The next day came very soon for the three foreigner kids. After arriving at their new home, different things happened, each different from each other.

Lenington was immediately attempted to be gunned down by Katsuki's mouth upon him setting up his gaming office, calling him a 9 year old. He was shot down by Lenington flawlessly playing games such as Furi, Sekiro or a modded version of Terraria centered around masochism and slaughter. He acted like he didn't care, saying that those games are easy-peasy.

Haiku was next to on Katsuki's hit-list, calling her a sissy, Duchess of Darkness, etc. Haiku retorted that he was using overused-to-oblivion insults that she has heard many times already, saying thay they didn't affect her. She took it to the next level by calling him out to as a generic bully meant to be on the sidelines. Things were starting to get heated up with Katsuki turning red with anger and palms crackling with flames like firecrackers. Haiku just crosses her arms on chest in a victorious manner, all the while her palms emit vantablack mist. Before the situation could escalate, Mitsuki came in and smacked her son on the head, hard. This led to a verbal spat between the two, with Masaru looking embarrassed at this.

Lincoln had it easier due to the Midoriyas being the cinnamon rolls they are and their overall fragile personalities. Once, Inko burst into a crying fit because Lincoln reminded her of Hisashi, her husband, what with his kindness and white hair. Getting settled went swimmingly for him.

"Hey, do you have a quirk, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Izuku, diverting Inko's attention from the kitchen."Yeah, I do. It's called Sand Elemental and it allows me to control, produce and turn myself and my surroundings to sand. I am also rendered virtually invulnerable at almost all times. I don't mix well with water, as you know." the Midoriyas were genuinely surprised that a quirk such as that existed in the first place."You'd make a great hero, I'm already thinking of ways of how you can fight and rescue people with it." this made Lincoln gush, unreasonably so."Man, I know my quirk is rare and strong and all but I still feel embarrassed to get attention like this."

"My quirk?" asked Lenington as he looks up from his PSP and paused his game."Yeah! You're applying for the hero course, aren't you?" asked Mitsuki, gaining the attention of her husband and son."Oh, yeah I am. My quirk is called StormFire. It-" and he was cut off by Mitsuki, thinking she got the geist of it."Ohhhh! So you let out more flames than normal fire-quirk users, is that right?"

"Uh, you could say that." Lenington had a deadpan face but nobody seemed to notice as resumes his game. Then the Bakugo family turned Haiku."It's Void Mistress. I make and turn into dark vortices and I can warp through my vortices and shadows. I can control how strong the gravitational force of my vortices are and even reverse it." Katsuki let out a 'tch' before leaving."That's amazing! It's like you're a better of Space Hero, 18." Haiku just nodded before burying herself in her poetry again."Hey, Haiku." she heard Lenington call from beside her so she turns with a raised eyebrow.

"Why did you accept the offer to be here? I didn't think you'd be the one to save people and catch "villains". Wasn't your dream to be a poet or some other dark shit?" he asks, not taking his attention away from his game."I figured that if more people knew me, they'd find my novels easier and I can inform them I'm making one. And please don't call them "shit" when they aren't and if you don't even know real literature." "That's understandable and "shit" is another way of saying "stuff". I was playing the new God of War 2018 yesterday, I'm bound to get in the mood." Haiku suddenly gains a look of interest."Do indulge me in your game. God of War sounds like a bloody and brutal game and you know I like bloody and brutal." Lenington motions for her to come close."Does it have the elements of myth in it as well?" Haiku smiles as Lenington nods then turns back to the screen of his PS4.

After playing for an hours, Lenington took a look at his wristwatch and saw that it was already half past 9 in the morning."Welp, that was a good run. I reckon that with your current preferences, you'd like Bloodborne. But for now, you, me and Lincoln are coming with me." Haiku looked confused as she was dragged by Lenington towards the household of the Midoriyas."Yo, Linc! Come on out, we're training our bodies! Can't have you relying on your quirks to save your arses." he called out."Aw, man! Can't we just enjoy the rest of our months before school starts?" answered Lincoln."Haiku's coming!" and in the second that Lenington says that, the front door opened with Lincoln behind it."Why didn't you say so?" the Midoriyas chuckled to themselves at Lincoln's sudden willingness to go and train. Lenington bobbed his eyebrows up and down at Haiku, causing her to look away with a blushing face and a smile that seemed embarrassed yet happy. As they walked to into an alleyway, Lincoln glared daggers behind the taller albino's head."So where are we going to go training, anyway?" he asks.

