To "Daya my soul" guest reader, in my last story you have mentioned about an interview of duo in the review. Can you please share its link.
Lets start :
Next day Acp woke up early as usual. He found it strange to see Dr. Salunkhe sleeping next to him. He looked around in the room and recognized it to be the guest room of duo's house.
Acp with confused expressions tried waking up : Salunkhe, ut yaar..
Dr. Salunkhe : Kya yaar Pradyuman, sone do please.
Acp : ut ja akhri baar bol raha hu..
Dr. Salunkhe : Boss, ye tumhara bureau nahi he ki tum order de raho ho.. ye mera bedroom he .. sono do..
Acp getting irriated pulls his hand and makes him sit : Ut aur ankhe khol..
Dr. Salunkhe in helpless tone rubbing his eyes : Lo ut gaya .. Bol ab kya...
Acp does not respond just gave him a stare with angry expressions.
Dr. Salunkhe rubbing his eyes: Kya yaar subah subah gur rahe ho.. kya hua... ek minute ek minute.. ye batao pehle tum mere room me kaise.. room chodo mere bed par kaise?
Acp now highly frustrated with him so in teasing tone: Jara nazar gumakar dekh...
Dr. Salunkhe did so and got shocked.
Dr. Salunkhe : Boss, ye toh Abhijeet-Daya ka ghar he... hum yaha kaise?
Acp : pata nahi... infact meri toh ye b samaj nahi aa raha he ki hum yaha kyu he?
Dr. Salunkhe gave him a clueless confused look.
Acp : chal bahar jakar dekhte he kya chakkar he ye?
Both got up and came out of the room. They went to duo who were working in the kitchen.
Abhijeet was making breakfast and Daya was laying the plates.
Duo noticed them and wished "Good Morning" and oldie duo too wished them.
Daya : Sir ap log fresh hojaiye, breakfast ready he. Sab sath main karte he...
Acp : Ha wo sab thik he. Pehle ye batao kal kya hua tha aur hum yaha kaise..
Even before Daya could reply Abhijeet signaled him to remain quiet and he himself started, "Kal Dr saab shayad kuch test kar rahe the lab me jab ap unse milne gaye. Wo chemical explode hogaya aur ap behosh hogaye.. toh hum apko ghar le aaye..."
Acp in strict tone : Sach bol rahe ho Abhijeet?
Abhijeet confidently, Jee Sir..
Acp : Thik he. Hum fresh hokar aate he.
Oldie duo went to get fresh.
Daya in confuse tone, asked to Abhijeet, "Boss, tumne sir ko bataya kyu nahi sab sach?"
Abhijeet calmly replied, "Daya tujhe kya lagta he sab sunkar Sir khush hojayenge? Nahi.. Wo embarrased feel karenge.. tu soch agar wo hamara dhyan hamesha rakh sakte he toh kya hum ek din unke liye ye nahi kar sakte?".
"Ha boss, tum sahi ho. Maine ye socha hi nahi..", replied Daya.
"Ye dekho Abhi", said Daya showing him a video on his mobile...
Abhijeet looked at the video and asked, "Ye kab kiya tune?" , in curiosity..
"Jab tum fresh hone gaye the maine chupke se camera laga diya tha hall me... ", said Daya proudly and both started laughing watching the video as it was a recording of yesterday's events including oldie duo and duo.
In guest room
Dr. Salunkhe with confused expressions : Pradyuman..
Acp : Ha..
Dr. Salunkhe: Wo chemical jo me test kar raha tha wo sirf behoshi wala chemical nahi tha... jarur aur kuch hua hoga jo dono bata nahi rahe he ...
Acp now paying attention : Jaise?
Dr. Salunkhe: Wo toh nahi pata..
Acp : Tu sure he?
Dr. Salunkhe : Ha boss pura sure hu..
Acp suspiciously : Thik he.. Chal mere sath.. Dono k dekhte he..
oldie duo come and stand near duo who are laughing watching the video. Feeling a stare on him, Abhijeet looked up. He noticed oldie duo standing so quickly put mobile in his pocket and duo stopped laughing abruptly.
Acp in strict and loud tone asked as , " Kyu has rahe the tum dono?".
Abhijeet feeling little scared answered immediately unknowingly, "Wo sir ek case ke clue ka video dekh rahe the... ".
Daya gave him a deadly glare for his mistake of relating the video to case.
Acp calmly asked again, "Case ke clue ke video se itni hasi?".
"Sir wo clue se ek incident yaad agaya tha.. ", said Daya answering his question..
Acp again asked calmly, "Kaunsa case he?".
This time Abhijeet replied as , "Sir wo pagal admi wala, jo 2 din pehle aya tha".
Acp now raised his voice little and asked, "Abhijeet, tumhe kya lagta me kaun hu?"
Abhijeet pretented of not understanding the question and asked, "matlab? main samja nahi Sir..."
Acp again asked him the same calmly with serious expressions, "main kaun hu?".
