Kill the Darkness

Streets near truck, Capitol, Constantinople

"Shit, After the meal We're broke"

When Tatsumi handed Leone all of his money, what he expected was someone to induct him into the military. What they got was a woman who took his money and ran, thought Kai had to take a point from barkeep. It was Tatsumi's fault for falling for it. Though when Tatsumi mentioned the both of them in the collective 'we' referring to his funds. That got Kai confused.

"Wait what do you mean 'We'?"

Before they could continue, two city thugs had begun to approach the black 'Scania' Diesel box truck. The Box truck was on the large side, large enough for Kai to carry his belonging's to and form the College. The Thus were made up of one small scrawnier one with two samurai swords and a larger, fatter one with a club.

"Oh, lookie here!" The Scrawny one smugly said.

"You two with the sword and the vehicle!" The Larger one shouted before adding "Hand them over, that's an order".

Both Kai and Tatsumi were not in the mood nor had the time for this. With the swiftness of a wolves the two of them, went in and beat the thugs within an inch of their lives. Before heading back to the truck. Tatsumi rhetorically asked "Why does no one at home lie so much?".

"That is something I've wondered about too" Kai said with a sigh "Guess we're roughing it out in the truck for now".

As they were about to get into the truck again, the sound of a horse and carriage stopping. Out of it was a young woman in a blue and white dress. She had offered the two of them a place to stay. Which Kai was suspicious of, a rich girl offering a poor guy from the countryside was too good to be true. However after some convincing, Tatsumi dragged both the truck and it's owner with him to Aria's estate.

Aria's Family Estate, Capitol, Constantinople, the Night after

So far nothing too crazy had happened to Kai, apart from the shopping spree that Aria invited the boys onto. Nothing too interesting had happened so far.

That was until, he felt bloodlust outside on the estate grounds. Immediately Kai shot up awake and went for his truck keys, M3 Grease gun and M1911A1, putting his rig and boots on. Got out of bed and ran out the door. Only to be greeted by blood and the bisected remains of the mother. Covering his mouth he tried to get out of the building.

Only to eventually run into none other than Leone. That blonde haired and golden eyed and outlaw style revealing attire were nothing that he could forget. Leone having heard footsteps coming from behind her. Dropping the body she turned to find out who was running up behind her. Only to find out it was Kai, one of the boy's she encountered in the city before. Grinning, she charged and tackled Kai to the ground. Straddling him in the end.

"You can't catch a break can ya?"

"Honestly, No I Can't" Kai admitted, feeling that honesty was the best policy in this situation. Using his willpower to prevent himself from getting an erection from this.

"Anyway I'm short on time, since your here" Leone spoke a she leaning in closer and asked "Where's you're friend?".

"Probably going to the storehouse to try and save your final target" Kai said trying to refrain from stuttering from the fact Leone's breasts were lightly pressed against his chest "If you want to save him from doing something stupid, I'd suggest you go about now".

Leone then back flipped off of Kai, Careful to not to injure him. She then sprinted her way to the storehouse. Leaving a dumbfounded Kai to get up and look for the entrance 'If I can get to the truck I can get out of here fast!' Kai thought.

Later on with Tatsumi

Tatsumi was now confronting an opponent he could not beat as he was. The Red eyed killer in front of him had cleared her mind and registered nothing but kill. At first she restrained herself from killing him due to him not being on Night raids hit list for this mission. Now she was clearly intent on killing him.

But the first blow was a failure, due to Akame striking the village totem that was protecting him. But now she had resorted to cutting Tatsumi's head off, but before she could. A hand grabbed her by her collar.

"Hold up!"

Akame looked at Leone "What are you doing?".

"Well, This guy and his friend I do owe a few favours thought they'd repay them now!" Leone winked and made a pose that Tatsumi recognized.

"Huh, Hey you the chick from the bar!"

"Yep, the beautiful lady that's me!" Leone sauntered over to the store house doors and kicked them off their hinges "Young lad, Earlier you were concerned that we were killing innocent people"

Leone then added to a shocked Tatsumi's impression "You may see things differently after seeing this".

It was then after tatasumi heard what happeend to hie friends while they were seperated on how Aria, tortured Sayo to death. Aria's Tirade on comparing humans from the country to livestock and how her family was going to hand Kai and his stuff over to the Minister. The Latter part was a cause of concern for both Leone and Tatsumi. The Former knew if the minister got his hands on the boy, he'd be treated no differently from a slave. Which meant someone on night raids side had to find him and get to him before the ministers men do.

Leone then apologized "Sorry for getting in the way".

"Entomb" Akame said coldly.

"Wait!"

Leone looked at Tatsumi, her eyes narrowed slightly. Thinking that the boy was going to still defends her, he saved him once. She was not going to save him twice. She asked sternly.

"You still going to defend her!?"

"No, I'll kill her!" with those words and zero hesitation. Tatsumi drew his blade and disembowelled Aria. Leone upon seeing such an unexpected action made the conclusion to take him with them. Though the the whereabouts of this 'Kai' person were currently unknown to them. She Doubted that he'd get too far.

One thing was certain, Night raid or the revolutionary army, maybe the path of peace would have to get to Kai before the imperial military does. The truck alone was enough to warrant military action.

Authors note: Not a lot of action so far, but don't worry. Chapter 02 will contain at least some action. As it will mainly focus on Kai was the main character of that chapter. So I can confirm this story like 'The Stranger: Fires of Innovation' will be on the slow burner side.
