It was a normal day in the water tower. Yakko had a meeting with Plotz and Nora Rita Norita, Wakko was watching Don Knotts in the living room, and Dot and Shay were in their shared room playing Mario Kart.
"Ha! First place!"
"Not for long!"
"Not the blue shell, not the blue shell- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
"In your face! How does it feel- WHO PUT DOWN THAT BANANA PEEL?!" (haha funny rhyme)
"You did, idiot!"
Shay laughed as she won another round. Dot glared at her.
"Next time we're playing Smash Bros."
Shay's stomach growled.
"WILLYA SHUT UP?" she yelled at it. Then she turned to Dot.
"I'm gonna make cupcakes, okay? Be right back."
Dot nodded and settled on her bed with a celebrity magazine.
5 Minutes Later
(read that in the Spongebob narrator voice)
"Uh, Wakko, Dot?" yelled Shay. "Where's the fire extinguisher?"
Dot sighed and ran to the kitchen, only to be greeted by a cloud of smoke. Wakko rummaged through his gag bag. "Found it!"
Shay ran out of the cloud, grabbed the extinguisher, and sprayed the contents into the kitchen. The cloud slowly evaporated, until all that remained was an acrid smell. Cupcake batter was spilled, and there were burn marks everywhere.
"Oh boy," groaned Dot. "How are we going to explain this to Yakko?"
"You mean, explain how Shay almost burned down the kitchen for the fifth time this month?"
All three toons jumped.
"Yakko!" snapped Shay. "Don't scare us like that!"
Yakko just chuckled. "Why don't you guys do something quiet while I clean up the mess?"
The girls decided to go for a walk while Wakko went back to his Don Knotts tapes. They went to the park and were on the way back to the tower when they heard someone wolf-whistling.
"Hey, angel," some creepy dude said, "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"
"Shut up, loser," snapped Shay. "C'mon, Dot."
The guy kept following them. "What's wrong, beautiful? Don't be sc-"
That was when Dot smashed him with a mallet even bigger than the one she used on her brothers.
"Thanks, Dot," grinned Shay.
"No problem," answered her friend. "Are you okay?"
Shay sighed. "People like him suck. I can't believe they actually exist."
Dot nodded in understanding. "That's true, but if another creep comes after you, he won't live to regret it."
Shay laughed. "Because we're besties?"
Dot squeezed her hand. "Forever and ever!"
