A/N: Well, it's been a bit over 2 months since I last updated this eh? Not going to lie, I just found better things to do like playing other games or watching YouTube in general. It was thanks to my good friend SamsaraTensei (Or Shinmai, as he's now known as) who kept on badgering me about this fic that I finally managed to complete it.
If you ask me, he just wants to see me write smut and embarrass myself, but don't tell him I said that :P
... You're here aren't you Sammy? Darn...
Thanks to the people who reviewed (Guest, kent, Camunrha, TetsuChris, Rodvek97 Ruberforumfree) and thanks for pointing out the typo in the first chapter. I have gone back and fixed it.
Anyway, without much further ado, let's get into the story.
I'm open for betas btw, so if you wish to beta this, send me a DM here, or on discord. You can find me in Shiro's Gaming Omniverse (LOLZ1337) or in SamsaraTensei's private server.

I drooled at the item I had obtained from the gacha system.
After I completed the tutorial, I was awarded with a legendary item gacha token, which guaranteed an item of S rarity from the current item pool: COD, SCP and Dota 2.
To be completely honest, I was skeptical of the gacha since I didn't have anything to base the ranks off of. Sure, I still had the tutorial sword still but that was a rank F item, which just cannot be compared to something of S quality.
For all I knew, the reward could be something useless to me right now like crafting materials that I couldn't utilise, or it could be something considered as S tier in game, but means crap for someone like me. It could even be something that was completely not suitable for whatever world I was in, or whatever build I would choose.
I had never been happier to have been wrong in my life.
Name: Aghanim's Scepter +0
Rank: SS
Requirements to wield: Have at least one level from any Magician class or subclass.
Equipment Slots: Main Hand/Auxiliary
Stats: +10 to all basic stats; +175/175 HP/Mana
Effects: While you have this item equipped, increase the tier level of ONE of your skills by 1 rank. While this item is in the main hand, gain the ability to use [Elemental Ball] and gain 10 damage.
Description: The scepter of a wizard with demigod-like powers. The true history of the wizard has long since been lost to time, but their actions and legends have been etched in various forms throughout the entire multiverse.
The stat bonuses were decent, a free +10 to all basic stats and a 175 flat bonus to HP and Mana was always useful.
However, the stat bonuses were not what put me in my current state.
It was the item effect that made me start drooling. One of the effects was that it could increase the tier level of one of my skills by one. Remembering back to what I learnt in the tutorial, that essentially meant a 125x power boost to a single one of my skills right off the bat.
The fact that the item came with its own spell was just the icing on the cake.
Without hesitation, I claimed the item and immediately tried to equip it into my main hand.
The keyword being tried.
In my excitement, I had missed the requirements for the item.
'Hey Game, how do I get levels in Magician classes, or any class for that matter?' I asked the system. 'I hardly have any stats, much less a class.'
Well, you will get to choose your class when you create your character of course! You don't have many stats, nor do you have a class because you don't have a character yet.
Well… That was actually a reason which made perfect sense. I was expecting some bullshit reason like 'you have to work your way up from virtually nothing'.
While that may have been the case in other stories, your story will not be like that. You'll have our full support through every step of your journey~!
That's reassuring to hear, thanks game.
After that, I spent some time admiring the look of my new item.
It looked almost identical to Loki's scepter from Marvel, with the only differences being that this scepter was fully straight and the stone was a bit larger. Other than that, the colour and size of the scepter, the stone and even the blade-like protrusions were identical.
Looks like someone is a fan of Marvel eh?
… Tee hee~
Anyway, after I finished giving the scepter another once-over, I decided to proceed with what excited me as much as the item gacha.
The summoning system.
However, when I tried to click on the summoning option, I noticed that it was greyed out and I couldn't access it.
Well, that option is locked until you actually create your character. As of right now, you don't have a name, and you can't go around the rest of your life being called 'player' can you?
But won't I have a different name for each world I'm in?
No. You will have one name that spans across every world you will be in. Only your surname will change according to whatever modifiers you choose to start with. If your name sounds too… Outlandish or strange, you will be given the option to modify your name to one more suitable for the world.
Awwww, and here I was hoping that I could get a name about as long as someone like Dumbledore… Not.
To be honest, I was actually thankful that I wouldn't have to go into the trouble of creating a new name each time. Just having a first name and getting your surname decided sounds much better than creating one from scratch.
Yes. I am not that creative with names, sue me.
I foundered around for a bit, going through every option in my menu trying to figure out how to create a character but I couldn't figure out how.
