Standing in front of the mirror was Natsuki Subaru, looking himself over to make sure he looked his best. Like always, he had his classic black and orange tracksuit. Nothing was different than what he always looked like. But still, Subaru had to make sure he looked his best. He wanted to look good in front of Satella. There was also a lot of pressure on him since he would be in the presence of hundreds of thousands of people.

Walking outside of the bathroom and into the hallway, he went to the kitchen. Pouring himself a cup of coffee, he sat down on a stool and pulled out his phone. It was 9 in the morning, he still had a few more hours until him and Satella's stream would begin. Not knowing what to expect, he could only hope for the best. Maybe they would play a game together? Or they could just simply chat with each other and the viewers. Subaru preferred the latter, he wanted to talk more with Satella and possibly form a connection with the viewers. Since Satella had complimented him on his streams, he wanted to try to get closer to those that watched him.

On the lock screen of his phone, was his adorable younger sister Beatrice. She was riding on Subaru's shoulders with the happiest smile in the world. Subaru looked at the screen fondly. He remembered all the times they spent together. Tsundere was the best way to describe her. Whenever he would call her 'Beako' she would always say it sounded stupid. However, she secretly loved being called that by her big brother.

Subaru loved his sister more than anything in the world. He loved to hug her and give her head pats, she was the most adorable little sister he could ask for. Maybe he should visit her one of these days, he could also bring along Satella. Subaru could introduce her to his parents, though his Beako might not take kindly to her. However, he knew that his parents would accept her, they were very kind and always supported Subaru no matter what.

Finishing his cup of coffee, he washed the mug he drank out of and placed it back in the cupboard. He walked back to his room and sat down in his chair. Unlocking his phone and going to his messages, he opened Satella's contact.

"Good morning! How are you?" said Subaru, sending the first message of the day between the two.

"Good morning to you too! I'm doing great, I'm really excited for today." said Satella. She was beaming in joy at receiving a good morning message from her crush.

"I'm really excited too! What do you have planned?" he asked. Subaru wanted to know what they would be doing beforehand so he could possibly prepare.

"Oh, I was thinking maybe we could just chat? I don't really know; we will have to see when we start the stream." Satella really just wanted to spend some quality time with her crush. Talking to each other is the first step. She wanted him to get comfortable with her so they could further their relationship.

"Yeah, I was thinking that too. We will have to see though." Subaru had some questions he wanted to ask her. He felt he was at a disadvantage, she seemed to know more about him than he knew about her. She had been watching him for a while now, yet he had just met her the other day. He would use this as a way to learn more about her.

"I was wondering, how are you feeling? There will be a lot of people watching so I just wanted to know how you are doing." Satella had a hard time getting accustomed to so many viewers watching her. This was going to be Subaru's first time in front of so many people. She couldn't help but feel worried about him. It wasn't easy to just sit in front of such a large group of people. It takes time to get used to.

"I won't lie, I'm pretty nervous. Having so many viewers is really overwhelming. Though I won't be alone, I'll be with a beautiful girl after all." Satella's gained a light blush. Getting compliments from her crush was amazing. It would be even better if he said it to her in person. Also knowing that she could ease his worries made her happy. Just being with him was enough to calm him down and that made her feel warm inside.

"I'm happy to hear that. If you need anything know that I'll be here for you." Subaru's face gained a slight blush. Satella truly was a nice person.

"Thanks, I'll make sure to come to you if I have any troubles." He was glad that he could rely on her. Maybe she could also come to rely on him too. That time would come soon. He just had to pave the way to that future.

Soon enough, an hour had passed. The long-awaited moment had finally come. Sitting down in a black and orange chair was Natsuki Subaru. Anxiously waiting for the message from Satella, he kept on checking for a new notification. His emotions were mixed, he was excited but at the same time nervous. It wasn't good to be pessimistic, so he tried to keep himself from drifting off into his own mind.

Finally, like the light at the end of a never-ending tunnel, his phone vibrated. Opening it and seeing the notification, it was a text from Satella.

"I'm ready now. Here is my discord name "Satella#9135" the message said. Subaru opened discord and added the account given. Satella accepted the friend request and sent him a message on discord.

"There, we are ready. I'm going to call you now." As he finished the message, he received the call from Satella. Placing the headset on his head, he answered the call and turned his camera on. Satella did the same.

Looking at Satella, he could only say that she looked very cute. She wore an oversized black hoodie with orange flowers. She had black sweatpants on with orange and white stripes along the side. She also had the same headset as Subaru, hers being black and his being orange. One thing that stood out to Subaru was the 'N' logo, which was the same one on his favorite tracksuit. His cheeks turned pink as he looked at it. It made him feel happy that she admired him that much as to have a custom-made hoodie with 'his' logo on it.

