Jack was sitting in his cell just like he has done for the past two and a half years since that day he was found guilty he was a model prisoner and he has become friends with some of the guards but he was still hunted by what he bone was reading a letter from Rose Anderson the woman that someone use him to rape they have been send letters to each other since he the day was send to prison he was happy to see that she has forgiven him for the role he played in her assault but sadden to hear the police was unable to find the person who was for the text cause him to hurt her to take what no person should ever take and never be able to return but he was happy to hear that she was doing good and that she was rebuilding her life and helping others survivors and started a support group to help them start over and move forward with their lives as he finishes the letter as he was going to sleep he remembers what she told him that he was a victim too and that he must live or whoever did this would rob the world of a good man so live and those words have been a source of strength so he tried to help people and went back to school and graduated and now a certified electrician and plumber and started going back to church and found god again as the next two years go by then he was standing in the warden offering him for early release for good behavior as he stand in front of the warden he was to say no that he doesn't deserve it like he always does but Rose was there this time and she talk to him and told him that he needs to stop punishing his self so he took the early release but he had to be on probation for a the last six months of his sentence he moved in small motel and he got a handyman job so he help building homes for people and fix them up for people who couldn't afford it he didn't get pay much for it but he didn't care he just want to help people to make up for his past but people still looked at him with hate in their eyes and it hurt him but he keeps moving forward because he promised her that he wouldn't take the easy way out and he been helping her fix up her old bunkhouse and rebuild her front porch he was their everyday for the past three months and they have become close friends and sometimes he wishes that they could be more but he know that ship has sailed most of the time her Danny one of her axes was over saying that he didn't trust me and how can she stand to around Jack after what he did or says that he am nothing but a rapes trying to start a fight with him but only when rose isn't around and all jack could do is clench his fist and walk away and one day jack was walking around looking for some nails to do some work on the front porch of the bunkhouse as he was walking around he overheard Danny tell rose that