I was about to ask the system when I realised there was one thing I hadn't tried yet.
'Create character'
Lo and behold, the character creation screen appeared before me, making me feel like an idiot that I didn't try this first.
Please enter your name:
A semi-transparent keyboard appeared before me as the prompt to enter my name was typed across my vision. However, as I tried to input my name I realised something very important.
What was my name? Why could I not remember something like that, yet remember stuff like the fanfictions I've read and games I've played?
Sorry about that, we could only salvage a certain amount of data from your world to this place. All the info about your previous life that isn't included in the system has been erased.
That sounds… Ominous. Salvage? Erased? Those were some pretty strong words and the phrasing made me feel very uneasy.
I was about to ask what had happened and what led up to my death, but the game interrupted me before I could speak.
What I mean by that, is you were so drunk when you died that your mind was basically an absolute mess. You walked onto your balcony and climbed over the railings thinking that you were climbing into your bed. We really couldn't recover that much because you fell head first down and through some high voltage power lines.
… I am not touching alcohol ever again, and I think I was better off not knowing how I died.
My painful way of dying aside, it was time to come up with a new name.
'Aoste'
For some reason, that name popped up into my head when I thought that I needed a new name. It sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite place where I had heard it before.
With no reason to not choose that name, I entered it into the system.
Your name will be: Aoste. You cannot change your name once you select it. Do you wish to proceed? Y/N
Seeing no reason to refuse, I clicked on the Y option and didn't even wait for the next screen to appear before going back to the summoning option.
… … … That name…
The low muttering made me pause.
Did the name I picked mean something to the game? Was it connected to my past, which I can't remember?
It's nothing, just myself thinking about some stuff. That aside, you might not want to proceed to the summoning option yet, because you haven't-
The game was hiding something from me; it was obvious from the way that it tried to change the subject. However, I somehow just had a feeling that trying to push the game wouldn't be a good idea.
Better act as though I was listening.
'I don't care. I want to do it now!' I replied in a very childish tone of voice and ignored the rest of what the game was going to say.
Although I acted childish, I kept what the game said in the very back of my mind for later. I hoped that the game wouldn't pick up on my doubts about it
Fine, fine. But I reserve the right to say "I told you so" after the summoning.
It seemed like it didn't notice my thoughts, or it did but just chose to ignore it. Either way, it still gave me the green light to go ahead with the summoning.
To my delight, the option was indeed unlocked and without hesitation, I pressed the summon button.
I watched with rapt attention as two transparent blue cubes with white cores materialised before me and started vibrating while floating in midair. They slowly started to rotate and spin while emitting bright cyan rays throughout the room.
It truly was a breathtaking sight to witness in person as opposed to seeing it on a screen.
The spinning soon reached a crescendo and the cubes leapt up into the air and combined, emitting a bright light that forced me to cover my eyes. I heard a small boom and a humming noise as the light slowly died down.
As I lowered my hands, I heard a voice that I knew too well start speaking.
"Yorktown-class 2nd carrier Enterprise reporting. I will neither sympathize nor treat my enemies with mercy, but go all out. Such is my way."
- Enterprise -
Enterprise was confused.
She doesn't know how she got here, nor does she know where this place she was summoned to is.
She tried to remember what happened to her before she arrived, but she could only vaguely recall fragments that seemingly had no relation to each other.
The majority of the bits consisted of explosions, screams and gunfire, with a select few being good memories of her times with… People? Who were they? Who was that white haired woman in a maid dress? Who was that violet haired woman in what looked to be a nun's outfit? Why did they all seem so familiar?
Why could she not remember their names?
As she pondered about her fragmented memories, she mechanically spoke her traditional introduction phase to nobody in particular, not expecting a response.
She was jolted out from her memories when she heard a voice actually respond to her greeting.
"Hello Enterprise. It's a pleasure to meet you in person."
She whipped her head around, but she couldn't see anyone; all she could see were the smooth white walls and the blank floor of… Whatever place she was in.
It reminded her of a very clean laboratory, just without your typical laboratory equipment.
Suddenly on guard, she readied her bow, nocked a few arrows from somewhere and pointed them in the direction of the voice.
"Show yourself now. Who are you, and what do you want?" she said in a firm tone.
She heard a fumbling sound as the voice spoke again, this time in a more panicked manner.
"Woah woah! I mean you no harm, I just wanted to greet you, that's all!"
Drawing back her bow further at the non-response, she once again asked.
"Answer me now. Reveal yourself as well, I will not ask again."
