Cead mile failte,

Talking – " Wow he is so… intimidating"

Thinking – ' What an annoying, little, piece of…'

Buji – " Puny little human" & ' Wow…he asked for my name'

Kuruma took the lead, walking into the woods. I followed closely behind the big red fuzzball, he ( I think ) is soooo cute and cuddly. But he did seem quite scary when he spoke the first time, probably just worried since he did just get caught in a trap. "How long have you lived in the forest?", Kurama asked as we continued deeper into the forest.

"Not even a week", I responded. It is good to see him trying to make conversation with me, I hope he can trust me. "Have you lived in the forest all your life and also, how come you can talk. It is not like most animals can talk, right?"

"No not all animals can talk, I'm just special",he answered in a chipper voice,"and no, I've lived a long time, but not all of it in this forest"

"Seriously, how old even are you", I asked, intrigued at how a fox can move between forests. And also how can he talk, is he going to address that further or just leave me in pizzlement?

"I'm very old, we can just leave it at that", he stated in a stern voice, oh, I thought we were getting along but maybe not not. After that we continued walking until Kurama stopped all of a sudden. He stated for me to be quiet and continued a little ways away, where I heard some rustling and then a cry from what I assumed was a rabbit. Kurama came back dragging a carcass of a deer, I felt a twang in my heart for some reason. I rather liked deer and to see it dragged in the mouth of a predator towards me made it worse, but I needed to survive so I suppose it is a necessity. "Here, a deer. That should keep you going"

"Yes, thank you very much, Kurama", for some reason Kurama seamed to somehow blush at this statement but never the less I continued on, "I should take it back to the campsite".

"I'm coming back with you", stated Kurama matter of factly. With an acceptance from me, we made our way back to the campsite. As we entered the clearing, I sat the deer ( which I had been carrying on my back ) down next to the makeshift storage boxes. I set around to making the fire as it would soon be approaching night, Kurama was looking around, literally sticking his nose in things. He seemed to be satisfied an sat down next to the bivouac, but continued to look around. Once I had finished the fire, I skinned and prepared the deer ( to the best off my ability ) and put what I would not need into the storage, kinda, box. The rest I started to cook over the fire.

As that was happening Kurama and I talked about living in the forest, I explaining my happiness over even been in the forest and Kurama about there being no humans to annoy him. Once the deer was finished I handed a portion to Kurama, who although surprised at first, acepter and ate. I then digging into mine, noting how good it was to have meat after a diet of just berries and plants.

After that night Kurama went back into the forest, not before he told me about how to hunt better than I already was. So, my days went on from there, happily living and basking in nature; cloud watching; hunting, all of my favourite activities. After about a couple weeks, something that surprised me happened, Kurama came to visit me and talk again. We chatted and ate around a fire for hours before Kurama going back into the mysterious place he came from. This started happening more often, sometimes Kurama sleeping there , sometimes not. It became more and more regular until a week would not go past where Kurama wouldn't visit at least twice.

I and Kurama started growing closer and closer, him confessing more of his secrets and I more about me. I learned of his past and thoughts, mostly on humans but on his brothers and sisters as well. And I shared more personal feelings with him, after a couple months it would be safe to call us friends, there wasn't much I did not know about Kurama and he the same to me. Soon he started talking about ninja and ninjutsu, he said since I'm a Nara I may be good at fighting and that with my brain, I would be an unstoppable force. So one day he suggested training me...

"Seriously, I would not want to impose on you..."

"Ridiculous, I would love to train you and since I am so great you may even be powerful enough to achieve that dream of yours. I could start it slowly but give me a couple years I'm sure you will be... at least a fraction of my skill level", at that I laughed, never have gotten over his pride even around me, Kurama still states that he is the strongest being there is on this planet, " You may even see my full size".

At that I was intrigued, Although I had seen Kurama may times I had never once seen his true size. I know that it is massive and makes him look 'Scary' and not the cute little furball I see him as. After that day Kurama started training me, slowly of course at the start, but working our way up the skill tree. It turned out I had access to a decent amount of chakra but Kurama only new so much when it came to jutsus. So I focussed on chakra control and meditation, even going as far as to start working on becoming a fox-sage. I happened to be quite good at sensing and with my added use of ( the now learnt ) nature chakra, I became able so ( after meditation ) sense the whole forest.

After hard work for about two years, I now being 14, I had became quite good at sensory use. Now being able to sense the whole forest with just some hard concentration. I had also upped my chakra control and had started to learn medical jutsu.

Then when I became 18, I had mostly got my sensory use at a maximum. Being able to out-sense Kurama. I had also upped my medical chakra so high that I was able to heal most of my injures, no matter how severe. And now it was time to start on ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu.

Having trained for a further 6 years, I had gotten my taijutsu to master level and my ninjutsu was gettin there with what little I had access to. I had the afinated of wind, fire and lightning which Kurama said it was rare to have so many. My genjutsu was at a level where I could cancel master level genjutsu but I was pretty weak at using it.

When I had turned 28, after 16 years of grueling training, I had mastered what jutsu Kurama knew on fire and started - from what Kurama knew from past experiences - wind to that of a high level. My lightning was at a high level as well. My taijutsu was at a master level from training ( hell ) with Kurama. I had truly gotten 'moderately strong' in terms of Kurama and he couldn't really say if it was super strong or just average.

I lived in the forest for another two years, training but also just relaxing. It was decided that at 30 I would set off in to the unknown, and try to strive for peace so with the two years I had left I spent them well. Living with Kurama was a blast, the first couple years were kinda slow but know Kurama truly was a friend and someone he held dear and finally after 18 years, Kurama had admitted the same in what I thought was a cute amission.

On my last day, having packed my stuff, which wasn't much, - some handmade robes and sandals with some handmade bottles to hold water and food - I was saying my last goodbyes to Kurama when he said, "I would like to give you a gift", I was surprised at first but nodded all the same, "I thought it would be useful to have so I would like to give you a summoning scroll", this surprised me even more, from what I had known the buji didn't have summoning scrolls and even if the fox did, Kurama wouldn't be apart of it. "It was giving to me by father, said if I ever trusted someone I could let them right there name on it, and I could be summoned or summon them", oh ," I would like you to right your name on it...please".

Now that really...I-I, what. Wow, Kurama actually trusts me enough to ask, and well of course I would say yes,"Seriously Kurama, I would love to. thank you for trusting me enough". With that Kurama pulled out a summoning scroll from nowhere and laid it out in front of me, I signed my name where no one has signed theres before. Kurama packed up the scroll, back to the nether-verse or wherever he puts it, and with a satisfied expression said goodbye.

"I will see you soon, do not remember to summon me regularly and if you want come back and visit"

"I will Kurama, see you soon...Goodbye", I said with slight sadness. I had spent so long with Kurama, to now be leaving, it was saddening. I set off into the forest, I really had no plan to achieve peace but I knew that to do so would mean the clans ending there wars and petty feuds. Well that was totally achievable, this is going to be easy.
