Early in the morning, approximately fifteen genin came into the academy, where Iruka was already waiting there.

"Alright, now I'll inform you all of the team compositions. Teams of genin are composed of three genin, usually anyways, and a jonin sensei. The sensei are expected to guide the genin up to the chunin exams, where genin would have the chance to become chunin, where more options will be open to them." Iruka explained. "First off, Team 8, consisting of Kiba Inuzuka, Sakura Haruno, and Shino Aburame. Your sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi."

'Hmmm, an Inuzuka and an Aburame would likely be a tracking team, just what the hell is the civilian doing there?' Akane thought.

Shino was a boy with bushy brown hair, wearing black sunglasses and a sea-green jacket with a high, upturned collar.

"Team 10 will consist of Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akimichi. Your sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi." Iruka informed.

Ino was a girl with long platinum blonde hair, its length rivalling Ishiro's, she wore fluorescent purple clothes and had an affinity for flowers. Choji was a chubby boy with swirls on his face, donning a green, short-sleeved haori with a long, white scarf over a light-green shirt which had the kanji for food over it.

"Team 9 is still in rotation, and last but not least, Team 7 will consist of Akane Watanabe, Dhuveena Hyuga and Menma Uzumaki." Iruka finished. "Your sensei will be Kakashi Hatake."

"But Iruka-sensei, what about Ishiro?" Menma asked.

"THAT LOSER PROBABLY FAILED THE TEST AND ISN'T ALLOWED TO BECOME GENIN!" Sakura shrieked.

"Speak for yourself, banshee." Ishiro mocked, brushing his hair to flash his headband.

"Ishiro is a special case, unbeknownst to all of you Ishiro had his first mission yesterday and had success. The hokage has deemed Ishiro's skills as too high for genin, and has been given the wartime rank of Elite Genin, due to the lack of ranks." Iruka explained. "He will be acting on his own, after four weeks, during those four weeks he will cycle around all four teams to learn the ropes."

"Hey, congrats!" Menma congratulated, fistbumping Ishiro.

"WHAT?! I SHOULD HAVE THAT TITLE AND NOT THAT LOSER!" Sakura yelled.

Ishiro had enough and pulled out an inkbrush and drew on a piece of blank paper, drawing an intricate pattern. "Be quiet, banshee." Ishiro said as he slapped the paper on Sakura's throat.

"Peasant, I demand you remove this paper." Sakura said weakly. The whole class of students gasped in realisation.

"Damn, you finally shut the banshee's mouth." Akane acknowledged.

"Thanks for that, Ishiro… Now please wait until your sensei arrives to take you away." Iruka instructed, before walking out of the class.

-Ten minutes later-

A black-haired woman with a slender build, wearing a red mesh armour blouse with only the right sleeve visible, as well as bandages around her left arm entered the room. "Team 8, I'm Kurenai Yuhi, meet me at training ground 8 in 20 minutes." Kiba, Sakura(scowling) and Shino left after her.

-Twenty minutes later-

A tall man, with brown eyes, olive skin, short black spiky hair, and a beard, wearing the standard konoha headband walked in. "Team 10, my name is Asuma Sarutobi, meet me at Training Ground 10 in 20 minutes." Seeing Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji stand up, Asuma chuckled. "Well, it seems like I'm training the new Ino-Shika-Cho formation.

-Two hours later-

Team 7, consisting of Dhuveena, Akane and Menma were waiting impatiently in the classroom, Menma had set up a blackboard duster to fall on Kakashi's face, Dhuveena was practicing her summoning jutsu and Akane was practicing her kenjutsu, while Ishiro was hanging on the ceiling, his feet clinging on the ceiling with chakra.

All of a sudden, the door opened, and a man with silver hair, wearing a mask as well as a tilted headband which obscured his left eye, walked in, to be met with a duster to his face, before Menma gave a hearty laugh.

"My first impression, I hate you…" Kakashi muttered. "Meet me upstairs in five minutes… Ishiro you're assigned to us, come upstairs as well."

-Upstairs-

"Alright team, and Ishiro, introductions first." Kakashi announced, giving an eye-smile.

"Umm, Kakashi-sensei, how do we do it?" Menma asked.

"Well, names, likes, dislikes, dreams for the future, perhaps some jutsu you use, hobbies etc. Here I'll go first. My name is Kakashi Hatake, for things I like and I don't like, I don't feel like telling you that, my dreams for the future… Never thought about it, Jutsu, you'll see… as for hobbies, reading I guess." Kakashi started.

'So basically we learned nothing.' Akane thought.

"We'll start with you, blue." Kakashi said, referring to Akane.

"Well, my name is Akane Watanabe, my likes, hitting people with rocks and swords I guess. My dislikes… Definitely racists. My dream for the future… I want to meet my late-mother's best friend." Akane stated.

"Right… Interesting… Next, your turn blondie." Kakashi instructed.

"Yea! My name's Menma Uzumaki! I like ramen! I don't like… People who call me demon! My hobby is eating ramen! My dream is to become the strongest hokage dattebayo!" Menma yelled.

"Okay, full of energy, right, next, Hyuga." Kakashi said.

"My name is Dhuveena Hyuga, I like cinnamon rolls and chocolate, I don't like people who hurt my friends, my hobby is, um, birdwatching. My dream is to be one of the best medical-nin one day!" Dhuveena exclaimed.

"Okay. Finally, Ishiro." Kakashi called. "You are allowed to use your last name."

"Ok then. My name is Ishiro Uchiha. I like dango and trenchcoats. I hate the civilian council, and the advisory elders. My hobby… cooking I guess. My goal is to revive the Uchiha Clan's name." Ishiro stated.

