JustAnotherFanGirl2004: Aziz and Lori have a lot of cute moments in their relationship, by now being close to each other is second nature. I've been thinking about what to make her, and I think I have an idea. She will definitely go to tourney games to watch Lea, who will definitely play professionally.
Sorry this chapter took a while, originally it was going to be a different second chapter but then I switched ideas midway.
Enjoy!
. . .
I was excited. My applicatication for training the cheer team had been accepted, and I would start in three weeks. It would be four weeks, three days a week, and two hours a day.
But until it started I was content with just hanging out with my friends and family, having fun.
. . .
"Hey, your cheerleading thing is in a month, right?" Aziz said. We were in the park with Alexandra, letting her play with Jena. Agrabah and my parents' place were a couple hours apart, but they would constantly visit. Jordan would use her awesome genie powers to teleport them here. Alex and Jena have become pretty good friends.
"Yep," I said, smiling. "Why are you asking?"
"Well, my parents invited us to come to Agrabah for a week soon. Do you want to go?"
I smiled. I liked Aladdin and Jasmine. I didn't have as close of a relationship with them as I had with Aunt Snow and Uncle David, but I still thought they were pretty cool. I'd met them whenever I went to Agrabah with Lea, Jordan and - after we started dating - Aziz.
"Sounds good. I should probably get more used to the place anyways, since someday I'll live in the palace," the words came out before I really thought about them, but then I froze. I had just implied that Aziz and I would get married someday. I loved him, but I wasn't sure he was ready for this.
I looked up at him hesitantly, and was surprised to find he was smiling.
"That's probably a good idea."
Beaming, I curled into his side and watched our little sisters play, feeling lighter than I had in a while.
. . .
"You sure you're ready?" Chad asked. He was a bit grumpy about the fact that I was going to be with my boyfriend for a week, but that was his duty as an older brother.
I rolled my eyes at him and slung the backpack over my shoulders. My suitcase was downstairs.
"Yes, I have everything I'll need. Before you ask, yes I brought extra clothes." This had become a regular question whenever I went to Emma or Jordan and Lea's places. Knowing my best friends, something would happen. One time, that 'something' including flooding Jordan's lamp, Lea's tiger wearing her ball gown, and Emma kidnapping two penguins, some birds, and a reindeer from a nearby zoo. Don't ask.
Alexandra, our twelve-year-old sister, sighed.
"I wish I could come."
"You have summer camp," I reminded her.
"Yeah, but Agrabah is so cool! And I miss Jena!"
I gave her a smile.
"Don't worry, I'll bring you next time I go. I looked out the window and smiled, seeing Aziz' signal. I walked up to it and opened it. I was about to give them a scare. "Bye guys!"
And then I jumped out the window. A third-floor window.
"Lori!" Alex yelled, and raced up to the window. I laughed and we rose up, enjoying my siblings' shocked faces. Aziz had brought the magic carpet to take me to Agrabah, and we had planned this ahead of time.
Chad was glaring at us, but I stuck my tongue out.
"See you guys in a week!" I waved as we descended. I had already said good-bye to my parents and explained what we planned to do, so my suitcase was outside. We pulled it onto the magic carpet and took off, laughing as we remembered my siblings' faces.
. . .
We arrived in Agrabah soon, and Aladdin and Jasmine came to greet us.
"Lori!" Lea raced down the stairs faster than humanly possible. SHe grabbed my wrist, and I'm pretty sure a few guards winced when they sawe Jordan run up behind her. "You're coming with us, we have an idea!"
"Oh no," Aziz muttered, clearly remembering the last time Lea had an 'idea.'
She stuck her tongue out at him (real mature Lea) and then dragged me back up the stairs.
. . .
"So, are you going to tell me what my sister has planned?" Aziz asked later that day, raising an eyebrow at me.
"A lady never tells," I responded in a mock elegant voice.
"I thought that was just an age thing."
"No, it's the rule of life," I said solemnly, then grinned, deciding to take pity on him. "But you'll see tomorrow."
Lea had already planned out the entire thing, and was excited.
"Dinner!" Jordan shouted, coming into Aziz' room covering her eyes.
"Jordan, why are your eyes covered?" Aziz asked, amused.
"You two could be making out or something," she made a face. "I don't need to see that again."
I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up, and take us to the food," I said, shoving her playfully in the back.
. . .
Lori's time in Agrabah will continue for a few chapters. Next chapter you'll find out what Lea's 'wonderful idea' is and we'll have some Lori/Lea sisterly bonding.
