Name: Izuku Midoryia
Age: Six
Quirk: Amplification
Description: When a user is feeling intense emotions or concentrates hard enough, they can amplify another person's quirk ten fold. The user can consciously decide how much or how little to amplify. Can be used on more than one person at a time.
Specialist's Notes: Izuku has difficulty controlling the intensity of his quirk. Sometimes a quirk is amplified over 100%, other times barely even 10%. I recommend sending him to a quirk doctor to help him with this.
Izuku reread the small slip of paper in his hands for the twentieth time that day, a smile of his face so bright it could rival the sun. It had been one month since his quirk had manifested, and it had been the best month of his life.
Everybody at school wanted to be his friend. They all said he had an amazing quirk that could be used to help heroes be strong. Even Katchan wanted to be his friend again. All the kids at the daycare asked him to use his quirk on them. Izuku always did so with a smile. How could he say no?
Izuku was proud of his quirk. He had just gotten the letter in the mail that told him that his quirk had been "registered". His mom said that meant that now everybody knew what it was.
Izuku had been practicing amplification with the doctor and at home. When he used it on his mom, she was able to pull the couch across the living room. He was overjoyed. Izuku's quirk was perfect for helping people. He was confident that he'd be able to be a hero now!
Izuku went to bed that night with a smile still on his face.
Izuku bolted upright in bed. Something was wrong. He didn't know what but there was a clenching in his gut that was screaming run, run, run! Then he smelt it. The unmistakable scent of smoke, just like his daddy made before he shot out fire from his mouth.
Izuku was confused. His dad wasn't here right now. Daddy was in jail for hurting Mommy. She was okay now, though. He silently crept out of bed and cautiously opened his bedroom door.
Bright, was the first thing he thought. When his eyes adjusted all he could see was smoke and fire and light. It reminded him of the scary hero that had tried to take him from Mommy. Izuku couldn't move. Then suddenly her remembered;
"Mommy!" He practically screamed. He ran across the hall to his mother's room, trying his best to dodge around the fire. Grabbing the door handle, and ignoring how his hand seemed to sizzle at the heat of it, he ripped open the door.
There laying in a pool of her own blood was his mother. The fire was the worst in this room. Izuku let out a choked sob, running over to her.
Inko was lying face down, her back a mess of burnt flash. Izuku latched onto his mothers body, burying his face in her charred hair. He sobbed for what felt like hours, ignoring the sound of police sirens and yelling, before he felt a hand jolt him out of his grief. He turned his tear streaked face towards the mysterious person.
There standing in the light of the flames was a man with long black hair and black eyes. He had what looked like a ring of bandages around his neck, and yellow goggles were worn on his head.
Izuku did the only thing he could think of, he reached towards the man and buried himself in his shirt.
Aizawa Shouta had just been on his nightly patrol when he had gotten the mass alert of an apartment complex on fire. He usually didn't help with fires, they weren't something he was good at handling, but when everyone else had reported on being too far away to help, Shouta knew he had to go seeing as he was nearby. It was protocol to have at least one hero on the site of a mass fire. And an apartment complex counted as such.
Now he stood in front of a weeping child who had just found his mothers dead body. He grumbled in his head about having to deal with an emotionally unstable child.
"Kid, I'm going to pick you up okay? We need to get out of here." When the child made no move to disway him, Shouta gently bent down and picked up the child, activating his quirk just in case they lost control of their own power.
Quickly sprinting to the open window he had used to get in, he jumped out and landed near the ambulance that must have arrived at some point while he was in the burning building.
Shouta deactivated his quirk, and was just about to hand the child over to one of the paramedics when said child started glowing a blinding green.
The paramedic gasped as her quirk, the ability to heal small wounds, suddenly repaired the entire burn on the patient she had been treating in under a second.
A nearby firefighter stood stock still as the small jet of water he had been using to quell the flames suddenly burst into a huge wave, dousing the entire building in seconds.
The police officer who had been directing residents of the burning building to the proper places using their quirk that subtly caused calm emotions suddenly had a much easier time stopping a woman from breaking down into hysterics.
Aizawa Shouta felt his eyes burn immensely as soon as the child had started glowing and the paramedic he had been about to hand the child over to gasped as his mutation quirk inverted on itself and disappeared just as if it had been erased. He barely had time to question what had happened, before the kid promptly passed out, glow fading away.
Two seconds later the paramedic had dog ears and tail again and was working on treating the sleeping greenet.
From an alleyway two blocks south of a burning building stood a man on fire. He had just gotten the confirmation from one of the police officers he had paid off that the child had been rescued, and the mother was dead. The man smiled to himself. Now everything was in place.
He'd be able to take custody of the boy as his appointed legal godfather. He had the forger he'd found on the black market make sure of it.
Everything was sent. Soon with the help of a little boy's quirk, he'd be the number one Hero, and the most powerful man alive.