Suddenly, they were in an arena of sorts that seemed to be flying across the cosmos in a faster-than-light speed."Here. Today, I'm going to train you two on HOW to fight before we further condition your bodies. That is today. Tomorrow, we train your muscles so you're stronger and faster. The day after tomorrow, I'm tutoring you the third-year junior high classic stuff by Japan's standards so you don't get lost in senior high which is U.A." he noticed that Lincoln and Haiku gawked at the last statement."What? Just because it's a hero school doesn't mean there's none of the classic classes normal senior high schools teach. Hero training is just an extra subject, one of the most important mind you. Anyway, we alternate what we train day by day. Today is improving your hand-to-hand combat, tomorrow is physical training and the day after is academic stuff, rinse and repear. Get it in your head so you learn to expect it. Oh yeah, we start our day to day training at around the 4 in the morning." Lincoln and Haiku scream at the mere thought of waking up at four in the morning.

"What are you screaming about? That's my usual wake-up time when I was in nursery up to Grade 1. Now come at me with all the skills you have! No offensive quirk usage!" and with that, the training begins.

Lincoln propels himself forward with a burst of sand while Haiku jumps into a portal then comes out of another portal above and front of Lenington, foot extended. Lenington grabs the leg, spins and throws the goth girl at Lincoln who catches her then places her back on her feet before charging towards their teacher together. Lenington high-kicks Lincoln's incoming leg, causing him to fall down. Haiku's haymaker was met with a painful parry by a clenched fist before blocking a spinning heel kick, made more painful by the hard heels of Lenington's shoes."Damn, what the heck are those kind of shoes?!"

"My favorite shoes." answered Lenington before tap-dancing, his shoes making the clacking sounds. He stopped when he had to block a forward kick from Lincoln from behind. Capitalizing on the fact that Lincoln didn't immediately pull back his foot, Lenington pulled him closer before attacking with a combo of right hook, uppercut then a straight punch, sending bits of sand flying. He grabbed Lincoln before throwing him at Haiku who caught the flying albino before throwing him back at Lenington with the added force of his earlier momentum. Lenington dodged the boy before throwing a haymaker at Haiku's downward kick. Capitalizing on this, Haiku twirled with the momentum she gained from the punch and did her own spinning heel kick which was countered with an uppercut, making her fall down. Haiku got up but was caught in a bubble of telekinesis made by Lenington. The latter also grabbed Lincoln then set them side-by-side."See that? Haiku took advantage of my attacks meant to parry your attacks. Your objective is not to hit the enemy but find ways to put your enemies in a position favorable for you while also damaging them in the process and THEN you follow with up an attack. You're going to learn how to parry enemy attacks with your own attacks and break through guards. This mostly applies on hand-to-hand combat but if you can use this knowledge in quirk-to-quirk fights then by all means, do it. Now, defend yourselves!" with that, Lenington charges forward with a kick.

The students of Lenington braces themselves. When Lenington was within hopping range, he hops and spins with his arms extended and hands clenched. The two blocked in panic but Lenington uses the momentum of his spin to strike from below and open their guard. The suddenness of the change in tactic and strength of the strike surprised them, breaking their guard and hurting their elbows. Lincoln was hit in a spot that sent a strong tingling sensation and discombobulated him. Lenington jumped and kicked them both. Haiku was quick to act and uppercuts the leg meant for her. Lenington was quicker and accepts the hit and uses the momentum gained from the punch to kick Haiku's chin. Wasting no time, he does another spinning heel kick on her, pushing her into Lincoln and sending them tumbling.

