"I'm protecting my family!" He says with a huff, annoyed. Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the kid before turning back to his older brother.
"Sasuke, let me get them home then I will explain to you." Itachi picked up his youngest son who was wiping recent tears and clutching onto his fox plushie. "Hatake and Haruno. Please continue your mission while I speak to Sasuke" He said calmly, motioning for his other son to pick up his 'ninja tools' so they can go home.
"Baa okay," Kakashi and sakura, along with the little girl, left the area to complete their mission. Itachi nodded to Sasuke as they walked back to their home.
"So this is where you have been?" Sasuke questioned "and the children Itachi? Who did you marry?" As they approached the house, Sasuke examined the boy's faces. They look almost identical to Itachi. The raven hair, dark eyes, pale-ish skin. He did however notice the two stripes on their faces. 'Reminds me of...him'
"I will answer in time" Itachi replied, monotone seeping out of his voice. Causing Sasuke to roll his eyes in annoyance.
"Hey! Dark scary guy" Haruki yelled at Sasuke "what do you want with us?"
"That's not my name"
"Well you are dark and scary, and I dunno your name so"
"If I'm dark and scary, what does that make Itachi?" Sasuke wondered. The child gave a small sound that sounded like 'tch'.
"What do you know? You're just a stranger!" The kid barked back at him, obviously thinking he won the argument. But Sasuke had other plans.
"He's my older brother" The kid didn't seem to believe him considering the look he gave him.
"Stop lying! There is no way you are an uchiha! You don't even have the sharingan!" he pointed to his eyes.
"Hn" He didn't need to feel the need to prove himself to a kid. After a few more minutes of walking, they finally made their way to a 2 story house surrounded by various tall trees. Sasuke watched as the oldest ran inside, taking his sandals off with a great big smile.
"Hideki.." Itachi looked at his now sleeping baby boy, crying must have tired him out. He sighed and walked inside the house along with Sasuke.
"Mama!" Sasuke looked inside to see this 'woman' Itachi had married and who was the one Haruki called mama. When he saw that blond spikey mop of hair, the three whisker-like marks on each cheek, and the tan skin, he instantly went pale (well paler).
"NARUTO!?"
The outburst had made Naruto drop the glass cup he was holding as he turned around. "S-sasuke?!"
"You- you're alive!?" Sasuke asked and walked closer to Naruto and grabbed onto his hand, yanking it forcefully before Itachi was by Naruto's side and had taken away his hand.
"Did I not tell you that I would explain? You have no need to hurt my husband over this Sasuke" That one seemed to piss Sasuke off more, Naruto knew Sasuke had some sort of feelings for him before he was pronounced 'dead'. But Naruto never said he loved Sasuke back, he wanted to stay best friends. Considering how he was also crushing on Itachi during the time, He had been crushing on him since the entire crow thing.
"What the fuck do you mean husband?!" Sasuke was seething now, Itachi took his family, his clan and now he has taken his first and only love?! Why is he always there to ruin something?
"Yes brother, here come sit on the couch while I explain" Sasuke did just that while Naruto laid the kids down for a nap.
When Naruto came back, Itachi had already explained that he was still alive because Naruto had healed his body with the kyuubi chakra after they had fought and that his mission was to kill the entire Uchiha clan from the elders, not from him only practicing.
When Naruto came back he had seen the salty tears leaking from Sasuke's eyes. The tears were made of regret, sadness, and rage. After the two had fought, Naruto had been pronounced dead because team 7 had found his forehead protector floating in a pile of his blood. No one had known where the body was, they assumed he was dead after a year with no return from him. Some were heartbroken, some were happy the village's nine-tailed beast was out of the village and then there was Sasuke. He was angry because he never got to reveal his feelings to him, and he promised that he wouldn't die until he became hokage! But here he was, hidden in the woods of the village of dirt with Itachi and their two kids.
"I see…" "How did you guys have children.." Sasuke looked directly at Naruto, choosing to ignore Itachi. He hated him for taking Naruto still and he didn't think he'd ever let that go.
"The kyuubi has no gender" Itachi explained. Naruto was still too scared to talk. He knew that Sasuke would get emotional and start yelling again. "Therefore naruto has both male and female organs" He sensed the hostility leaking from his little brother be he decided to ignore it.
"Naruto...how could you do this to me? To the village to-" Sasuke had started to guilt trip Naruto but was instantly interrupted by him.
"Stop it Sasuke! I left because I couldn't take Being in that village anymore! Even after saving them from pein I still get side looks and crap just because of the kyuubi! And you- you left so you can't say anything!" Naruto was crying now, hot salty tears escaping from his eyes now. "Now I am happy! And I won't let you take it away from me! So go away!"
