As she made her way through the hallway, she found herself paying not much attention to her surroundings- and subsequently bumped into someone. "Oh, my sincerest apologies-!" She looked up to see herself standing before a taller boy of bronze skin, with dark, cropped brown hair of similar color to his piercing eyes. He had a muscular build, obscured slightly but visible from under his slightly baggy t-shirt.
"Woah, are you okay?" His voice was deep and honey-like to her ears. But- No, she was a modest and faithful Christian girl, and she would not succumb to temptation from the Devil. This boy was the same as all the others, a Sinner, unholy, and she should not waste her time on a nonbeliever such as him.
Bella looks away annoyedly and scoffs. "I am doing perfectly fine, Sinner." Grief briefly flashed upon the boy's face when she said this, and he muttered, "Oh God, not this crazy Christian girl…" Bella's gaze snapped to him. "Do not say the Lord's name in vain! And do not speak those Devilish words of me, Heathen."
Just then, her eyes trailed downwards to the subject of his shirt, and she gasps. A wolf adorned his shirt, howling at the moon in all it's Sinful glory. "You Heathenous Monstrosity- you werewolf!," she shouted at him in realization. The boy stared at her, unintelligently. "...You can't be serious," he remarked, deceptively.
Bella stumbled back, glaring at him. "I see through your ruse, Monster! You will not be fooling me with your act of Lies and Deceit!," she cries, pointing a knowing finger at him. The Werewolf made attempt to remark back at her, when a figure enters the scene.
Edward stands behind Bella, holding her shoulders to support her. "What seems to be the problem?," he asks, dauntingly. Bella leans into his arms. "Oh, Edward, it's horrible!," she sobs, "I've uncovered- a werewolf!" She points at his shirt in a dramatic act of revelation. The Vampire hisses at him.
"Never dare to look upon this young, pure, lady ever again, brute. I'll suck you dry if you step even a foot close to her," Edward spat, threateningly. The Fiend opens his mouth, closes it once more, shakes his head, and leaves, defeated.
Seeing this as victory, Edward quickly unhands Bella and steps aside from her. "My apologies," he quickly apologizes, "I should not have handled you like that. I was only trying to protect you- Premarital Shoulder Grasping is a mortal sin!"
Bella looks up at him and smiles. "It is alright. The Lord forgives you," she reassures him, calmly.
A small smile graces his face, shyly revealing his dulled fangs. "Thank you. Thank the Lord."
They hold their hands in prayer, speaking in unison. "Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from Evil, Amen."
