It was a bright Sunday afternoon. At this time of day, the local saloon was filled with townsfolk. Each of them had their own special traits and characteristics.

Two white mice, one tall, and the other short, named Pinky and the Brain, were standing on a table. Brain had a deadpan expression on his face, while Pinky was smiling happily.

Next, a psychiatrist named Otto Scratchansniff was sitting a table twirling his revolver. His assistant was a nurse named Hello Nurse (hence her name!), who also worked at the saloon as a part-time bartender.

Three pigeons by the names of Bobby, Squit, and Pesto were perched on the bar. They also like to be called the Goodfeathers. But be careful, don't make Pesto mad!

A dog and cat, who went by the names Runt and Rita, were laying down on the floor, taking a nap.

Then, two squirrels named Slappy and Skippy, were sitting down playing cards with each other. Also, they're related. Slappy was the aunt, and Skippy was the nephew.

A toddler named Mindy was wandering aimlessly around the saloon, saying random words. Her dog, Buttons, was chasing her frantically trying to catch her.

Two overweight hippopotamuses, Flavio and Marita, were a married couple. They loved each other very much and almost never fought. Well, with a few exceptions here and there.

A little boy named Colin was pretending to fire off his toy revolver as he wasn't old enough to own a real one. He was also known as "The Randy Beaman Kid" because he would constantly tell stories about his so-called friend named Randy Beaman, but never actually appears.

A young, female mink with long blonde hair named Minerva was strutting around humming a tune she made up herself. She was gorgeous, but none of the guys in the main ensemble wanted her.

Katie Ka-Boom is a teenage girl who's usually pretty nice but sometimes has a violent temper. Violent as in, she could literally shape-shift into a monster whenever she gets angry!

Newt is a blue-grayish Dachshund with a red nose. He was sitting down, scratching his ear.

Chicken Boo is a rather interesting character. He's a giant chicken that almost everyone mistakes for a human, except that one person who sees right through it, but is able to convince no one.

Finally, a mime and a humanoid skeleton named Mr. Skullhead were the outcasts of the group. Outcasts in the sense that, while they got along with everyone, almost no one in the main group hung out with them.

After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, the saloon doors opened. Everyone turned around. The Warner siblings, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, entered the saloon. They walked up to the bar and sat down.

"What can I get you three?" Hello Nurse asked.

"Three milks, please. No olives." Yakko said.

"Coming right up!" Hello Nurse said. She grabbed three glasses and wiped them with a small cloth. She then poured an equal amount of milk into each of them and handed them to the Warners. "Here you go."

"Thanks. You're a doll." Yakko said. Hello Nurse smiled.

Taking a sip of his milk, Wakko asked "Now that I found this gold bar, what am I going to do with it?"

"You might wanna keep quiet about that! I don't want anyone to hear us." Dot said.

"Dot, we're in a saloon. Nobody else knows but us and everyone else in here. And Wakko, well, I'd stop and think before doing anything hasty." Yakko said.

"Gee, thanks, Yakko. I can always count on you for great advice." Wakko said sarcastically.

"It's what I do!" Yakko said proudly.

"Wakko, if I were you, I'd give it to pawnshop and exchange it for something in return." Dot said.

"That's a terrible idea!" Yakko said.

"Oh, what do you know?" Dot asked defensively.

"Guys, please, I'll figure out something on my own. But I appreciate your help." Wakko said.

Yakko and Dot nodded as they finished their milks.

"Tell me something. Do you believe in war?" Yakko asked Hello Nurse.

"Only when it's necessary." Hello Nurse said.

"Yakko, please! I thought we agreed to not discuss wars anymore." Wakko said.

"I don't remember saying that." Yakko said.

"Um, remember the Civil War? It gave me nightmares and I couldn't sleep for days." Wakko said.

"Oh...I forgot about that." Yakko said.

"I didn't! So much gunfire, cannons, people shouting. It was too much for my little heart to handle." Dot said.

"That's why I sang you lullabies until you went to sleep." Yakko said.

"I wish I had it that easy." Wakko said.

"Ha! I win again. I hate to say this, Aunt Slappy, but you suck at card games." Skippy said.

"Aw, phooey! I'll win sometime." Slappy said.

Looking back at the squirrels for a second, Yakko got up. "Well, sibs, we'd better get going." he said. Wakko and Dot got up as well.

All of a sudden, the county sheriff, Sheriff Ralph, busted the tavern doors open.

"Duhhhh...there you are Warner siblings! I've been looking all over for you." Ralph said.

"Yikes!" the Warners said simultaneously.

The Warners ran out of the saloon and continued down the road. Ralph snarled.

"Oh no you don't!" Ralph said, and got on his horse. "Hiya!"

The Warners continued running down the road while Ralph chased after them.

"Do you think he'll catch us?" Wakko asked.

"Not if we run fast enough." Yakko said.

"We won't get very far if we keep talking." Dot said.

"Duhhhh...I'm gonna catch you crazy kids!" Ralph said.

In the blink of an eye, the Warners went inside a random building and hid in a hallway. Fortunately, Ralph could not see them, and rode off.

"Phew! That was a close one." Yakko said.

"Tell me about it. I almost tripped and fell." Wakko said.

"I'm glad you didn't. It would've slowed us down." Dot said.

A few feet away, two guys were hiding behind a stack of hay. As soon as they saw the Warners walk away, they got up.

"Is that the kid the boss wants?" the first guy asked.

"Yep, that's him." the second guy said.

The two guys approached the Warners while they were still walking.

"I still don't think we should do this." the first guy whispered to the second guy.

"Look, Ernie, what the boss wants, the boss gets. Now, shut up and pay attention." the second guy whispered.

"Okay, George." Ernie whispered.

Noticing the two guys, the Warners turned around.

"Can I help you?" Yakko asked.

"Hello. We need to talk to your brother, if that's alright with you." George said.

"What for?" Dot asked.

"We heard he acquired a gold bar not too long ago." Ernie said.

"Um, yeah, I did. How do you know about that?" Wakko asked.

"Well, we were walking by and-" George started, only for him to knock Wakko unconscious.

Ernie and George picked Wakko up and dragged him across the road. Yakko and Dot attempted to go after the duo, but they were out-ran.
