Here is the next chapter! Sorry it seems late. I was having trouble with how I wanted them all to react and wanted to make sure that I was correct on the things that happened. I really want to keep the chapters long so it takes a hot minute to get everything down! I also watched 'Attack On Titan' and have decided to write a story over there as well. It will be Levi Ackerman/Sasha Braus fan fiction. I know it's an odd couple but I think they compliment each other very well. Anyway without further adieu Kisuke and Tiffany. Enjoy!

Chapter 2

Tiffany showed Kisuke around the barracks. The meeting room that they just left was a given. Just a big empty light green room that missions were handed out in. Walking off to the right of coming out of the meeting room was the office building. Tiffany brought Kisuke to show him where his desk.

"Wow this room is impressive!" Kisuke awed. "It's really not," Tiffany said as she watched her new captain look over the various books that lined the walls. "Didn't Lady Yourichi have a desk or an office?" Tiffany asked confused. "Yes but she never let anyone in. Why are there three desks? Ones mine obviously, and the other messy one would be Hiyoir's but who's is that?" Kisuke asked, pointing to the desk off to his left. "That is mine," Tiffany spoke as she walked up to it. "You have a desk? But you're a third seat," Kisuke stated as he started walking towards her. "Yes, well since I do more work than the captain and lieutenant I demanded to have a desk space so I didn't have to lug everything back and forth to my living space." Tiffany said. "What does that mean?" Kisuke asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It means that I've always done more than that is expected of a third set. I can pretty much run this place myself. The others respect me and sometimes come to me if they have a question or issue instead of the captain or lieutenant," Tiffany explained, turning to look down at the papers on her desk. She was checking to make sure what she had left was important or if it could wait. As she was looking she forgot about Kisuke for a minute. She bit her bottom lip concentrating on the paper she was looking at about a request from another squad.

Tiffany stiffened when she felt a breath on the back of her neck and froze. "I think you forgot about me, third seat. Now that paper in your hands can't be that important or do you always bite your lip like that all the time?" Kiskue whispered in her right ear looking over shoulder. Tiffany's breath caught for a moment at their proximity and she involuntarily felt a sweet and nervous shiver down her spine. She quickly stepped to her left and spun around to meet Kisuke's face.

"I'm sorry. I just got caught up in some work! Haha!" she nervously scratched the back of her head trying to ignore the sweet rush that came over her from him standing so close. 'I would what it would have been like if I had leaned back like I wanted to. How good would it have felt to have his strong arms wrapped around me?' Tiffany stopped for a second and frowned at her thoughts, almost looking disgusted with herself. 'What the hell? Where did that come from?"

"Are you alright? You don't look so well. Do you need to sit down? Should I call for someone from squad four?" Kisuke asked as he approached her worried. He tried to touch her forehead to check or even catch her if she felt faint. "NO! I'm fine!" Tiffany quickly shouted, almost too loudly, and stepped back some and held her hands out to keep him away. "I was just….Never mind. It's not important. Let's continue the tour shall we?" Tiffany asked as she quickly walked past him to place the paper in her hands down and rushed outside.

Tiffany showed the new captain the rest of the barracks. Where the members slept, the mess hall, rec room, training area, and then finally Kisuke's new captain quarters that was next door to Hiyori's and then on the other side of Hiyori's was Tiffany's. "You even get your own separate quarters? You must be very persuasive," Kisuke said with a wink. "Pig," was the response from Tiffany. They both smiled at each other and shared a laugh.

"Well I have some more work to complete before getting some training in before dinner. Is there anything else you will need?" Tiffany asked as she handed Kisuke the keys to his new living space and watched him walk to the door. "Aww. Don't want to hang out with me anymore?" Kisuke asked, pouting. "Not really," was the curt response from the retreating brunette. "I'll see you at dinner!" she shouted over her shoulder and waved.

Tiffany was so busy with finishing her paperwork she had completely missed the training session that night. She was in a grumpy mood all through dinner and ate quickly so she could go find Hioyri before it got too late.

Tiffany stopped by the office and peered in when she saw the light on. She saw Kisuke talking with Captain Shihoin. Tiffany didn't want to be rude but she needed to tell him where she would be. He was already missing his lieutenant; he didn't need to be missing another. That wouldn't look too good on him if something happened and he was none the wiser.

"...gave you a tour of the place? That was awfully nice," Yourichi said with a hint of what sounded like poking fun at her closest friend. "Yes it was very sweet of her to do that. Even after I….Oh! Tiffany! We were just talking about you!" Kisuke said smiling in her direction as she entered and made her presence known. Yoruichi turned around with a smirk on her face and put her arms on her hips, turning to greet the new comer.

