Chapter 2: Stop Hiding.
I walked through the big double doors to the dining hall. My father stood up from the opposite side on the long table.
"Tam!" I had grabbed my plate of food and had started back out the doors to head to my room to eat where it was silent and I could be by myself. "Sit down."
"Why do you care where I eat?" I looked down at my food. I wasn't going to make eye contact with my parents, they didn't deserve it. I watched as my father inhaled a big breath of air as if he was getting ready to yell at me. But instead he exhaled it slowly.
"Tam, will you please sit down with the family to eat your food? It would make your mom very happy." Huh so he was going to play the mom card. My father knew that I still had a soft spot for my mom. I knew when my parents had rejected me and my sister. My mom was just trying to protect us...my father on the other hand had a different source of encouragement. I didn't even turn to face him to give him a reply. I walked out the room and shut the doors behind me. The soft sound of tears rang in my ears. I knew my mother deserved better… but sometimes it was just too hard to give.
The dark familiar gloomy feeling engulfed me as I walked into my most favorite spot in the world. My room. All is black and dark. That's all you need to know about my room. I collected shadows from the darkest corners of the room and began to play with them. I Made shapes and just plain messed around with them when the vibration of my imparter on my desk was coming out of the small phone for the third time today.
Bianna.
I had expected this to happen, but I hadn't come up with an excuse yet to tell her why i had to leave in such a rush. Oh well taking risks is my speciality.
"Yeah?"
"Why'd you leave?" Bianna was still in her room and she had her arms folded like she was going to only demand answers out of me but she would get them all.
"I had to go home for dinner."
"K? So, then why didn't you just tell me that?"
"Why do you care?"
"Ugh never mind. But I do have a message for you,"
"Ok? So what's the message?"
"You have to give me something first." Bianna was of course known for her amazing way of black mail people into doing stuff.
"What do you want?"
"You have to come to my house tomorrow to talk. And on top of that you can't leave till sun down."
"Ugh, k fine I agree."
"Alright then...look Tam '' She sighed so loud I could have sworn every one her house heard her. "Look I know your secret. So please stop trying to hide it from me."
"Stop hiding k?"
