(part 2)

"That creature was friendly... But very weird... and 'It' ruffles my fur!" said Tigger, to Christopher Robin.

"Oh, it is strange you say? Describe it to me, best you can, Tigger..." asked young & bright Christopher.

After telling all he knew, and where he'd seen the odd animal, Tigger waited anxiously, for some 'ideas'.

"Oh, bother... I'm gonna look for my Honey Pot... again" said Pooh, getting impatient. He thinks Tigger is silly.

That next Night... Christopher Robin and Tigger hid under a blue blanket... Waiting for another appearance

of the 'Snuffle-Up-A-Gus'... or whatever this new and unusual creature might be. If it did indeed exist. Oh, my!

But, instead of a brown & hairy animal... an odd object appeared, after a flash of light... Light like a door opening

then closing... As the light was in the shape of a rectangle... The general shape of a human doorway. Yes & golly...

Christopher poked the metal-like object. Shape of a cylinder or a giant tin can of beans or soup, but without a label.

The lid of the huge can then popped open... and a green & furry critter raised up its head and huge eyes. It was hideous!

"Well, why do ya' wake me up... I was finally getting some shut-eye... and my first happy Dream, I tells ya'. Who are you guys?"

Tigger: "Why, you ain't the Snuffle-Up-A-Gus... No, you ain't that Snuffle animal at all. Who are you... You weirdo?!"

"The name's Oscar... Oscar the Grouch, if ya' have to know. And who are you two... And how did I get here... And where is 'Here'?"

Christopher Robin explained who he and Tigger were... And in the morning, Christopher got a professor from the local college,

to look into the appearance of a door of light (only at Night), and these strange animals coming thru said doorway. Oh, Yes!

Professor Barnard: "Well, Christopher Robin... It is good you called on me. This is quite strange, but might be connected

with some of my 'experiments' with energy and the idea of more than the seen and understood dimensions and 'Reality'."

The grumpy & green Oscar (a real grouch indeed) had earlier left back thru the doorway of light, that opened and closed.

The next Night, Professor Barnard went thru the doorway... Then returned. He soon explained his ideas to Christopher:

"Well, now... It seems the high frequencies from my experiments have some connection, and I've been ordered to stop them."

"Oh, that's too bad, Professor... But you think we will get any more visits, from more odd animals, in the Night?" asked Robin.

Professor: "I cannot say for sure... But, if there are many more like the Big Bird I saw, on the other side... I hope not ever again!"

A week later, the Professor and his 'experiments' were moved far away to a small island off the coast. And the Hundred Acre Wood

was not visited by any more such as any yellow Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, or the friendly but unusual Snuffle-Up-A-Gus anymore.

Instead... Just before the 'experiment' plug was pulled by the Professor... One more creature came through the Door of Light at Night!

But this animal was invisible, so nobody would ever see it. Only certain grown-ups with very childlike hearts.

And this animal was a 'Pooka' in the form of a giant rabbit... Name of 'Harvey'.

THE END

(Happy Easter, to Tigger & Pooh... and Everybody out in the Hundred Acre Wood... and Every Elsewhere!)