"Lincoln, stop kicking so much when you aren't sure to land a direct hit. Kicks tend to put you in a precarious position when they are countered. I would tell you to go for it if you can avoid showing an opening but it may or may not be worth it. Also, looks like it isn't your lucky day. Nobody likes that tingling sensation when a certain part of our elbow is hit hard enough. Now, let's resume." this continued for an hour before Lenington decides to bring it up a notch with a feint. He went for a straight punch at Lincoln who saw it coming but didn't expect Lenington to perform an uppercut with his other hand, allowing the taller albino to follow up with a forward kick to the gut. Upon finishing the hit, he grappled an incoming Haiku and threw her downwards. He turns to Lincoln, "Feints are a thing so either fortify your guard or dodge as much as you can." informed Lenington to the both of them. He looks at his wristwatch and notices that it was a quarter past 10 A.M."One more hour and we're done for the day."

The duo of light and dark spent the next hour trying their best to parry, block and dodge Lenington's advances but were only able to defend a few times and got thrashed for the most part. With Lincoln's invulnerability due to turning into sand, he was unharmed but exhausted. Haiku was the only one bruised injured with many bruises and a few scrapes and wounds.

"Alright, that's enough." Lincoln and Haiku plopped down on their butts, panting like dogs. Lenington approached the goth girl and hovered a hand wreathed in green fire over her injuries. The fire was very comforting and thus, brought a primal urge within Haiku to move closer to the warmth.

Moaning in pleasure, she grabs Lenington's hand and smooshed her faced in it, making the latter roll his eyes and use his other hand to continue treating Haiku only for the goth to grab his other hand and brought it to touch her face so Lenington puts out the healing flames.

"Must you put a damper on my pleasure?" Haiku asks, frustrated."If doing so allows me to treat your injuries then yes." retorted Lenington. Groaning in displeasure, she stood still and allowed Lenington to do his work. She subconsciously moans in pleasure as she feels the warmth again. For some reason that Lincoln does not know, he felt anger upon seeing the spectacle." And we're done, now come on. We have to get back home."

Upon saying that, they find themselves in the alleyway they had been in before finding themselves in the arena."See you tomorrow at four in the morning, Lincoln." hearing that, both goth and geek gulped in anxious anticipation of the next day. The two tried to enjoy the rest of the day but found themselves wasting it in constant mental agony resulting from sheer dread. They were only able to enjoy the day when they came to terms with their new schedule, which was after dinner.

The three are now at Dagobah Beach, arriving at the sight of Izuku slaving to clean up the heaps upon heaps upon heaps of trash with ALL MIGHT as added weight and moral support."Yo Dad Might, room for three more?!" called out Lenington. All Might turned to Lenington and answered, "Sure! Sure! Come lift some trash that I had who I assume to be your friend here to lug around."

They looked around the heaps of trash that Izuku had collected. Lenington saw a bunch of tires meant for 16 wheelers then placed two each on Lincoln and Haiku's shoulders.

"There, now run around the beach for 30 minutes." the duo of light and dark glared at him but didn't complain as they start running around randomly. He saw a refrigerator and start jogging around.

"My my, what a big, strong boy you are, Young Baldwin." commented All Might in slight surprise while Izuku stopped pulling the wooden couch he had to gawk at Lenington carrying the fridge on one shoulder.

"I don't just sat on my arse and play video games all day long. That's what I stay up until 2 in the morning for." All Might and Izuku choked at that in mild fright and worry.

"That can't be good." the former commented."I don't need sleep, I need training. My training's technically complete, I just do this to keep my body in tip-top shape." shot back Lenington.

"Well I guess that's something. You really should look out for yourself more, Young Baldwin."

Lenington turned to him with a condescending look."Don't be a hypocrite, All Might." hearing that made the number one hero and broccoli head suddenly sweat, the latter one's sweating intensifying. Lenington suddenly burst in laughter."Why are you suddenly so nervous!? I was just joshing with you." All Might nervously chuckled while Izuku stifled his relief.

The thirty minutes passed and Lenington whistled. Lincoln and Haiku came, panting like dogs."It's one thing running for hours but with two tires the size of these is another." said Lincoln."Maybe I shouldn't have wore my usual dress. I tripped a couple times." added Haiku then starts spitting sand to clear her mouth.

