Jamie Sionis is a fan character my brother had, I'll keep him strictly to the side, in case it's annoying. Another villain added this chapter.
Thanks for coming. Here we go.
Chapter 2 _ Old Acquaintances
Master Fu lead his last client out the door a few minutes ago. The shop was closed, door locked and bolted. Shutters closed, and all the lights in the front room were turned off. He poured the tea. The jasmine scent ensnared his senses. Weiss murmured his appreciation of the scent and sipped at his cup the little guy could put down more than an old man at times.
This evening ritual was shared daily, a pot of tea shared between to old friends. Weiss gave up on watching TV around the time the internet was invented. They agreed it was the adventure of fools, they used it to watch the news but little more.
Then they heard a click, a lock flicking to position, then a bolt sliding out of place, and the chain being removed. The door opened. Someone was entering his shop, "Sorry we're closed. Please come again tomorrow."
An old worn voice called back, "This won't take long" a loud crack of thunder sounded and the door to the back room came flying off, shattering on the wall at the far end of the room.
"I had some questions about my prescription." Master Fu smirked at the shriveled and wrinkled old man in the doorway. "Shú you look terrible! Would you like some skin care products?" "Give me the miraculous or you won't live to see another sunrise!" the old man snarled. Master Fu shifted his weight to the right. "Why don't we talk about this like civilized-" Lighting arced across the room.
"Shelter!" Weiss cried, commanding a green sphere to surround him and his dearest friend.
"Weiss, shell on!" green light flashed as his old uniform covered him.
The wizard snarled at his former pupil, "That ridiculous costume will only delay the inevitable. You couldn't save the monastery and you can't save yourself."
Master Fu blocked the next bolt of lightning with his shield. Master Fu glanced over at the record player. Fu's assailant twisted his mouth into a cruel smile. "The rest are close at hand I think, you really should have hidden them better."
A wave of his hand sent Master Fu through the wall and into the street. Then the record player shattered into pieces against another wall, except the box was not there.
"What? Fu! Give them to me!" Fu climbed the wall outside, to his second-floor window, careful not to make a noise.
He climbed in the window, while the wizard searched the area. He could feel the strain on his old bones, he wasn't even two hundred yet. His old master shouldn't be capable of walking, dark magics were clearly at work here. He signaled ladybug and Chat Noir with his Miraculous. He pulled the Nomicon from its shelf, "You are not safe here." "Neither are you." Master Fu dove aside, throwing a jar at the wizard, the lightning that struck it made it explode, scattering metal flakes all over the room, green energy crackling harmlessly through them.
The advanced age of both men became apparent for a moment as they struggle back to their feet. "I see you kept in practice with SOME of my teachings." "The unknown holds a delicate balance with what is known" "It's a shame you didn't side with ME when WE destroyed the monastery."
Both men stood and faced each other. "Why now? Why seek them out?" the wizard shook his head, "I'm tired Fu, what do I have to show for all I've done for this world? I should be ruling the world by now, it's time I was given fair compensation."
Fu glared at his former mentor. His hubris had not lessened in the last century. "Don't you think you're getting a little old for this? You're at least three hundred years old."
"Merlin lived to four hundred and sixty, Flamel made it to six-hundred. I've got a lot of living left to do." Then he saw the tome. "You managed to salvage part of the library? As did I. Those pathetic monks did not know what they had. I learned so many secrets."
Fu bellowed with rage, "I will not allow you to make a mockery of my order!" he charged with his shield raised and was thrown back into the street. "You're doing that all on your own, Fu." The wizard appeared on the ground next to fu who groaned in pain, "Tell me where the Miraculous are or I will make Weiss watch me skin you alive!"
"Hey, Darth Hideous!" Cat Noir gracefully landed a few feet away. "I was going to say respect your elders but nah, you're clearly a walking fossil."
Cat Noir took a fighting stance. "So why don't you let my friend up and I won't rearrange your face." A trash can came flying at Cat Noir, who dodged it effortlessly. Master Fu rolled to his side, and stoop as quickly as he could. The aching wasn't just his bones anymore. His whole body had a dull throbbing to it. Calisthenics weren't doing enough. He couldn't fight like a young man anymore.
"Cat Noir! His ring! He needs a focus to channel his magic!"
Cat Noir took a pose, "Cataclysm!" black energy emitted and swirled from his palm and he rushed the Saruman knock-off. "Say good night, Dooku." the wizard, threw master Fu at him, Cat Noir threw his left hand back and grabbed Master Fu with his right careful not to waste his ability. Master Fu let out a grunt when they hit the ground, despite Cat Noir's attempt to cushion the fall.
Cat Noir dropped Master Fu and dove in to attack the wizard. Lady Bug's yoyo wrapped around his waist pulling him back from the wizard's next attack. "Cat Noir! be careful, we don't know enough about our opponent."
"Nice of you to drop in milady. He's using magic through his ring."
"Lucky Charm!" Marinette caught the item. It was a paint brush. "Oh, come on!"
Fu cried after him "No! You can't beat him. Take this tome and go! I will hold him as long as can."
Ladybug turned to him in surprise, "There is no way were leaving you here!" The wizard didn't stop his advance, trash cans, a scooter, and a mailbox all came flying at the trio of heroes. They dodged as best they could. Cat Noir was quick to kick a projectile out of the air before it could hit his experienced compatriot.
Master Fu gave the tome to Cat noir, "Take this and run! Ladybug, remember to trust your allies." "What about you?" Lightning forced the three to take cover behind a car. Master Fu's expression softened, "Concerned for me even in the face of death." He pulled her into a hug. "Look for the Shishi under the full moon, dragon's tears will show the way." He pushed her away, "Now go!" "But that doesn't make any sense!" "It will soon." Master Fu pulled himself back to a standing position and stepped into the wizard's line of sight. "Shú if you want this miraculous, you will have to pry it from my cold, dead, hands!"
The wizard pulled him in off his feet, "Easily Arranged!" As soon as they were close enough, he spoke the word for the last time, "Shelter!"
Marinette
Ladybug and Cat Noir ran. They couldn't even hit the guy, they needed help. Cat Noir stopped her, "We need to meet up, tomorrow. Talk this out."
Lady bug looked at the paintbrush in her hand. "Why did it give me a paintbrush?" Chat Noir cocked his head to the side. "He said trust your allies? What else did he say?"
"Look for the shishi under the full moon, dragon's tears will lead the way?" Cat noir looked up at the moon, "The moon is waxing, so it should be full next week. What does that mean?"
"I'm not sure, a shishi is a guardian spirit, the full moon and dragon's tears are probably a clue to a location not a time. I'm not sure what too."
Marinette felt dizzy, Master Fu was gone, Weizz would know what was going on. "Ladybug!" "What?" "the brush? it's a clue, right?" She looked at the brush again, "Yeah but I can't figure out for the life of me what to." Cat Noir shrugged "An art studio?" Lady bug looked down at it again. "Were out of time, let's meet on the blue roof south of that bakery that Were-dad works at."
Chat Noir nodded, "Okay what time?" "Two pm sharp."
That will do it, these chapters don't feel long but they look long, if you guys have some tips. I'd love to hear them. Thanks for Reading.
