just something I came up with while watching a tiktok trend.

What's Mine is Yours

Harvey and Donna rarely step into the other's apartments, and when they do, it doesn't usually last long. Unless they have something to celebrate that requires each other's company, or a specific matter to discuss late at night that can't be resolved through a simple phone call.

But no matter how odd the timing may be, there's one thing they never seem to fail to do.

Donna was the first one to notice it (or so she thought, at least). About an hour after having drinks with Harvey on a Saturday night— their classic way of celebrating a huge win for a client— she was in the middle of tidying up her place and checking her stocks for tomorrow's grocery shopping.

Having spent most of her time at the firm doesn't mean she can no longer keep tabs on every little thing she has at home. A box of coffee holding around 15 bags was missing from her cupboard.

She already had an idea on who to blame, one that she managed to confirm when she made a quick stop at his own place a week later. The box was there, and she's fairly certain that it wasn't due to a coincidence wherein Harvey bought the same brand of coffee.

For that same reason of knowing it was his doing, she decided to just completely let it go.

If it was anyone else, Donna would at least mention it once or twice, with no grudge or purpose of making it stop, since it's not really a big deal, only for the sake of letting that person know that she's not oblivious to the act.

But this was Harvey Specter, and an act of crime that she's been committing herself for the longest time, too.

She's not certain whether or not he's already aware of how much fruit packs she had managed to steal from his condo, within their over a decade long friendship.

It was usually during those days when she had no time to drop by the grocery and yet for some good reason she finds herself at his place.

Donna would then reason out to herself that he's also the one responsible for her hectic schedule, so stealing some stock could qualify as simply another form of compensation for what she does for him, especially for those of which aren't really work-related anymore.

That unspoken habit of hers was more than enough to convince herself that this incident should end up in their never ending list of what they'd rather not talk about.

And so it went on.

It only took another month until Donna figured that Harvey probably has no plans of keeping his hands away from her cupboard anytime soon, just like her with his fridge.

Since then, she's been buying an additional box of coffee just for him. Not one of them ever mentioned it. It wordlessly became a new addition to their adjusted habits concerning each other.

Because little did she know, Harvey already noticed long before she did, and most of those fruit packs she constantly found in his fridge were meant for her to steal as well.