A small part of her mind said that she was overreacting and that she shouldn't be so rude, but the more logical part said that she should be on guard. She listened to the more logical part, because she was in a completely unknown territory with an unknown and invisible person somewhere near her. She had to ascertain their intentions before she decided what to do.
"Can't you see me?" The voice asked incredulously. "I'm standing a few steps in front of you. As a matter of fact, you have your bow aimed directly at my head, so how can you not see me?"
This threw Enterprise off slightly because she could not see anyone.
"What do you mean?" She asked, still keeping her bow readied. "I can't see you anywhere"
The voice went silent for a moment as though it were thinking about something. Soon, it started speaking again.
"Alright, I know of one thing that might help. I'm going to materialise a sword to show my location okay?"
'Materialise a sword?' She wondered, trying to figure out what that meant.
Before she could think about it any more, she saw a rather normal looking sword appear floating in midair as though someone were holding it. Had she not been warned beforehand, she'd have instantly released the arrows she nocked.
"Can you see this sword?" The voice asked her.
Enterprise nodded slowly but still didn't lower her guard in the slightest.
The voice let out a sigh of exasperation and said in a calming tone.
"Look. I've given away my position when I could easily have just snuck away. If I was an enemy would I have done that? You are in an unknown place in which I brought you here, so I have no reason to give up my only advantage am I correct?"
Enterprise had to admit, every point that the voice raised made a lot of sense. After thinking about it for a while, she loosened her stance and lowered her bow, the arrows vanishing to… Somewhere.
"Thank you." The voice said in what she interpreted as a relieved tone of voice. "Now, to answer your question, I am Aoste and I am from a place called Earth…"
- Aoste-
'That was a close one' I breathed a sigh of relief. I never expected Enterprise to be so cautious.
I told you so~.
Shut up game. How was I supposed to know that I wouldn't have a body yet?
Well, you were on the character creation screen and you left directly after you made your name. You also didn't-
I tuned out what the game was saying and instead focused on Enterprise and how she looked.
Enterprise looked exactly as she was in game. She had the same bow, the same white hair colour, the same black coat, the same everything. The only exception being that she didn't have Reaper around.
I wonder if she has a skill to summon that eagle and if she did, I wonder what it could do.
Right now, she was staring at me strangely, as though she couldn't quite believe what I was saying.
I wouldn't either, truth be told, if anyone told me such a tale like that.
Being able to live life as a game is probably the most outlandish fantasy to ever exist.
"Riiiight…" Enterprise said a tone that was dripping with disbelief. "So let me get this straight. You were drunk and got yourself killed, then you woke up in this place and your life is now a video game?"
"Right on the nail." I responded plainly.
"And you have the option to also summon rigging like me, the ability to see the statistics of people and items, along with the ability to gain items and skills from a… Gahkha?"
"Ga-cha" I corrected her. "The 'ga' isn't quite as heavy as you make it to be, and it's 'cha' like 'challenge' the 'cha' is pronounced the same."
"Gacha. Okay." Enterprise said. "Forgive me if I seem rude, but I don't quite believe it."
Well, that was expected. I would have reacted the same, had I been in her position.
At that moment, I realised that I still had not finished creating my character yet. When I realised that, an idea came to my mind about how to prove to Enterprise that this was real.
'Game, please make the character creation screen visible to others for now please'
Done. In the future, you can just say if you want specific screens to be visible to other people or not.
Handy. Just need to make sure I'm completely alone when I choose to make them visible to others then.
"Hey Enterprise," I called out to the white-haired woman. "Maybe this will make you believe me"
Confirming the option of visibility, I once again, opened the character creation menu and I proceeded to the next step.
I smiled internally when I saw the semi-transparent menu appear before me and Enterprise's gasp of surprise.

[-] You only gain 1 to all basic stats every time you level up instead of 2

Jeez… There are a LOT of classes to choose from, with each having their own upsides and downsides.
The movement speed penalty seemed pretty debilitating truth be told, moving even 50% slower is basically just making you a sitting duck, especially early on. True, you do get a lot more tankier with those classes, but I think that being able to avoid an attack altogether is still superior than getting hit and negating the damage taken.
After all, no matter how strong an enemy attack is, if it can't hit you, it's meaningless.
There was also another factor to consider, my starting gacha item seems to be more inclined towards magician classes, so that meant that if I wanted to utilise that item to its fullest and not just for the effects, I would need a good amount of INT.
