This story is set in the game verse and the IDW comic series as well as current events in destiny so i will try to stay true to the season of the chosen through to Season of the plague.
With Silver and Osiris reflection
The 2 hadn't exactly got of easy Osiris had made a slight error in thinking that they came out unscathed, Silver was crying but all in all he was okay, Osiris reflection however was beginning to flake slightly, "guess my time has come" he said sadly, he then went over to Silver and cradled him, Silver stopped crying, "that's it little one welcome to your new home" the reflection said looking around, it was a beautiful place, it was actually the future a couple of hundred years later from where he entered the portal. However it reminded him of venice italy, "i think you are going to like it here, this will help you remember Osiris and this place" then a tear in the sky appeared, "no" the reflection said standing up, the people in town certainly noticed as well as they began screaming and running,
"This can't be" the reflection said stunned, he knew what was happening the future was changing something must have happened to trigger this "how do i get you out of this" he muttered, then he sensed something behind him, he looked to see a light blue emerald at his feet. He could sense the power of the light inside it, he then looked at Silvers hands, they were the same color, "perhaps this can work", he then ran from the tear to at least by them time, Silver was keeping a hold of the emerald as he was carried through the city.
The tear in the sky was dark purple and fiery red, "come on come on" osiris muttered then he tripped and fell, dropping Silver in the process, Luckily he managed to catch himself with his psychokinesis and the azure emerald in his hands. He looked at Osiris expectantly, "go child run" the reflection ordered weakly. Silver looked up at the sky which was still being torn apart, then to the azure blue emerald in his hands.
He closed his eyes as if in concentration, the reflection wondered what he was doing, then there was a flash and when it cleared Silver was gone, where?The reflection didn't care all he cared about was that Silver was safe, finally the sky tore open and the reflections vision turned to nothing.
23 years later
Silver was now fully grown and you probably know what he's been through, stopping Iblis in the future thanks to the events of Sonic 06, and since has helped Sonic the hedgehog and made some new best friends along the way, if you have read the IDW series then you would know the metal virus ark, that event was about a month ago. Now he was resting under a tree and wondering what destiny has next in store for him, then he heard footsteps, he sat up, it was Espio the chameleon, he was a purple mobian chameleon with a yellow horn on his nose. He was a member of a detective group known as the chaotix.
"How's it hanging Esp?" Silver asked, "good thanks Silver" Espio replied, "just came here to tell you that Blaze is here" Silver immediately jumped to his feet, "Really!? Let's go" Silver exclaimed, Espio ran after, "slow down Silver i know you're excited but-" Espio's words rang on death ears as Silver flew off towards the resistance base.
Resistance base a little bit away
Sonic was waiting outside the base with Tails, the base itself was located in Green hills, it was like most military bases, high walls, some mounted cannons for defences and plenty of resistance members to go around. Sonic was an arthromatic blue hedgehog with red shoes and white gloves, Tails was his young brother, he was a 2 tailed mobian fox hence his name he was also a child genius.
"Hey Silver!" Sonic called out as Silver landed and Espio ran up beside him, "hey Sonic" Silver greeted, "glad to see Espio found you" Tails said "i was kinda worried you were back in the future". "Is Blaze really here?" Silver asked, enthusiastically "ask her yourself" Said a voice at the entrance of the base, a lavender mobian Cat wearing a purple tailcoat with a dark pink trim and golden cuffing along with white leggings.
This was Blaze the cat, she was a princess from another dimension and literally Silvers oldest friend, when he was younger he had used a Chaos emerald to teleport himself to the Sol dimension and the 2 had met as kids, Blaze hadn't a friend back then due to her powers and was considered a slight freak. Silver however didn't care about her powers, when he became older he refound a chaos emerald and showed Blaze the future. A future where Iblis had devastated the earth, then the events of Sonic 06 happened and now that future was deleted.
She didn't remember much of that future, no one did but Silver, however Silver had explained the details to her, and as i probably said before the 2 helped the resistance and fight eggman and other villains. Sonic even considered Silver a second brother, "Blaze it's good to see you" Silver exclaimed, "you to Silv" Blaze replied. Silver blushed slightly at the nickname as Sonic chuckles only to get elbowed by Tails scoldingly and Espio rolled his eyes while smiling.
