said.
"Try and be as discreet as possible. She's the aunt of our friend Amy." Erma said.
"I will do my best." Gowther said, before Merlin teleported him away.
"So, what will we do with the manuscript we have?" Meliodas questioned.
"I have an idea about that." Senshi smiled, handing Elaine a slip of paper. "Can you drop the manuscript off at this address for me Grandma?"
"Of course, but what's at this address?"
"It's Sam's publishing office." Senshi explained. "I think Amelia deserves to have her work recognized."
"Well, I like the sound of that. Proving she's worth her weight in gold." Elaine smiled, before taking the manuscript and whistling for Oslo.
"An' if it's published under Amelia's name, it'll be impossible for Dommer to take credit for work she didn't do." Diane smiled.
"Exactly." Senshi smiled.
"Now, let's get you both started on this writing project of yours." Merlin smiled. "Follow me to my lab."
Erma and Senshi looked towards one another, before looking back to Merlin and followed her through the castle.
"So I've been meaning to ask." Erma said, as Senshi twirled his drumstick in his fingers. "Where exactly is this place located?"
"It's on an island that was formerly known as the Sky Temple." Merlin explained. "Once it was home to many beings known as Celestials, who were descendants and a less evolved branch of the Goddess Race."
"What happened to them?" Senshi asked, as this was the first time he was hearing this story himself.
"Velhallen Beo happened." Merlin exclaimed. "This was many years before he met Kuroko, but he was assigned to eradicate any trace of the Goddess Race, including their descendants. So Beo went about and exterminated the Celestials, and even collected their wings as his hunting trophies."
"So what brought you back here then?" Erma questioned.
"We had some friends who lived here. They looked exactly like Elizabeth Liones, and the Captain, but their demeanor's were polar opposites their double's." Merlin explained. "The Celestials age differently. For example, a hundred years for us, is ten years for them."
"So every ten years, they would physically show their age." Senshi exclaimed.
"Essentially." Merlin said. "But when we got here, we caught Beo, just as he tore the wings from Solaad's son, who last we'd heard, was just learning to fly."
"So he committed genocide?" Senshi questioned. "What happened then?"
"He managed to get away before we could make him pay." Merlin said. "But with his dying breath, Solaad left this island to us. So, we made it our base of operations, and eventually, our secluded home when we were no longer needed."
"You're nothing like him Senshi." Erma said, grabbing Senshi's hand, knowing how he gets when the acts of Beo are brought up.
"I have his blood flowing through me Erma." Senshi said as they reached Merlin's lab. "He's a part of me, whether I like it or not."
"Well now that we've discussed the topic of how we got the island. Let's get to how you'll be writing that manuscript." Merlin said. "Tell me, did Ms. Dommer restrict you from working together?"
"No actually, she didn't." Erma said, thinking back on what Ms. Dommer said.
"Then this will work out perfectly." Merlin smiled. "Because the two of you will be working on this manuscript together."
"How?"
"First let me explain a few things." Merlin chuckled. "Now Ban reads a lot of manga, and they do get a lot of things wrong, but occasionally, they do get things right."
"An' how does this help us with our project?" Senshi inquired.
"You're both going into the past, and Erma's gonna write the adventures you go on, with the Seven Deadly Sins." Merlin smiled.
"But, won't that change our time line?" Erma asked.
"Actually, the universe doesn't work like that. Have you heard of the Multiverse Theory?" Merlin inquired.
"Yeah, I've heard and read debates about it. But where does Grandpa Ban's manga come into play?" Senshi asked.
"If you travel to the past, you won't change the future you'll return to. You'll just be in a different timeline where things change drastically with every step you make." Merlin exclaimed. "Ban's Dragon Ball Z Manga got that right about Multiverse Theory, with its time travel element."
"So, if we go back in time, we won't change our future?" Erma questioned.
"No, you will not. You'll just be making a different timeline, one in which this timeline won't be effected." Merlin explained.
"Alright, sounds like it could be fun. But how are we going to get to the past?" Senshi inquired.
"An' how will it help us make the deadline?" Erma inquired.
"You'll be going to the past with a spell I made specifically for time travel." Merlin said. "As for how you'll be back in time for the dead line, you'll be returning to the present on the same day you left, so for us on this side, it'll be five seconds, but for the both of you, you'll have as long as you need."
"I'm liking the sound of that. When can we start?" Senshi asked, with a smile.
