Accomplishments and Meetings
That Summer...
Diantha managed to finish her first year of school in Clock Tower.
Finishing a year each of Fundamentals and Botany was made possible through an unholy schedule.
Then again, her work ethic was welcomed anyway as Magi are amoral workaholic shut-ins anyway. her real vacation was Summer and she 'did this on purpose' so unlike others, she didn't have other vacations. She had taken in Waver to mentor him...in P.E as his physical ability is clearly worse than shit a five year old would do better than him.
So she forced him to undergo stamina and endurance training, and parkour. And when she was taught basic spells that most magi would deem useless? She reached the same conclusion as future Emiya Shirou. Waver was obligated to eat healthy and take supplements, and regenerative spells for the body to quickly absorb nutrition and forge the body anew. He should at least, compensate with body and physical ability if his magic was terrible. Not only that, with complete supplements, he would recover and retain faster. And he should exploit the best of two worlds; magic and human. It was how she got by as a limited way of thinking, unable to think outside the box and unable to be creative and innovative, will be your end as a mage.
'If you're attacked, you can't even outrun a psychotic bastard for even thirty seconds! What the fuck?!'
And trained him to control his Od to resist spells on him. He can only do weak spells and resist weak spells, but its better than nothing.
However, during break, Dobby paid her a visit.
'Miss Di Miss Di!' Dobby barged in on the P.E Grounds, startling the 'dying' protegee.
'Did anything happen after we foiled that blonde tosser?' Diantha asked her friend elf with a frown.
She had to help save Ginny Weasley as a favor to her former friends, sealed Tom Riddle back in his book but there's no getting back the energy he stole from Ginny, so she used Formalcraft Basics and Healing Spells to help Ginny heal from severe magical drain, and had Dobby transport her to Madam Pomfrey with complete information, and that the danger is over as Diantha had killed the Basilisk and sold it for sale in Clock Tower's Zoology Department...and forwarded the money to the Weasleys as galleons, sickles and knuts out of her vault so she keeps the pounds as a form of trade as the damaged party thanks to Lucius Malfoy. Blonde idiot will later find out the Weasleys now outriched the Malfoys sometime soon.
However, as Wizarding Britain has no clue how to deal with a certain object, the evidence that he is the culprit is sadly, destroyed by a Faculty Principal in her new school, a black diary belonging to a TM Riddle.
Sooo she had Dobby wait for a letter from her Weasley buds, Ron and the twins.
That millennia old Basilisk sold for 50 million pounds. About 10,141,987 galleons.
They were shocked at what Diantha did after saving their little sister and heaped a lot of thanks. The question was, WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL is she in, that a frigging twelve year old has the skill to kill a millennia-old Class-5 creature?!
Her reply was a Howler, given to them by Dobby when Dobby ensured the Weasleys and Hermione are alone in a room. 'Se~cret~! Noooot telling you guys, nice try. Just enjoy the benefits. I'm enjoying myself here with good reason and I'm OK. As long as no one knows where I am I'm safe and healthy. But school uh, its ten years opposed to Hogwarts' seven, but I don't mind. I live in a dorm year round, eat healthy, daily showers on school vacations and wear clothes that actually fit me and are actually cute! I got Ginny's sizes, so I'll send her clothes as an idea of what girls these days should wear.'
'Face it, Diagon Alley fashion sucks ass. No modern day girl will wear em'.'
And Diantha delivered. Its clothes befitting rich girls and right up conservative tastes so their mother won't cry foul. Matching outfits complete with shoes and accessories, and a potion that gets rid of freckles, along with a potion that gets rid of Inbreeding Health Problems, but avoided the cosmetic potions lest it erase the Weasley trademark semblance it may cause a rift in the family.
But one day, July 7?
'Miss Di, Sirius Black escaped Azkaban.' Dobby stammered out shakily. 'It's good Miss Di is out of Hogwarts!'
'Investigate, and give me details as usual.' Diantha instructed Dobby, paying him in food to eat which the hungry elf did, and a pack of medicine.
'Yes Miss!' and Dobby was gone with the bowl of seafood hotpot.
'...what's that?' Waver asked Diantha and again, she explained what a House Elf is, and how Dobby is her personal spy within enemy camp. Waver decided not to ask until Diantha has everything she needs.
For now, they focused on this Summer of Hell...for Waver, that is.
June 20 until September 1...sigh.
He endured 17 days so far...55 days more before school starts!