"Sorry to interrupt. Hello again captain Shihoin." Tiffany said as she bowed to the purple haired woman. "No need for that now Tiffany. I think that we have become good rough friends to drop the formalities. Thank you for taking care of this troublemaker here and showing him around. I'm sure that it will become a full time job soon, so I apologize in advance!" Yoruichi said as she looked back at Kisuke and stuck her tongue out at him. "Hey! What the hell? I resent that," Kisuke said as he walked up to stand next to her. "I promise that it will only be a part-time job," he said in his defense. Yoruichi grabbed Kisuke around the back of the neck in a choke hold and brought her free hand to make a knuckle and started twisting.

"OW OW OW OW!" Kisuke shouted, trying to break the hold Yoruichi had him in. Tiffany looked amused at the little scuffle between them. Yoruichi looked up at Tiffany as she finally let go of the new captain. "What is that you needed?" Kisuke's hair was all over the place and he tried to smooth it out while glaring playfully at Yoruichi.

"I only wanted to tell you that I was leaving for a short while so if you went looking for me you wouldn't wonder where I went off to," Tiffany explained."Where are you going? I didn't drive you away already did I? I'm not that bad! I promise!" Kisuke said, sounding slightly panicked. Tiffany giggled at his animated reaction, catching the attention of the other two occupants.

The sound of her laughter caused Kisuke to stop his antics and stare at her. He liked the sound and decided then and there that he would try to hear that sound again. He smiled goofy like back at her with a very almost unnoticeable looked at him with a smile and responded, "No. It has nothing to do with you, I can assure you. I was only going out to hunt down Hiyori. If I don't go find her then she won't come back." "Oh. Alright then. Please be careful then. I hope you can find her," Kisuke said as he watched her turn around and leave. He stared at the space she occupied for a moment too long. He turned to his longtime friend who was looking at him with crossed arms and a 'I caught you' kind of look.

Kisuke stared back at Yoruichi. "What?" he asked as he raised his arms in the air, shrugging. "Say it." Yoruichi smiled a teasing smile and started to laugh loud and har. "You like her," finally came the response. Kisuke looked at her confused and shocked. "Of course I like her. She is a part of my squad and the only one that has shown me any kind of kindness that wasn't forced because I'm the new captain," Kisuke explained watching as Yoruichi began to double over in laughter.

"Dumb ass. I saw you blush slightly just now when she laughed! She may not have seen it or anyone else but I've known you since we were kids and know you better than most. That's not something that you could hide from me," Yoruichi said, teasing him. "That's not possible. We only just met today," Kisuke said trying to keep from remembering the dirty thoughts he had earlier about Tiffany. "Kisuke, lie all you want to me but I saw it," Yoruichi replied.

Kisuke turned the conversation to something else that was on his mind and was part of the reason Yoruichi was here "I'll be over around one to pack and move all my stuff," he said as he walked to the other side of the desk. Yoruichi turned with him and leaned both hands on the desk. "Have you even packed anything?" she asked. "Not a single thing!," Kisuke said, closing his eyes and a lopsided smile. "I'm gonna ask for volunteers to help. I know it's not the best thing to ask but I didn't have a moment to think let alone pack," he replied leaning his head on his left hand.

"Well my door is always open anytime you need anything," Yoruichi said standing up straight. "Actually there is someone in the Maggots nest I would like to talk to. I have a request in with the head captain. I'm just waiting to see if it's approved or not," Kisuke said lazily. "I will stop over as soon as I get the okay." "Someone in the Maggots next? Well whatever. I trust you. Sounds fine with me. Stop by," Yoruichi said as she was headed to the door to leave.

"Kisuke," Yoruichi said as she stopped to turn back and look at him from the door. "Hmm?" came the reply as he lifted his to look at her.

"Being a captain is a lot of fun! Just wait and see! And honestly," she said as a smile came to her and she tilted her head to the side. "Tiffany is a great catch. If you became serious about anyone it would be her. Just treat her right, I'll see you tomorrow," Yoruichi waved as she left.

Kisuke stared at the space one of his oldest friends just stood. Leaning back in his chair he smoked and thought to himself how scary good Yoruichi was at reading him. He looked up at the ceiling trying to figure out what it was that made him so interested in his third seat. He had had plenty of relationships and once offs with plenty of women but this feeling was almost foreign to him. He had just met this girl and she was a subordinate. Kisuke shut his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. He knew he was gonna have some sleepless night about this.