"Alright. Tomorrow meet me at Training Ground 7 at 8 in the morning." Kakashi stated. "I'll give you all your final test."

"But I thought we had a test?" Dhuveena asked puzzled.

"That was to filter out the weak ones, tomorrow we will have our final test. Also, I advise you to not have breakfast, you might throw up." Kakashi explained, before disappearing in a whirl of leaves. Ishiro taking this as his cue, stood up and disappeared as well, leaving the remaining three dumbfounded.

-The next day-

"Yo!" Menma announced, arriving at Training Ground 7.

"So, any idea where Kakashi-sensei and Ishiro are?" Dhuveena asked.

"Don't know, Ishiro treated me to ramen yesterday though." Menma declared. "He did say he'll be late."

"That's thoughtful." Akane exclaimed. "But what about Kakashi-sensei?"

-With Ishiro-

Ishiro stood in the middle of the forest, specifically in front of a monument. A slab of stone, shaped like a kunai, with at least fifty names inscribed on it. Ishiro specifically focused on two of said names. Fugaku Uchiha and Kagura Uchiha. As Ishiro moved his hand up to the two names, tears began to shed down his face, forcing him to drop his bouquet of Hyacinth and Myosotis which he brought. He wiped the tears with the broad right sleeve of his black trenchcoat, before placing the flowers on the foot of the memorial.

"Kakashi-sensei…" Ishiro muttered, as Kakashi stepped out of the bushes.

"How did you know?" Kakashi asked.

"I'm a sensor." Ishiro replied, to which Kakashi nodded. "Here to visit Lord Fourth?"

"Indeed. Also my old teammate, the one who taught me what mattered. You're here to visit…?" Kakashi informed.

"I'm here to visit my parents." Ishiro stated. "Did you know them?"

"Your father was my idol, and your mother entrusted me with your safety." Kakashi explained. "I feel honoured to be able to look over my hero's son…"

"I see… Do you ever miss your teammate?" Ishiro asked.

"I do… Everyday, I visit this monument every morning, do you?" Kakashi asked.

"I come every evening." Ishiro explained. "But I decided to come in the morning today."

"I see, you want breakfast?" Kakashi asked.

"Already ate." Ishiro stated.

"But didn't I tell you not to?" Kakashi asked.

"It's a trick, wasn't it? If you don't eat breakfast, the test is as good as failed." Ishiro deciphered.

"How did you know that it was a physical test?" Kakashi asked, astonished.

"Isn't the bell test a physical test?" Ishiro asked, nonchalantly.

Kakashi decided to ask one more thing. "Have you awakened the sharingan?"

Ishiro nodded, and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he revealed red pupils, with two comma-shaped tomoe within each.

"I see, may I request you do not use them until your first mission?" Kakashi asked. "The council might attempt something."

"I know. That's why I haven't used them and only practiced in private." ishiro explained.

-Two hours later-

Kakashi and Ishiro arrived at Training Ground 7, to be met with the three Team 7 genin.

"Hi guys." Kakashi waved.

"YOU'RE LATE!" All three genin yelled, clearly irritated.

"Well you see, a black cat crossed our path, and we had to walk the longer way." Kakashi said with an eye-smile.

"THAT'S A LIE!" Menma yelled.

"Right, right now, for your final test." Kakashi said, as he pulled out two bells. "This test will be for the three of you, and you three will need to take these bells from me before noon, the ones without a bell will fail, not have lunch, and go back to the academy. Without further ado… begin."

Dhuveena and Akane immediately jumped into nearby bushes, while Menma walked up to Kakashi.

"Good, it seems like everyone is hidden properly…" Kakashi muttered, as his eyes scoured the area, before they fell on Menma, who hadn't found a place to hide. "Aren't you supposed to hide?"

Menma said nothing, and ran at Kakashi, who reached into his pouch and pulled out an orange book. "Ninja tactic number 1, taijutsu. I'll teach you that first."

"Then, umm, why did you take out an orange book?" Menma asked, puzzled.

"I'm curious at how this story would develop." Kakashi said, peering into the book.

"I'm going to pound you!" Menma yelled, but right before his punch connected, Kakashi disappeared, Menma being tied to a tree by his feet. "Damnit."

Menma started complaining, as Kakashi reappeared. Right as Kakashi was about to speak, Akane threw kunai and shuriken at Kakashi, the latter substituting with a nearby log. As Kakashi appeared again, Akane quickly launched a 520 degrees hook kick, being blocked by Kakashi, she aimed a kick from the top to land on Kakashi's head, only to be caught again. Akane then smirked, and braised the bell, before Kakashi threw her aside.

'Impressive, didn't even have time to read…' Kakashi thought to himself, as Akane unsheathed her sword.

Akane jumped into the air, performing a quadruple flip, before slashing down at Kakashi, the latter narrowly dodging. Akane then capitalised, dashing forward, successfully landing a slash, only for that Kakashi to be revealed as a log. Suddenly, Kakashi's hands emerged from the ground, pulling Akane down into the ground, with only her head remaining above ground, before Kakashi once again resurfaced.

"Your talents are exceptional." Kakashi acknowledged, before walking away to find Dhuveena.

Suddenly, Dhuveena burst out of a bush, stopping to see Akane.

"Hey there." Akane greeted.

"What happened to the rest of your body? Why are you a severed head?!" Dhuveena asked, until she facepalmed herself when she realised what had happened, before helping Akane out.

"At this point, Ishiro will just lose to Kakashi-sensei wherever he is…" Akane muttered.

"Probably, but ever try teamwork?" Ishiro asked, appearing on top of a tree, before letting Menma down.
