One day with less chaotic moments, a group of friends went to the canal to enjoy a picnic lunch. One of the five is a human girl, while others are bizarre in the Pokémon rip-off realm, but they're not like them cause most of them cause mischief like other ghost types.
One is a similar yet familiar spirit who has a self-claim profession at being a butler. The cat is purple with a road gang vest and a pompadour to match with. The other is a dark skinned creature with the taste for shadows as he holds shyly with an umbrella and sunglasses to keep out of the sunlight. Lastly, the golden plated cat has been serving tea for her friends.
"I can't believe it happened today..." the girl moaned
"What's going on Katie?" The delinquent cat asked Katie, the female watcher wearing the similar yet updated pendant version of the Yokai watch.
"Baddinyan, today Nate was hanging out with his family to visit his grandma this week and I wanted to ask him out on a date." She admitted
"You still like that wimp? You always called him 'Average'" The golden cat asked her
"I know, Goldenyan, but the truth is that I admire him for being average at best. I mean, I remember how it went down for Fictioners, but everything else here is beyond average for Nonfictioners" She explained
"Well, what were you planning to do with Nate?" Whisper asked her
"I wanted to take him to see the new Space Wars movie" she added, "but he said that announcement on the last minute we had the last day of school yesterday when he left with Bear and Eddie for their hangout before he left with his parents."
"Oh, aren't you upset about it Katie?" The shadow character asked
"A little bit, Shadow Venoct, but I only need love and support to stay optimistic the next time I get the chance" she smiled as a deep snore echoed through the cave yet again
"What's making this tunnel from being haunted?" Baddinyan said as the snores are getting louder every day
"And that snoring! It drives me crazy whenever we Yokai sleep" Whisper covered his invisible ears with his earmuffs
"We better go check it out" Katie wondered
"Katie don't! What about the warnings from Zazel?" Said Shadow Venoct
"What warnings?" She asked, "I don't see them here"
"I guess they're removed the signs due to confusion and complaints. Katie, you might not know, but there is a body on the far end of that tunnel. People say the person was sleepwalking there and an accident caused the sleepwalker to die and became the sleepwalking yokai!" Whisper warned her
"I see no such thing Whisper, you probably made that up" she explained
"But what if-" he added
"I've read the entire pad, there is no such thing" she dissed him
"Please be careful in there, I would get a bad score in my report card and be mailed out as a toy again!" Whisper grew worried when she entered the tunnel.

The tunnel seemed to quickly quiet down as she entered into my tomb. My snoring seemed to attract her attention, but I guess girls have a better sense of adventure than boys, so it might lure the boys to be more braver to get the girls attention.
She noticed the body and felt the chilliness of the fur. Dead cold. The temperature of my skin is similar to a frostbite, it can burn her by touching the exposed skin. The ears however makes her wonder if I'm also a dog, but that ticks me off when they called me that.
Katie came on seeing the walls with ancient runes around the room. It is meant for the magic mirror wearers, but the room has no writing on the wall when I was placed there. She shined her watch to the letters for a better look, but the the runes have magically translated into her language she can decipher. "Awake this bear by singing. I know the truth out of the oldest cub. That's all I can give you for now. -L" the text said
"Umm... this is awkward... I haven't sung in a long time. Okay..."
Oh my lost friend, who cares for him?
A home is what he so needs.
Kids in this town
They have family
He wants that safety
With nightfall comes great danger
And things go from strange, to so much stranger...