Tiffany didn't go too far. She went straight to squad five barracks. Hiyori wouldn't admit it but Shinji was basically her best friend and Tiffany suspected that she may have had a crush on him. They were always looking for each other and arguing about nonsense and then Hiyori would kick him in the face and he would make fun of her after scolding her. Tiffany's hunch was right. She could hear the argument from a few feet from the entrance.

Tiffany stopped and told those in charge of the gate that she was there to collect her lieutenant and said she hoped that she hadn't caused too much trouble or damage. They told her that Hiyori had only kicked one of the other guards and walked right in and started a fight with Captain Hirako. Tiffany laughed nervously and apologized for her lieutenant. The two guards said that it was alright and by now they were used to it.

After they let Tiffany in, she expertly found her way to the commutation. She had been there as much as her own barracks after all. In the clearing Tiffany found Hiyori nose too nose with Shinji yelling about 'the stupid look on Shinji's face'. Tiffany approached the duo who had not seen her or felt her presence. " How long has this been going on?" Tiffany asked the lieutenant of squad five Sosuke Aizen. He looked over at Tiffany noting the not so happy look she had on her face.

"It's good to see you again Tiffany. I hope you've been well?" Aizen asked, smiling over at her. Tiffany's frown deeper at him. 'Jesus he creeps the ever living shit out of me' she thought. "I'm fine. Thank you and you," she asked, trying to be polite. "I'm well. Thanks for asking," Aizen said looking at her. "They have been like this for half an hour or so. I've been trying to separate them but they tell me to mind my own business. I've actually been hoping and waiting for you to come over." "Is that so? Well I'm here to collect my lieutenant and I'll leave," Tiffany said, wanting to get away from him. "That's a shame. I would have loved to have a cup of tea with you," Aizen replied. His ever creepy smile never wavering.

"Yeah sorry. New captain and everything," Tiffany said putting on a fake smile. "Next time then," Aizen said as he turned his attention back to the shouting. 'That next time is never coming". Tiffany said to herself. Tiffany turned her attention to the two as well. They had amassed a crowd of onlookers. Tiffany shook her head and stepped forward. She put a hand on both of their shoulders and pushed them both back with such force that they both fell back a couple feet from each other.

"What the hell?!" they both said in unison as they looked up at the intruder. What they found was a woman looking down slightly. Her eyes were dark and they could feel an ominous aura come from the brunette standing between them. "Tiffany?" Shinji asked slowly as he cautiously stood up. Hiyori stood up at that moment but froze when she saw Tiffany. She knew she was in trouble with the look on her face.

"Umm Tiffany are you alright?" Shinji asked as he went to reach out at Tiffany. She snapped her head up to look at him and the captain of squad five yelped at the dangerous look on her face. "I take it that that's a no," he laughed nervously backing away from the pissed off woman. "Why are you here?" spat out Hiyori braving the angry woman's patience. Tiffany turned to Hiyori and grabbed her shihakusho and began to drag her away. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" Hiyori screamed as she fought against Tiffany.

"It is late. You should be with your squad getting things set up for tomorrow. And after that embarrassing display in front of captain Kisuke, you better believe that you are in for a lot of work," Tiffany screamed at the shorter girl. "He is not any captain of mine!" Hiyori shouted. Tiffany stopped and yanked hard on Hiyori to keep her from struggling and forced her to look at her. "I get it. You're pissed that Kirio left so soon but guess what? She did. Get over it!" Tiffany shouted in Hiyori's face. Hiyori looked at Tiffany for a moment stunned by the words Tiffany just said. SLAP!

The sound echoed in the now quiet training ground. All the onlookers watched on in stunned horror. Hiyori had slapped Tiffany across the face. Hiyori was staring at the taller woman. A look of a somewhat shocked expression on her face. The force of the slap had caused Tiffany's head to snap to the side. It stung. Tiffany bit down the anger that built up inside her. She knew what she said was a tad harsh but not a slap in the face harsh. Tiffany regained her composure and let Hiyori go.

Tiffany looked at Hiyori. She was furious with her lieutenant but there wasn't much she could do. Hiyori out ranked her and Tiffany wasn't about to help someone that had hit her. "Fine. I'm done here," Tiffany said angrily as she turned to walk away. Everyone stared as the brunette turned and walked away calmly. "Hiyori! You really did it this time!" Shinji said walking up to stand beside the short blonde. Hirori said nothing. She just crossed her arms and looked off to the side. "Come on. I'll set you up with a bed for tonight and speak to you captain tomorrow," Shinji told her, starting to walk to his quarters.

Hiyori wanted to tell him off but she knew that she wouldn't be welcomed back to her squad barracks tonight. So she followed Shinji's lead. Knowing she would have to make it up to Tiffany somehow.