Heavy breakfast of berries, tea and balanced seafood which is high in iodine, Od Training for an hour in lotus sitting position, run on the track and field with dogs chasing him, catch his breath, a huge meat lunch, another hour of Od training, then Parkour till dinner which is vegetable and mushroom-loaded. After dinner, he's obliged to do weight training in a public gym for his arms along with Finger-Grip Training at home, also an hour before drinking a potion that gets rid of stress levels. And his bedtime is 9:00 after a shower. Must drink what Diantha called K.O Potion so his body will quickly fall asleep. And his alarm is at 5:30 am in the morning, fully-refreshed for next day's hell.
It made her training bearable at least.
But a week after Dobby, his trainer is in a foul mood...he didn't dare ask, he valued his life, thanks.

'Hey there, you took on an interesting project~' Kairi Shishigou approached the academy's controversial student. He was a student at Spiritual Evocation since his family are known Necromancers. However, he started quite late. He's in his second year...at age 20 because he spent much of his youth amassing wares for his craft in school to last till graduation according to rumor mill!
Alas, such is the hardship of Necromancers.
And he's a frequent customer of Botany Department. Not for potions but for ingredients. Because Diantha sold a frigging Basilisk, there's a mad bid for its Mystic Eyes of Petrification and its venom. it was where that 50 million came from and Kairi purchased as much venom as he can afford, and two injector fangs.
However, the second Diantha touched his hand as its polite to handshake after a business well-made? The frigging business area saw Kairi glow orange-ish light and a black wisp of malevolence left his back while he yelped in pain as his Magic Crest heated up like a hot poker. They had no clue what the hell happened. Kairi took Diantha in private to learn what touching her meant for nearby evil people...and since there's evil in his Magic Crest her mother's gift kicked out, his family had to take it off him to study it before transplanting onto a Shishigou Successor.
Since then, Kairi was very friendly with her and checks on her, something people took notice of. Because he was sterile, he adopted a distant relative who has the greatest affinity with the Shishigou Family crest, a stepdaughter incase he bites it. She's his niece, but became an adoptive daughter as family heir to the Shishigou Necromantic Arts.
Adoptions are also quite common nowadays due to fussy issues with Magic Crests.
The Tohsaka also has to ahem, pawn off their excess daughter as in Magus Families, there can only be one...or else. Just look at the Aozaki Sisters!
She was four years old when their infamous feud began, further fueling belief that there can only be one. However, sometimes, being first-born doesn't always mean you're heir. its based on your compatibility with the Magic Crest. Only then can you be a true successor of your clan. So it doesn't matter how many kids a clan pops out as what matters in the end is that there are two heirs.
One main one, and the other a secret spare children won't know about to avoid infighting over what may never be theirs, but just incase the first got themselves killed so a magus clan isn't compromised with succession issues. That had been her thesis in Fundamentals last year which was...controversial and a hot topic in Clock Tower. She swallowed some Felix Felicis during her Oral Defense Day and she got huge credits, praised for her thesis and her ability to defend her work.
Her thesis is just the beginning, a single spray of perfume so the name of Potter will come close to being acknowledged in Clock Tower.
Well, as one who 'grew up muggle', she knows some surgical terminology and when she learned in lessons that Magic Crests are like 'artificial organs' that needed great compatible affinity with the host, she came up with that thesis. it was her own sneaky way to protect children from their own parents who are all highly-functional sociopaths. So all magus kids owe her their lives. Well, the extras that is. Those who have no compatibility...she has no idea what might happen to them. She did all she could.
'Well, he'll be eaten alive if he went to school without a clue.' said Diantha. 'But I'd like to think that despite our society, there is still some good decent folk among our kind.'
'That's like asking to snow in Egypt.' Kairi scoffed snidely. 'People like that barely exist here in Europe. Asia, yeah, unless influenced by western way of magus culture bringing out their inner crazy.' Diantha snorted with an armfold.
'There's that. easy to become a bad guy, but so hard to be a good guy eh? Oh well, sins are like Credit Cards...enjoy now, pay later.' she said, making Kairi chuckle. 'Weak magus he may be but even the weak can pull the rug off the feet of the strong, making them slip and tumble. That happened many times in the past.' she mused. 'I'm a Democratic. You?'
'Well, Neutral and I go to who pays better. Ideals doesn't put food on the table and it doesn't pay taxes either.'
'True. So I guess if I need you for help someday I better be a good businesswoman.'
If only Diantha knew how ominous her own words were...

