Ok, some strange shit went down. While I was on guard duty the area around us became a bright white and then I think I passed out. I woke to Diamonds shaking me. When I looked around I knew we were not in our own world. These tall colourful trees were surrounding us, and the sky was a slight pink. It seems that everything is more bright and colourful. Everyone in our militia was trying to figure what happened, all while trying to set up camp. I don't know where the fuck we are, but I know this isn't earth, this is the monster world. I haven't read much about the monster world itself or the other realms and things, but I don't think this is the actual monster world.
The other aces and I set up our tent near this river that was nearby. The river was weird. I was gonna fill a pot of water to boil it, and the water seemed kinda different. I don't really know how to describe it, but it was slightly pink like the sky, and it just splashed around in a way that seems different, you would have to be there to understand. I know the mamanos world is different from ours, but I didn't know that it would be this different. I also know that they have magic that can do crazy things, but I didn't know they could teleport an entire town of people into some other world. Whatever we're dealing with is magical as fuck, and I don't know how to deal with magic. Except maybe fire magic, and that's if it doesn't send you flying backwards or instantly disintegrate you. And they probably wouldn't use magic like that unless it will somehow knock you unconscious, or if you send them to a point where they want to kill you.
We have made plans for an emergency escape because they sent us here for a reason, and they probably have us right where they want us. Hearts says that if shit goes down we are gonna have to leave people behind. He also said that if I don't man up and kill someone, I am gonna get one of us killed or captured. It sucks but it's true, us 4 can't save everyone, and there might be a time I do need to save someone by killing someone else. I wish I was a bit stronger so I could do more things, especially things that are important now like killing.
Anyways, I walked around the place and looked around. Everything seems off, and it makes me feel weird. I can see giant mushrooms in the distance, probably a 20-30 minute walk away. I also walked in the woods for a couple of minutes to see if I could find any familiar plants, and the entire time I felt like I was being watched. And no, none of the plants look recognizable.
Hearts is making sure our shit is packed and ready to go in case shit goes down. He also told us not to make a fire so we don't draw attention to our tent. He assigned clubs to keep watch, and he just sat down facing the woods, twirling his knife in his hands. Diamonds was trying to help organize things around our camp and help out people with setting up their tents. I had nothing to do, and I didn't want to do any work, so I sat down next to Clubs.
He and I started talking to each other about things. Apparently, he lived most of his life with his dad after his parents got divorced, and his father was too focused on other things like hunting and his job, so he didn't really have any family that cared about him. When I asked him who he misses most, he said "Noone really". When I told him about how I think the whole card name thing is stupid, he agreed with me and told me to just humour it, and look at it as a good thing since it makes our squad unique. I told him about how I don't want to kill anyone, and he told me that one day I'm gonna have to do it and that it could be soon. He and I talked for the next couple of hours about other things that aren't really noteworthy. I haven't read about this world, so I don't really know what to expect. If I read just a bit more of that encyclopedia I probably would've known about this world and what type of mamano inhabit it. If only we had wifi right now.
I also don't know how in the hell we are gonna be able to escape this world. Magic got us into this place, so magic will get us out. But which mamano with magic is even trustworthy? From what I read in the encyclopedia none of the ones I learned about can create portals and teleport people and stuff, so that means that we have to find a magical mamano, which can create a portal to and from worlds, which is also trustworthy. It probably is easier to find some mythical creature like a wendigo in a forest than someone like that. And it actually probably would be since I think there is a wendigo mamano and I'll just take a guess and say that they are in the northern woods. Well, it'll be 9:00 pm soon, so later.
