Sam's POV:
I had checked into a cheap motel for now and was sitting on my bed, scrolling through TheSlap. I had just made an account on the site. Nobody that I knew was on there. It was mainly a bunch of kids from L.A. or somewhere else in California. I then saw a list of people that TheSlap thought I should follow. I figured I might find some cool people. When I was going through the list, I saw a girl on there named Jade West. She looks pretty cool, I thought. I clicked on her profile. She liked a lot of things that I also liked, which was pretty uncommon to find. I pressed the follow button, and went back to scrolling through my home page. After a few minutes, I turned off my phone and looked at the window. "What a beautiful sunset" I whispered to myself. I decided that I'd go out and take a walk with the majestic colors filling up the sky.
Jade's POV:
With my duffle bag hanging down from my shoulder, and my hand firmly gripped on the handle of my suitcase that trailed behind me, I walked down the street, passing by my school. I had no idea what I was going to do. I had no plan. So I just walked and hoped I would end up somewhere good. I let myself get lost in my thoughts, thinking about school, my friends, and much more. I wondered if I had any homework, cause I probably had left it at home. I bet no one would believe me when I said I didn't do my homework cause I ran away from my house and didn't take it with me. I heard my phone buzz, bringing me out of my thoughts and back to the world.

Good, it's just Cat. I was worried that it would've been from my mom. Speaking of my mom, I should probably block her number. While I was doing that, I felt someone bump into me. I stumbled backwards, which ended in me falling onto the ground. I automatically yelled "OWW! Hey!"
Sam's POV:
I was walking down the street, watching the sunset. I bumped into something, and quickly realized it was a person. "OWW! Hey!" The girl had fell and was now sitting on the ground. "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was go- hey! You're Jade West!" Her expression changed from mad to confused "How do you know my name, blondie?" I was slightly offended by her insult, but I ignored it because I knew I would say something similar. "I follow you on TheSlap, that's how" I told her. "Oh" "Anyways, I think we'd make pretty good friends, we like the same things'' She still had a confused look on her face, but it began to fade. "Yeah? Like what? Almost everyone hates me and is the exact opposite of me" When she said that, I kinda thought about how I relate to her. "Well I like hurting people, humiliating people, I like when people are sad, and things like that" Jade got back up, grinned and looked me up and down, and said "Wow, I guess we are similar. Never really thought I'd find someone like me. So how about we exchange numbers or something?" I was already making my first friend here, and she was awesome. "Sure!" I said.