Sirius Black found himself KO-ed and fearing he's back in Azkaban, woke up tied up to a chair in a shack, and interrogated by a House Elf who slipped in Veritaserum down his throat, so he can't help but be truthful!
'So news thirteen years ago is wrong!' the House Elf exclaimed. 'I go get Miss Di!'
'Miss Di?'
'Diantha Potter!'
'Oh, she owns you?' Sirius asked, intrigued.
'No sir, Dobby is Master Malfoy's elf...but Dobby don't like masters.' Dobby shook his head. 'Dobby spies for Miss Di. Miss Di treats Dobby well, healing Dobby's wounds from punishments and torture and gives Dobby good food...' Dobby stammered out. 'Dobby wishes Miss Di is mistress but Dobby is useful as spy in enemy camp, yes?'
Sirius thought of what he just learned. Diantha's got a bright idea, but how did she come across this little fella? Her idea's so brilliant and sneaky and ol' Lucy's non-the-wiser! This is Marauder-Worthy genius!
'...how's my goddaughter while I'm stuck in Azkaban?'
What he got from Dobby, Sirius wasn't happy.
Why did Dumbledore put her with Petunia? Why at least, not the Longbottoms or Cousin Andy?!
Diantha suffered unnecessarily that she's willing to jump ship as she saw that Dumbledore doesn't care about her well-being as a child and puts more stock at his Blood Ward protections than the fact that she's their starving castigated slave. So when Dobby came to warn her about what dear Lucy's up to, in exchange for saying Yes to Dobby, he find her alternatives and lo, her new school! year-round Dursley-free dorms!
Was it a wonder she ran away? Stupid old geezer.
But her new school...is worrying, but she got by with her smarts and survival instincts, and gained respect in a cutthroat place full of highly-functional sociopaths. And she was a former phylactery that housed a seventh of Voldemort's Soul, got detected by the Spiritual Arts Principal and got exorcised. Something never done for her since she was a baby!
Forget Albus' bigger picture and greater good, he'll do it his and Diantha's way!
But first...
'How soon can I get potions to heal myself, a nice bath, food and new clothes?'
'After Dobby reports to Miss Di! Please wait a few!' Dobby untied him with a snap of his fingers and vanished.
So Sirius waited anxiously and fidgeted...and Dobby was back with his goddaughter who's now a beautiful girl wearing a fancy dress a rich girl would wear.
Well, the Potters ARE rich...her dress is something a classy muggle noble would wear, given Lil's books on her shelf, novels based on Victorian Era or movies...she has James' brown waves, and her mother's eyes. But she didn't resemble either parent due to what she did to herself in order not to be found and forced back against her will.
She was that pragmatic.
'I heard everything from Spy.' she said. 'With Veritaserum, its impossible to lie. So I could have had it normal had the government done their damn job?' she glowered at him. 'I could have had a normal childhood with my godfather, yet Death Eaters had a legal trial while you were denied one?'
'Unfortunately.' Sirius shook his head bitterly. 'Thirteen years, stolen from us by incompetence or something at work or both.' he said morosely. 'And everyone, even my surviving friends thought the worst of me considering what kind of people my family is, conveniently forgetting I ran away at sixteen, and your grandparents took me in.' he said somberly. 'I learned from them what a mum and dad should have been to their kids. What I never had growing up...and what I hoped to teach you so you'll be a good adult growing up.'
'I see.' Diantha shook her head. 'Well, I'll help you prepare for your trial. Can't exactly show up in your state as they'll still think you're still...Demented.' Sirius chuckled bitterly at her very-much-true black joke. He looked and smelled terrible.
'Hardy-har-har.' and they vanished from the shack, enjoying Diantha's medical hospitality...though he had to be inside a tank and with many needles linking to tubes on him in her laboratory.
Uncomfortable, but at least he'll be asleep the whole process. Damn needles, he has 21 of them jabbed in him while he's wearing briefs! Including an uncomfortable catether...
(He's in there for a few months...)

Summer passed by that it's now Autumn.
'Humm...not bad for 72 days of Summer.'
Waver was forced to strip down to his underwear before a full-body mirror. gone was the stick-thin weak young man. If he keeps this up, he'll be ripped in a year if he follows Diantha's menu. Waver was no fighter, he can only be a runner. He was a scholar-type magus. Since he had skincare potions, his fair skin has no uneven skin tone nor discoloration, pores clean and shut tight, and no body hair.