"Well then, time to work on your center. Push-ups, sit-ups and plllenty of juice." groaning, they got in position for push-ups and were about to start when Lenington placed their tires on their back."Don't forget the obligatory weights. Now, 100 push-ups, go!" and they started, with All Might and Izuku looking on in worry. Lincoln and Haiku fell down a few times but luckily, they had a great and most likely sadistic teacher helping them out."Sit-ups!" and they switched to sit ups. Instead of two truck tires, they used two of those heavy polished wooden chairs. While they do this, Lenington does the the same but with the fridge as his weight."Juice!"

Lenington kicked off the tires and hefted the two tired new teens in a fireman carry. Going to a nearby market area, he bought three large watermelons and had it turned into a drink."Thanks, Mitsuki-san." muttered Lenington to himself. The watermelons had it's flesh carved out and liquid squeezed into the hollow body of the fruit. A straw was given to them upon the watermelon drink was given to them."Bottoms up." Lincoln and Haiku threw away their straws but they were caught by Lenington who smacked them upside the head."You don't just throw plastic willy-nilly like you do in America." Lenington gave back their straws to the vendor and sipped on his own watermelon. He heard rough sighs of relief from his students.

The vendor takes the empty melons and cuts them up into pieces before throwing them away."Rest up because we're going again." two separate gulps were heard again and the duo looked at each other in anxiety. The session was repeated again two more times, even the juice breaks. Now, nobody wants to hear a prodigal boy tutor two new teenagers, right? Let's get to the second half of their 9 months till U.A.

They were in the arena again."Today we're going to do something different. You two're are fighting me but quirks are finally allowed." this got the duo of light and dark out of their groggy state and eager to fight."Oh-ho, this is going to be fun." said Lincoln with an evil grin as he cracks his knuckles."Agreed."

"Ready when you two are." they took that as their go signal and charged forward just like how they did on their first day and on the following months. Lincoln ran with his hands trailing behind him. When he thinks he's in range, he jumped and his hands turned into blocks of sand bigger than him. As he does this, Haiku brought her hands together and formed her strongest black hole, successfully pulling Lenington towards them.

Lenington formed a spear of sunset-yellow lightning pike on each hand and jams them into Lincoln's blocky hands, shattering them and turning some of the sand into glass. He quickly forms another pike and jams it into Lincoln, turning him into a shaking glass sculpture."He'll break out of it." said Lenington before engulfing himself in storm clouds and came barreling towards Haiku with a foot extended. She crossed her hands and quickly formed a reverse black hole to slow down Lenington which succeeded and she dodged it to the sides.

Lenington landed and threw a smaller bolt of lightning, about the length of his leg, aiming for her leg. Haiku tripped from the brief loss of feeling and the pain from electricity flooding it. Lenington ran up to Haiku "THIS IS SPARTA!" and kicked her forward, hard. She was sent skidding far and saw Lincoln back to normal and skidding right beside her. A shadow formed above them and they see Lenington coming down on them, lightning pike for Lincoln and a knee for Haiku.

Both rolled out of the way and perfectly avoided any damage. Lenington crossed his arms in front of his face. The goth and geek noticed the flames and electricity licking and arcing across their teachers body too late and was sent backwards by a wave of weak laser, only succeeding in giving them something akin to a sunburn."Oooh, that could be good for limiting enemy movements and making them more sensitive to physical attacks." deduced Lenington before throwing green orbs of fire at the two, healing their burns. After finishing, he beckoned them to fight. Haiku jumped into a portal while Lincoln shot sand spikes from his hands at Lenington to distract him. It worked as Lenington made a gust of wind to deflect the projectiles.

Haiku quietly came out of a portal a few steps away from Lenington and touched the floor with a single hand covered in an inky mist. The inky material covered the floor in a circle, catching Lenington in it's radius."Oomph!" came out of his mouth as he was slammed down the floor and started sinking in the darkness that tries in vain to crush him. Haiku punched the floor with a dark fist, causing her circle to erupt in a geyser, sending Lenington upwards. Lincoln shot a big spike at the airborne albino.