The group entered the base and proceeded to the main control room, there were plenty of Mobian resistance members along with the human guests from the guardian unit of nations/G.U.N, the 2 intergovernmental forces helped the world out together. "So why did you decide to come Blaze?" Sonic asked, "just wanted to say hi to my friends" Blaze replied, "something wrong with that" Blaze suddenly turned suspicious and Sonic as well as Tails, Espio and Silver got nervous, "no i-" Sonic stuttered then Blaze laughed, "just kidding" she said.
They entered the main control room which in all fairness was the same as most control rooms, multiple panels with buttons and a large monitor on one wall, even though Tails tended to talk about his inventions a lot, most of the present stuff in fairness was just whipped up pieces of put together spare parts. "How's everything so far?" Sonic asked his girlfriend who was there in the main control room filling out forms with 2 others.
Sonic's girlfriend was a pink mobian Hedgehog called Amy rose, she wore a red dress and hairband, her hair itself went slightly past her shoulders, and she had decided to add some eyeliner, "It's going good Sonic" Amy replied, "now that i don't have to do paperwork alone". Then She saw Blaze and dropped everything and hugged her, they were best friends after all, "so good to see you again Blaze" Amy exclaimed, "you too" Blaze chuckled.
The second person in the room helping Amy was Amy's best friend orange-yellow mobian cat Honey the cat wearing a dress similar to Amy, red dress and hairband but with white facineres and a long cat tail coming out from under the dress like the one Blaze had.
Honey also owned a fashion company worldwide and was very famous believe it or not and helped to fund the Resistance, she sprang up and shook Blaze by the hand, "pleasure to meet you princess Blaze" Honey said, "pleasure to meet you to" Blaze replied, "that is lovely outfit you're wearing" Honey said, she was a fashion designer after all, "what make is it?" Blaze was slightly surprised about this but that was Honey for you, "thanks?" Blaze said unsure, she really wasn't sure what made it was.
Thankfully the third person who helping Amy with paperwork saved Blaze from pressed questions, the third person was Jewel the beetle, she was a mobian beetle wearing a pink blazer and skirt, her shell was very shiny, light blue, she flew hover and hovered at Blazes height, "i apologize your highness" Jewel said, "just Blaze is fine" Blaze replied, "very well Blaze welcome to our base" Jewel replied proudly, "this is where we operate in green hills, as you no doubt know"
Blaze chuckled at the joke, "okay if we give Blaze the tour of the Base?" Silver asked, "that be great thanks" Blaze said, "sure why not" Amy added, "okay so where do you wanna start?" Sonic asked.
An hour later
"And this is the garage where we make and repair our vehicle" Tails explained as he gestured at the garage, there were Plenty of vehicles aloft and mechanics working on them in different ways. The group consisting of Sonic, Tails, Amy, Espio, Blaze and Silver had toured around the base and so far Blaze was enjoying it, Silver let Tails do the explaining since he was np expert, he may have been Naive but he was not stupid.
A new member and friend of the resistance saw them and waved, "hi guys" she said, the others waved back and walked up, "hey belle" Tails said. Belle was a robot that took the form of a marionette puppet so she was made out of oak with screws connecting her limbs, her hair was orange in colour and she wore a pink shirt under green overalls.
Her welcome was rough at first but she was eventually accepted into the resistance and was a very good mechanic. Belle walked up to Blaze holding out her hand, "you must be Blaze I heard a lot about you" Belle said shyly but friendly Blaze shook the hand gratefully "Belle right? nice to meet you" Blaze replied, "now that you've met our newest member i think there is someone else who wants to see you" Amy said gesturing to a young rabbit Mobian and a blue Chao running up to them, "Miss Blaze!" She exclaimed as she ran up.
"Hey Cream" Blaze said back bending down to greet her , Cream wore an orange dress and a blue tie around her neck, behind her walked Cream's mother and robot Brother, Vanilla the rabbit and G-merl the Gizoid. The Gizoid had a black paint job and yellow detailing including a tri spiked head crest and yellow fins on his arms, Vanilla wore a purple and dark pink victorian style dress, "it's so good to see you miss Blaze" Vanilla greeted, "you to Vanilla you to" Blaze replied with a slight bow.
