Author note: so i came back and fleshed out the chapter more (?) no more nakedness but the Fire keeper set stays On, this Ashen One isn't a badass walking machine of doom (he is but won't act the part most of the time) and The Knight already exists, i see no purpose to make a crappy version of it if i already follow the Knight if i want the Knight, i'll just read the Knight (blatant advertisement yo!)
Chapter 2: Making memories and reaching town
"So you found the church while traveling and decided to have a rest in here" Sasha began recapping their explanation while everyone else nodded, "then you found the children and while playing with them, the order knights came and threatened you so you beat them down to a inch of their lives with your club" Sasha was concerned on why Order knights would be dispatched so deep in the woods and for some reason knew there were monster children in here.
"Yes that i did" Not seeing the problem with his actions the undead shrugs "they should consider themselves lucky i didn't kill them, i only held back because i didn't want to give the kids nightmares at night" they didn't seem like warriors, and from reading the book he knew they would never be since it's ingrained in their instincts to not physically hurt or kill anyone.
"It seems we'll have to move from here" Sasha sighed before moving, "now that the order discovered this place the children aren't safe anymore, i'll send them to their equals before this escalates" the gentle looking nun passed by the undead and began her work to move them out as fast as possible.
"Pack up little ones, we need to run and reach a monster camp, they'll treat you well there..." the sad looking nun said, some girls were elated to finally be reunited with grown up friends of the same species, others not so much after all that meant they would be separated from their caretaker and the Ashen one.
"Won't those women teach the kids strange things? They are too young after all" the man spoke.
"Even if they look young, because they are monsters they will mature quickly enough so its no problem" Sasha reassured him with a forced smile knowing what he was talking about, and the kids would really learn strange things some would even lose their innocence after seeing what the radical faction does, but it would be better than dying at the hands of the Order.
"I hope so then i bid you farewell and good luck in your journey", the man accepted her explanation reaching a mutual understanding with the nun's plight but there was nothing he could do, "me and the Fire Keeper still have many things to see and places to go" the undead left after petting the kids earning giggles and some ardent looks.
"I'll pray for thee mistress Sasha" the gentle keeper bowed with elegance and etiquette comparable to a noble which made the nun curious about the origins of the couple before playing giving her farewells to the kids and also going out.
"Also if you find strange absolutely tasty looking fruit you better not eat it, we found out those turn humans into monsters or corrupt them enough so they will be weakened to turning" the man spoke, "do not accept food from monsters too, since they pollute it with their own demon energy when preparing it" he reached this conclusion after learning monsters constantly release DE so it wouldn't be a surprise if their food was contaminated by it.
Not long after both were gone Kunoichis assembled to Sasha position and after some talking accepted escorting her and the kids after "dispatching" the passed out knights.
"We need to find out that couple origins, the man had open disdain for the Demon lord's ways but didn't feel like he would oppose monsters if they could be negotiated with" Sasha began thinking about the Ashen and the so called Fire Keeper, "and their balance of spirit and demonic energies is also a mystery, the man could be a disguised incubus, but the amounts of demon energy the maiden had would make impossible for her to not be a monster by now, yet neither of the two had any signals of corruption even after admitting they ate prisoner fruits" the more she thought about them the more perplexed she was, "their energies were perfectly balanced and looked like pure humans, not a single drop of it spilled from their bodies to affect the environment either i would be turned a long time ago from being close to them" Sasha looked back to where the couple disappeared, "am i doing the right thing? God why don't you answer me anymore?" the pensive nun disappeared with the kids and Kunoichis deeper into the forest.
"Ashen one, i think we should have offered our help to escort Sasha, she felt like me after you gifted me eyes, so full of doubt" the Fire keeper hugged his arm pensive looking back to where the nun was.
"Ah that would be a good idea, but she also looked like a fighter who could pull her weight around if needed" He remembered her first reaction at seeing him and how ready she was for a fight, "i am sure she can escort her kids to safety if she can meet the more rational monsters along the way and not a parasitic one", he felt utter disgust at the Roper entry, they weren't monstergirls but parasites who took over and infested human women, only wanting to reproduce and increase their ranks, the worst part was they didn't change the visible body so they could mingle in society and destroy it from inside. He also remembered the Matangos, another parasitic kind, they could ruin entire regions since their spores would be carried with the wind from a fallen village to another, he did well in burning everything at the place he first encountered them, at this moment the Ashen One decided the parasite types wouldn't be negotiated with and would be exterminated at first sight either his beloved would be in risk.
"Now where do we go to from here my beloved? it's forests all around once again!" back from his musings he noticed his beloved worsening mood and tried to take her mind off it.
"Maybe we should find more fruit my knight" the Fire keeper smiled to a jaw dropped Ashen one.
"Even after reading what they are you still want them, i never thought the gentle girl hid something so fierce under her gentle demeanor" he teasingly poked at his maiden knowing where this was going looking at her reaction.
"Maybe i do Ashen One, you promised you would show me all the sights of the beautiful world" sensually began walking away to a shadowed spot while teasing him back.