To counter this, Lenington sent a gust of storm clouds outwards, effectively stopping the spike. They took a moment to breathe, "Hm, nice teamwork. Could work but try not to impale other people. Settle with rocks." suggested Lenington. He took a stance, crossed arms and face close to them. Instead of flames and electricity, a tornado surrounded him as he starts hovering with a sound akin to a preparation of a massive attack. They slowly found themselves being being pulled closer. Haiku anchored herself by turning her feet into vortices while Lincoln crouched, turned his fingers into spikes and stabbed in the floor. Lenington stopped floating higher when he reached the level of his head. The tornado disappeared, replaced by a pyre of flame in the shape of a plus sign."Heart of Fire!"

Despite the tornado disappearing, they were still getting pulled in. In fact, they were getting pulled in stronger, prompting Haiku to put in more power into her vortices and Lincoln to dig his finger spikes deeper to prevent then from getting sucked in. The cross slowly disappeared as Lenington hovered back down. When he touched down, he has taken up a new form. He was a rock golem now, shaped in his original form. The inside of his chest was exposed with a blazing ball of fire and his eyes were crystals. Veins of fire covered Lenington's rock body."Worry not, I'm still holding back." reassured Lenington. A pair of wings made out of fire grew out of his back and he took to the air.

Lenington bombarded them with flaming rocks from his hands which Lincoln intercepted with bigger rocks. Haiku tried to pulled in Lenington to get him with range for Lincoln's massive punch. Lenington retaliated with a flaming boulder. Haiku just made her vortex bigger to engulf the projectile then shot it back at him, forcing him to dodge it as well as more sand spikes that Lincoln was sending at him. A few struck him, noting that Lincoln was shooting where he was going to be.

He felt the vortex pulling him again. He snapped a flaming finger, sending a meteor shower at the two, forcing them to stop their assault to avoid the incoming rain of fire. What Haiku could not dodge, she sucked in with a vortex. What Lincoln couldn't dodge was blocked with a slab of sand, which was turned into glass, forcing him to discard it and make a new barrier.

Lenington covered himself in a bubble of fire and flew at Lincoln in a kamikaze plane manner as soon as the shower ended. The latter dodged albeit barely as his legs were turned into glass upon Lenington's impact with the ground. Lenington brought his hands up. Having an idea of what was to come, they rolled forward. Their instincts proved them right as a geyser of flame erupted where they used to stand. Many geysers erupted all around with Lenington at the center. Geysers erupted in a formation like some demented snake, chasing the both of them.

"Alright, that's enough!" screamed Lenington before sending an inferno of green fire at Lincoln and Haiku who accepted it. He turned back into his regular form."You, Haiku, have a sufficient knowledge and skill on using your quirk. Quick question: can you make black holes pop up away from your body?" Haiku had a deadpan expression before smacking her face."Why didn't I think of that?"

"You, Lincoln. You really need to use your quirk with more variety. Perhaps cover the ground in sand that crawls up people and crush them? Spikes that travel forward from you to your target? Sneaky attacks involving sending sand inside the ground then making them come up in a punch or kick? Or perhaps turning into sand then traveling under the ground then coming up behind the enemy with an attack ready?" suggested Lenington, getting increasingly frustrated with each suggestion.

"I can perhaps do the floor spikes but the others are going to need some work." answered Lincoln."Well then, I'll teach that to you...on another day. We're done for the day."

After saying that, they were back in the alleyway they always come to for the past months to travel to the arena."So, want me to treat you to something or you just want to go home?" asked Lenington."Will you treat us to anything?" asked Lincoln, getting the attention of Haiku who resolved to think of more poetry to write about, mostly revolving about the usual but a few were about love. Lenington nodded. A few more minutes later, they were dunking their heads in a Neapolitan ice cream."Great idea, you two!" complimented Lenington. He didn't get an answer as Lincoln and Haiku were lost in each other's gaze as they slurp the dairy delight through a straw. Lenington shook his head with a knowing smile."They are so into each other."

Soooo, tell me what you think. Do favourite and review or DM me. Looks like something's brewing within Lincoln and Haiku. Fitting since they're the opposite sides of a coin, right?
