A/N: A little easter egg based on Xenosaga Episode II

The voice said again as Rubedo struggled to sleep, that burning feeling came back inside his chest.

Like sharp daggers piercing his chest, he called out wincing in pain as he held his chest to stop it from throbbing.

"Stop- effing with me damn' it!" He called out trying to ignore the pain shooting down his body as a wave of nausea hit him.

He jumped out of bed and ran outside to the bathroom, Nigredo woke up and looked at the door to hear the horrible sounds of his older brother heaving.

"Hey Rubedo, are you okay?" Nigredo quietly said as he crept across the floorboards trying to not wake Albedo up.

Rubedo could barely speak as his eyes met Nigredo's calm green ones weakly.

He shook his head silently, looking quite shaken which was unusual for Rubedo considering he was the link master.

"I had- a horrible nightmare- Nig..redo.." Rubedo could barely speak as Nigredo helped me up and walked him across back to his bed.

"I'm glad- you're here for me.." Rubedo slightly smiled before pulling the sheets over himself.

"Another nightmare huh, hey if your sick I can let Dad-" Nigredo got interrupted as Rubedo turned over about to reply back to Nigredo.

"No need, I got the day planned out just make sure you sleep, and also... thanks Nigredo for looking out for me..." He smiled before Nigredo turned out the light.

It was morning as Rubedo got out of bed, at the corner of his eye Albedo was already up with Nigredo looking suspiciously at him.

Rubedo was already at the front door as he called his two brothers towards the pod room at the Institute.

They stood almost in a line, Rubedo immediately spoke as he looked at Juli.

"Ready for the assignment." He spoke seriously as Juli let out a small laugh.

"Ready and amped up are we #666?" She asked with a gentle smile, he nodded with a smile.

The three U.R.T.V's hopped into the pods as Juli began to type on the digital keyboard that materialized in front of her.

"I hope it's the beach, man- I never been to one before!" Albedo had a look of excitement on his face, Nigredo was slightly happy but still worried about Rubedo.

"Let's get this done, then we can actually have some fun." Rubedo nodded with a smile as the pods went back as their minds felt a violent electric zap.

They were inside Sakura's subconscious, surrounded by a beach that lead into ske sort of forest surrounded by a azure river that showed the path.

"The target location is the pale yellow house across the forest, complete that objective and cure the patient's illness." Juli spoke to Rubedo as he gave a slient nod in reply.

They walked across the beach looking around the beautiful landscape that Sakura's subconscious had created.

But at the same time, it felt sad and unsettling.

Rubedo began to reminiscence about the memories with Sakura as he walked.

There they were, sitting across the chained chair looking at the sunset with gentle smiles across their faces.

"Rubedo, look at how beautiful the sun is- it's a red color like your hair." She giggled rubbing his crimson hair.

Rubedo gave a small smile as Sakura began to blush swinging her legs back and forth.

Sakura looked like she was about to ask a question, she looked lovingly into his sapphire eyes, her green eyes glimmering with innocence but also a sense of beauty.

"Rubedo, did you ever meet your mother?"

"Yeah, but we barely knew *anythin'* about her besides not having enough chromosomes."

Sakura gasped beofre continuing to speak to Rubedo with concern on her face.

"Why don't you go meet her, I bet she'd love to see you." Sakura smiled as Rubedo scoffed and shook his head in disagreement.

"Say Hello your a mother of a bunch of bio engineered bioweapons! Yeah I bet she'd love to hear that!" Rubedo called out sarcastically as Sakura looked horrified at what he said.

"D-dont say something do horrible Rubedo, you're a wonderful boy!"

"Yeah..? Whenever we are requested is when there's a damn war going on..?"

Sakura now looking slightly mad at what Rubedo said before looking directly at him now.

"You're NOT a weapon, your- your a handsome boy Rubedo." Sakura quickly sneaked a kiss on his cheek as Rubedo began to blush rubbing his face as he watched to leave opening door to the house.

"See you tomorrow Rubedo!" She called out with a smile as Rubedo gently smiled before walking back to the Institute.

The brothers reached the pale house, inside was Juli teaching Sakura how to play the piano.

"Sakura." Rubedo spoke as he went closer towards the window to see inside.

His hands touched the window as he watched with a smile as Sakura began to play, the song was soft sounding almost something you'd play at a wedding.

Albedo was disgusted as he simply rolled his amethyst eyes.

"Can WE go now, I'm already feeling irritable seeing HER." Rubedo hushed Albedo before Nigredo silently watched Sakura play.

"She's good isn't she, the way she plays is almost ethereal Rubedo." Nigredo smiled but quickly noticed Albedo walking away muttering insults under his breath.

"Hey, where did he go?" Rubedo wondered as he ran off with Nigredo following after him.

They both called out for his name trying to find him, they then nodded and decided to split up as Nigredo ran past the river as Rubedo went across the forest to the other side.
