Here ya go. Also, my Last Jedi rewrite is on hold for now. Have a good day, stay home, stay safe.

"So, let me get this straight Jo." Kanan says. "An Imperial, with a very high rank, came down to the bar, and gave you information about a weapon?"

"Yeah. The guy said you had to extract it within the next 48 hours." Jo elaborates. "Claims it's the safest time to do it. He gave me an Imperial shuttle that my droid is sending you to ride into the Imperial building undetected and extract the weapon."

"I don't like this." Zeb voices his opinion.

Sabine agrees. "What if this is a trap?"

"We have to take this risk." Ahsoka says. "I sense that this is not a trap. But I advise you 5 move with caution."

"Commander Sato, what are your orders?" Hera asks.

"I believe that this could be worth it." The older man says. "But I agree with Ahsoka. Be cautious. You must get to Lothal now. Dismissed."

Time jump.

The Ghost crew were in Hyperspace, waiting for the shuttle to come up on Lothal.

Hera and Kanan go over the plan. "When we land, Kanan, Sabine, and Zeb will infiltrate the complex and find the weapon in room 4518." The Twi'lek says.

Kanan continues. "Hera and Chopper will remain behind. Hera is going to be ready to get us out of here, and Chopper will monitor Imperial transmissions to let us know where the troopers are coming."

"Boss, once we find this weapon, what are we going to do? Use it against the Empire?" The Lasat asks.

The young Mandalorian teen says, "If this weapon is as powerful as the information says, why not develop it for ourselves?"

"The anonymous contact was clear. The weapon was to be sent out of circulation period." Kanan says.

"Is everyone clear on their jobs?" Hera asks. They all nod their heads. "Good. We will be coming up on Lothal in half an hour."

The brave heroes land, and they race off to find this weapon. They are met with no guards. Chopper didn't report anything. The 3 crew mates make it to the room, and find an empty room. Well, there is a box. But the room is too dark. Kanan senses something, but can't place it.

"Everybody, keep your guard up. We still don't know-" Kanan is cut off as a lightsaber ignites. At the other end of the hall, a red lightsaber, and a guy with long hair and a metal arm stands. Even Kanan cannot help but be afraid. Sabine starts blasting, but she finds one of her shots deflected back at her, grazing her arm. Zeb tries to engage with his electro staff, but is pushed back with the Force. This leaves Kanan, who takes out his saber. He engages, and they strike each other. This guy is using his metal arm, facing Kanan with one arm. He realizes that they are outmatched. "Time to go!" Kanan says.

The mysterious Force User pursues them, but doesn't call any stormtroopers. In fact, there is no alarms going off. But, Kanan can't be worried about this right now. His main concern is getting back to the Imperial Shuttle and back to Phoenix Squadron. They almost made it back, but a red energy bolt blew up the control panel that would give them a clear path back. The Rebels look to see this guy, who doesn't look older than 20, with his weird lightsaber was smoking a little bit. The man reactivates his saber, and Zeb and Sabine start blasting. But, once again, this guy deflected them back. One hit Sabine in her helmet, knocking her out. The second one hit Zeb in the center of his chest. (Picture it like how Rex was shot in Season 2 of the Clone Wars.) That left Kanan to fight him alone.

The former Jedi Padawan ignited his blue sword once again. The Dark Sider did the same, this time using both his hands. The 2 swordsmen rushed each other. Kanan went on the defensive, his opponent showing his aggressive fighting style early on. Kanan recognized it as Form V. The aggressive, yet precise strikes could easily have been misunderstood as Form IV, but the strikes were strong, slower attacks, not fast and light. The red saber repeatedly kept Kanan from attacking whatsoever. It was clear who was more skilled in attacks. Kanan moves to his opponent's right arm. If he can disarm him, literally, he might be able to get a kill strike on him. He notices how this Dark Sider keeps diverting back to a one handed attack with his metal arm. Kanan gets an idea on the next swing. Kanan jukes to his left, and with his opponent's right arm exposed, he strikes at it. But the blue blade just makes the part metal man stumble back, but he regains his footing, blocking with his left arm the incoming attack from the Jedi.

Kanan is shocked at this, causing his concentration to be broken for just a second. The Inquisitor uses his right arm to push away the blue saber, giving him just enough time to punch the Jedi in the face, knocking him out cold. Suddenly, a few Stormtroopers come around the corner. "Sir, we heard the sound of blaster fire and came rushing over. Is the threat neutralized?"

Einar uses the Force to choke the 4 men, breaking their necks. If he was stopped by anyone else, he could always claim that the Jedi did it. But he had to get out of here. Using his saber to cut the door, Einar carries the 3 Rebels with the Force to the shuttle. Once he gets on board, Ezra hears another voice. "Kanan, are you ready to go?"