This meant that my only real choices were a Carrier or a Light Carrier. The Carrier Stealth effect would also be a very nice bonus if it did what I think it did.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Enterprise speak up from behind me. Due to the numerous options, I had quite forgotten that I chose to make this screen to be visible to her as well.
"Are these… Ship classes?" She asked in wonder as she read through all the listed options. "Do you get to choose one to be?"
"They are." I nodded in affirmation before realising that she couldn't see the action because I was apparently transparent for her. "Do you believe me now, when I say that this is like a game?"
She nodded mutely at my words before turning back to the options and looking over them again.
As she looked at the options, I was also going over them in my head, debating the pros and cons for each class. I wish I had someone to discuss this with.
It was at that moment, I slapped myself mentally when I realised who was with me. Here was someone who was an actual ship and someone who must have seen all of these types in action. Surely, she could provide some insight as to the actual performances.
"So Enterprise, what class do you think I should pick?" I asked her. "I am curious as to what someone like you would think."
Enterprise looked a bit surprised at this.
"Why would you ask me?" she asked incredulously. "I'm not that familiar with these 'classes' either"
I deadpanned at her, once again forgetting that she could not see my face.
Old habits die hard.
She must have realised what she had said and what I was doing, because she blushed slightly and coughed before clarifying. "I don't mean it like I don't know what they are, I mean it as in your case. What do all these stats and values mean?"
That's right, she's from a different place altogether. As a result, she might not understand RPG terms like STR, INT and AGI.
"Alright." I began, mentally going over everything that I think she needed to know. "RPG stands for Role Playing Game. In those types of games, there are usually numbers which we call 'stats'..."
- Timeskip: 3 hours -
I had to admit that I lost track of time after I started explaining to her the basics of an RPG game.
She was a very good listener and actually asked a few very good questions that forced me to think about how to answer.
During that time, I learnt quite a bit about her personality, aided of course, by the system.

Description: A shipgirl summoned by Aoste. She is someone who is very down-to-earth and extremely diligent in performing her tasks. However, she often neglects taking care of herself, usually eating plain MREs and sleeping the minimum amount of time required for her to function. Her reasoning is that if she does all the essentials quickly, she'll be able to reserve the most amount of time for her duties. As a result, she is unaccustomed to luxuries and may feel uncomfortable when presented with such things.
Thoughts about you: Doesn't know you, but wants to get to know you better. You are her commander.
Affection: 6/100
To be completely honest, I felt a bit bad about using the system for things like this. It feels like a complete invasion of the person's privacy, being able to instantly know about their habits and their opinion of you just by interacting with them.
Luckily, when I showed the screen to her, she could only see the stats and not the description, thoughts or affection value. It seemed that those were only visible to me.
Dubious morality aside, our discussion actually yielded some very good results. On top of gaining the six affection points in just the span of a few hours, Enterprise also cleared up some things I wasn't sure about.
Namely, what class I should choose.
Logically, I would have chosen a Light Carrier or a Carrier as my class, but she quickly made some very good points against that. After I explained to her about RPG games, the system and answered all of her questions about them, she pretty much instantly came to the conclusion that I should choose the Aviation Battleship class.
Her reasoning was simple, she quickly understood that being a gamer meant infinite possibilities. And with infinite possibilities, locking yourself out of certain stats right from the start and making permanent changes to the values of what each stat does vastly limits your choices. Choosing a Carrier or Light Carrier class would be doing exactly that; I would be locking myself out from the FP and TRP stats without even experiencing what their actual performance would be like.
When I pointed out about the speed debuff, she easily countered it by saying that moving 25% slower was a fair trade for keeping all avenues of stats relevant and open.
I found myself agreeing with every point she made.
It really amazed me, the fact that she was able to absorb everything I told her so easily, and then actually apply it. It was always something I wished I could do back when I was still alive, especially when I was still at school.
Together, we were able to come up with a good idea about my general build.

We both decided that using the status points granted from my level up immediately would be the best. My stats were so paltry right now, that using those 5 almost equated to a doubling of my HP and MP values. That little bonus might be the difference between life and death.
After the character creation was done, I decided to proceed to the world selection menu. In the menu, I saw many familiar franchises and each of them had their own rating from 1 being the easiest, to 10 being the most difficult.
Unsurprisingly, most of the more famous franchises like Naruto and Marvel actually had rather high difficulty ratings, none of them being below an 8. However, their rewards for completion sounded extremely attractive, even if I didn't know what they were.