Satella upon seeing him, blushed and covered her face with her hands. She could only feel embarrassed at the way that her crush was staring at her. She didn't mind it at all though, she would let him stare all he wanted. Subaru was the only one she would allow to gaze upon her so intensively. If he wanted to stare at her body, she would let him observe to his heart's content.

"Subaru, can you hear me?" she asked him.

"Yeah, loud and clear! I'm glad I could hear your beautiful voice." he responded. Satella blushed even more, she couldn't handle his compliments. Subaru was her greatest weakness.

"U-Um, we should start our streams now. Mhm, yup!" she said quickly. She was embarrassed and had to quickly change his focus.

They both opened OBS and prepared everything for their streams. It was the long-awaited stream. They were both excited, however Satella was nervous. She was worried about how the chat would think of Subaru. She knew that they might not like him so much.

"Alright I'm ready, how about you?" Subaru asked.

"Yes, I'm ready too. Let's start now." She told him. They both started their streams and waited. People began to flood into Satella's stream. All of the people that were joining were curious as to who the black-haired boy was that was on the screen alongside Satella. The viewers were flooding the chat with questions about who the boy was.

"Hello everyone, today I am accompanied by 'Pleiades'." Satella addressed the viewers.

"Hey guys, most of you don't know me but I'll introduce myself." He said while jumping out of his chair, pushing it back. "My name is Natsuki Subaru, streamer name 'Pleiades', thank you for having me here today!" He said excitedly and with enthusiasm while striking his strange pose. Subaru wanted to make a good first impression, so he introduced himself in the best way he could think of.

The chat was wild, they all wanted to know who was the person named Natsuki Subaru who also calls themself 'Pleiades.' What was his relation to their goddess Satella? Could he be a friend, or something beyond that? NO! They wouldn't allow that to happen. They wouldn't let anyone near their beloved goddess.

The chat needed answers, and they needed them now. Taking action, they fired their questions in rapid succession. "Who are you?" "What's your relationship to Satella?!" "You can't have her bastard!" "Anyone who dares to get near her will suffer!" They were all wild, Subaru was completely taken back, Satella had to step in to end their relentless assault on her crush.

"E-Everyone, please calm down. We will try to answer all of your questions one at a time." She said with a worried look. She didn't expect the chat to be this violent towards her crush. Maybe it would have been better to not have this stream at all. No! It's not good to think like that! Her eyes shone in determination. A bright fire could be seen in her eyes if you stared deep enough into them.

"Me and Subaru will each pick out a question you guys have. We will try to answer them the best we can. So please calm down, your questions will eventually be answered. There is no need to worry." With a smug look on her face, she nodded to herself, proud of how she took control of the situation. Subaru couldn't stop smiling, she looked so proud of herself it was adorable!

"Subaru, do you want to take the first question?" She asked him.

"Sure, why not. Hmm, let's see… Ah, this is a good one. AstroCole81 asked 'How do you guys know each other?'" Subaru noticed a lot of people asked the same question. They must really want to know more about his and Satella's relationship.

"We met two days ago when we bumped into each other in front of a convenience store. We talked a bit before trading numbers, then we parted ways" He answered. The chat was furious, who did this man think he was? Getting the phone number of their goddess was unacceptable. How dare he get close to her?

"Alright Satella It's your turn now. Pick a question" Subaru said

"Hmm, there are some really good ones here. Ah!" Upon looking at this specific question, her cheeks turned red. "Tobymac49 asked 'Are you two in a relationship? You guys look very cute together. If you aren't then you should hurry up and get together!'" Satella looked away from the camera while covering her face with her hands. Her and Subaru looked like a great couple? Satella's heart couldn't stop beating. She couldn't' have agreed more with Toby, Subaru and her were destined to be together!

"Umm, well~ we aren't dating… yet. But thank you for the comment, I'm happy that you look at us that way." Satella spoke the last sentence quickly. Subaru didn't hear the end of her first sentence, as she spoke the final word quietly. However, the chat picked up on it instantly and they were not happy. This left the poor boy confused at why they were all so angry at him.

The viewers all wanted to end Subaru right here and now. He is trying to take away their Satella from them! How dare he think he could do that and get away with it! Everyone was angry again; they were all riled up. Anyone who dared get close to their goddess deserved the worst punishment to ever exist.

"P-Please stop being so rude! I am very disappointed with how you guys are treating my Subaru!" After finishing those last two words she froze. Everyone went silent, Subaru, Satella, and the chat were all speechless.

