"Alright now. It's time for our first match! We've got people from both sides of SEALED in this tournament, so we've got ourselves an interesting matchup right here! Toya Orbert and Agito Yuuki vs Himeno Akatsuki and Tsumugi Shirogane!" Leon announced.
"Well, this is a surprise. I didn't think that the day would come when we'd end up doing something like this." Toya said.
"You're telling me. To be honest, back when we were at that tower, when half of us were erased, I thought we'd be all that's left." Himeno said.
"Technically, you were. But then Barbara and the others came along and gave us a chance of our own." Toya said. "Sure, we're not the ones you know, but if it makes you feel any better, our counterparts wished they have the lives you do now."
"But hey now, we're not here to talk about depressing stuff. This is a chance for all of us to get together, you know?" Agito asked.
"Yes. He's right." Tsumugi said. "I mean, you were all teammates of the same firm once, so an opportunity like this is simply too good to pass up."
"Yep, yep. You need to take in these opportunities while you can. So, you two ready?" Agito asked.
"You bet we are. Let's go, Tsumugi." Himeno said.
"Right. Let's go, Himeno!" Tsumugi said as she sent out Excadrill.
"Heh. Always full of energy." Himeno said as she sent out Magmar.
"This will be interesting." Toya said as he sent out Luxray.
"Let's rock this house!" Agito said as he sent out Carbink.
"Looks like our Trainers are ready to go." the referee said. "Let the battle begin!"
"Now, Luxray. Let's start things off with a Wild Charge!" Toya said as Luxray coats itself in electricity and rams at Magmar.
"Oh no you don't! Drill Run!" Tsumugi said as Excadrill spun at Luxray, dealing massive damage and forcing Toya to recall Luxray.
"Nice work, Tsumugi. Now, Fire Punch!" Himeno said as Magmar charged at Carbink.
"Now, Rock Slide!" Agito said as Carbink made rocks tumble on Magmar and Excadrill.
"You're up, Skarmory!" Toya said as he lets out Skarmory.
"Let's switch targets. Metal Claw!" Tsumugi said as Excadrill's claws shined slashing at Carbink, forcing Agito to recall it.
"You're not getting off that easy. Icy Wind!" Toya said as a cold wind brewed on the girls' Pokemon.
"Let's pick up the pace! Flamethrower!" Himeno said as Magmar breathed fire on Skarmory.
"Here we go, Mamoswine!" Agito said as he sends out Mamoswine. "Swamp them with Earthquake!" he said as Mamoswine let an Earthquake rage, taking out both Magmar and Excadrill.
"Nice one, Agito." Toya said.
"Looks like it's time we kicked it up a notch." Tsumugi said sending out Lapras.
"I'm with you on that." Himeno said sending out Dusknoir.
"Let's start things off with a Water Pulse!" Tsumugi said as Lapras fires a Water Pulse at Mamoswine.
"Steel Wing!" Toya said as Skarmory's wings glowed as it rams into Lapras.
"Got ya… Fire Punch!" Himeno said as Dusknoir's fist coated with fire and hit Skarmory, knocking it out.
"Icicle Spear!" Agito said as Mamoswine shot icicles at Dusknoir.
"You're up, Boltund!" Toya said sending out Boltund.
"Blizzard!" Tsumugi said as Lapras unleashed a blizzard at Mamoswine and Boltund.
"Now, Thunder Fang!" Toya said as Boltund leaped at Lapras, biting down on her neck.
"Go for it, Shadow Ball!" Himeno said as Dusknoir unleashed a Shadow Ball at Boltund.
"Ancientpower!" Agito said as Mamoswine launched a rock at Lapras.
"One more time, Blizzard!" Tsumugi said as Lapras unleashed a powerful Blizzard, knocking out both Boltund and Mamoswine.
"I'm out." Toya said.
"Don't worry. Just leave it to me." Agito said as he sent out Metagross.
"Hydro Pump!" Tsumugi said as Lapras launched a powerful blast of water at Metagross.
"Shadow Ball!" Himeno said as Dusknoir launched a Shadow Ball at Metagross.
"I think it's time we finished this up with a bang." Agito said. "Bullet Punch!" he said as Metagross unleashed a flurry of blows at Lapras, knocking her out.
"Here's my last one." Tsumugi said as she sent out Cosplay Pikachu in her Rock Star outfit.
"Let's finish this up. Meteor Mash!" Tsumugi said.
"Shadow Ball!" Himeno said as both attacks connected, taking out Metagross.
"Battle is over! Winning team is Himeno and Tsumugi!" the ref announced.
"Whoa, man. That was some hot stuff! Of course, I expected no less from you, Himeno." Agito said.
"Same to you. I didn't think you two would back us up to the wall like this." Himeno said.
"Yeah, but I have no illusions going into this match. I kind of figured I had no chance against the two of you." Agito said.
"But you still put in a good effort. The time will come, Agito. Don't you worry." Tsumugi said.
"Your skill shined through today. I wish the two of you luck in your future matches." Toya said.
"Thanks, Toya." Himeno said.