Soon the girls were all having tea and catching up except for Belle and Jewel, the boys were having a race outside the base, well Silver and Sonic were racing while the others spectated and judged, "So Silver when are you gonna tell her how you feel?" Sonic asked, Silver was slightly caught off guard and nearly missed a step as he raced against Sonic, "w-what?" he stuttered, "oh come on we all know she has feelings for you" Sonic said. Silver was not too sure how to answer, "i-i'm not too sure, sometimes she does scare me" Silver admitted.
"Oh come on Silver" Tails said as he flew upside down from the tornado, this tornado was a red plane this version is from sonic unleashed, Silver got such a fright he jumped into Sonic's arms, "hehe sorry" Silver said nervously as Sonic rolled his eyes and threw Silver over his shoulder. Silver caught himself with his psychokinesis and caught up with the 2, "well what am i gonna say to her?" Silver asked "just how you feel" Sonic replied.
Meanwhile the girl's were talking to Blaze about a similar topic, "come on Blaze just tell him how you feel" Amy encouraged, "look Amy he's just a friend okay" Blaze insisted, "now now dear, it's easy to tell your lying" Vanilla said, Blaze had to admit that a lying was one thing she was not, a princess of another dimension certainly and she was worried that that could get in the way of her feelings for Silver. "Okay fine, I do suppose I like him," Blaze said, a little uncomfortable.
"You don't have to marry him on the spot" Amy said, then taking a sip from her tea cup "yeah that sounds like something Amy would do" Cream quipped making Amy spit out her tea in surprise and making Honey, Vanilla and Blaze laugh heartily as Amy flustered, "what" Amy exclaimed, "i would-wouldn't… i don't-" she stuttered, "she got you there Amy" Honey laughed barely able to get the words out Vanilla decided to save her fur and got back on topic, "Blaze-dear, i know you're scared but if you don't then one day you might loose the chance" Vanilla said sincerely.
Blaze thought it over and over and over in her head, then Belle burst in, legs a blurr and shouted, "we're under attack we're under attack we're under attack" she blurted, "where?" Amy, Honey and Blaze asked. Meanwhile Sonic and Silver had just about finished their race and once again it was a tie, "nice race Silver" Sonic said, "thanks" Silver replied, just then a mobian dog ran up to Espio, once Espio had finished listening to him he turned to Tails, Sonic and Silver with urgency, "guys the base is under attack!" he said, "what where?" Tails asked, "the courtyard" Espio said running after the mobian dog who had delivered the message.
In the courtyard
"What are those things, some kind of new badniks?" Honey exclaimed as she saw the attacks, they were robots of some kind, they had golden outer shells and single red eyes, some were biggers than others and had purple shields, others were just little drones with tentacles, the rest were human sized with head crests, all of them had a glowing white core on their torso. Most of the resistance in the base were firing at them with Wispons, with little luck as they blast from the wispons bounced off the shields or the robot teleported in a digital spectrum then reappeared and fired blasts from their unusual weapons.
"I don't know but let's take them out" Espio said, "finally it's been ages since i took out a robot" Sonic said as began to stretch out, "Sonic you destroyed a bunch of badniks yesterday" Amy pointed out bringing out her Piko hammer from wherever she kept it. "Fair point" Sonic admitted then Spin Dashed one of the robots, instead of breaking apart like usual it was just knocked back then got up, aiming it's strange arm cannon at Sonic and firing purple bolts at him. Sonic now realised that he would need to use more power in his spindash unlike most badniks so he began doing so to great effect.
Blaze sent fiery punch at the vex one tried sneaking up on her and firing a shot but Silver used his psychokinesis to throw the aim off and it ended up shooting another robot, "thanks Silv" Blaze said, "no problem Blaze" Silver replied, he had thought about calling her by a nickname, but the best one he had came up with was Blazey and he was probably gonna get a fire punch for his troubles if he used it.
Tails was looking at a broken down robot carcass that Sonic had spin dashed, it hadn't taken as much increase in power as Sonic thought to destroy them, Amy had to hit a little harder than normal and Honey ordered the troops to aim for the red eyes or the white core in the torso and Espio was jumping from one robot head to the next thoroughly confusing them then throwing a kunai in their eyes. With one final hit, Amy finished off the final unusual Badnik, "well that wasn't too hard" Blaze said, it was true it wasn't that hard.
