A Broken Promise That He Didn't Make

"Okay...where an I now?' the disgruntled Trainer murmured as he cautiously surveyed his new surroundings, already getting a bad feeling about this strange place the moment he set foot on it. It was oddly dark yet to some degree dim from the abnormal moon in the distance. There were rocks-lots and lots of enormous rocks everywhere, however, they looked a bit peculiar, almost as if they were tainted by some supernatural force. There were several cracks within them with a dim, purple light shining through. Up ahead, he could see numerous amount of massive dead tree branches sprouting out from the dark sea, which was in similar shape around him.

Rotten.

Tainted.

Lifeless.

What really surprised him next was that he saw a female silhouette in the distance with her back turned against him, almost as she was staring dead at the dark sea.

'Weird...who in the right mind would live here? An emo person?' Rather than worrying about that, the young teen cautiously approached the unknown female and hoped she could tell where he was.

When he was getting closer and closer, the female's features were becoming clearer to him. She had short, bleached blue hair. Her peculiar dress almost seemingly like it was tainted similar to the rocks and tree branches. Her arms and legs also looked like they were tainted and her hands were black with red fingertips. 'I hope she's friendly...'

Ash stopped just right behind her as his feet sink into the soft sand. He momentarily cleared his throat before calling out to the mysterious woman. "Um...Miss? Can you help me out h-" He stopped midway through his sentence when he noticed she suddenly flinched when he spoke.

He was getting a really bad feeling about this woman when her body was emitting an immerse dark aura. 'Maybe...I should leave...'

"S-Sorry for bothering you, Miss! I'll go ask a rock or something. Bye!" Ash was about to turn around and leave when the woman stopped him.

"Wait!" Ash flinched nervously by her firm shout. Slowly, the bleached, blue haired woman turned around and faced her guest with her body still emitting the intimidating aura. Her yellow eyes were full of burning rage-like literally...they were flaming hot.

Ash nervously took a step back from the angry beauty. 'Why...does it look like she wants to murder me? And here I thought Misty was scary!'

The tainted Keyblade Master took a step forward. "Y-You have the nerve to suddenly show up all these years and was going to leave?!" She practically yelled through clenched teeth.

Confused and scared, Ash stumbled with his words. "I, I, well, you see..."

Aqua angrily summoned her former Master's Keyblade, which completely startled the latter. Ash literally stumbled backwards and fell on his butt as Aqua pointed the blade's tip just inches away from his face with a hard glare. "No more excuses!" She firmly tightened her grip on the handle. "You promise me!"

"P-Promise?!" Ash blinked with a puzzled look. "Eh, what promise?"

Aqua's eyebrow twitched violently in annoyance. "You promise you would save me, Terra and Ven!" she sneered.

...

"I did?" The puzzled teen looked more confused than ever. "When? I just got here and I just met you."

Losing her patience, the fallen Keyblade Master lifted her Keyblade up high and over her head with both hands. "That does it! Just die already, heartbreaker!" Ash's eyes widened as she swung her blade.

However, she missed when Ash instinctively rolled out of the way and immediately stood up, trying desperately to calm down the raging woman for whatever reason was really upset with him. "Wait, wait, wait, wait! Let me explain!"

Aqua was in no mood for any more excuses. She immediately cast a fire spell and launched the fireball straight towards the teen. Ash, at the last second, instinctively ducked under the attack as it scorched right by. He immediately looked back at the emotional woman to see her preparing to fire several more. This was his cue to make a break for it.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"GET BACK HERE!" Aqua chased after him while shooting away her attacks at her running target.

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU CRAZY WOMAN!" Ash yelled right back while avoiding several fireballs on the run.

"I'll SHOW YOU WHO'S CRAZY ONCE I'M DONE WITH YOU!"

Ash ran across the dark shore while continuing to avoid a barrage of ice, fire and lightning spells from Aqua.

Meanwhile, Mickey, Sora and Riku were watching the scene from afar and they couldn't quite understand what was going on.

"Gosh..." was all the small mouse king could say.

"Uh, should we go there and help?" Sora asked his best friend with a sweat drop.

Riku took a moment and watched the funny scene unfold when Aqua finally pinned Ash to the ground and started slapping him around silly. "Nah, let's not get involved." Sora gave him a confused look. "Trust me. It's for the best."

Poor Ash lol. Feeling a woman's wrath isn't easy. If you guys didn't get the small reference between Ash and Aqua, go read my PokéHearts stories and it will be clear to you.