'Thanks to reinforcement, a spell most magi deem boring but its actually highly-useful, you're now extremely healthy and being healthy enabled you to forge your body into something much better after training. You'll survive P.E Classes well as long as you keep this up.' she said. 'Eat healthy always, and train your body and magic. Basics is life as a very-honed and mastered basics, will help you think, learn and master the advanced stuff quicker. Lord Trambellio was onto something that he became Fundamentals in a Magus and he's one of the most powerful magi known today.'
'Then, I can change?' Waver asked hopefully. he hoped that with study, he'll get better over time. Kinda like going to the gym to build muscle!
'Through study and discovering what kind of magus you can be, finding where you're best at while finding a way to overcome where you're weak at, rather than running from or ignoring it or spending your life being bitter about it. Dumbasses who do that never mature and never become great.' Diantha told him. Her words made clear to Waver that his hopes are nothing. 'If not in magic, hone your mind and body, and compensate. Be practical and pragmatic. Pride means nothing.'
'Compensate creatively and find a way out no matter what, the best option for yourself and others to make up for the fact that your magic is weak. There's always a way out of trouble if you do it right while avoiding social pitfalls and landmines.' she said. 'Magical potential is built over the years through descendants, fixed since birth. The child is thus always stronger than their parent. Everyone's family tree starts weak, but over time, from sproutling to a mature plant. Its why magus families always entrust dreams and hopes to their offspring who'll carry on, and so on as bloodline grows stronger.'
'Your bloodline right now is a seed that just sprouted but its how everyone began. Don't forget that.'
Waver knows that he would have a hard time, but he'll do his best, work hard and discover many things and compensate for his lousy magical potential.
(By having a stronger body and a body that underwent strict training, he performed somewhat better next year...)

Jan 1 1994...
And now?
Diantha's in a cafe all alone, waiting for someone.
'I'm here.'
Her date, is none other than Neville. He managed to locate her through his personal house elf Octie. He had called her out to meet here. Diantha gave him a once-over.
Neville had greatly changed in over a year. He grew handsome and in two more years of her estimation, he will no longer resembles his mum as the potions are bringing out the best genetics can offer him. Combine that with cosmetic potions and a dental treatment as well as a healthy diet she taught his elf so at least during school holidays he eats healthy and does Exercise, he's now one of Hogwarts' hotties, the first being Cedric Diggory. He's his own man now. But alas, he is afflicted with lousy muggle fashion sense magicals are afflicted with, she inwardly cringed.
He dressed in what she calls 'rummage sale reject' clothes that as clan head, that's a damn big no-no, she thought as a waiter approached them. She had instructed a staff member to wait to attend to her until her 'partner' comes, so when Neville came, someone came with two menus, and a pad paper and pen ready at hand. She ordered what she wanted and Neville, copying her, ordered what caught his fancy.
Once the waiter left, they began talking.
'How's being your own man?' Diantha inquired as Neville looked at his former classmate whose beauty is forever denied to their society. So beautiful but alas, she ditched their society out of contempt of the Headmaster.
'It was strange at first, but it felt nice.' said Neville, looking wistful. 'You caused quite the chaos with your departure.'
'Its Dumbledore's fault in the first place, for not giving a damn about my well-being and focuses more on his blood wards.' Diantha sneered in contempt, resting her chin on her left hand, propped up with her elbow. 'And their stupidity damaged me for eleven years and forty-two days of my life, while an innocent man suffered for nothing for thirteen years. Your enemies got a trial yet he didn't. So I suspect something is up.'
'What do you think?' Neville asked her anxiously. He knows for a fact that she kidnapped Sirius Black and who knows what she did to him...she changed a lot.
'Dumbledore is keeping his eye on us and I got that feeling when Sirius told me why my parents hid...what Dumbledore doesn't know, is the degree of trust my dad placed in Sirius.' said Diantha, looking at him darkly. 'There's a prophecy that targets us made by some woman named Trelawney. To sum it up, the one to defeat the dark lord will be born on end of July, born to parents who defied him three times, possessing the power he doesn't know of. You're 30, I'm 31. It can be either of us.' Neville gasped at this. 'You're in danger through the complacency of your relatives or worse, from the inside, other than from Death Eaters. I haven't forgotten what you said on our first welcoming feast in Hogwarts.'
'What...I said?' Neville swallowed.
