Data Log Entry: April 21st 2016
MC sits in the same computer chair. Her long brown hair rests on her shoulders as the serious expression on her face was lit up by the light from her laptop.
MC: I have reviewed the latest information given to me by my boss. As per usual I will create the data log describing what action I will be taking for my own purposes and to document everything in the off chance that something may happen to me.
According to the information that we know off hand, many people have gone off the radar. In other words there has been a spike in missing person's cases. However, the spike isn't enough to draw the attention of local authorities. It has been brought to our attention due to the recent reports of abnormal behaviour and infrequent appearances by select individuals. Those who had seemed to be happy go lucky people suddenly saying things that may come off as a bit odd or who stopped going about their regular routes.
Apparently I was hired to investigate the matters. The client I will be working for has claimed that many in their organization have started acting strangely coinciding with security breaches of their personal information. What I thought was going to be a standard information mission is actually a little more in depth than expected.
This will be a full infiltration mission. In theory right now, it is believed that these disappearances and strange behaviour is connected all together under one source. If I have learnt anything from this job and through school, then signs like these point to some sort of cult organization.
Based on some of the noted people in the reports there are a large variety of different types of people. There are inconsistencies with the data analysis to pin point to an exact reason as to why these people were affected. In the end this really could be nothing and a complete waste of my time, but that's my job to figure that out.
Right now I have to try and catch their eye. I'm being relocated to the area where these are happening in the hopes that I can draw attention to myself and find out who these people are.