Did she just say that out loud? What if Subaru heard her? What would he think? She really hoped he didn't hear her. If he did, she hoped he wouldn't dislike her for being possessive.

Upon hearing Satella's proclamation of him being hers, his face turned as red as a tomato. This was a massive success for him! Their relationship just keeps on improving every second. If it kept on going like this, he would have to propose to her right this second! (She would have instantly accepted without hesitation.)

"Hold on really? Are you already claiming me? This is a huge step forward in our relationship. Honestly that makes me really happy." Subaru said while giggling. He didn't mind her claiming him. She was so cute when she said that.

"YES! I mean no. I mean- jeez Subaru you idiot! Making me all flustered like this. You are such a bully." She said sticking her deep red cheeks out into a huge pout. Though it seems like she is mad, she is actually very happy inside. She just couldn't show it yet, the time isn't now. She would show him how she truly feels when they are both alone.

"You are so cute when you are mad, just another thing I love about you" He said in between giggles. Hiding her face, Satella placed it on her desk so no one could see. Subaru couldn't stop teasing here jeez! He is relentless, he never stops his barrage of attacks to her maidenly heart. If he keeps on going like this, she won't be able to restrain herself!

"OK! Moving on! You take the next question, now hurry up!" she said trying to direct his attention to someplace else. Subaru could only laugh at how flustered she looked. His master plan had worked. Teasing the girl was so fun, her adorable reactions are what he lives for. Seeing how "angry" she was hilarious.

"Alright, alright. Let's see here. This is a good question. CannonRocket asked 'Subaru, have you ever dated anyone in the past?'"

"Well, back then I was never popular. I didn't have many friends and most people avoided me. I guess it was my fault, I totally messed up my high school debut. Looking back at it now, I see why I stopped going to school. I'm happy that I decided to give it another chance though. So, to answer your question, no I haven't. I was a shut-in NEET so obviously I was single."

Satella was sad but mainly very angry. Her Subaru did nothing to deserve the treatment he received. He was the best person ever. None of them deserve him anyway. Satella was the perfect girl for him. No girl should ever dare to try to get near her Subaru. He was hers and hers only, no one else could have him!

Noticing Satella's anger, Subaru stepped in to calm her down.

"Satella, it's alright, I'm over all of that now. I'm living a good life at the moment and I couldn't have asked for more. Even though I had a bad past, I'm happy with what I have right now in the present." Hearing this Satella slowly began to calm down. Subaru was so strong, that is one of the thousands of things Satella loves about him.

"Ok then, if you say so. I trust you so I'll take your word for it" she said with a smile directed to him.

"I'll be choosing the next question now. Here is a good one. GhostBlade0 asked "Satella, other than streaming, what do you do in your spare time?"" Thinking about it, she never really did much. She would usually lay around thinking about Subaru. She would mainly fantasize about them having kids and living together in their own house. Though, for obvious reasons, she wouldn't say that.

"I sometimes go to a local coffee shop and order a drink while I do work. I also like to play with my cute kitty. He is a fluffy black cat with hazel eyes. I love playing with him and cuddling him. Falling asleep with him in my arms is also very nice."

Satella specifically picked her cat for his appearance. The cat resembled a special person and that's exactly why she loves the cat so much. She even named him after that person, but she wouldn't say it out loud. Especially since the one he is named after is with her right now.

"It's my turn now! This is an interesting question. SizzleSkit asked "Are you the same Subaru that FanaticalDemon always mentions in her streams?"" When Subaru read the question at first he was confused. However, after thinking about it, one person popped into his mind.

"Are you talking about Rem-rin? Yeah we have known each other for a long time. We have been friends since we were just kids. She was always very nice to me and I like her a lot. She is a great friend and a very good girl." Rem always wanted to be around Subaru. She would cling to him all the time when they were together. Most of the time, she would shower him with compliments and praise for even the most menial tasks. He never really understood why, but he appreciated it, even if it was a bit too much.

"Oh, so you have a childhood friend that is a girl. The way you described her must mean she is a wonderful person. You also gave her a cute pet name, Rem-rin was it? I wish I could have my own pet name. I would also love to meet Rem-rin in person. We would have a nice long and friendly chat together." She said with a huge happy smile on her face. This girl was just a friend after all. They weren't anything beyond friends, it's not like she is totally in love with her Subaru, right?

The chat was absolutely terrified. She was angry, she was very angry. They all went quiet as to not get caught up in the crossfire. They could only send their condolences to Subaru even if they don't like him.

