Letters From Willow Creek Part 2

When Gaby and Alex made it to the park, Alex wrote RALLY A in the dirt beneath the swing set.

Jamal and Casey were at the community garden helping Sally with planting seeds.

When they got the rally message.

One by one, the Ghostwriter team members met Alex and Gaby in the park.

The rest of the team also had pen pal letters in their hands.

"Alex and I have some good news." Gaby said to the rest of the team.

"Not as good as mine I hope." Lenni said.

"Our pen pals from Willow Creek Virginia are coming to New York for a competition!" the Ghostwriter team exclaimed in unison.

That evening at sunset in Willow Creek at the Atwood residence, Elizabeth Atwood who everyone called Lisa was in her living room reading her favorite book.

When a knock sounded on the front door.

Melanie Atwood, Lisa's younger sister was sitting at the coffee table drawing a picture when she too heard the persistent knocking.

"I'll get the door," Melanie said. "it could be Jess and Mister Cooper, they have decided to take up our invitation to dinner."

Eleanor Atwood entered the living room from the kitchen.

"No you won't, Melanie," Eleanor said firmly. "I will answer the door."

Eleanor went to the front door and opened it.

But it was not Jess and her grandfather at the door.

Instead it was Lisa's boyfriend, Rafael.