"Fascinating" Tails said, getting excited about the new designs of the Badniks or whatever they were, "these machines, i sense an unusual energy from them" Espio said, Jewel arrived on the scene and decided to get what remained of the robots to Tails laboratory. "How did those things even get into the courtyard without anyone noticing?" Silver said, "must be some kind of teleportation" Tails said, "how they did it I don't know". "Don't worry Tails, I know you can figure it out" Sonic said, Espio meanwhile decided to give some encouragement to Silver, "now's your chance Silver" he said, Silver was surprised he gave Espio a confused look.
Espio pointed to Blaze who was talking with Amy about a similar subject, "now's the time to tell her how you feel" Espio continued, "how you truly feel", Silver looked at him with an unsure look then took a deep breath, "okay" Silver said. "Here comes Silver now's your chance" Amy said to Blaze, "i'm-" Blaze began, "no Blaze don't give me that you are going to tell him how you feel" Amy snapped, Blaze sighed, "hey Blaze" Silver called, "can i talk to you privately for a minute?", "of course" Blaze replied as they went to find some privacy.
A few weeks ago in an eggman base
Eggman was tampering with a laboratory he found underground and their was a ton of unknown tech that seemed to be both alien and yet not, "this tech is amazing, whoever made this is smart but not as smart as me" he gloated, "i can us all this tech to finally make Eggman land hahahahaha". Eggman was an egg shaped man with a ginger mustache and wore a red shirt of one kind or another, I'm not too sure but probably the latter, and a pair of black trousers.
One of his Robots, Orbot a red sphere shaped robot came running in, or rather flying in since he didn't have any legs and hovering was the closest thing to being able to move.
"Boss Boss" he shouted, "we got a problem, it's the construct in the mechanical room it's active", Eggman's first impulse was to yell as that was habit but the construct was a portal in an unusually designed room. Eggman dropped what he was doing which was taking apart a Vex harpy because you have probably figured out now that the things in the courtyard were vex. So there's really not much point in calling them anything else, anyway he dropped what he was doing and ran to the room with surprising speed considering his lack of exercise.
He burst into the room another of his robots, Cubot a yellow robot true to his name like Orbot, was already there, the construct was actually a vex portal, the entire room was made of Vex design, the central Vex portal was active, "well do you know where it leads" Eggman demanded.
Both robots shook their heads, Eggman ran to a console that controlled the portal, it was impossible to understand all things considered even for him, it said that it was coming from somewhere called Nessus, "what or where is Nessus" Eggman said in frustration. "At ease doctor" said a voice from the portal, Eggman jumped a full foot in the air before landing on his rear as Mephiles appeared from the portal, "Mephiles but your suppose to be-" the doctor began, "as long as the darkness exists then so do i" Mephiles cut in, "Iblis was not so lucky".
"But how after sonic silver and shadow defeated you in that timeline and yes I remember" Eggman said "how did you- wait what is the darkness?", Mephiles considered the question, "well you see when i was defeated i was sent to the world between possible timelines and so i did a little bit of changing to the timeline of this world" Mephiles explained, "i know you have many questions but in time you will understand as for the darkness well they are my creators and they want to see you".
Eggman held his tongue and decided to see what will happen, another figure stepped out of the portal this one was human sized with a cloak and hood covering most of his face, all that Eggman could see were two pinkish white eyes and somewhat of a shimmering blurry outline over its body except for the cloak and hood, "who are you?" the doctor demanded, the figure looked surprised, "you do not recognise us?" it asked in a voice of robotic origins, a dim red light flash appeared where the mouth or cheeks should be from under hood when it spoke and continued to.
"We have come to bring salvation" the figure continued as he stepped forward to the doctor bent down, placing one hand on his forehead and the other on his heart, and the doctor learnt everything he needed to know, but only what he needed to know not everything.
"You want Silver the hedgehog?" the doctor asked, "he is special. Mephiles used the infinite forest to rebooted the timeline of this planet" the figure replied, "the infinite creates simulated futures then turns them into reality and through it Mephiles created this new timeline in preparation for our arrival hence why you still remember" "oh i see now it makes sense" Orbot said so why do you want us?" Cubot added, "you know about this planet and i suspect you can help us" the figure continued.
"So what do you say doctor" Mephiles asked, "i'm in" the doctor said immediately, "where do we start?" The figure turned its head away and put one hand on it's chin, the doctor now had a good view of the side of the figure head, it was metallic and blue painted under the blurry white outline, "first you need to be arrested" the figure started.