'How valuable is being Lord Longbottom?' Diantha asked him. 'That will be a motive for your incoming death, other than being an unlucky one like myself.' her words made Neville gulp. 'You were hung by your ankles outside a window, dropped to your death until magic made you bounce, or your head splat like crushed watermelon...and your reward for that is a toad.' Neville now shuddered. 'And what if, they got impatient?'
'That's...'
'So let's switch to another topic. How are you doing in school since?'
'Thanks to your potions, I'm doing very well, something I can only dream of before.' said Neville as the waiter's back with their orders, so they paused for a bit for privacy until they left. 'My mind is like clear glass. My memory problems are gone. I retain information so well i may as well be my own library now as I followed your advice. I'm no longer a disaster in Snape's classroom and DADA's so hopeless I'm in self-study.' he complained. 'I looked at books in Transfiguration, Charms and DADA spells, and mastered the ones that will help me in fights one day, but I'm loads better in Defensive Spells and Counter-Curses.' he said. 'But I pretended that I'm the Longbottom they know, and only showed improvement in Snape's classes. That's it, as you said I should conceal my true abilities.'
'Another garbage this year huh? Well, the DADA post IS jinxed.' Diantha chuckled derisively. 'Self-Study is really, your only option in your spare time. Master everything to the point that you won't tire easily while loading it well with firepower.'
'Yeah...apparently Professor Lupin wasn't happy as he had to start us with Dark Creatures, a topic we should have tackled as first year students...he was in Hogwarts due to his history with Sirius Black though he never showed up in Hogwarts...he's with you isn't he? Alive or dead?'
'Alive. I learned the truth of thirteen years ago.' Neville nodded for her to continue. 'I had to heal him to for his incoming court date.' said Diantha wryly. 'I cleansed his brain and magic off Dementor Residue, potions I gave you to counter Inbreeding Health Problems, and healed his malnourished organs. One year for 50% state of health as I focused on 100% recovery rate for targeted areas, his skin, bones and muscles can wait.' she quipped. 'By next year he'll be a healthy 34 years old man. He and I got along well, telling me things.'
'Understandable. I wonder about my parents though.' said Neville softly. 'If you can restore Sirius Black as everyone knows what happens in a long stay in Azkaban...do my parents have hope?' he asked Diantha hopefully.
'The body yes, but the mind is a little tricky, need more research so I'll focus on the body for a bit.' Diantha told him. 'I'll diagnose them on the sly, and send my spy to you about my findings and then you decide their fates.'
'Mm. Please do what you can for them.' said Neville pleadingly. 'Even a small improvement is a long way.' he requested. 'They've been the same...for fourteen years.' he lamented. 'Gran keeps them alive but that's 10000 galleons a month.' such price...what is that, annual tuition for public colleges in the US till graduation?! And per MONTH?!
'Fuck that Neville, you're paying the equivalent of a full muggle college course till graduation in just a month?!' Diantha looked horrified, Neville thought. 'And that's for four years!'
'Eh? We can pay for education with that kinda money? Wow...good thing we're rich!' Neville gulped in amazement. 'I know my family assets as required by all heirs to learn. But while supporting my parents for life is easy with that expenditure, I want their suffering to end. That they get their life back somehow.'
'Mm. Give me time to diagnose your parents.' Diantha smiled rather somberly. 'I'll meet you again when your mind is made up after I send you the files.'
'Alright.' even in body, at least his parents should be OK, he thought.
His parents are only mid-thirties, yet looked three times their age, worn and with wiry white hair that permanently held shell-shocked dead stare. So near and yet so far he honestly preferred them dead if there's no cure. Free them from their misery but Gran can't let go. Not that he can voice his thoughts or his home life will become unbearable.

St. Mungo's, Janus Thickey Ward...
By a large space for two with drawn-shut curtains, Diantha appeared after taking off her invisibility Cloak, a conceptual weapon that 'hides you from death' or rather, what can and will kill you.
There, were rather horrifying sights.
She raised her hands and left hand on Frank, then right hand on Alice...
Structural Grasp is performed.
According to intel, the Longbottoms are tortured till insane with the Cruciatus Curse. She saw severe nerve damage and hyperstimulated, activated pain receptors as well as a mental block to cope with the pain, hence their sorry state.
...easy for her to fix.
She can only shake her head. Neville's NOOOOT gonna be happy...and used Hedwig to mail him at home before he goes back to Hogwarts tomorrow.
They will meet at Leaky cauldron at 9:00 am, so pack up in advance, and sleep early...he and his grandma will need it.
