Mom and dad both turn towards me, and aunt Maggie looked a bit concerned, "Um, Ash. If I may ask, can we see your team? Silver only recently hatched and I want to see if he's ready for this fight."

He grabbed 5 white and red balls and threw them into the air, they all split in half and bursts of light came from them, out of which came 5 pokemon, 2 green ones, a light blue, a gold and a dark blue pokemon appeared around him. "This is Bulbasaur, Noctowl, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita." He said pointing to each one, they all said (Hi) as they were introduced.

"Well they don't seem too bad, Silver you can fight. Unless it's the Noctowl,"

We walked a bit aways from the water back to the base of the rock i lept off of before.

We stopped but Ash went forward a bit more until we are pretty spread out,

"Totodile! I choose you!"

"Silver, take a battle stance." Aunt Maggie smiles at me "You'll be great, just try and listen to what i say."

I nod and step in front of her and crouch down. Ready to sprint forward when she says so.

"Totodile, use tackle!" Ash yelled, Totodile immediately rushed at me.

I glanced back at Aunt Maggie, but she stood there calmly. I glance at her hand and saw it roll. I think she wants me to roll out of the way, I turn back around and wait until he jumps towards me to roll away, after which I spin around and tackle him myself before leaping backwards.

(I thought you just hatched.)

I nod at him, and glance at Ash as he yells "Headbut!"

Aunt Maggie smiles and I look at her hand. I turn around and jump just in time to dodge, but he stops and turns around and tries again. I step out of the way and run towards the rock before stopping at a part close to the ground but to high up to jump. I turn around and stare at Totodile.

"Headbut again!"Ash yells.

I smile as totodile rushes forwards, I spin around and jump up towards the rock, as my feet hit it I launch off of it landing behind him right as he crashes into the rock.

"Silver, come back here." I sprint to Aunt Maggie and slide behind her, as Mom leaps forwards into the field. "Watch carefully, you may learn how to really fight."

"Aura! Use aura blast." Mom gets surrounded by an orange flame like substance before jumping forward and stopping, but the orange rushes forward without her hitting Totodile, sending him skidding backwards. "Now use Bite!" Aunt Maggie yelled. Mom sprints forward materializing a large set of teeth in front of her, before biting down on totodile knocking him out with swirls in his eyes.

Ash pulls out a ball and a beam of light takes totodile away, he mumbles to the ball before putting it on his belt, "Noctowl, you want to take this one?"

Noctowl flies in front of Ash (Your fighting style seems familiar, almost like-)

Mom cuts him off (Team rocket? Surprised you noticed)

Noctowls eyes widen before aunt Maggie cuts in "Extreme speed!"

Mom rushed forward and became a blur, before smashing into his side her aura fading as her attack ended. Aunt Maggie clears her throat and does a hand signal again, Mom jumps up before using extreme speed again to get close and then with her paw glowing white she smashed it down on his head. Ash is yelling commands that noctowl can't listen to before finally flapping his wings, kicking up a wind before flying into the air.

"Use aerial ace!" Noctowl flies into the air as his wings glow white before smashing into mom knocking her back, the dust settles and Mom as swirls in her eyes, she shakes her head and walks back, Dad steps out before shooting some fire out of his mouth. (Your father was raised by an arcanine, so he can use many fire attacks, we could use other elements but we risk the chance of evolving.)

"Smolder use a Flame charge then Fire fang." Noctowl looks confused before saying(Your an eevee, you can't use Fire moves like that without evolving) Dad sweeps his tail around the dirt creating a small could before charging out on fire, jumping and crashing into Noctowl knocking him out of the air then generating a set of teeth out of fire, knocking him out. Noctowl tries to get up and falls back down before he's pulled back into a ball.

"Pikachu, Lets go buddy!" Dad's fur turns a darker shade of orange before flaring a small burst of fire, Pikachu's cheeks glow and spark as they stare at each other, before Ash breaks the silence. "Quick attack!"

"Use protect, Defensive, then follow up with Protect Burst!"Aunt Maggie glances down at me and kneels down next to me and mom. Dad raises a shielding wall letting Pikachu crash into it before he shoves his paws outwards sending the wall shooting forwards knocking Pikachu back further. "Use Overheat!"

She turns towards mom"sorry for using double edge Aura." Mom shrugs as dad blasts heat in all directions, "Pikachu use thunder to counter it!" (On it!) Pikachu yells back before sending a large bolt of lightning into the air that shoots back down and hits Pikachu, not hurting exactly but clearly stunning him. I look down towards the floor and bite at the air a few times before I accidentally summon the teeth. Well i suppose it wasn't accidental, i was trying to summon them but i didn't actually expect to.(Hey good job Silver, Keep watching your father and you might get a bit stronger.)

