Class 1-A was always the centre of attention.
Mina plopped into one of the chairs in the common room. She and Kaminari had been out shopping for some groceries when they ran into a bunch of people who seemed to know who they were. They knew a lot about them.
Too much information in the public's hands.
Kaminari, however, didn't seem to mind it too much. Maybe he didn't even mind it at all!
"It was awesome! Everybody knew who we were, and I was the centre of attention!"
He didn't seem to have noticed that Mina didn't like it as much as him.
The students may be uncomfortable with all the attention. They are just kids, after all.
"Nobody cares, Dunce Face!"
Bakugou didn't need to listen to the human phone charger rattle off about how much he loved the attention. It was useless, anyway, the public's opinion.
They've been assigning certain roles to the students, which may severely limit their hero work. Like Bakugou, who may be perceived as a villain or a dangerous person by the civilians due to his brash personality.
Midoriya was just happy for them. However, Mina seemed to be a bit tired of all the attention.
"Mina-san, are you okay?"
Yaoyorozu may need to change her hero costume because of this.
"Ah, yes, Midoriya!"
She didn't HATE the attention, but she didn't particularly like it, either. She was used to it, she was the popular girl in her middle school, after all. But this time, it just felt… off. Maybe it was a few of the stares. They didn't seem to give off a friendly or neutral vibe. She didn't mean to worry anybody, of course! She just needed to relax for a moment. Kaminari was making her laugh today. She was sort of worried for him. But she wasn't gonna tell him that and worry him now, he seemed to be so happy. He didn't seem to have minded the attention.
Are you sure this is safe, Nezu?
No, Aizawa. But I am afraid to say that I do not have another choice.
What do you mean?
Tokoyami sighed. He couldn't possibly handle all that attention.
You know the public, don't you? Changing would just mean worse news for everybody. It would mean that we are scared of the villains, and as the top hero school in Japan, we can't have that!
Kaminari wasn't completely stupid. He did notice some of them were kinda mean-looking. But not most of them, so he wasn't really worried.