"I already have a pet name for you Satella-tan. Rem is a nice girl; she is just my friend. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen her in a while." Subaru said quickly as to try to tame the furious Satella. He could feel her deadly aura emanating through the computer screen. Today he learned a new lesson, never get Satella mad. It will only lead to disaster.

"Satella-tan, Satella-tan, Satella-tan. I love it! Call me Satella-tan one more time!" She said enthusiastically. Hearing her new pet name, she completely forgot about the girl that she was so angry at. She couldn't be happier to hear him call her 'Satella-tan'. She had to hear it again!

"Anything to make you happy Satella-tan. But please don't be mad at Rem, she is a nice girl I swear." Pleaded Subaru. He didn't want Satella to hate Rem, they might meet in the future. If she kept this level of hatred towards her, a war could break out when they meet.

Satella was in love with her new pet name. She was completely drunk off of it. "Fine, but on one condition. You have to take me out on a date. If you can do that, I'll forgive you." Using his pleas for forgiveness as a weapon, she gave him a deal. This was the perfect plan, now Subaru has to take her on a date.

"Really? That's it? Well, that's a relief. I'll be happy to take you on a date." He said as he sighed in relief. Subaru was thrilled, she had basically said she wanted him to take her on a date. Now they had a date officially planned. After the stream, Subaru would have to begin planning for the perfect date Satella will ever have.

"Hehehe, a date with Subaru." She said over and over again as she wobbled from side to side. Subaru couldn't do anything to snap her out of it. Satella felt absolute bliss at the moment. She got an adorable pet name and a date. She couldn't be more happy than she was right now.

"Alright, I'll pick another question then. I think this is a good one. "ColonelMax9 asked 'What is your ideal partner?'" Subaru pondered over this question for a moment. The first thing that would pop into his mind is a girl with long silver-hair and gorgeous amethyst eyes. Satella was the one who couldn't leave his mind when thinking about this question.

"I've always been attracted to silver-haired girls. The color looks beautiful and elegant and I can't get enough of it. Having a cute face and a cute smile is always something I want my ideal girlfriend to have. Just looking at them as they smile at me, making my heart flutter, it would be really nice. Finally, a kind and caring personality is a must. I want a girl who's so nice they wouldn't hesitate to help someone in need. Someone who would help me get back on my feet after I've been knocked down. That's the perfect girl in my eyes."

Upon hearing Subaru's words, she was snapped out of her drunken state. Satella couldn't put how she felt into words at this moment. Tears formed at the edge of her eyes. The pure emotion in each and every word made her heart skip a beat. The ideal partner Subaru described was exactly what he thought of Satella. She noticed that, and she couldn't contain her happiness. She wanted nothing more than to just jump on him and give him a huge kiss. She was his and his only, she will forever belong to Subaru. Hearing his indirect confession, she could only love him even more than she did before.

The chat was left speechless. They couldn't help but agree with the man they hated. Satella was kind, beautiful, and all around a wonderful person. This is the main reason why they all love to watch her streams. Most of them are greatly inspired by Satella. Others find use her stream's as a way to break from reality and to just have fun..

"I think that's a good way to end the stream. Thank you guys so much for watching. Also, thank you for all your wonderful questions. I'm really happy with how today's stream turned out. She said while waving at the viewers. Subaru wished his viewers goodbye and closed his stream as well.

"Wow, that was an amazing stream. Probably the best I've ever had, how about you Satella-tan?" asked Subaru.

"Yes, I feel the same way. So~ about our date, when should we have it?" She couldn't help but ask. The sooner the better, but she had to make sure that Subaru was available.

"How about next Friday? I should be free in the afternoon. We could go to the mall, and then go to a restaurant."

"That sounds amazing! I can't wait for it then! You better be ready; I'll make it the best first date!" she said with a smug smile.

"That's what I should be saying. You stole my line!"

They both laughed together for a few minutes. Whenever they were together, they would forget about everything around them. They both loved each other deeply, though they weren't ready to admit it to each other. That time would present itself soon. And oh boy how they couldn't wait for that moment.

Saying their goodbyes, they both ended the call. Subaru checked the time and noticed that it was getting late. He forgot to eat lunch because of how much fun he was having with Satella. He went to the kitchen and cooked himself a nice dinner. After he finished eating, he went to brush his teeth. Once done, he walked back to his room and changed into his pajamas, he then got into bed. As he slowly drifted off to sleep, he could only think about Satella. That night he slept peacefully yet again. Subaru couldn't wait until Friday. That day would be a day he and Satella will remember for the rest of their lives.