"That i did my Fire Keeper" the undead followed and pulled her closer for a kiss and began caressing her beautiful porcelain body earning a moan for his efforts, to any onlookers right now it would be like a pair of banshees playing with themselves.
After hiding from possible prying eyes while making out both finally embraced one another, a first for both, both explored one another bodies without knowing what to do next they let the pleasure take the reins, sometimes it was gentle, another times it was animalistic, they had all the time of the world to discover what made their partner feel good and they wouldn't stop that for nothing right now, the fire keeper brought out the prisoner fruit for some food play, the aphrodisiac effects didn't affect them but the thought of it that made the man and woman more and more horny.
Some hours of hard undead loving later
"Maybe we should give one another names instead of referring ourselves by our titles" the spent Ashen one said while caressing his target of affection who was laying above him embracing his chest.
"Then what about Ash?" The Fire Keeper said looking up right into her knight's deep eyes and caressing his face.
"That's not so different from my title Beatrice" the maiden eyes grew and stared at the man, before stealing a kiss from the him and smiling for now she had a name to be called for.
"Hehe Did you like it? it's a elegant name for someone as fair as you" the man kept caressing his beloved who in his eyes was fairer than any woman he has seen in the encyclopedia, "now for my name maybe i should take the name of one of our old friends, what about Sieg?" the Ashen One looked at her and began gave the reason while remembering his adventures with distant eyes, "the onion knight always had his spirits high no matter the situation he was, it's a good one for a undead who refused to disappear with the old world".
"Sieg is a good name Ashen One i like it" she would support her knight at any decision he made, for her loyalty was more than the simple job of a Fire Keeper now, even before the new world she feelings for him, which she had to bottle up for the sake of her and his mission.
After deciding on their names both became hot like the flames and "linked" one another again and again while moaning and shouting their new names until night came.
"Well we finally compensated for the eons in the dark, do you think we can make kids even while being undead Beatrice?" their nature could be a obstacle but he would keep trying if she gave consent.
"It would be my happiness if we could Sieg" both share a lovely embrace before suddenly separating.
"Awooooo~"
"We could go again but it seems we attracted company so we better get ready" the undead grumpy with someone stopping their quality time dresses himself and helps his fire keeper before both once again look like banshees.
"What do we have here, two human girls deep in the forest alone waiting to be attacked by bad monster girls~" The apparent leader of the pack who reminded the undead pair of an adult version of one of the church kids growled
"Wait, one of them is male finally we can get our alpha~" one commented after sniffing the air and feeling the extremely high quality spirit energy one was giving and better yet, she felt he already had demonic energy as well, so corruption would be easier, "what a catch!" the girl looked at him with predatory eyes and was getting wet, Beatrice clenched Sieg's hand thinking they could get separated from one another so soon because of an ambush.
"Oh~ she seems to have feelings for him, we should convert her so both are happy and he can make all of us happy as well" other commented noticing both looked like twins and wrongly assuming they were escaping due to human taboo with incest, she also noticed her extreme amounts of spirit and demonic energy making her think only a little push and she also could be converted into a new sister.
"It's a good idea, now you both can be happy, you don't need to run away, just let us mate with you and everything will end well" The leader almost incapable of controlling herself spoke, this catch would make every pack in the region green with envy, the humans before her were so good she bet she could make a Beast type demonic realm with them, her lust clouded mind never stopping to think the little fact that their reserves were monstrous compared to them and this was a losing battle.
"It's a lovely proposal but i'm not planning to start an harem and Beatrice is the only girl for me, so you better scram or i'll have to beat the puppies" Sieg swung his club having none of their crap knowing these girls were creatures of instinct and once clouded by lust negotiations were impossible.
"It's sad that you refuse us, but you are just confused like every human when they meet a monster, soon you'll see we are good girls and will be all over us~" the first werewolf pounced at Beatrice trying to convert her before convincing the man to join them with their new sister, and promptly was bashed by Sieg's trusty club getting knocked out.
"I do not take kindly to someone threatening my beloved" the small pack of werewolves got wary and began circling Sieg waiting for a opportunity, he didn't kill their sister but wasn't above using violence to deal with them if needed.
Both forgone the Firekeeper and tried a pincer attack to finish him, after that convincing the pair to be their family wouldn't be as hard, sadly for them this undead had experience with ganking invaders, quickly rolling behind the werewolf coming from the front making her hit the one at his back and in their dazed condition did a three hit bash against the one who pounced first knocking her out.
"Two down, one to go, do you still want to keep up with this fiasco?" Now only the leader remained and after seeing how weak they were for a supposed violent type he didn't want to keep up with this anymore.
Sadly her lust clouded her mind once again for this was a strong alpha who put them at their place, she could only answer by attacking him just like a rabid dog from Farron's keep, thinking that by only knocking them down without killing them he was asserting himself as the leader of the pack sadly Sieg didn't had any plans of doing such a thing.
"It's sad that you choose this, even though you look like one of the church kids you are a violent type" the undead effortlessly parried her slashes and bashed her harder than the others making a bone breaking crunch sound.