It's at this point I notice Pikachus style for the first time. It's like he was built for speed and able to shoot attacks much harder than he actually making contact, like he was powerful, and he knew he was powerful. Not thinking he was more powerful then he was or underestimate it. He knew his limits and pushed them not too far, but just enough for him to get stronger.

Dad seemed to be brute forcing his way through this fight, relying on taking more hits than his opponent then relentless attack like moms. I watch as each exchange a few hits before dad collapses in exhaustion. "Well I guess this battle is over-" Aunt Maggie starts to say as I walk in front of Pikachu. (I'm finishing the fight I started…) I say hesitantly.

POV SWAP (P)

This kid had guts, he just watched me beat his dad and he still steps onto the field, He seems to be brave but i see a bit of fear in his eyes,

(I'm finishing the fight I started…) He says his voice was flat and I can hardly trace any emotion in it, before I swore I saw a glimmer in his eyes… which were both a rich blue a second ago one brightened into a bright green. (Maggie this isn't a good idea… His aura completely jumped track.)I hear Aura say in a low whisper. "I don't think I can stop him aura." the human whispers back, i don't know how she understands pokemon but i'm glad they are letting him fight.

(So we actually get to have a battle, huh?) I say to him. He shuts his eyes and clenches his jaw before seeming to send out a very small blast of energy, i almost didn't notice it until aura said (He has 2 auras, that's not normal… Smolder, do you think that Team rocket was right?)

I'm a bit taken back by this,and I hear a pokeball open and noctowl yells to me (They're with team rocket, or at least they used to be. They both fought with the same style the admins did.)

I turn to look at ash and he seems to be waiting for something… I tilt my head, oh wait- he had just hatched, hadn't he? Ash is giving Silver the first hit. "Use bite!" The other human, Maggie shouted, Silver rushed forward materializing the teeth in front of him, there's something else though… something changed about his appearance. I almost forget the fight and leap back just in time (Woah, you're fast.)I yell over at him (You aren't to slow yourself) His mood completely changed, he's smiling and bouncing around, completely different from when totodile fought him. He seemed stiff and didn't know how to feel. But now as I'm dodging his attacks he's found a rhythm, I faintly hear Maggie saying moves and Silver is doing his best at following them.

I accidentally look right at him as he slams his eyes shut and he seems to glow brightly, not like and evolution glow, but a sparkle that blinds me for a second, its as if his fur reflects the light of the setting sun behind me, I feel a large set of teeth crunch down on me.

POV SWAP (?)

I don't know what's happening, one moment i was Silver, next i was just in Silvers body, And now its like me and Silver are overlapping each other, everytime we're about to get hit it feels like i can see everything around us and when i think really hard i can just barely alter the bath of some of the more ranged attacks, suddenly i feel pain coursing through me i shut my eyes and see a small orb in the distance. As I move closer, it looks to stay white but a bright orange seems to be burning from it, it also looks to be an upside down heart rather than an orb.

I move towards it and see a crack forming near the top of it before cracking off completely. I try to reach forward and grab it but in a flash it's gone and orange mist seems to be leaking out of it, I open my eyes momentarily to see we halted our attack and seem to be purely evading. I move to where the orange is leaking out of before trying to block it, but instead I see a red spec inside, I grab it and pull it free. It takes the shape of a heart rightside up, it's a pure, bright red. And then the orange mist is absorbed inside of it and the half that I can see is orange with a reddish hue, and vice versa on the other half. I stare at it for a second before the tip of the last heart appears, and hits the new heart breaking the bottom point off and fixing itself where it just was, turning to a pure orange instead of blending with the red.

The red fuses itself on the upside down heart and the orange flame turns partially red. At the base. I look at the new heart, it is still, I picture moving it and it actually moves. I move it into the white soul and I'm blinded as I cease to exist, at least I'm positive it's temporary.

POV SWAP (S)

I suddenly feel very scared, aunt Maggie tells me to tackle, but I keep trying to dodge instead. That thunderbolt really hurt earlier. But… Now I feel, Determined, faster, stronger. I run in a circle gaining speed until I ram into Pikachu. "Thats it Silver! Use extreme speed again!" I smile, I think i might actually win this.

POV SWAP (P)

Silver is incredible. He is learning so fast and getting stronger the longer we fight, the sun is just a sliver in the sky, but something is bothering me. I notice every time my thunderbolt veers off course, his fur turns a light shade of lime green and I swear his green eye glows a bit. I've never seen a shiny espeon but if it's lime green, then like his father he can use more elemental attacks as an eevee. "Silver, bite!" Silver seems to back away all of the sudden. I take my chance and start attacking. He seems to be losing his former bravery, he seems to dodge and avoid me as much as possible, until something snapped. I could see it happen. It looks like this red stuff flowed off him in waves, before he runs in a circle until he's a blur… and now he's gone…