I don't know what a "Madness Improbability Drive" was, nor did I know what an "Admin Command Console" was. When I tried to ask the game for more information about what they were, it just laughed and said that it didn't want to spoil anything.
As I scrolled down past the various franchises, my eyes aligned upon one in particular.
World: Harry Potter
Difficulty Rating: 3
Description: Be reincarnated into someone in the world of Harry Potter! You will get to personally experience the wonders of magic, as well as one of the most well known franchises in the world. The difficulty level makes this option perfect for starters and material gain for research and upgrades is very easy!
World Effects: Materials (of any rank) have a 200% chance of dropping. Mage classes gain experience at twice the normal rate. Natural dungeons spawn at 25%.
The advertisement-esque description aside, this world seems to indeed be the perfect starting world. Extra materials are essential, especially in the early game and given my starting item, doubled experience for mage classes is also a godsend.
The reduced natural dungeon spawn rate is a bit of a bummer, but it was acceptable given the bonuses to mage class experience and material dropping chance.
Deciding that this would be my starting world, I selected it and a confirmation screen appeared in front of me, asking if I wanted to choose this world.
Wait!
I froze just as I was about to press the 'confirm' option.
Are you sure you don't want to at least check the modding screen?
'Modding screen? What is this, Minecraft?' I thought while the modding screen loaded.
Hah, you wish it was. But no, you can't punch trees for wood in Harry Potter. You would just end up with bloodied fists and a metric ton of pain. The modding screen allows you to do as the name suggests, modify the generated world that you choose.
It seems like the game is starting to grow snarky… Heh, that's going to be fun, having a sarcastic voice in your head 24/7. Joy.
Hey! I heard that!
'You were supposed to.' I shot right back at them just as the modding screen loaded and opened.
…
…
Sweet Jesus there are a LOT of mods.
As I scrolled down to the bottom of the massive list that spanned at least 10 standard A4 pages, I noticed that most seemed extremely expensive, with the cheapest being 10000 credits, which was twenty times the amount of what I had.
It was a shame that I couldn't afford them now. At least once I get the sufficient amount of credits I need, I can come back and install the mods.
No Aoste. Once the world is generated, you cannot install any mods at all.
'What? Then why did you even bring me to this screen then?' I thought indignantly.
Why didn't they tell me in the tutorial phase then? Because now, I'm just annoyed that I can't afford any of these mods which seem very interesting. Was it their goal to make me annoyed? Because if that was, they certainly achieved it.
No, no! It's just that in the tutorial, you couldn't even access this page and it wasn't my intention to make you annoyed! I just thought that now would be a good time to tell you, given that you're about to start a new world and all.
After hearing the explanation, I had to begrudgingly admit that their logic made complete sense. My annoyance also vanished when I heard the slight tone of panic and sadness in the game's voice. It was just trying to be helpful and it meant no harm.
'Yeah, that makes sense. Sorry for being annoyed at you, game.' I mentally apologised to them.
Speaking of the game, do they have a name or something?
… No actually. I don't have a name. You can call me whatever you want.
I got the feeling that it was actually going to say something else, but I put that feeling aside and started going over what I knew of the game, which wasn't much.
As I thought about what to name it, a name once again popped up in my head just like it did as I was creating my own name
'Purity.' I said. 'Does that sound good to you?'
… … … Yes, sure. That name is fine.
I noticed the pause before the now-named Purity responded. That's the second time in a few hours that it happened. There was definitely something more to this than Purity is letting on.
However, as with earlier, I also knew that now was not the right time to confront them. I would need to grow stronger, because chances are almost certain that I would either have to force the answer out of them, or face whatever force they are keeping hidden from me.

Objectives: Reach level 1000 (Awakening 1)

Note: This is a self-imposed quest and has no time limits, nor does the system know about it.
I have to admit, "Existential Crisis - The Beginning" sounds very ominous. Was I part of something that far transcends my very being? Just what was Purity hiding from me that required me to be at least level 1000?
Before I could put more thought into it, I heard the game start speaking again.
Tell you what, as an apology, I'll let you spin a roulette that gives you a free mod, how does that sound?
'That sounds amazing! Thanks Purity!' I thought with glee, acting like a kid in a candy store. Even if the mod I landed on was bad, I didn't have to use it for this world, so there really was no downside to accepting their offer.
However, whatever mod you land on, you MUST use it in all of your future worlds, deal?
Aaaand there was the catch. A permanent mod that would have to be used in every world I'm in. To be honest, that doesn't sound like too bad of a deal, most of the mods were very helpful and only a few were downright scary.
