RIku's POV
I was walking to the Shuttle that will take me to the Enterprise Starship that I'm assigned to. But I was slow so I can say goodbye and good luck to Pavel. Speak of the devil and he will come, he ran right next to me. "Hello,Chekov." I said his last name with a small smile.
"Vey." He said back while catching his breath.
"Alarm went off late, again?" I ask him. He nodded as he finally caught his breath. I couldn't help but chuckle at this. "What ship do you have?" I asked him.
"U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701." He answered. I was kinda surprised by that news.
"I guess we're going to see a lot more of each other then." I hinted to him. His face turned to surprise to happiness now knowing I'll be working on the same ship with him.
"Last call for a transport shuttle for the Enterprise NCC-1701. Last call for the Enterprise NCC-1701." Said the AI.
"that's us." I said to him with a small smile. He smiled back and we left for the shuttle. When we got to the said shuttle we sat in the back like always. I took out my little tech box to look at some of my family pictures in my PADD. I finished with my niece April, who is half Caitian and half human. I put my little box away in my jacket. When we got to the Enterprise all of us new bees went to the bridge. I felt all eyes on me and whispers about me too. About me being the first counselor on this ship….big steps to fill in. When we got to the bridge where we are supposed to be at we all stood in a line… shoulder to shoulder. Waiting for the captain and the commander. I put my head down and closed my eyes to listen closer to the others.
"Captain on bridge.", said a voice. I looked up and stood at attention. The captain came in with confidence and pride….that captain was James T. Kirk. But then the commander came in with his hands behind his back and walked in stride. The captain began to give a small speech for us newbies. I eyed the cadets and saw them either fidgeting or just nervous. Then one by one Commander Spock told who is working where, until it was only me.
"Counselor Lex you will also be in third command after, I. You'll report back here after you get everything ready in your quarters." He said to me "Your quarters are floor 2 room 221.", he said as my excitement filled in. I did not show any signs on my face, but my ears was another thing, they were quivering with excitement. I nodded as if I got it. Then I left with that...Until
"Counselor,", said the Captain. I looked towards him and said, "I hope Spock, you and I will work great together."
I slipped a little smile and nodded "So do I sir." Then I left the bridge and towards my room. When I got there I saw that my stuff was already there including my drum set. I put my pajamas away and put on my Blue Uniform with my mane and put on my new black boots. Then I left my room, unknown to me a little stowaway was hiding in one of my boxes.