Abhijeet this time replied hesitantly, "ap.. ap ACP of Cid, Mumbai he".
"Aur?"..
Duo looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders indicating they dont know what he is expecting..
Seeing this, Acp got furious and said, "aur me tum dono ka baap hu.. samjhe?".
Hearing this Abhijeet broke into laughter and said unknowingly, "ye toh cid ka har fan janta he"...
Acp gave him a deadly glare and he stopped laughing.
Duo realized now that they were going to get interrogated by the lion himself. Feeling sorry for themselves they looked at each other and then towards oldie duo...
Acp then resumed to ask, "ye kya he? Aur ispar mere sign kaise?", showing them their yesterday's exam paper containing his signature.
Abhijeet answered in confident tone, "Sir ye toh apko pata hoga na ye kya he, agar apke signatures he toh.." to which he got a burning glare from his father.
Raising his eyebrows, "baat toh tumhari thik he, signatures mere he toh mujhe pata hona chahiye.. lekin tumhare ghar me kaise?".
To save his brother, Daya interrupted and said,"Shayad apki pocket se gir gaya hoga"..
Acp immediately stopped him by saying, "lekin subah toh tumne kaha tha ki hum behosh the".
Duo looked at each other and felt like criminals caught red handed...
Abhijeet had no reason to defend themselves due to which Daya had to speak, he said, "Wo sir, apko bich me hosh aya tha thodi der k liye, tab ap room se bahar aye aur sofe par baithkar tv dekh rahe the..".
Abhijeet felt that this was the worst of all explanations that they had given till now. He felt embarrassed and murmured, aj hum pakka marenge.. samaj me hi nahi aa raha he kya kya bole ja rahe he hum..
Dr. Salunkhe was a silent spectator enjoying the conversation.
Acp then said further, "mujhe lagta he ye paper us pagal admi wale case se related ho as a evidence. Shayad uski handwriting ho ye... aur maine evidence par sign kiya ho as a documented record... varna me kyu aise numbers likh kar khud sign karunga, he na?"
Daya immediately replied, "Ha sir, ap sahi keh rahe he, usi case se related hoga" and stopped realizing the blunder he had done.
Abhijeet gave him the deadlist glare to Daya and murmured, "lo ho gaya kaam tamam. Jaha se shuru kiya tha wahi aagaye. Ab video mangege sir.. ".
Daya heard his murmur and whispered sorry..
Acp smiled and asked, "Toh ab toh wo video dekhna padhega.. shayad is paper aur us video se clue mil jaye muje.." and he forwarded his hand to take the mobile.
Abhijeet still tried his last chance and said, "Sir rehne dijiye na, hum dekh lenge clue.. ap fresh hokar aayiye please.. bureau k liye late ho raha he...".
Acp angrily said, Abhijeeeeett...
Silently and timidly he forward the mobile.
Acp took it and oldie duo started watching it. They started watching with serious expressions changed into embarrased followed by regret and ended with angry look. After watching video they noticed duo and they were standing with head down...
Getting no response even after video was stopped, duo looked up and felt oldie duo staring at them with angry eyes. They were about to say sorry when oldie duo burst into laughter. Duo got confused and did not understand at first but later they too smiled and let out a breath...
Oldie duo happily asked now, "pata chala tum dono kitna pareshan karte ho hume?"
Duo embarrassed and shy..
Acp now stepped forward and pulled Daya's ears and asked in naughty tone, "ye recording tumhi ne ki he na, kyu chiranjeev?".
"Sirrrrr.. chodiye please...", mischievously said Daya...
"Pehle batao ha ya na?", ordered Acp twisting his ear little more..
"Ha Sir maine hi ki he...", confessed Daya in naughty tone..
Acp immediately left his ear and asked why?
Daya proudly replied as, "Kyuki me smart hu... agar me recording nahi karta toh apko pata kaise chalta apne kya kya kiya aur haste kaise?"...
Abhijeet immediately added to his statement angrily, "aur isi video se pakde b gaye.. aur interrogate b hogaye wo b acp sir se... ", and made an angry face..
Oldie duo started laughing again looking at thier sons, one was feeling proud and other one was feeling embarrassed for being interrogated by his senior...
Acp requested Daya to share the video with him as well. Daya immediately transfered the video. Later he asked, "Sir ap ye video ka kya karenge?".
Acp smiled and replied mischievously , "Jab b tum dono koi shaitani karoge toh me ye video team k sath share kar dunga..". and winked.
Duo shocked and oldie duo placed hand on thier head and left smiling...
Duo looked at each other with ye kya hogaya look...
Abhijeet murmured angrily... kuch b hojaye daant hamesha hume hi milti he... chal daya ready ho jate bureau k liye varna firse acp sir kahenge...tumhare wajah se hi late hua.. pehle bata dete sab sach to interrogation me time waste nahi hota...
Daya laughed at his brother seeing which even Abhijeet started laughing and duo left to get ready...