Tiffany walked back to her barracks holding her face as she quietly cried. She was angry at Hiyori for acting this way but she couldn't blame her lieutenant. She felt the same way. She felt betrayed and abandoned by her friend. Now Hiyori hated her because she accepted the new captain. Kisuke wasn't even a bad guy. He was a tad perverted from the interaction that she had with him showing him around but he really was a great guy.

Tiffany knew that this was only a faze that Hiyori would be in but as mad as Hiyori has ever been she never slapped Tiffany like that ever.

Tiffany walked to her quarters and stopped just outside as she looked at Hiyori's door. She had to tell her captain what happened. She sighed wishing she could just go to bed and turned to walk to the office. She turned around and hit something soft yet sturdy. She felt herself falling backwards. Tiffany, surprised, grabbed at what she just bumped into. The person that was standing behind her hadn't expected her to fall and tried to catch her but the weight and pull of Tiffany knocked them off balance.

Tiffany squeezed her eyes shut anticipating the ground on her back on the pain it would cause. She was surprised when she was hugged tightly and flipped so fast that she didn't have time to think. "Ouch", came a rough and pained voice. Tiffany was squeezed to the man's chest and could feel the rumble in his chest as he spoke. "Are you alright?" Tiffany looked up at the sound of his voice. Her hair falling in front of her eyes some. Kisuke reached a hand up to tuck the hair in front of her eyes behind her ear.

Tiffany's eyes widened slightly looking down at Kisuke's steel gray eyes looking back at her with concern. "Your cheek is red and swollen. Did you get hurt just now? I thought I was quick enough to catch you and take the blow instead," Kisuke said as he absentmindedly touched her left cheek. Tiffany winced at the touch. "Sorry," Kisuke said. "I should have been faster. You got hurt because of me." Tiffany was shocked by what just happened. 'He's so fast! I didn't have time to think let alone react' she thought.

"No. I didn't get hurt just now. Hiyori slapped me for saying something insensitive about our old captain," Tiffany replied breathing heavily from the shock and confusion she felt. "I'm sorry for that," Kisuke said sadly as he looked at her. "It's not your fault. I should have known better," Tiffany said, starting to lift herself up and off her captain. Painfully aware that he held her in his arms around her waist. Kisuke instinctively tightened his hold on her waist and pulled her back down in place on top of him. Tiffany was shocked by his behavior and looked at him questioningly.

Kisuke looked at her and smiled brightly. "Now if you want me all you have to do is tell me and we can meet up in my quarters. Better yet let's go to yours. You have a bed!" Kisuke said. Tiffany stared down at him becoming red in the face. "That is not what this is! Now let me go or I'll scream!" she shouted as she struggled against him trying to get up and out of his hold. Kisuke laughed and held on tighter and rolled them over so he was on top. Tiffany looked stunned by this movement so Kisuke took the opportunity to bend his head down.

Speaking into her ear he said, ' If you keep that up you really will have me in your bed and you won't be sleeping at all but you will be screaming but not for help."Tiff stopped squirming and felt a fire ignite in her belly that she tried to desperately put out. Her mouth went dry and she licked her lips as she watched Kisuke lean up some so he was looking her in the eyes. She felt that same sweet shiver she felt earlier go up her spine. She looked up at Kisuke. She couldn't tell if he was teasing her or not.

Kisuke looked down at her mouth as she licked her lips. His eyes darkened with desire and he slowly bent back down. Tiffany watched as he closed his eyes and she followed suit waiting for his lips to touch hers. "CAPTAIN!" someone shouted in the distance. They both stopped and looked at each other. They could hear footsteps approaching. Kisuke stood up and helped Tiffany to her feet. Other than a few grass stains on his captain's shihakusho. "I'll have that cleaned as soon as I can," Tiffany said pointing to the stains. "And Hiyori is staying in the squad five barracks tonight." Kisuke looked at her and stepped in front of her close.

"We are not finished. I do want to speak about what was about to happen," Kisuke said quietly, looking intensely at her. Tiffany looked up at him and swallowed. "O-okay sir," she stammered out. "Captain! I have a letter from squad five captain Hirako!" a voice said from around the corner. Kisuke took one last look at her lips and cursed under his breath as he stepped away and went to the man yelling for him. Tiffany watched as he walked away. She rushed back into her room and shut the door fast and locked it.

She held her beating chest and slid down the length of the door to the floor. She was flustered and turned on from that interaction. "What the hell?" she whispered to herself. "I'm not gonna sleep tonight after that."