When an old C-1 droid appears out of nowhere, Ezra stuns him with his saber/blaster hybrid. Knowing that this will cause the other Rebel to be aware of a threat, he gets ready. He sees a Twi'lek jump out with a blaster. Ezra uses the Force to freeze her. He can see the fear in her eyes. His last words to her is a simple "Thank you" before knocking her out. Ezra gently carries her to a seat and straps her in. He figures they will be out for a little while. So, he quickly gets the heck off of Lothal.

Time jump.

Ezra was on his way to Chopper base. He had told the Ithorian the entire plan. He had managde to get the coordiants of the Rebel base to escape. He knew that when the 5 Rebels wake up, he would have to play it super careful. He didn't just escape the Empire to be shot dead now.

The first thing Kanan sees when he wakes up is Hera sitting in front of her. But what alarmed him was that she was strapped. Kanan tried to break free, but the straps were too tight. He turns and sees Sabine slowly come to.

"Kanan? Are we on Lothal yet?" he hears the girl ask. But she quickly realizes she is tied up as well. "What the Kriff? Wait, that Inquisitor dude. Where is he? Hera?" They see the Twi'lek start to awaken.

Her peaceful figure turns to fear. "Kanan, there is an Inquisitor on board. I think we are going to a prison."

"You know," a new voice is heard. "she is not entirely wrong."

The conscious Rebels turn to see the man who attacked them. "Who are you? What do you want?" Hera asks.

"What I want, you can't give me. Other than my freedom. Thank you." The mysterious man says.

Sabine says, "Okay, that is not helpful at all."

The man with the metal arm rolls his eyes. "I am Ezra Bridger, formerly known as Einar. You have helped me escape the Empire and my master. I thank you all for that. We are headed towards your Chopper base."

"What?!" the 3 Rebels ask. "You probably didn't defect, you are probably leading an Imperial fleet to destroy us." The Mandalorian says.

"I assure you, I am not leading you to your doom." Ezra says. "Just ask your droid."

They turn to see Chopper unstrapped, actually moving. "Chop? Would you mind telling your friends that there is NOT an Imperial fleet following us?"

The droid tells them that he scanned for a tracker on and in the ship. There will be no one following them today. "Wait, Chopper, you TRUST this guy?" Hera says, baffled.

"Figures Chopper would get along with an Imperial." Sabine says. "Wait, what did you do to Zeb?"

Ezra quickly says, "He is fine. I patched up his wound, and then put him into a trance to keep him from attacking and killing me. He is a Lasat after all. He would kill me in a second."

"Where is he?" Kanan asks.

"He is in the cockpit, sleeping soundly." Ezra says.

"Ezra," Hera says, "This is all just a little too much for us to believe. We don't exactly trust the guy who strapped us to keep us from moving and attacked us."

"Fine." Ezra says, "As a show of good faith, I am going to untie you all, and then, you can cuff me to a chair. You can then take me before your Commander so I can explain everything."

True to his word, Ezra unties them, and he sits down on a chair. Sabine cuffs him, and then out of nowhere, sucker punches him. "Sabine!" The girl turns, and defends herself. "That is for attacking us, strapping us to the chairs, and shooting me in the head."

"Okay, I didn't shoot you in the head. I deflected your laser bolt back at you." Looking at Hera, he says, "But I will agree, I deserve it."

As they wait for the shuttle to come up on Lothal, Sabine watches him. "So, how did you Join the ranks of the Empire?"

"They took me when I was 7. The Inquisitor trained me, and sent me on missions. A mission gone wrong is how I got my metal arm."

"What type of missions did he send you on?" Sabine asks.

"Missions a 15 year old should not be doing." Ezra's answer shocks Sabine.

"Wait, you are 15 years old?"

"Yeah. How old do I look?"

"With the facial hair, and the hair length on your head, you look 20." Ezra wasn't allowed to shave. A razor could be used as a weapon, and the Inquisitor didn't want him to have anything except his saber.

"Well, you look to be about 12. How old are you?" Ezra asks.

"You know you aren't supposed to ask a woman's age directly to her right? At least not when you first meet."

"Well, I didn't escape the Empire to meet women. I'm leaving." Sabine looks at him funny. "After I explain things to your leader."

Sabine silently thinks, I think you are in for a big surprise. Sato isn't one to just let someone go.

The Lasat wakes up and Kanan has to calm him down. But Zeb get's right in front of the kid's face. "I can't believe I was beaten by this guy. Probably a former Jedi huh? The way you beat our leader so quickly."

"Zeb stop. He isn't a former Jedi. He is 15." Sabine explains.

The Lasat's ears flop down. "Wait, he's a kid? You're saying he is younger than-"

"Yeah." Sabine interrupts his thoughts. "He's just a kid."

"Okay, I beat all of you guys fairly easily. I think that makes me more than a kid."

For the rest of the ride, there is uncomfortable silence. The shuttle lands, and Kanan says, "Get up kid." He leads him towards the base.