With those catchy tunes heard, I immediately jumped up with enthusiasm, "Gera Gera Po! Gera Gera Po!" I singed
"Huh?!" She surprised as she was the one who awakened him
"Oh! You're singing that verse! That makes my heart back pumping! Thank you for waking me! I'm... I'm..." I tried to remember
"Have you forgotten who you are?" She asked me
"No..." I said, "I never had amnesia to begin with, and if I have, you immediately slammed me with a fan... or frying pan. Super effective" I explained
"Then, if you know you don't have amnesia, why didn't you remember your name." She said
"I've forgotten that I don't have a name. All I know is that I was born under a concert. Met a blue and white cat cub I nicknamed Killjoy, and he thinks that I'm a kidnapper. Though, I don't recall my past life all that much, I know who were my parents. Can I be a demon or a bear?" I asked myself
"I thought you're half dog" she added
"You take that back!" I growled as extra arms grew out of my back
"AHHHHH!!!!!" She screamed, alarming her yokai friends from the other side
"Hang on Katie, we're coming!" Baddinyan went after that scream
"Oh gosh! Sorry... I didn't mean to do that... but I don't like to be called dog. My ears are pointy because of my demonic genes" I explained to her as his extra arms are sucked back in
"... I'm sorry about that, but you are also part spider?" She said
"Yeah... I guess... my demon dad is likely a spider" I added, "again, I'm sorry I scared you"
"It's alright, I'm used to scary yokai, but not on this level" She smiled
"Good. Now I must be off finding a right guitar! Now that my part of my soul is found, I can regain my glory by restoring my guitar and my heart!" I ran out of the cave with a smile on my face
"Where are you going?" She asked me
"To start my world tour!" I exited the room as Baddinyan went to the cave and was scared to see his friend who comes out unscathed
"Katie! I am worried sick about you! Now you heard what the old yokai said, we gotta get you away from here" he escorted her out by holding her hand
"I'm glad you agreed with him, this is a pretty scary place" I smiled secretly as we leave the tunnel

"This guitar won't do. Not this one either..." I was searching for a great rock n' roll guitar but they don't seem to have good design taste
"Well I tried to be this artistic for the men, but you are the pickiest customer we ever have here" said the merchant
"I know, but is everything not to my style?" I argued
"I have that is worth your interest" a girl voice was heard across the store and walked towards me with something behind her back
"What is it then?" I said to her
"This genuine guitar is designed to seek your desire" she added as she showed the guitar, a lime-green coating with purple gems sticking out of the edges of the stringed instrument
"This is perfect. I shall name it "Jester/Jacker II"" I dubbed
"I'm glad to help you out" she smiled
"You're cute, What's your name?" I asked her
"My name is Toiletta, but the majority of the Nonfictioners call me Hanako-san" she informed me
"Ahh... I've heard about some stories about you in the sewer tunnels, you scare the deuces out of those women. I'm glad I've met a elementary school mystery legend such as yourself" I flirted with her
"Aww thanks... I am recently a famous fashion designer and a manager. I can arrange you to a popular gig for your first concert if you want" Hanako-san thanked him
"Thanks for the offer, but I can settle down right here later when my comeback world tour is done" I grabbed my wallet and give her a ten thousand yen bill for the guitar
"Well then enjoy your guitar sir!" She waved goodbye and asked, "what's your name?"
"Find out when I came back to throw a concert here!" I exited the building with pride and left downtown to enjoy the uptown area of Springdale
"I wonder where I can find some delicious metal..." I wondered to myself, but I stumbled upon the same person earlier when I wake up
"That seemed rough, but I can't believe there is a translator for the watch!" Whisper looked at his Yokai pad for answers
"I am telling you, the watch does that! I was shining the light to see what's on the wall. It all say to wake the bear by singing and I sang one part of the Gera Gera Po song which seemed to wake the bear up" she explained
"Did it say anything about how bad it is?" said Goldenyan
"Nope. It only says that's all I can give for now. And the person left a letter L as a sign" she said
"Well I don't think stuff like that don't exist anymore. All encrypted messages always have warnings involved about waking someone, I bet you might be cursed" said Shadow Venoct
"Like I'm already cursed have you around me all the time Shadow" she laughed along with everyone
"Don't push it" the dark Yokai was embarrassed
"Hey there girl!" I greeted her and her friends
"The bear" she gasped, "what are you still doing here?"
"You know this bear?" Baddinyan shooked
"Yes, he's the Yokai who is snoring at the back of the tunnel" She explained
"Well I'm not known for snoring problems but thanks for mentioning that" I said
"Well what are you doing here in the Springdale sewers?" Whisper asked
"I don't know. The truth is that Killjoy thought this parallel universe wouldn't be found but now you watcher have discovered me! Since you have a good singing voice, I want you to be part of my traveling band!" I offered her
"Really?" she smiled
"Yeah, I mean it! You do seem to be the one who awakened me, and I'm returning the favor by giving you a ride to fame!" I explained
"Well, you do seem to rely on me... I'll do it!" she declared
"Yay!" Baddinyan, Goldenyan, and Shadow Venoct cheered except for Whisper, who seemed to doubt her decision
"Look Katie, as your adopted Yokai father, it is my responsibility to be after-" Whisper tried to talk but his Yokai pad was eaten straight out.