A box with a random number generator appeared before me but just as I was about to use it, I remembered that Enterprise was still with me and probably didn't have the slightest clue about what was going on.
"Hey Enterprise" I called out to the white-haired carrier who was indeed, staring at the modding screen and the box with a completely confused expression on her face. "Do you want to push the button on this box for me? It'll generate a random number, and I'll get whatever modification for this world."
My reasoning was twofold, the first was because she has a far higher luck stat than mine. Hers was 93 at level one, and would only increase as she grew in power. I didn't know if the LUK stat influenced random number generators like this, but it wouldn't hurt to be sure.
The second reason was that I wanted her to feel involved. I knew that I would be working with her for a very long time, and I didn't want her to feel left out.
After all, if people are happy working with you, they'll be less likely to ditch or betray you. Of course, I'm not saying that Enterprise would betray me, but just as a general rule and habit.
The fact that she was my favourite ship in-game played absolutely no part in my choice at all. None whatsoever, I swear.
"Me?" She asked with surprise. "Uhhh, okay sure."
Handing the box to her, she activated it and the countdown theme started playing as numbers randomly appeared, making this far more dramatic than it was supposed to.
We both watched with rapt attention as the tone reached its end and the numbers started slowing down before they finally stopped at "42".
I was startled when I saw her face suddenly go completely red as she scrolled up the list to find which mod corresponded to number 42. She started bowing repeatedly, saying that it wasn't intentional while stammering out apologies in between each sentence.
Wondering what caused Enterprise to go into such a state, I looked at mod #42 and I was very thankful that I was transparent, so that she couldn't see my face go as red as I felt it did.

Well, that's certainly something… A horny-type mod right off the bat.
It could have been far worse, truth be told. I could have ended up with something like the "Outer Gods Expansion Pack", which I knew would probably make my life a living hell. The fact that I would be forced to use this mod in every world I went to didn't phase be too much either, because I knew for sure that it would be fun to play.
Very fun.
"It's alright Enterprise, it could have been worse" I consoled the carrier, who was still stammering out apologies. "It doesn't add any difficulty to the world, and it just merely offers a new form of magic that I'll have to explore. I don't hate you for this, nor can I blame you. It was completely random after all"
'Although somehow, I think Purity rigged it to mess with me." I thought dryly as she started calming down after hearing my words. Funnily enough, I directed that thought at Purity, but they didn't respond, or rather, they couldn't respond because I could hear their hysterical laughter.
Stupid game.
+1 Affection with Enterprise
"Thank you, commander." She said after she got herself under control. Her cheeks were still red though, which I had to admit, made her look very cute.
Now that's done, please proceed to generating the world. Have lots of fun, Aoste!
I could basically see the innuendo in Purity's words; they were so obvious that yes, I could SEE them despite her speaking the words.
Ignoring the chortling of Purity, I started the world generation.

What was this? I am definitely not going to install something that is causing the text of the game to start glitching out. I'm not insane enough to install a complete unknown into my game.
Just as I thought that, I let out a scream of pain as I felt my head starting to burn. It felt like someone was using a hot knife to cut through my brain.
Dimly, I was aware of Enterprise frantically calling out my name, but I couldn't respond to her at all - the pain was completely incapacitating me.
Hold on Aoste! This is not supposed to happen, whatever you do, DO NOT INSTALL THE UNKNOWN MOD. I'm trying my best to detect and isolate the cause of this. Please hold on for just a while longer!
'Easier said than done…' I thought in complete agony as the more I waited, the more intense the pain became.
However, it seems like I wouldn't need to make a decision, as another set of glitchy text appeared before my eyes.

As I saw that final distorted message, my vision started fading to black. The cries of Enterprise and Purity echoed faintly in my ears as my consciousness faded.
Ending notes: For those of you who have played Azur Lane, I'm sure you're VERY familiar with the names "Aoste" and "Purity". Yes, they are exactly who you think they are, and they will play a large part in this story.
Next chapter will be the start of our MC's journey into the HP-verse, but with two different mods, one which is purely for fun (I actually thought up of a bunch of random mods and actually RNG'ed a number and it really was just that particular mod... Me and my luck lol) and one which will be a complete pain in the ass for him to deal with.
I probably should have done this in the previous chapter, but I'll just make a small reference list here of the things I took from other franchises.
Scarlet King - SCP
Scarlet Cult - Own creation. Inspired by SCP
Aghanim's Scepter - Dota 2
Enterprise - Azur Lane