Commander Sato meets them. "Welcome home Ghost team. Did you get the weapon?"

Hera answers. "No, but we have an Imperial Inquisitor who we wish to question. He has been cooperative so far, but we are keeping him hand cuffed. He says he wants to explain things to us."

They all go to an interrogation room. Sato says, "State your name, and age."

"Name is Ezra Bridger. Age 15."

Sato is surprised, but doesn't show it. "Former occupation?"

"Imperial Inquisitor. Didn't get paid."

"And how did you come into contact with the Ghost Crew?"

"I contacted a male Ithorian, and told him about a weapon the Empire was building. I urged him to get the information to the Rebels, and I convinced him to give me the location of the Rebel Base. Told him it was part of my plan. And it was. I'm going to answer your question before you ask. The plan was to inform you and your Rebels about a weapon the Empire was developing. Of course, the weapon is not what you all thought. The weapon is me. I was trained by the Grand Inquisitor, occasionally showcasing my skills to Darth Vader, the Emperor's errand boy. Once the Rebels came, I planned to fight them and corner them at the Shuttle they came in. I didn't want to hurt them, but I had to make things look convincing. The Ithorian I had mentioned earlier willingly gave me the location of the Rebel base. I didn't force it out of him, and I never told anyone else."

Sato listened carefully. The story didn't seem realistic, but it didn't sound so far fetched when you think about it. "Why do you say that weapon is you?"

"Because you don't showcase your skills to the second most powerful being in the Galaxy if you weren't part of a larger purpose. Thinking about it now, the Emperor may have wanted Vader to report back to him about me. Eventually the Emperor may have wanted to take me as his new apprentice, casting Vader aside."

"What reason do we have to believe that you come in peace?"

Ezra looks at him dead in the eyes. "Because if I wanted to, I would have killed you already." To prove his point, he breaks out of the handcuffs he is in. A normal 15 year old can't do that.

Sabine, who was in the room with Sato as protection, pulls her blasters on him. Sato is surprised at Ezra's strength, but doesn't flinch at this demonstration of power. The older man motions for her to lower her weapons. The Mandalorian does, but doesn't take her hands off.

"What is your ultimate goal? You wish to join our ranks to fight the Empire?"

Ezra chuckles slightly. "No. I only came here to explain myself. After this, I plan on disappearing in the outer rim."

Sato sighs. "You have been very cooperative with us. I have no reason to believe you wish to bring us harm. However, you have to understand, we cannot simply let you go. The Empire could capture you, and could get you to reveal information about us. You already know where we are."

"I was raised by the Empire. I know how to evade them. And I wouldn't tell anyone about your base." Ezra is realizing he should have just dropped them off and then escaped without any explanation.

"I know, but I cannot just take the word of a 15 year old. I'm sorry." Sato is truly sorry. But for the safety of the Rebellion, he needed to do this. Rex and Ahsoka enter the room. "Take him to a cell. But treat him well. He is just a kid."

Ahsoka and Rex take him to the cell. Rex leaves, but Ahsoka stays. She just looks at the kid. He has all the familiar traits she saw in her vision.

Ezra was just laying down on his new bed. An actual bed. Wow. And to think I wanted to leave.

"I've seen you before." Ahsoka finds herself saying.

Ezra looks her way. "I don't remember seeing you before on a mission."

Ahsoka is slightly taken back by this, but continues. "You wouldn't. The Force showed me something. In the vision, I saw you."

"And?" Ezra is confused at this.

"And in the vision, you called me master. You stand by our side, and help fight the Empire." Ahsoka says.

"Ma'am, I just escaped one Master. And he was the closest thing I had to a father, and a monster. I'm not going to trade one master for another." Ezra sits up straight and looks her straight in the eye.

"Maybe not now. But you will in time. The Force wills it." Ahsoka says.

Ezra gets up and walks towards her. "Oh, the Force wills it. So, the Force willed for my parents to die? It willed me to become a monster? It willed for me to have this metal arm? It willed me to kill innocent people? It willed me to become a weapon of destruction?" Ezra punches the energy gate that was separating him and the Togruta with his metal arm. Ahsoka barely flinched, and that was all Ezra needed to see to know that she was afraid of him. An adult Togruta, who looks to be in her 30ies, is afraid of a 15 year old.

Ahsoka realizes her mistake, as the boy's face turns from anger to saddness. He was testing me. He wanted to see if I was afraid of him.

The boy lays back on his bed. Ahsoka, finding herself speaking before she thinks says, "I'm Ahsoka Tano. In case you wanted to know. I'll be back tomorrow Ezra."

Ezra hears her leave. He doubts that she will. No one keeps there promises to a prisoner. He should know. He was an oppressor for the Empire. He will always be feared by people.

There is chapter 2. Hope you enjoyed it. Stay home, stay safe.