"If you survive this, next time try to rein in your instincts and ask for the person if they consent and want you, also never attack his family females" the Sieg and Beatrice start walking away not looking back to the groans of pain and enraptured love expressions of the werewolves.
"Thank you Sieg, i'm sorry for showing fear i should've know that for someone who ended the age of fire those three wouldn't pose a problem, it's just that i was afraid of being separated" the maiden shrunk in a pitiful state.
"Oh Beatrice i would never change you for anyone else, neither do i want an harem, not only it wouldn't be fair to you it also wouldn't be fair to the other girl since we would live far longer than their lifespan and the shock of losing a loved one could turn us into hollows or make our ashes run cold" he caressed her and began walking again.
"It's fair forgive me for doubting you" the fair maiden embraced his arm and kept her pace with him looking a little happier.
The pair disappeared into the night not to be seen anymore to the sadness of the werewolf pack that just found and lost their alpha, they thought about following him but after seeing how dedicated he was to his sister they gave up. It's said a trio of werewolves looking for acceptance later found happiness after meeting a willing bachelor who was strong and could rein their instincts of turning his family after he introduced them.
Morning of the next day
"Ah the glorious and incandescent sun every time i see it i'm reminded we did the right thing, come Beatrice let's praise it"
After their morning routine of praising the sun once again both undeads took the road to wherever they feet decides to take them, eventually reaching a fortified town which reminded them of Lothric.
"Civilization at last, and they don't look hollow, far from it isn't it glorious Beatrice? We can finally see what became of humanity" Sieg laughed.
"But what about those knights and Sasha?" Beatrice smiled at her beloved enthusiasm.
"The knights were rude and i knocked them out before any meaningful conversation could be made, and the girlie, i think she had many things going on at the moment so she can't be used as a example" they wished her good luck in her journey.
"It seems that there's a line to enter the fort let's go" banshee looking pair of twins enters the line attracting the attention of everyone for their strangeness.
"What kind of foods do you think they have could it be tastier than the prisoner fruits we've been eating for the past days?" they began talking without a care in the world for who was listening.
"Did you get tired of their taste Beatrice? at one point i thought you would be converted since you ate so many and we did so much right after" the undead poked fun at the apparent gluttony in more ways than one of his beloved.
"I-its not like that i'm not a perverted girl!" the maiden shrunk against him in a fading voice redder than a tomato, "and you too were a animal so stop making me look like the lewd one" she began weakly beating his back.
"Oh i love you so much, but it seems we are making a scene, now everyone is looking at us you little lewd demon" Sieg teased Beatrice before asking forgiveness.
"And who's at fault here for that" she crossed her arms and looked away from him smiling.
"I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i just love seeing the normally stoic firekeeper pout and act so childish" he got forgiven and stopped.
"Excuse me lovebirds but you are too suspicious, we will need to check if you aren't monsters now come with us ladies?" the soldier never has seen a scene like this before, two ashen looking beauties in apparent mourning dresses acting like lovers, this would be a heresy against the order for they don't take kindly to people with twisted tastes either male or female.
"Ah yes right, excuse us for our uncouth behavior, but i assure you we aren't monsters, so how do you check for that?" Sieg eyed the soldier.
"Just get in this room and our mage will scan you for demonic energy and you'll be clean" the soldier noticed the lady was a effeminate looking man, "poor dude, he clearly feels affection for her but it seems he'll become an Alp before long"
"I doubt we have that, i doubt we even have spiritual energy, unless it's related to souls" the undead thought before accepting the terms.
After waiting a while a disgusting decrepit mage with a holier than thou attitude came out and spoke while eyeing Beatrice in a lecherous way.
"As the guard said before i'll test now if you are damned monsters, be warned that any sign of corruption is punished by execution so try to not resist for your own sake!"
"And if you try anything against my beloved be warned that you shall be cut down were you stand scum" the undead threatened the mage and prepared counter measures if the bastard tried anything now.
"Such travesty, as if a noble such as myself would dare mingle with uncouth twisted perverts like you who cross-dresses to look alike that woman!" He was fuming now but got the clue and didn't do anything noticing the one in front of him was much more than he showed.
Half an hour later and luckily for the mage nothing happened, but something surprised him and he got out fast of the place to report the abominations to his superiors, both having inhuman amounts of spiritual energy while also keeping demonic one in perfect balance. The undead guessed right, spiritual power was related to souls and he has feed lots of them to his fire keeper while also saving lots for his own future, and demonic energy was just a tamed form of the Dark and both were immune to it thanks to having a more primal form of it inside themselves, with him being the Lord of the Hollows and her having infinite humanity thanks to her nature as a Fire Keeper. Luckily after the abyss was purified and receded, this current Dark wasn't one that did harm and since the one in absolute power using it didn't have truly evil intentions it wasn't triggered to bring the calamities that destroyed his old world like before.
"Finally we are inside the city Beatrice, let's explore the local foods"
"Yes Sieg, let us depart"
And both monstrosities started browsing the local specialties.
