A/N: Well I'm Back who missed this story *sounds of crickets chirping* well enjoy the chapter.

The young Coordinator walked on Route 1 with happy a gait. She her Mimikyu on her head and her Oshawott walking beside her. She glanced down at her newest friend, "hey Oshawott I forgot to ask you how did you get to Kanto in the first place?" Oshawott stopped and quickly started to pantomime like he was swimming then being caught in a huge storm during this part he rolled head over tail before finally landed on his back on dry land. Mimikyu and Luna giggle at the performance "Really? I'm glad you got away from that storm safe. So how did you stay away from other trainers or the Professor?" To answer that question the Sea Otter Pokemon put his paws over his eyes and curled in to a ball. More giggles escaped his small audience, "So that's how you did it? You just hid from everyone until we came along?" a quick nod was the answer. "Well we are both very happy to have you on the team." Oshawott wrapped his paws around her legs letting her know he felt the same way. She patted his head in affection.

They continued down the road, Luna knew that it would probably take all day to reach Virdian City by nightfall. She tried to move as fast as she could before needing to take a break. The little water-type Pokemon did his best to keep in step with his trainer. Mimikyu held on for the bouncy ride.

Finally what seemed like forever but was more like an hour the running pair stopped. Finding nothing but grass and dirt around her Luna stopped and sat down on the ground to rest. She took off her shoes and socks to cool down. Taking her water bottle out of her bag, she took a big drink then passed it to her Pokemon. With that out of the way she lay down on her back to fully rest not caring that she was getting dirt and grass stains on her white shirt. Oshawott cuddled against her side, she began to pet his coarse fur. Mimikyu crawled on to her stomach ready for a nap.

Luna was happy to zone out a little and stare at the clouds rolling by. She was brought out of her cloud watching by her stomach growling it had also woke up Mimikyu. With her hand no longer on his belly Oshawott was sad but his stomach growled. Luna dug around in her bag she found jerky for herself and Mimikyu having found that the ghost-type had a taste for it the night before. She also dug around and foud a can of Shelldar meat for Oshawott luckily it was a pull tab can, her can opener was buried somewhere in her bag. All three of them enjoyed their snack. As Luna finished her last bite she thought her Pokemon should be practicing some of their moves.

She stretched and stood on her feet. "Alright guys I think its time we practiced some of your moves. Oshawott I want you to work on Ice Beam just try and make an ice ball with it that's all something simple. And Mimikyu I want you to work on Copycat. Try and make an ice ball too." The Pokemon nodded and got to work.

Oshawott was first within seconds he had an icy blue energy beam out of his mouth. It was tiny barely an inch in width but it was still something to work with. The ice ball was more like a pebble but was a start. "you haven't really used that move before have you?" Oshawott stopped what he was doing before he plopped down on his bottom seemingly exhausted from the effort. Luna patted him on the head and Mimikyu put her paw on his shoulder. Oshawott smiled at them both.

"Okay Mimikyu now its your turn to try Copycat." The ghost/fairy-type moved a little ways out of the way in the field. She extended her arms and took a deep breath. In her paws were tiny sparks of icy blue energy. Very slowly the energy built more and more between her paws. The ice ball grew until it was the size of a baseball. The Ice Beam had played itself out, when she was done it landed on the ground with a thud. "Good work Mimikyu," Luna cheered Oshawott had deflated at Luna's praise for Mimikyu's attack, after all she had done his attack better than he had himself. Luna saw out of the corner of her eye Oshawott's sad expression. She bent down to scratch behind his ears " I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling Oshawott." The water-type Pokemon leaned in to her touch in the need of comfort. "Okay try again you two," the Pokemon walked back in to the field to try their attacks.

After another two hours of training Luna decided to stop for the rest of the day and try to make to Virdian City. Her Pokemon were wiped out from working out but Oshawott can maintain Ice Beam for almost a solid minute now. And Mimikyu was getting a lot better with Copycat and her Wood Hammer. She returned both of them and started running as fast as she could. After taking a few breaks she finally made to the gates of Virdian City by 9 at night. She showed her Pokedex to the guard at the gates and was able to get through in to the city properly. As she walked she noticed posters plastered all over different stores. She looked at one:

"Wow," Luna read over the rest of the posters there was a mystery first prize. It was also only for beginner Coordinators. Despite being tired this seemed to refresh her some. She knew she had to take take a chance and enter. Contestants could enter at the Pokemon Center, she continued to make her way down to the Center. Once she made it through the double doors she walked right up to the front desk to speak with Nurse Joy. "Welcome to the Pokemon Center, how may I help you?" She seemed chipper despite how late it was getting. Taking a breath Luna spoke.

"I would like a room and to register for the Grand Festival please." Nurse Joy took her Pokedex and went to her computer. After a minute she was all done and gave Luna a Contest Pass and a Ribbon Case. The Nurse Joy typed on the computer again to get her a room. After that was done she thanked Nurse Joy and walked down the hall to her room. As soon as she opened the door to her room she suddenly realized how tried she really was. She turned on a light, closed and locked her door. Undid her boots and let out her Pokemon. "Hey I'm going to bed you guys are welcome to join me." She said this with a yawn which was contagious. Both of her Pokemon were still tired from the day and wanted to sleep. She nearly collapsed on to the bed and her Pokemon scrambled on to it as well. All three of the of them settled in and gave a chorus of good nights. Within seconds they were all fast asleep. Today was a good day and Luna hoped tomorrow would be even better.
