Hi, everyone. So, I hadn't actually planned on writing Simba and Nala's wedding. However, a good friend of mine said that they were hoping to have seen it in my "Scarred for Life" fanfic, so I decided to write it. I must say, I'm personally very pleased with how it turned out, though I suppose you will all be the judge of that =). Please note that I do not own the Lion King, that is property of Disney. I also do not own the song used for this fanfic; "Up where we belong" sung by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes for the film "An Officer and a Gentleman" (one of my favourite films of all time!). I'm truly humbled by the patience you have all shown me. I'm probably the least patient person in the world, or, at the very least, in the Western world. Me shouting at my profiteroles to bake quicker is just one of the many examples of me not showing any patience at all, so I applaud you all for possessing the patience I tragically lack. My exams are done and dusted, so I know have the entire summer off, which means plenty of time to write! Now, this last update is VERY important. I know I sort of half-said in my Closing Author's Note for my "Scarred for Life" fanfic that I would be taking a step back from doing Lion King stuff. Simply put; I'm going to be doing what I call a "bonus chapter" for my "Love and Lust; Triumph and Tragedy" story, which will come shortly, and that will be all the Lion King stuff from me. This time, I'm pretty much guaranteeing it. I don't want to be pigeonholed, nor do I want my Lion King material to go stale. I hope you all understand. Don't worry though; I'll be doing plenty of stories from different genres; in fact, you might not get through a week without hearing from me throughout the summer. Thanks, everyone, and stay safe.