"Nom Nom Nom" I ate the metals within and I sprung out a glowing string that has the same color as the pad
"You make your guitar strings from your butt?" Goldenyan gagged
"It is my silk/metal string secretion valve, I only make metal strings whenever I eat something that is made of the same material! I only look for key items to make my strings powerful!" I said as I removed a string from the guitar and attached the blue one onto it
"Now let's see how this does..." he played the guitar, "Dubi Dubi Dan Dan Dubi Zuba!" He played a guitar riff to unleash the power to open a portal with only music, "Dubi Dubi Dubi Zuba!" The last note hit strong and the Yokai get blasted into space as I exited with Katie on my side
"I hope this goes well!" She smiled

Cubbonyan was standing at the front porch and calmly breathed the air as a one cat-eared and one bear-eared cat with decorative balls as his tail ends walked towards him with a writing pad on hand. "Hey Papa, check this limerick I've wrote!"
"Sure son, you can start" he said it calmly to his son
"The Hunter is my game
Old Scratch is the same
You'll listen well, it'll ring a bell
The devil is my name"
"Umm... are you sure that you prefer this instead of art?" Cubbonyan suggested
"Yes Papa, you and mom said that you've agreed with what I want to be" he explained
"Right... maybe it's the devil part... I kinda feel uncomfortable... since your grandpa and your aunty" he looked at the photos of his father and sister
"Ahh... I'm sorry about that Papa, next time I won't write anything insensitive about it, right Aunty Lyn?" he said to the other photo
"I think she agreed Oynyan, in fact, your grandpa agreed that too" Cubbonyan smiled at the son but frowned upon the eyes of his father and sister
"Why do you miss them Papa?" Oynyan asked
"You know if someday... someone who is well loved and loves us in return, might be needed elsewhere. God has brought us here to help people, and there comes a time when we decided to retire, cause they're not strong enough to save everyone, but they all get put in a good retirement home from the clouds above us son." Cubbonyan explained how he sees death
"Is that how Grandpa is gone?" Oynyan asked
"No... no... he's just out there saving people. So does your Aunty. They're out there somewhere..." Cubbonyan embraced his child with a saddening look in his eyes
"Hey Cubbo-mochi!" his wife called him, "Beargamot is on the phone calling you..."
"Thanks Kukuri" Cubbonyan thanked her
He called the phone to his brother on the line, "Hello Beargamot, what is it?" He asked
"Well it is starting to become a bit rough at times of peace. Werewolves have been causing riots earlier today and I managed to calm them down, but the real reason as to why they've done it" he explained
"Werewolves? I have interest in them" Cubbonyan gasped
"Me too, but they're acting like haters lately! It just happened right after your father and Lyn were missing" Beargamot informed him
"I'll deal with it soon, anything else you like to say?" He asked
"Well... nothing... that's all I can say" Beargamot hold the call and told Vilgox something, "this is not good! But I don't want to tell Cubbonyan, he'll ignore the werewolf problem and head straight to the awakened Bear Demon"
"I get it, Cubbonyan is still in grief with Cuddly and Lyn and he blamed it on a demon. I pretty much agreed with Lyn, she thinks that not all demons are evil." Vilgox comforts the young five year old fussing vampire bunny kittens, Matcha and Lychee
"What's going to happen with cousin Oynyan?" Said Matcha, the pistachio green furred, glasses wearing rabbit-like cat boy with freckles looked scared about almost anything.
"Is he going to be eaten?" Said Lychee, a ferocious pink girl with an enormous appetite for mortal yokai blood who looked fearless compared to her twin brother.
"We don't know, but what we're aiming for is the werewolf problem! We cannot all focus on one enemy!" Beargamot explained
"Yes Cat Dad. We know what to do" said the twins
"That's my little scamps..." Vilgox smiled at their children
